The basic form of this new element, Governmentium (Gv), has been found to have 1
neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons, and 198 assistant
deputy neutrons. These 312 elemental particles are held together by intrinsic atomic forces
and cluster into molecules called morons and are completely surrounded by vast quantities
of lesser particles called peons.

Governmentium is devoid of light and has no photons or electrons, so it is 100% inert.
However, its presence can be easily detected because it is known to impede every
elemental reaction with which it comes into contact.
A tiny amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that
would normally take less than a second to occur, to take from 4 days to 4 years or more.

Governmentium has a normal half life of 2 to 6 years. It does not decay,
but instead uniquely undergoes a periodic particle reorganization process
by the surrounding peons, in which a portion of
the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places.

Perhaps the most remarkable property of Governmentium is that
its mass actually increases over time, since each
reorganization causes more morons to become assistant and deputy
neutrons, forming extremely high density isotopes of this element.

This characteristic of moron promotion has led some scientists to
believe that Governmentium is first formed whenever morons reach a
critical concentration and react to increase the lesser neutron population.
This hypothetical quantity is referred to as
critical morass.

When catalyzed with taxpayer funds, and particularly money
that is borrowed or simply created from nothing by printing press reactors,
Governmentium makes a phase transition to Bureaucratium, a related
heavy element. Interestingly, Bureaucratium requires even more energy to break down
than Governmentium because while it has the same number of peons,
it has twice as many morons.

This discovery was immediately followed by another, the discovery of Obamium. One year of data accumulation and analysis, starting January, 2009, has confirmed the properties of Obamium.

Obamium damages or destroys the molecular structure of any compound it comes in contact with. Obamium is especially destructive to any compound associated with Economium, Libertium, Freedomium, or Constitutionum.

When combined with Governmentium, Obamium acts as a catalyst, causing Governmentium to accumulate mass at an extremely rapid rate. Much like a black hole, Governmentium combined with Obamium absorbs everything it encounters.

It also changes changes the properties of Governmentium; the combination of  Governmentium and Obamium is even more destructive to Economium, Libertium, Freedomium, and Constitutionum.

Scientists who are not members of the Church of Global warming agree unanimously: the combination of Obamium and Governmentium is the most dangerous, destructive, toxic substance America has ever known.

The real action will have to be next year, after the mid-term elections. But even then, it’s not clear whether our political system can deal with the crisis of deficits and debt, or whether it will take our foreign creditors, on whose lending we are totally hooked, to administer the shock we need to get our financial foundation on a sound footing. I suspect the latter. They wouldn’t have to do much, just a few public pronouncements in Beijing that China’s central bank plans to invest excess reserves in a different way than it did in the past. In other words, there would not have to be withdrawals of foreign investments, just no increases to feed our ever-growing needs, to induce widespread panic in the markets and in Washington.

If I suspended my instincts about how the crisis would ultimately be resolved, and make an assumption that our political system could rise to the occasion—an assumption of historic proportions—what would Washington have to do?

We’ve all been annoyed by bad driving, and the use of cell phones while driving has become a focal point for this. But do we need more laws? I said no when the idea of banning cell phone use was first proposed, and I still say so. There were already enough laws against bad driving.

Now this study reports the laws haven’t made a difference. Never mind, the Nobama Administration says we need a federal law banning cell phone use. Yet another usurpation of State’s authority, going into an area that is no business of the Federal Gov’t, something that is not wanted, and by the way, is not needed anyway! Now the Conservative will likely say “See, I told you so. No law was needed”. The Liberal will likely say “Then we need more laws!”.

In the same newspaper I read about this study today, I saw an article titled “Scolding Falls on Deaf Ears” about how Nobama plans to overcome the “partisan logjam” to enact his agenda. How offensive on multiple levels: Scolding? If anyone needs “scolding’ it is Nobama and his merry band of corrupt and/or Incompetent Buffoons.  “partisan logjam”? Oh you mean not everybody has joined the religion, there is opposition, and instead of modifying the agenda, the opposition needs to be crushed, ignored, or circumvented? What about the fact that a majority (and growing) of the American people oppose Nobama’s agenda? Don’t they count for something, even a mention?

The arrogance, the double-standards, the hypocrisy of this bunch is almost beyond belief.  I hope Democrites are utterly and totally crushed in the Nov. election, if for nothing else just to teach them a well-deserved lesson. And let’s hope the Republican party has learned its lesson, one it seems to forget periodically.

The automaker on Thursday also forecast a full-year profit in 2010. Earlier it had only promised to be “solidly profitable” in 2011.
