Obama's Socialist Fantasy: Yearning for his inner 'Bulworth'

You may be forgiven if you missed it during last week’s tsunami of scandals, but President Obama finally let slip that he is a socialist.

Buried in the 17th paragraph of one of those mewling New York Times pieces on the woes of Obama — can we start calling him Woe-bama yet? — appeared these two words: “going Bulworth.”

Obama himself, the Times explained, has been “longingly” telling his inner circle that what he’d really like to do is what Sen. Jay Bulworth, played by Warren Beatty in his 1998 movie “Bulworth,” did: to go public as an unabashed, angry and admitted socialist.

It’s as if Ronald Reagan had been caught saying he wanted to “Go Strangelove.” In confessing his dreams of “going Bulworth,” Obama confirmed that what he thinks and what he says out loud are two different things. He let slip the mask of a center-left moderate — a “pragmatist” who only cares about “what works.” The press and even right-of-center columnists like Ross Douthat and David Brooks have always insisted that this completely unconvincing masquerade is genuine.

My kind of Non-Profit Organization: WWII veterans visit their memorials

With all the crap that's been occupying the news lately, this story is a breath of fresh air. I was pleased to discover that there are non-profits out there that have not forgotten our WWII vets in their later years:

As Robert Johnston, 90, stood at the World War II Memorial 67 years after serving in the Marines, he thought of his best friend who was killed at the Battle of Saipan. Johnston, a second lieutenant who earned a Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts at Saipan and Iwo Jima, said being able to visit the memorial for the first time gave him a chance to reflect.

“It’s so good to be here and to think back about the people that didn’t make it, unfortunately,” said the Stoneham resident.

“We had almost 100 percent casualties,” he said. “If somebody wasn’t wounded, he was a lucky person. And I was a lucky person.”

On Sunday, nonprofit Honor Flight New England took 61 local World War II veterans to Washington, D.C., to visit the memorials that honor them for their sacrifices. In anticipation of Memorial Day next week, the veterans, now in their 80s and 90s, reflected at the National World War II Memorial, the Korean War Veterans Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Marine Corps War Memorial, and the Air Force Memorial.

“It’s been 70 years for some of us, and it brought back some memories,” said Johnston.

Honor Flight New England, a regional branch of the national Honor Flight Network, covers the transportation and food costs for day trips for the veterans.

The Homeland Security Department has granted legal status to 99.2 percent of all illegal immigrants Who applied under the DACA Policy

That’s a slight drop from the 99.5 percent approval rate reported last month.

The policy, known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, grants legal status to most illegal immigrants under the age of 31 who came to the U.S. before age 16 — usually brought by their parents. They are allowed to remain in the U.S. without fear of deportation, and are given work permits. Most states have agreed to issue them driver’s licenses as well.

DACA is seen as a test-run should Congress pass a broad legalization for the 11 million illegal immigrants estimated to be in the U.S. That’s one reason why the high approval rate is striking.

Critics of the Obama policy say a rate that high means the administration isn’t doing much screening of those who are applying.

Barack HUSSEIN Obama is a very busy man right now…I mean what with the ‘Trifecta of Scandals’ to lie about…ooops, I mean to deal with...that I sure hope the people affected by the (now confirmed EF-5) tornado in Oklahoma don’t take his promises of help to heart.

And while on Monday night Obama signed a disaster declaration for Oklahoma, claiming this clears the way for federal aid…just like he did in New Jersey after Superstorm Sandy…this is a hollow declaration filled with empty words for most home and business owners in New Jersey are still waiting for the bulk of that promised aid.

And in a telephone conversation with Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin and Representative Tom Cole (whose home was in the devastated town of Moore), Obama told them that “the people of Oklahoma are in his and the first lady’s thoughts and prayers” and that while his team will continue to keep him updated, he urged the governor to be in touch directly if there were additional resources the administration could provide.

‘Continue to keep him updated’…what a miserable excuse of a president he is for as our country's leader Obama should be there now, on the ground getting his hands dirty, helping, consoling, and giving hope to the people of Oklahoma NOT merely being kept updated…but Oklahoma is a ‘red state’ and that says it all. But if there’s a photo-op of the devastation that he can use to his benefit you know he’ll be there in the blink of an eye.

The devastation is mind-boggling as the 20-mile path of destruction ripped homes from their foundations, stripped the bark off what few trees were left standing, and tossed cars blocks from their owners homes. And as of now officials have confirmed at least 24 people have died, the medical examiner’s office confirmed at least 233 people have been injured, with that number expected to rise as recovery efforts continue over the coming days.

Recovery efforts NOT rescue efforts as the cadaver dogs have now sadly been called in.

And while Obama promises them help…what a president should do…his track record of helping those in trouble…those in need…is NOT good NOT good at all. Remember, Barack HUSSEIN Obama didn’t help Brian Terry’s family in finding answers to ‘Fast and Furious’…he didn’t help Sandy Hook recover from the murders of 20 children except to use them as photo-ops to push his (thankfully failed) gun-control agenda…he didn’t help Ambassador Stevens when he begged for help in Benghazi…and he didn’t really help the people of New Jersey after Superstorm Sandy NO matter what turncoat Governor Chris Christie says.

Heaven help the people of Oklahoma for Obama’s words are empty words as his Sandy photo-ops are testament to, for he made BIG promises but delivered little if at all. When he hugged New Jersey business owner Donna Vanzant after the storm…in the photo shown around the world…after her home had been destroyed and her marina business gone…he promised her so much but the lady who was the recipient of Obama’s hug has now said that the president’s promises to 'pour aid' into the area were empty…she and her neighbors got empty promises along with a non-personal form letter e-mail from him.

“[The email] had nothing to do with what I was asking him. It was a form letter. It thanked me for supporting the troops. He made a promise to rebuild on national television, and I can’t even get this money,” she said.

And her destroyed business received NO help from FEMA either, except for an offer to give her a loan at 6% interest…a high-interest loan that under the circumstances they knew she would NOT be able to make the monthly payments on. Ain’t it great to offer…great for publicity and NOTHING more when you know the person cannot accept it.

Is this what awaits the people of Oklahoma…sadly, it could very well be.

Remember, with Obama everything is about campaigning even after having stolen…ooops again, I mean having won (gag) the last election, and it’s NOT likely that Governor Fallen will grovel at his feet like Chris Christie did. And I seriously doubt the predominately Republican people of Oklahoma will get any more help than the predominately Democratic people of New Jersey got..more likely they will get even less…a lot less.

And sending the dreaded FEMA people to Oklahoma to aid in state and local recovery efforts…to ensure that federal resources are being ‘properly deployed’…sends a message that here comes the screw-ups, the excuses, and of course the cover-ups the federal government is known for….especially the Obama government.

Sadly, the good people of Oklahoma will find they’re on their own for Obama has NOTHING to politically gain by helping hard working, God loving, family-oriented people…he saves his help for ‘the sponges’ of our society…for his blind-faith followers…his sheeple and no one else.

And you know what, Oklahoma will survive, rebuild, and thrive even without Obama's promised help that will never arrive as ‘We the People’ will help our fellow Americans when he won’t.

The AP may take Legal Action against the Justice Department

The president and chief executive officer of the Associated Press called the government’s secret seizure of two months of reporters’ phone records ‘‘unconstitutional’’ on Sunday and said the news cooperative had not ruled out legal action against the Justice Department.

Gary Pruitt, in his first television interviews since it was revealed the Justice Department subpoenaed phone records of AP reporters and editors, said the move already has had a chilling effect on journalism. Pruitt said the seizure has made sources less willing to talk to AP journalists and, in the long term, could limit Americans’ information from all news outlets.

Pruitt said on CBS’s ‘‘Face the Nation’’ that the government has no business monitoring the AP’s newsgathering activities. ‘‘And if they restrict that apparatus . . . the people of the United States will only know what the government wants them to know and that’s not what the framers of the Constitution had in mind when they wrote the First Amendment,’’ he said.

Bloomberg: Bill Gates retakes the World's Richest title

The 57-year-old co-founder of Redmond, Washington-based Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) recaptured the title from Mexican investor Carlos Slim yesterday, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, as the software maker hit a five-year high. It is the first time Gates has held the mantle since 2007. His fortune is valued at $72.7 billion, up 16 percent year-to-date.

Slim’s America Movil (AMXL) SAB, the largest mobile-phone operator in the Americas, has dropped 14 percent this year after Mexico’s Congress passed a bill that could quash the billionaire’s market dominance. That’s helped erase more than $3 billion from the 73-year-old tycoon’s net worth.

“When they’re talking about reform in a country that’s generally poor, and the guy shows up No. 1 on the list -- not a good thing,” said Greg Lesko, managing director at New York-based Deltec Asset Management LLC, which oversees $750 million and has an “underweight” position in Slim’s flagship company. “He’s had a pretty good monopoly situation in Mexico, and the Mexican cellphone user has been paying more than he should. We applaud it for the country.”

The City of Detroit is a heartbeat away of going belly-up

The Detroit city government is weeks away from running out of the cash it needs to operate, according to an initial report from the emergency manager overseeing its finances.

The report from Kevyn Orr, the bankruptcy attorney appointed by the state in March, lays out a bleak financial position for the city.

"The city has effectively exhausted its ability to borrow," he writes in the report, adding that the city "is clearly insolvent." To avoid running out of cash before the end of its fiscal year on June 30, it must "defer payments on its current obligations," including more than $100 million in pension payments that are due.

"No one should underestimate the severity of the financial crisis," Orr said in a statement. "The path Detroit has followed for more than 40 years is unsustainable and only a complete restructuring of the city's finances and operations will allow Detroit to regain its footing."

Tea Party Groups prepare to sue the IRS

Jay Devereaux hadn’t paid much attention to the daily drumbeat of partisan politics in D.C. He wasn’t a Washington nerd, and didn’t know who said what during congressional hearings -- nor did he care.

But when news broke that the government was using taxpayer money to bail out Wall Street banks, he started paying attention and didn’t like what he was hearing.

So the Florida father and information technology specialist decided to form a group, Unite in Action, to educate people in his area about the issues, he said. It was originally formed as a corporation before Devereaux decided to apply for tax-exempt status from the IRS.

That was two years ago. It was never approved.

“It’s all but killed us,” Devereaux told FoxNews.com. “We could lose everything. Today, it’s me and my organization, but tomorrow it could be you.”

Devereaux is among a group of activists, being represented by the American Center for Law and Justice, who are preparing to sue the federal government for the practice of targeting Tea Party groups. ACLJ Executive Director Jordan Sekulow told FoxNews.com he'll likely file the civil suits next Wednesday or Thursday on behalf of more than a dozen Tea Party groups who say they were singled out by the IRS and had their tax-exempt status severely delayed or denied altogether.

It's a Small World? IRS Counsel rescues Jeremiah Wright's Church from IRS Probe before joining the Agency

News reports from the time indicate the now-chief counsel of the IRS, William Wilkins, helped a church connected to President Barack Obama’s friend Rev. Jeremiah Wright get out of an IRS probe in 2008 while working as a private attorney.

“Lawyers from Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr have won the dismissal of an IRS case against United Church of Christ, Sen. Barack Obama's denomination,” The American Lawyer’s Zach Lowe wrote on May 22, 2008.

The IRS initiated an investigation early this year after a speech by Obama at a 50th anniversary celebration of the church last June. It was a reference by Obama to his presidential candidacy in a talk otherwise focused on faith that caught the agency's attention. Tax laws prohibit non-profits--including churches--from engaging in political speech or promoting candidates. The IRS can withdraw an organization's tax-free status if the organization is found to violate the rule.

Lowe noted that Obama had been a “member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago--a UCC congregation--for more than 20 years. The church has been in the headlines for several months now as the congregation lead by the controversial Reverend Jeremiah Wright.”

William Wilkins, then a WilmerHale law firm partner, said, “We were so interested in the case we offered to do it pro bono."

54 Colorado Sheriffs Sue State over New Gun Restrictions

Colorado sheriffs upset with gun restrictions adopted in the aftermath of last year's mass shootings filed a federal lawsuit Friday, challenging the regulations as unconstitutional.

The lawsuit involves sheriffs from 54 of Colorado's 64 counties, most representing rural, gun-friendly areas of the state.

The sheriffs say the new state laws violate Second Amendment protections that guarantee the right to keep and bear arms. Opponents are criticizing the lawsuit as political maneuvering.

The filing targets Colorado laws that limit the size of ammunition magazines and expand background checks. The regulations passed the Legislature this spring and are set to take effect July 1.

It isn't yet clear whether the sheriffs' challenge will delay or jeopardize the laws. The filing, however, guarantees the renewal of a fierce debate over gun control.

Playing tit-for-tat...Obama's war on journalism

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

The First Amendment to the Constitution guarantees, among other things, that government shall NOT infringe upon the freedom of the press (which infers by today's standards to include all the news media...TV, radio, the web, etc.)...the Fourth Estate...that the press is NOT to be subject to censorship by the government. In other words, the government does NOT have the right to try to control or block anything from being published by the press or to prevent the expression of ideas before they are published.

But yesterday, coming on the heels of last week's AP scandal, news broke that the DOJ, in an affidavit which including a statement by FBI agent Reginald Reyes, stated that there was evidence that Fox News's chief Washington correspondent James Rosen broke the law, and is now facing charges as a probable 'co-conspirator' in a criminal spying case.

Now here's where it gets just a little too coincidental...a little too tit-for tat...what the DOJ is referring to happened back in 2009 and the Obama administration is suddenly bringing it to light now...bringing it to light to try and deflect attention away from the AP scandal...a scandal that might very well lead all the way back to the White House and its usurping occupant.

So in revenge...in an attempt to divert attention off Obama himself...this miserable administration is now trying to criminalize reporting...while trying to hide the fact that in the past this administration has used warrantless wiretapping and records seizures to identify who is talking to whom.

And while privacy laws and protections limit searching or seizing a reporter’s work, using the excuse 'but NOT when there's evidence that the journalist broke the law against unauthorized intelligence leaks', the DOJ got a federal judge (a liberal Democratic I'm sure) to sign off on a search warrant, and seized massive amounts of information about reporter James Rosen by claiming Rosen is, "at the very least, either an aider, abettor and/or co-conspirator" in a 2010 espionage case against State Department security adviser Stephen Jin-Woo Kim.

To date, Rosen has NOT yet been formally charged with a crime per se, but Kim, who handed over a classified government report to Rosen that said North Korea would probably test a nuclear weapon in response to a UN resolution condemning previous tests, was charged in 2010 with violating the Espionage Act of 1917, one of six cases in which the Obama administration began to use the first World War-era spying law to prosecute suspected government whistleblowers.

In other words Kim was a whistleblower, and any and all whitleblowers, and those who help them in going against the Obama administration, have always been targeted for revenge for one must NEVER criticize the 'anointed one' or his minions.

And what did Rosen do for the DOJ to label him a 'co-conspirator'...he simply reported the story and NOTHING more...reported it in an online article about US intelligence official warnings that North Korea would likely respond to US sanctions with additional nuclear tests.

Like that wasn't a given with the unstable man/child Kim Jong-un in control of North Korea...that really wasn't earth-shaking news or news that warranted the targeting of a reporter doing his job.

Addressing the charges, in a statement released yesterday, FOX News called these accusations 'downright chilling' after the actual details surfaced about the FBI obtaining a warrant, but a warrant in possible violation of regulations governing such seizures, and seized all of Rosen's correspondence with Kim, and also seized Rosen's phone records tracing the timing of his calls to Kim. They also used Rosen's government issued security badge access records to track his comings and goings to and from the State Department, and obtained an additional search warrant for Rosen's personal e-mails.

All this went way above and beyond what the DOJ did when they seized the AP's records, where they looked at phone records but NOT at the actual content of the e-mails...at least as far as we know or have been told.

But we really can't believe anything this administration tells us...now can we.

And all this was done to Rosen simply because the man was doing what reporters do...report...and reporting what the msm refuses to report...the truth.

So what the recent AP scandal and now this one with Rosen shows is that the actions of the out of control, Constitution-trampling Obama administration are raising serious concerns about the gag-order tactics placed on these types of investigations, denying the press their right under the First Amendment to exchange information between reporters and their sources unimpeded by government interference...for if sources cannot give information to reporters without fear of reprisal what is the alternative...the only alternative, the one Obama and his minions so desperately want is for the media to write and report what the government, meaning Obama, tells them to write and report.

And that is something 'We the People' can NEVER allow to happen.

Congress to Consider a bill Banning Abortions after Fifth Month of Pregnancy

Rep. Trent Franks of Arizona announced Friday afternoon that he will introduce a bill that would ban abortions after the fifth month of pregnancy (20 weeks after conception) nationwide--with exceptions for when the life or physical health of the mother is at risk.

Why 20 weeks? Franks's bill points out that the child in utero is very developed at that point. Medical science indicates that at 20 weeks, if not earlier, a baby can feel pain. Some infants born that early survive long-term.

"In June 2009, the Journal of the American Medical Association reported a Swedish series of over 300,000 infants," Dr. Colleen Malloy testified before Congress in 2012. "Survival to one year of life of live born infants at 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24 weeks postfertilization age was 10%, 53%, 67%, 82%, and 85%, respectively." So a law restricting abortion after 20 weeks would not run afoul of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy's dictate that abortion must not be restricted prior to "viability."

Treasury Secretary Asks Congress for Debt Increase..says it's, 'not open to debate'

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice."

"We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate."

Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation's deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation's debt cap.

The letter comes as the debt limit is set to take effect on Sunday, after being suspended for three months by Congress. The last time the nation approached its $16.4 trillion borrowing limit, lawmakers agreed to suspend the borrowing cap, and then to automatically raise it to cover borrowing subject to the limit that occurred during that three-month stretch.

IRS Scandal: Christian Groups were Targeted

...Even as the president was assuring the American people, more revelations were coming out about the extent of the targeting of organizations that could be broadly categorized as opposing the Obama agenda. Among the organizations the IRS investigated and audited were the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) and the 180-year-old Baptist newspaper the Biblical Recorder, published by the North Carolina Baptist State Convention. The IRS reportedly also targeted the humanitarian relief group Samaritan’s Purse. Both it and the BGEA are run by Franklin Graham, son of famed evangelical preacher Billy Graham.

In the run-up to last year’s presidential election, the BGEA took out ads in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and other newspapers encouraging Christians to vote in line with biblical values. Shortly after the ads were published, both the BGEA and Samaritan’s Purse were notified that they were being audited by the IRS.

On May 14 Franklin Graham shot off a letter to President Obama concerning the targeting of the organizations he oversees, telling the president that he believes “someone in the administration was targeting and attempting to intimidate us. This is morally wrong and unethical — indeed some would call it ‘un-American.’” Added Graham: “I do not believe that the IRS audit of our two organizations last year is a coincidence — or justifiable.”

It seems that the EPA Gives Preferential Treatment to Environmental Groups

Congressional Republicans have accused the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of giving unfair preference to environmental groups when it comes to information requests.

In a letter to Acting EPA Administrator Bob Perciasepe on Friday, four Republicans accused the agency of routinely waiving fees for environmental groups who seek documents under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) but making conservative think tanks and state and local governments pay full price.

"This disparate treatment is unacceptable, especially in light of the recent controversy over abusive tactics at the Internal Revenue Service, which singled out conservative groups for special scrutiny," the legislators wrote.

Sens. David Vitter (R-La.), Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) signed on to the letter.

The legislators pointed to data that show that 92 percent of all fee waivers granted by the EPA were to requests from environmental groups.

Higher-Ups Knew of IRS Case during the President's re-election Campaign

The Internal Revenue Service's watchdog told top Treasury officials around June 2012 he was investigating allegations the tax agency had targeted conservative groups, for the first time indicating that Obama administration officials were aware of the explosive matter in the midst of the president's re-election campaign.

The disclosure to the Treasury general counsel and the deputy secretary was a cursory one, according to J. Russell George, the Treasury inspector general for tax administration. He said he didn't reveal conclusions of the probe, which was in its early stages, and his disclosure came as part of a routine update to Treasury leaders. At the time, Republican lawmakers were complaining publicly about alleged IRS targeting of tea-party groups.

The revelation nonetheless raised a fresh set of questions about who was aware of the problem within the Obama administration. It was one of several new details that emerged during a contentious four-hour House committee hearing Friday, held one week after an IRS official revealed at a legal conference that the agency had taken "absolutely inappropriate" actions in targeting conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status for often heavy-handed scrutiny.

Why Does the DHS keep a Tight Lid on Illegal Border Crossing Data? Is the Data that Bad?

Security along the U.S. border with Mexico is perhaps the key factor in the debate over comprehensive immigration reform. Those who believe the border is mostly secure already are more inclined to support the plan of the bipartisan Gang of Eight in the Senate -- legalization first, followed by enhanced security. Those who believe the border is still far from secure are more likely to oppose the Gang of Eight's approach, insisting that heightened security measures be in place before the nation's estimated 11 million illegal immigrants are legalized.

Now, a new report from the Council on Foreign Relations could have a significant effect on the conversation -- and cast real doubt on whether the government's border security statistics are reliable. If the report is correct, more illegal immigrants are making it past U.S. authorities than officials say. And just as important, the report suggests it is nearly impossible to have an informed debate about border security because the government does not reveal the most basic information about illegal border crossings.

"The Department of Homeland Security releases only a single output number: the total arrests, or apprehensions, made by Border Patrol agents of unauthorized crossers in the vicinity of the border," the authors write. "Such basic questions as the apprehension rate for unauthorized crossers or the estimated number of successful illegal entries cannot be answered simply by counting arrest totals."

A House version of the Immigration Bill begins to Emerge

Illegal immigrants could become citizens in 15 years under legislation being drafted by a bipartisan group of House lawmakers, a timeline two years longer than under a similar Senate bill.

The timeline was one of the few specifics to emerge Friday from an "agreement in principle'' that a so-called gang of eight House lawmakers struck Thursday evening on a broad overhaul of immigration laws. Details that trickled out suggested that the House plan would diverge in some important areas from a bipartisan Senate bill, differences that House Republicans said would make the plan more palatable to their GOP colleagues.

"Our bill has a better chance of passing the House than the Senate bill," Rep. John Carter (R., Texas) said Friday.

Both the House and Senate plans would make the 11 million illegal immigrants already living in the U.S. wait 10 years before being eligible for permanent legal status, also known as a green card. But under the House plan, it would take an additional five years to become a citizen, as it generally does under current law. The Senate bill would shorten that to three years.

Israel...caught between the US v. Russia in Syria

While we’re all focused on the ‘Trifeta of Scandals’ as well we should be, lets NOT forget all that’s happening in the Middle East because to do so…to look away…might come back to haunt us in the end.

Just a few days ago, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu (how I wish that man was our president) said while meeting with German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle, “Today the Middle East is undergoing a period of tremendous and unprecedented instability”…. I follow closely, day and night, the rapidly changing situation around us. I follow closely the very real challenges that this rapidly changing situation poses for the security of Israel. I will travel to where ever needed; I will meet with whoever is needed and I’m doing whatever is needed to protect the security of the citizens of Israel, and I will continue to do so.”

This statement was in response to a recent interview in Argentina’s Clarin newspaper where Syrian President Bashar Assad said,“Israel is directly supporting the terrorist groups in two ways…Firstly it gives them logistical support, and it also tells them what sites to attack and how to attack them…For example, they attacked a radar station that is part of our anti-aircraft defenses, which can detect any plane coming from overseas, especially from Israel.”

NO they are NOT for the problem with Assad’s thinking is simply that Israel has NO interest in toppling Assad’s government as Israel has the sense to know that the rebels are being aided and funded by al-Qaeda…meaning Iran…the very country that has sworn to wipe them off the map. And in NO way would Netanyahu ever deal with or aid and abet the enemy…something Barack HUSSEIN Obama does on a daily basis.

And now Russia has once again entered into the mix…NOT that they ever really left…and in a show of outward support for Assad, Russia has sent advanced anti-ship cruise missiles to Syria, even after Netanyahu recently met with Russian President Putin to ask him not to arm Syria with those missiles, Putin did it anyway. These Yakhont missiles can reach a distance of over 180 miles (well into Israel) and are equipped with an advanced radar anti-ship missile system that would allow Assad to hold off a naval embargo or a no-fly zone placed on his country. Adding to this is that each missile has its own individual radar to help evade a ship’s defense system and they're mobile, making them difficult to target and take out.

Also to stir up the pot even more, Russia has sent a dozen warships to patrol waters near its Syrian naval base, hoping that sends a powerful message to the US and Israel NOT to get involved in Syria's affairs.

And Israel knows very well that the weapons Russia supplies to Assad could very well end up in the wrong hands, and be used against them by the very rebels Assad accuses Israel of aiding.

These developments led Israeli Justice Minister Tzipi Livni to tell Israel’s Army Radio that “These are not just any weapons, they are tie-breakers, and that’s why there is a responsibility with all world powers, certainly Russia, not to supply such arms,” adding that Israel had the right to defend itself.

And the US response to Putin sending those missiles to Syria was that it could embolden Assad’s forces and prolong the conflict. “It’s at the very least an unfortunate decision that will embolden the regime and prolong the suffering, so it’s ill-timed and very unfortunate,” said General Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

A response that is just talk…just words…just more Obama empty rhetoric.

Netanyhu’s response was more direct and to the point as he made it very clear that Israel will prevent advanced weapons from being sent from Syria to Hezbollah in Lebanon. Saying, “The Israeli government is acting in a responsible, determined and level-headed manner in order to guarantee the safety of the citizens of Israel,”…”in accordance with the policy we have set of preventing as much as possible the transfer of advanced weapons to Hezbollah. We will continue to guarantee Israel’s security interests,” he reiterated.

As we know he will.

But the simple fact that Assad just doesn’t get is that Israel has NO interest or intention in getting involved in Syria’s civil war and would only attack as a last resort, as in if Syria crossed Israel’s ‘red line’ regarding a weapons transfer to Hezzbolah. And this is why Israel recently bombed a weapons storage facility in Damascus, because their intelligence reports indicated the facility housed advanced missiles with the ability to hit Tel Aviv, and that they were ready to be transferred to Hezbollah. And while Assad said he would retaliate and issued a statement through Syrian information minister, Omran al-Zoubi, saying that his troops have the right to enter the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights whenever they wish in response to those air strikes, it does NOT appear to be happening as Israeli intelligence does NOT show Assad having moved any weapons or forces anywhere near the area. And Assad might be hesitant to open yet another front against Israel with his army already stretched thin in his fight with the rebels.

So while on the surface al-Zoubi's statement appears as just a veiled threat to Israel to stay out of Syria’s conflict and nothing more, it’s important to remember that Assad has a history of operating through proxies, such as Hezbollah and other radical Syrian-based Palestinian factions, that could very well launch attacks on Israel from the Golan Heights.

But, and this is critical for both Russia and Assad to remember, Israel stands by its ‘red lines’ and this ups the game and makes Israel a force to be reckoned with for Israel will NOT go down like a sheep to the slaughter at the hands of Syria, Russia, or her assorted other enemies.

A US/Russian planned peace conference is scheduled for next month but will most likely amount to NOTHING, as the rebels insist on a promise that Assad will step down and Assad insisting he does NOT negotiate with terrorists, which is what he calls the rebels. So the fighting will continue and Israel will still be on the fringe of the fighting, waiting to be drawn into a war they really want NO part of.

And our muslim sympathizing, anti-Israel president Barack HUSSEIN Obama is seriously considering getting us involved in Syria’s civil war by arming the al-Qaeda supported rebels, and former National Security Adviser, retired Marine General James Jones agrees, showing just how far we’ve fallen under this administration...fallen so far that we would even consider arming a group with ties to al-Qaeda.

Nothing like going against Russia and stabbing Israel in the bank in one fell swoop but this is classic Obama and could very well come back to haunt him, for the ghosts of four Americans hang over both Benghazi and his already illegally done (in my opinion) gun running operation to Syria as well.

Could scandal number 4 be just around the corner…

Home Intruders weren't happy when the owner of the home chose to 'Come Out of the Closet' while they were there

hahahaha...got your attention..didn't I. No, this isn't one of those stories. Although One of the intruders probably wishes it was:

Houston police said a home invasion suspect ended up hospitalized when he and his cohorts forced a resident into the closet where he kept his gun.

Police said three men kicked in the front door of the home around 2 p.m. Tuesday and attacked a resident who lives in the house with his parents, the Houston Chronicle reported Wednesday.

The man waited in the closet until he thought the men had left and emerged armed with his gun, said Sgt. Jerri Brandon of the Houston Police Department. The man encountered one of the suspects downstairs and the pair exchanged gunfire.

We shouldn't be surprised at the IRS Anti-Conservative actions when we look at the Liberal Union Behind Them

“My question is who is going to jail?” ~ House Speaker John Boehner on the IRS Scandal

The President couldn’t even bring himself to breathe a word of the truth.

He could fire some hapless Acting Commissioner, but last night Mr. Obama never came close to discussing that which must never be discussed.

The IRS?

It’s about a union: the National Treasury Employees Union. The NTEU. A left-wing union representing 150,000 employees in 31 separate government agencies, including the IRS. A union that not only endorsed President Obama for election and re-election, but a union whose current president, Colleen Kelly, was a 14-year IRS agent and now is both union president and Obama administration appointee (of which more in a moment).

It’s about 94% of NTEU union contributions going to Democrats in the Senate and House in 2012 — candidates who campaigned as vociferous opponents of the Tea Party.

And the recently released report from the Treasury Inspector General? You will not find a single reference to the NTEU. Whose members are both player and referee in the exploding controversy over the IRS targeting of conservative groups.

Which raises the obvious question: how many NTEU members were involved in the writing of the Inspector General’s report?

Even more to the point, what contact — what coordination — has the Obama White House had with their allies in the NTEU leadership as both the White House and the NTEU race to get on top of a scandal that is rapidly engulfing both?

Did I mention that the NTEU has no comment on all of this? And that when President Obama went in front of cameras to make his statement on the IRS scandal — he never once mentioned his very powerful union buddies that have the run of the IRS? Right down to the control of who gets a Blackberry? Literally.

Let’s first see how the IRS/NTEU game with the Tea Party and conservatives is played, shall we?
