The government is setting up illegal migrant camps for fighting-age men from some of the West’s greatest recent enemies and yet is surprised when its military bases come under internal attack from within.

Over the weekend, the Pentagon ordered all U.S. Air Force B-1 bombers to be urgently evacuated from a Royal Air Force (RAF) base in the once-peaceful countryside of England called RAF Fairford, where they had previously been stationed, and flown back home to America. Why? Because England is no longer considered a safe country for such expensive pieces of kit to be kept in.

Prior to the B-1s being withdrawn, RAF Fairford appeared to be the target of an attempted Iranian-backed terror attack. In the early hours of Sept. 27, a female farmer spotted men clad in balaclavas gathered around white vans near the airbase perimeter. Iran had already made open threats against RAF Fairford, promising revenge for its ongoing role in launching U.S. strikes against Tehran. Naturally, the farmer called the special military-police phone number to report suspicious activity. Equally naturally, this being Great Britain in 2026, nobody answered.

Authorities arrested five men, and a bomb disposal robot searched the vehicles — the initial assumption being explosives were hidden inside — although investigators later assured the public this was not the case; they were just barrels, at least one containing fuel, which possess zero explosive qualities at all. As of now, the general theory is that the suspects were paid by Iran to act as proxies to sabotage the base, or test out its security. Tehran has called this idea “Iranophobia.”

Whatever the men were, the extraordinary decision was quickly made to grant them all bail. President Donald Trump said that choice “surprised” him and he wouldn’t have released the men. Meanwhile, around the same time the potential bombers were being released, a white anti-immigration campaigner was receiving two years behind bars for the far more severe “crime” of tossing a plastic bottle into the air in protest at all the Iranian terrorists being allowed into the country. It’s no wonder Trump withdrew his planes, is it?

Investigations continue, and nobody fully knows what truly happened here yet, least of all, one suspects, the relevant U.K. authorities. The latest speculation from U.S. officials is that Iran may possibly have been planning a drone attack. What we can say with absolute certainty, however, is that the whole fiasco exposes just how rickety the entire British national security infrastructure is now perceived to be, by allies and foes alike.

There are several joint U.S.-U.K. military airbases across England, dating back to the Cold War, when the country still controlled its borders properly and enemies within were fairly scarce. As a result, external security is often surprisingly poor, consisting of little more than simple chain-link fences.

If Iran really wanted to damage U.S. planes, it would probably be far easier to do it using paid illegal immigrant proxies in England than surface-to-air missiles over the Gulf of Hormuz. British RAF bases have been easily breached beforehand by criminals no more sophisticated than keffiyeh-loving middle-class student-types. Only last year, a ragtag rabble from the left-wing activist mob Palestine Action easily managed to break into RAF Brize Norton, damaging military refueling aircraft by spray-painting them red. At least two vandals breached security whilst riding e-scooters.

The pro-Hamas vandals only had paint. Actual imported Hamas members could have had nitroglycerin. So seriously do the powers-that-be take security at RAF Brize Norton that, following the attack, the BBC broadcast an actual guide effectively educating evil-doers how best to break in there! (Just look for “weaker spots, perhaps covered in foliage” with “slightly smaller fences, no barbed wire,” advised the helpful reporter.)

At the same RAF base in 2023, a pointless queer DEI hire Estates Facilities Manager called Sara Hayes installed the first gay-friendly RAF “rainbow crossing.” She evidently felt protecting visiting trans-identifying individuals from being run over by passing aircrews was far more important than ensuring that certain lengths of the perimeter fencing were not obscured from sentries’ beady eyes by excessive “foliage.” The base’s then-overall commander was a mere HR lady posing as a soldier, who has in the past complained that “personality traits such as patriotism and bravery are viewed as desirable within the military.” --->READ MORE HERE

Democrats Revive Nullification With Refusals To Assist Federal Immigration Enforcement:

What a state cannot be permitted to do is transform a policy disagreement into an exercise of state power to nullify federal authority.

New York’s “Local Cops, Local Crimes Act” is being sold as a public-safety measure. Its premise, however, reaches far beyond the question of how local police should allocate their time. The law forbids New York’s local governments and law-enforcement agencies from continuing or entering into agreements with the federal government under Section 287(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1996, and it declares existing agreements void and unenforceable under state law.
That matters because Congress expressly created Section 287(g) to permit the federal government to enter into mutually beneficial written agreements with states and political subdivisions that allow qualified state or local officials to perform specific immigration-related functions. New York’s new law therefore is not merely a declaration that Albany will decline to participate in a federal initiative in the future. It expressly commands local entities to terminate and abandon existing federal agreements.

Fifteen New York sheriffs have sued in federal court to challenge the statute. Bourgault v. Hochul was filed on Aug. 25, 2026, the ban’s effective date. The plaintiffs seek emergency relief arguing that the state has unlawfully interfered with federally authorized agreements and with the authority of locally elected sheriffs to make law enforcement decisions for their counties. The case is still pending.

The constitutional stakes are straightforward to describe, even if the ultimate legal answer is not. The supremacy clause makes the federal Constitution and valid federal laws “the supreme Law of the Land.” This means that federal law takes precedence over contrary or conflicting state law. Federal preemption doctrine accordingly prevents a state from enforcing its own law when that law conflicts with federal laws or obstructs the execution of federal objectives, especially in a field such as immigration where Congress has enacted a comprehensive enforcement scheme.

But there is a complication that should not be overlooked. The federal statute says that the functions performed by participating states or local officers must be carried out “to the extent consistent with State and local law.” That language gives New York a plausible argument that Congress contemplated state-law limits — albeit, probably not outright bans — on participation.

There is also a contract clause question. The U.S. Constitution commands that no state shall pass a “Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts.” The Supreme Court’s modern contract clause analysis asks whether the challenged law substantially impairs a contractual relationship and, if so, whether the impairment is justified by a significant and legitimate public purpose and is reasonable and appropriate to that purpose.

New York’s law does not merely regulate a future contract. In apparent violation of the contract clause, it unreasonably tells local entities that they must leave existing 287(g) agreements and provides that those agreements are “void and unenforceable,” thus impairing the sheriffs’ reciprocal contractual obligations with the federal government.

New York’s Constitution makes its county sheriffs locally elected officers. While this does not necessarily establish unlimited sheriff autonomy, it makes the plaintiffs’ arguments about elected local law enforcement discretion more than rhetorical flourishes, especially given that the ironically named “Local Cops, Local Crimes Act” actually bars county sheriffs from using their discretion regarding how best to protect their local citizens from illegal immigrants’ criminal behavior. Thus, the dispute centers on whether Albany may retroactively overturn policy choices made by independently elected sheriffs to work with the federal government based on their first-hand knowledge of the unique public safety needs of their constituencies.

The state may respond that under Supreme Court precedent, the federal government cannot “commandeer” — that is to say, enlist — state or local officials to enforce federal law. It will argue that its law merely directs how its political subdivisions may use state-created governmental authority and resources.

The plaintiffs, however, will reply with their own “reverse-commandeering” argument, which appears in their complaint. In part, it alleges, “When a State coerces local officials into abandoning the very cooperative mechanisms Congress authorized, it does not merely regulate its own internal affairs. It commandeers those officials into a regime of obstruction that frustrates the federal scheme.” The state’s argument does not answer the questions of whether a state may regulate the federal government itself, or, as in this case, invalidate federal/local contractual arrangements authorized by and implementing federal law.

A closely related case in Virginia makes New York’s lawsuit particularly timely. On Aug. 31, 2026, Senior U.S. District Judge Robert Payne blocked key portions of a Virginia law that would have imposed new conditions on existing 287(g) agreements. The court concluded that the federal government was likely to prevail on its contract clause and supremacy clause theories, while leaving in place a prohibition forbidding localities that had not already done so from entering the 287(g) program. --->READ MORE HERE

Alarming reports have circulated about U.S. Muslim leaders advocating Sharia implementation, where their “speeches reveal calls to replace American legal system with Islamic governance and expand Muslim representation in Congress.” According to polls, 40% of the Muslim population in the U.S. would support the implementation of Sharia. But a new poll finds a disturbing trend among young Americans, that they support the Sharia in even greater numbers than Muslims themselves. “Poll: 4 In 10 Young Americans Support Sharia Law,” by Sarah Lee, The Federalist, October 6, 2026:
A set of polls released this week by Our Republic and Rasmussen show a concerning trend among American youth, especially in light of recently revealed immigration numbers under Biden: A quarter of 18-35 voters polled would support a community implementing Sharia law as the legal code for the entire town, city, or state if the majority of residents living there desired its adoption.

Additionally, according to the Our Republic poll:

Overall, 21% of likely voters said they have a mostly or somewhat positive opinion of sharia, compared with 57% who have a negative opinion. Positive views were much higher among younger Americans, including 43% of voters ages 18–24 and 39% of those ages 25–29.

The reason American youth may be trending this way, according to Justin Haskins, president of Our Republic, is a lack of understanding about the “value [of] the Constitution and the protections it provides.”

“Too many have been taught to see constitutional limits as obstacles to progress, especially when those limits stand in the way of policies they believe would help groups they view as oppressed,” Haskins says. “Because Muslims are widely perceived by young people as an oppressed or marginalized group, I suspect many default to a sympathetic view of policies associated with Islam without seriously considering whether those policies are compatible with constitutional freedoms. The irony is that, in doing so, they may be undermining the very rights they claim to care about.”…

That the Muslim population as a whole would support the Sharia even less than the general American population among America’s youngest voters is a staggering find. A Pew poll also found that 44% of Muslim Americans view Hamas favorably, which reveals a great deal. When phrased differently, Pew found that half of U.S. Muslims justify “valid” Hamas reasons to fight Israel; meanwhile, a Harvard CAPS-Harris poll found that 60% of young U.S. voters supported Hamas over Israel. It is significant that the Palestinian “resistance” has now found a comfortable home under the DEI framework among student activists, as well as increasingly among unions, and among powerful progressive organizations such as the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), Center for American Progress (CAP), Our Revolution, MoveOn and Working Families Party (WFP).

Given that the Sharia is regarded as divine law in Islam, the question of whether the Muslims who are being polled are being forthright about their support for the Sharia is highly relevant. Islamic supremacists understand all too well the tense tug-of-war in the West over establishing the Sharia, and are adept at stealth manipulation, as powerful Islamic lobbies, most of which are connected to Muslim Brotherhood, wage an insidious war from within. The “Islamophobia” subterfuge is an example of this. This covert tactic has proven to be the most sophisticated and useful strategy in weakening the West from within, as it promotes Muslim victimhood, exploits the woke (especially vulnerable youth), and intentionally conceals the truth about Islam, which is proven over 1,400 years.

Youngsters have been inundated with woke messaging and propaganda about Islam in schools and on campuses. They are taught that Islam is a religion of peace; they have internalized the big lie that the Palestinian “resistance” is one of human rights, instead of the stark truth that it is simply the age-old jihad against Jews and the State of Israel. They seem to be deaf and blind to the obvious intentions of the “globalize the intifada” movement that even the late Ayatollah Khamenei congratulated American youth for advancing.

The Palestinian “resistance” is part of a larger Islamic movement, yet knowledge of this completely escapes far too many of America’s youth (and the woke at large), who themselves feel empowered in defending an illusion of victimhood. They are so deeply affected by a mass psychosis in an age of viral upticks that they have lost the power of reasoning. It does not occur to them to investigate how the Sharia treats gays, women, female children (FGM and forced into child marriage) and kafirs in general. Nor do they look back at history for evidence. With the pompousness of youth, and their own insecurities driving them, they latch onto any popular cause that they believe will engender popularity and belongingness, and they run with it.

Generation Alpha (born between 2013 to 2024) and Generation Z (born between 1997 to 2012) struggle with knowledge, despite the incalculable magnitude of the global digital datasphere, available at one click or touch. For instance, findings of the CATO institute show a dismal level of knowledge among youth. Most among Gen Z cannot answer questions including: Who has the final say, the president or Supreme Court? Why did America declare independence? What is the main purpose of the U.S. Constitution? What does America’s 250th commemorate? From which country did we declare independence? And only half knew how many branches of government there are.
The younger generation feels more than it thinks, and we owe that to a severely inept public education system, and indoctrination camps we call “colleges” and “universities,” where DEI has hijacked a once-functional system with a kind of ideological overreach that has severely compromised academic standards, freedom of thought and expression, and plain common sense. --->READ MORE HERE

The urgency of turning around this destructive trend.

The Beatles told us: “All you need is love.”

They were right, but along with love must come marriage.

But marriage rates have plummeted, especially among young men.

A Pulitzer Prize-worthy story by Sean Salai of The Washington Times crunches all the numbers. To say they are worrisome would be a vast understatement.

— In 2025, nearly twice as many men ages 18 to 39 were unmarried as were married.

— There were 30.4 million unmarried men ages 18 to 39 in 2025, up 47% from 20.7 million in 2000.

— In the same period, married men in this age range dropped by 15%, from 18.1 million to 15.4 million. “Such men are more likely to be lonely, prone to deaths of despair and unhappy,” according to Brad Wilcox, a University of Virginia sociologist.

— Forty-two percent of working-class men are unmarried, according to educational psychologist Donna R. Turner. In 1980, 73% of working-class men were married.

I could go on and with these depressing statistics. But I believe the decline in marriage and children is a threat to the American future much more dangerous than even the national debt, climate change, cancer or foreign aggression.

Family is the essential organizing unit in America. We’re not to live in Soviet-style communes where the authority figure is “Big Brother.”

Every study shows that the decline in marriage among young men is tied to alcoholism, violent crime, drug abuse, pornography, depression, isolation, less economic success and suicide.

Young men look at dating culture and see women who are prepared to choose husbands but less prepared to become wives.

There are now roughly 30.4 million unmarried American men between the ages of 20 and 39, nearly twice the number of married men in the same cohort. The predictable explanation is that men are to blame. Pornography, gaming, delayed adulthood, declining ambition, fear of commitment, social awkwardness, the manosphere, and economic stagnation all make the list of reasons. But after years of dissecting so-called “toxic masculinity,” perhaps it is time to ask what has toxic femininity done to the modern woman? Have women today become poor prospects for marriage?

That honest question may sound inflammatory because our culture has spent decades teaching women to evaluate men while treating reciprocal scrutiny as sexism. Women are encouraged to identify red flags, examine a man’s income, ambition, temperament, sexual habits, emotional intelligence, politics, attachment style, relationship with his mother, willingness to provide, and potential as a father. This is considered discernment, rightly so. Men, however, are increasingly discovering that asking similarly consequential questions about women’s character invites accusations of insecurity, misogyny, or an inability to “handle” independent women.

The frustration becomes easier to understand when you look at the culture young men are actually encountering. Social media tells women to know their worth, never settle, protect their peace, trust the ick, establish another boundary, identify the narcissist, and treat independence as a prerequisite for emotional health. Cosmopolitan recently described the practice of “decentering men” as a rejection of organizing women’s lives around male approval and the so-called patriarchy, while Psychology Today has promoted a model of “decentering men” built around preserving autonomy and identity while dating.

Of course, no woman should build her identity entirely around whether a man chooses her, and no one should remain in an abusive relationship for the sake of saying she has one. But the cumulative message is more radical than its internet virality. A culture built around protecting the self from imposition will eventually produce people who regard the obligation of duty itself with suspicion. Marriage, however, is almost entirely made of obligations. A husband will interfere with your preferences. Children will obliterate your schedule. Family will demand money, time, patience, forgiveness, dependence, and sacrifice precisely when self-actualization would be easier.

This is one reason so many young men look at today’s dating culture and see women who are prepared to choose husbands but less prepared to become wives.

The Lindsay Clancy trial let the cat out of the bag. What disturbed many young men was the intensity of identification with the woman who killed three children. They watched social media turn the case into another story about systems failing women; they watched TikTok conspiracy theories baselessly implicate Patrick Clancy in the children’s deaths; and some users went so far as to invoke zodiac signs while attempting to redirect suspicion toward Patrick. Some men began looking at their own girlfriends and asking an uncomfortable question: Can this woman become the mother of my future children?

The Clancy response exposed what years of discussion about “toxic masculinity” have conspicuously avoided: femininity can become toxic too. We have no difficulty admitting that masculine virtues require discipline. Yet feminine instincts are routinely treated differently. Empathy can become indulgence. Vulnerability can become a mechanism for escaping accountability. Emotional sensitivity can become manipulation. Social intelligence can become reputational warfare and exclusion. Female solidarity can become the instinct to identify with another woman before asking whether she is right. Compassion can become so detached from judgment that the person presenting the greatest emotional suffering becomes the presumed victim even when actual victims are lying dead.

Feminist ideology adds another layer. For decades, women have been trained to interpret their lives through systems of so-called oppression: patriarchy, unequal emotional labor, reproductive burdens, workplace discrimination, male violence, and expectations surrounding motherhood. The woman is increasingly understood first as someone acted upon rather than someone who acts, which means her failures are explained environmentally while male failures remain evidence of character. --->READ MORE HERE

The UK’s Southampton Times reported Sunday that “four coaches of illegal small boat migrants leave Gosport Haslar Marina flanked by police motorbike outriders and a heavy procession of vans and cars.” That’s roughly 400 new migrants. Most, if not all, of them are Muslims from North Africa, coming to Britain because the Labour government is so generous with the benefits it lavishes on new arrivals, courtesy of the longsuffering British taxpayers.

Breitbart reported Sunday that “the tens of thousands of illegal migrants flooding across the English Channel know that on arrival they will be given free accommodation, free food, free phones, free legal aid, free health benefits and free clothes, all funded by hard-working British taxpayers.”

Internal Government figures show officials have been handing out 162 Muslim headscarves to so-called "asylum seekers" every month.

Home Office data unearthed by the Mail shows that between January and June, 974 hijabs were given to small boat migrants.

If that rate has continued, the total will have almost reached 1,500 by today.

A Home Office source told the newspaper it had a legal duty to provide basic clothing, including cultural and religious items, under the Short-term Holding Facility Rules.

The rules also say that migrants' cultural and religious needs "must be catered for so far as is practicable" when they stay at places like the Manston processing centre in Kent.

The source added: "All arrivals receive a basic dry clothing pack where required. The items available form part of standard welfare arrangements."

Reform UK MP Andrew Rosindell told GB News: "I don't know why we should be giving these people anything.

Thom Tillis, Who Has Accomplished Nothing, Thinks He’s The Most Important Man In America:

Tillis should be falling over himself to please his voters, not sell them on his self-proclaimed GOP stardom

Americans have known since summer 2025 that Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., planned to jump ship from the Senate. It was his recent leap across the Senate subway track that affirmed the best place for him is anywhere but Congress.
Okay the jump itself was not that problematic. To some, including 60 Minutes interviewer Ross Douthat, Tillis’ bounce from one people mover platform to another could even be considered an impressive feat for a 66-year-old man. What’s not impressive is that Tillis’ little stunt was the hardest he’s worked in months.

Even worse, Tillis only did it in a 60 Minutes interview in an effort to promote his new book, which vilifies his party leader, effective Republicans, and the conservative voters who elected them.

“In the second Trump administration, though, there’s been too little legislative work for an energetic senator,” CBS’ Ross Douthat claimed.

Notably missing from this description is that the reason the GOP trifecta controlling the federal government can’t seem to get anything done is because the Republican Senate and Sen. Thom Tillis specifically have proved to be an obstacle to one of President Donald Trump’s biggest legislative priorities: the SAVE America Act.

The accompanying CBS article and 60 Minutes segment aren’t much better. In addition to fawning over Tillis’ hops, Douthat and his co-writers uncritically accept that the 2026 “Doggi Gras Pawrade” pioneer’s career is defined by him walking the “tightrope” between criticizing Trump and wanting the president to “succeed.”

Tillis provides no evidence to back that claim and CBS doesn’t ask for it.

Never mind that it was Tillis who helped the Senate GOP stall the SAVE America Act against Trump’s will, tanked Trump’s D.C. attorney pick and then hid from his role, scrambled to salvage Democrats’ green energy bailouts, tried to entrench Obamacare’s taxes on health, attempted to give amnesty to illegal aliens, and whined about JD Vance’s America First foreign policy. As Federalist Staff Writer Shawn Fleetwood previously documented, Tillis also insulted his voters by supporting bills that rewrote the definition of marriage, gave Democrats some of their gun control wants, allowed trans-identifying individuals in the military, mad women eligible for the draft, and threw taxpayer money at Ukraine. And he did so without remorse.

“Sometimes those bipartisan initiatives got me into trouble with my own party, but I wouldn’t have changed a single one,” Tillis wrote in his June 2025 retirement statement.
Instead, the North Carolinian expressed regret to CBS at confirming Trump’s cabinet, most specifically Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. Tillis also droned on about the danger of a “dictator king” and spent a significant part of the interview on the “despicable” January 6, 2021 Capitol chaos. At one point, Tillis claimed without evidence that Trump supporters might riot if president-backed candidates lose their midterm elections.

“The only difference between me and a lotta people that call themselves true conservatives is I got a long list of things that were ratified and they don’t,” Tillis told CBS. --->READ MORE HERE

Replacing Columbus Day With ‘Indigenous Peoples’ Day’ Is An Attack On America:

The promotion of Indigenous Peoples’ Day has never been neutral or dispassionate. It is part of a broader ideological program to remake our great nation.

Democrat Sen. Martin Heinrich and 14 of his Senate colleagues recently introduced a new resolution declaring their support for designating the second Monday of October, currently the federal holiday of Columbus Day, as “Indigenous Peoples’ Day.”
Although the sponsors of S. Res. 900 seem very purposefully to refrain from expressly condemning Columbus Day, this resolution is anything but politically neutral, explicitly describing Western contact in the New World as resulting in “suppression, forced assimilation, and genocide of Indigenous Peoples.” And with that, S. Res. 900 gives the game away as yet another Democrat attempt to erase American culture in favor of a new, woke, anti-West civilization. Rather than choose literally any other day of the year, its advocates selected Columbus Day as part of a broader campaign to redefine who and what we as Americans celebrate.

A Holiday Obviously Intended to Replace

The resolution’s sponsors, including Democrat notables Elizabeth Warren, Tim Kaine, Adam Schiff, and Cory Booker, acknowledge that some cities and states still recognize the holiday, which has been celebrated in the United States since 1792 and officially became a federal holiday in 1971. They seek to justify their proposal by noting that Indigenous Peoples’ Day is widespread, with more than “200 municipalities, 17 states, and the District of Columbia” already observing or recognizing it. Left out of that comment is that in many of these locations, such as Maine, Vermont, New Mexico, and D.C., Columbus Day was replaced by Indigenous Peoples’ Day, with all mention of that “villain” Columbus excised from their calendars.

Moreover, the co-sponsors add, Columbus Day “does not currently provide an opportunity to reflect on the stories and perseverance of the Indigenous Peoples of the lands that are now part of the United States.” That’s a curious (if not disingenuous) assertion, given that Columbus Day wasn’t established to exclude anyone, but to honor a daring 15th- and 16th-century explorer who is singularly responsible for bringing the Old World and New World into contact with one another, thereby facilitating the circumstances that led to the establishment of the American colonies and the United States. To complain that Columbus Day doesn’t provide an opportunity to honor indigenous peoples is a bit like complaining that Independence Day doesn’t expressly honor the contributions of blacks who suffered slavery.

All of this makes it obvious that continued efforts to redefine the second Monday of October as Indigenous Peoples’ Day isn’t simply about honoring a certain group. Rather, the focus on Columbus Day is a classic example of damnatio memoriae, the ancient Roman practice of dishonoring disgraced rulers after their death by removing their names from inscriptions, destroying their portraits and statues, and posthumously stripping them of honors.

Columbus Has Always Been Integral to American Identity

Now, some folks may ask: “So what?” Christopher Columbus, after all, was not an American, and he predates the founding of our country by centuries. He was not an outspoken advocate for such ideals as liberty, freedom of speech or religion, or representative government that we associate with the fundamentals of American identity. He was an Italian Catholic who hoped the riches he sought in the Far East would fund Catholic military efforts in the Old World to deter and even defeat encroaching Islamic powers such as the Ottomans.

Yet Columbus, from very early in American history, was identified as an integral component of our nation’s self-understanding. It was he who exhibited a remarkable creativity and courage in seeking to broaden the West’s horizons, and, though he did not seem to realize it even at his death, Columbus’ efforts dramatically reshaped world history. As early as 1791, what is now Washington, D.C., was being called the “Territory of Columbia,” in his honor.

Over the course of our nation’s history, Columbus took on additional meaning with waves of Italian immigrants who shared his ethnic heritage. President Benjamin Harrison in 1892 issued a proclamation for the 400th anniversary of Columbus “sailing the ocean blue,” which was in part intended as a conciliatory gesture to Italian Americans following anti-Italian violence in New Orleans. Italian immigrants embraced the holiday, as did many other Catholic immigrants, including Blessed Fr. Michael J. McGivney, who in 1882 founded the Knights of Columbus, a fraternal organization that today claims millions of members and is involved in literally millions of hours of volunteering and community service every year.

The Federalist has assembled a list of the biggest 2026 ballot initiatives to help inform voters of what’s at stake this election season.

The 2026 midterm elections have arrived, and with them, some of the biggest policy battles in the country. In addition to hotly contested races among candidates, many voters are being asked to weigh in on pivotal statewide ballot initiatives that will govern the future of their states.
While too numerous to list in one article, The Federalist has compiled the biggest measures on the 2026 ballot to help inform voters of what’s at stake this election season.

Abortion

In Idaho, state law criminalizes abortion except in cases of documented rape, incest, or danger to a mother’s life. Proposition 1 seeks to create a vague “right to reproductive freedom and privacy” for “every person.” The ballot measure would redefine “medical emergency,” allow anyone — not just licensed health care providers — to perform abortions, and remove punishment for those who perform abortions. Opponents of Prop 1 warn that its expanded definition of fetal viability could “block lifesaving care” for babies born prematurely and open the door for “painful, late-term abortions.”

In Nevada, voters already supported a ballot question to enshrine unlimited abortion in their state constitution in 2024 after left-wing activists flooded their ballot measure battles with dark money. In accordance with state law, however, voters must reexamine and approve Question 6 again in 2026 for a “fundamental right to an abortion” to be adopted. Abortion in Nevada is currently permitted at any point of pregnancy as long as “the physician has reasonable cause to believe an abortion is necessary to preserve the life or health of the pregnant person.”

In Virginia, Constitutional Amendment Question 1 was pitched to commonwealth voters as a means to protect their freedom to make decisions about “prenatal care, childbirth, postpartum care, birth control, abortion, miscarriage management, and fertility care.” In reality, if passed, Question 1 enshrines underage abortions by unlicensed butchers, surrogacy, transgenderism, and unlimited abortion until birth in the state constitution.

As Jordan Sekulow, the executive director of the American Center for Law and Justice, recently noted, the Virginia ballot might claim that third-trimester restrictions “could apply unless the patient’s ‘health is at risk,'” but “the actual constitutional language specifically protects abortions that a physician determines are medically indicated to protect the woman’s ‘physical or mental health’ — an extremely broad standard.”

Meanwhile, Missouri voters will consider Amendment 3, which seeks to repeal the state’s recent pro-abortion constitutional amendment passed by voters. The first Amendment 3, a controversial and legally questionable “right to reproductive freedom,” narrowly passed in November 2024, 51.6 percent to 48.4 percent. Activists quickly weaponized the sweeping language to target parental consent protections for minors seeking to abort a baby, which requires parental permission or an explicit judicial override under Missouri law.

The 2026 election’s Amendment 3 asks Missourians to repeal the 2024 constitutional amendment. The text also clarifies exceptions for abortions and, in an effort to counter disinformation, confirms treatment for “miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies, and other medical emergencies” is not prohibited. Amendment 3 also “prohibits gender transition surgeries and the prescription of cross-sex hormones or puberty-blocking drugs to minors.”

Elections

In Alaska (Measure 3), Arizona (Proposition 144), Arkansas (Issue 1), Kansas, South Dakota (Amendment J), and West Virginia, voters will be asked to consider measures specifying that only qualified U.S. citizens may vote in their respective elections. The Arizona amendment also includes a requirement that voters show an approved form of ID to vote, a ban on foreign national money in elections, and a guaranteed right for voters to have their ballot tabulated at their voting location on Election Day.

Arizona is hardly the only state set to weigh a ballot initiative supportive of voter ID requirements, however.

In California, voters will consider Proposition 39, which would mandate that voters present a valid form of government-issued ID when voting in person or “the last four digits of a unique identifying number from government-issued identification that matches the one designated by the voter for their voter registration” when voting by mail. The measure also includes language specifying that election officials have a “duty” to maintain accurate voter rolls and that they must “use best efforts to verify citizenship attestations using government data, and shall annually report what percentage of each county’s voter rolls have been citizenship-verified.”

Other states with pro-voter ID measures on the 2026 ballot are Colorado (Amendment 84), Nevada (Question 7), North Carolina, and Ohio (Issue 3). (Much like their aforementioned abortion amendment, Nevada’s voter ID measure was passed by voters in 2024 but requires approval once again this year in order to be ratified.)

North Dakota (Measure 1) and South Dakota (Amendment L) will each have constitutional amendment proposals asking voters to reform their referendum practices. The initiatives seek to increase the threshold for amending their state constitutions by requiring that any proposed amendment receive support from at least 60 percent of voters as opposed to a simple majority.

Meanwhile, Alaska voters will also be voting on Measure 2, which seeks to repeal the state’s ranked-choice voting system for elections. In RCV, voters rank candidates in order of preference. If no candidate receives more than 50 percent of first-choice votes in the first round of voting, the last-place finisher is eliminated, and his votes are reallocated to the voter’s second-choice candidate. This process continues until one candidate receives a majority of votes.

Alaska voters attempted to repeal RCV in 2024 but failed to do so by fewer than 700 votes after out-of-state dark money flooded the state to defeat such efforts. The system was enacted in 2020 with support from allies of Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, who survived a 2022 primary challenge thanks to RCV. The system has now put the Last Frontier State’s 2026 Senate race and other state contests in play for Democrats.

Massachusetts is also asking voters to alter its primaries. If approved, Question 3 would lead to the adoption of a top two primary system for state elections, in which all candidates run on the same ticket and the top two vote-getters — regardless of party — advance to the general election. The proposal appears geared toward boxing Republican candidates out of general election contests for state races.

Redistricting

After the U.S. Supreme Court nuked states’ ability to engage in race-based redistricting earlier this year, several states moved to alter their congressional maps ahead of the 2026 midterms. Phony travel agent convicted in $20M human smuggling scheme that funneled Cubans into US:

A Cuban national who took part in a $20 million human smuggling scheme that brought hundreds of Cubans into the US was convicted by a federal jury on Thursday and faces up to 20 years in prison, the Department of Justice said.

Lazaro Alain Cabrera-Rodriguez, 28, of Florida, was found guilty over his role in the smuggling and money laundering scheme shut down last year, which saw his travel agency charge between $1,500 and $40,000 for bogus immigration services.

The agency was accused of promoting bogus visa services from January 2021 through June 2025, effectively tricking Cubans into thinking that they could enter America legally by posing as European citizens.

“Lazaro Alain Cabrera-Rodriguez used his travel agency as a front to illegally smuggle Cuban aliens into the United States,” said Assistant Attorney General A. Tysen Duva of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division.

“His travel agency provided a veneer of legitimacy to evade detection when the defendant falsely completed and filed at least 600 applications for visa waivers, arranged to fly the aliens from Cuba to third countries, further coordinated with other smugglers throughout the Americas, and laundered over $20 million through 57 bank accounts,” Duva added.

Cabrera-Rodriguez’s “ASESORIA Y SERVICIOS MIGRATORIOS LLC” would go on to fabricate documents, charter private planes and launder money through the Zelle payment app, according to the DOJ.

The company promoted itself on social media as dedicated to helping immigrants fill out permits and asylum paperwork, but in reality, the defendants filed hundreds of fake Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) applications to US Customs and Border Protection. --->READ MORE HERE

‘Treating people like cargo’: Hialeah man convicted in $20 million Cuban smuggling enterprise:

A federal jury in Florida has convicted a Cuban national from Hialeah for his role in a massive international human smuggling and money laundering enterprise that funneled thousands of undocumented Cuban migrants across the southern U.S. border, U.S. Justice Department prosecutors reported Friday.

Lazaro Alain Cabrera-Rodriguez, 28, was convicted of conspiracy to commit alien smuggling for financial gain, conspiracy to commit international money laundering, and conspiracy to commit money laundering concealment. He faces up to 20 years in prison at his scheduled Dec. 17 sentencing.

According to trial evidence, Cabrera-Rodriguez and his co-conspirators ran an alien smuggling organization that charged migrants between $1,500 and $40,000 for transport, occasionally chartering private planes. The group used social media to solicit clients and submitted over 600 fraudulent Electronic System for Travel Authorization visa waiver applications to U.S. Customs and Border Protection using fake addresses and false citizenship claims.

During the day, the Russians carried out 55 airstrikes, using 181 guided aerial bombs. The enemy also used 5,060 kamikaze drones and carried out 1,600 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas.

The largest number of attacks—31—was recorded in the Kostiantynivka direction. The occupiers stormed positions near Kostiantynivka and attempted to advance toward a number of nearby settlements. Another 29 attacks took place in the Pokrovsk direction, in particular near Bilozerske, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, and Serhiivka.

Occupier losses and the situation in other directions

According to preliminary data from the General Staff, in the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian troops eliminated 30 occupiers and wounded another 15. They also destroyed 9 vehicles, an electronic warfare system, a UAV command post, and other equipment. In addition, 138 enemy drones were destroyed or suppressed.

In the Lyman direction, the Russians carried out 10 attacks; in the Kupiansk direction, 9; and in the Huliaipole direction, 7. Six assaults were recorded in the South Slobozhanskyi direction. As of 22:00, some fighting was still ongoing in the Kupiansk and Lyman directions.

Half of Airline Pilots Who Crashed Planes Were Muslim:

A troubling pattern that raises serious questions.

Passenger airline crashes are unusual, intentional ones are rare and intentional pilot crashes are virtually unheard of. Passenger planes are generally flown by highly trained airline pilots, many of them are veterans of their respective air forces, and they remain calm in a crisis.
That’s why there hasn’t been a single case of an American airline pilot deliberately crashing a plane and only one case of an airline pilot taking down a western plane with all onboard and that took place in 2015 when a suicidal first officer crashed Lufthansa’s Germanwings Flight 9525.

The only other case involving a western pilot, but not a western airline, was the crash of Mozambique Airlines Flight TM470 in Africa by a Portuguese pilot. Every other case has involved non-western pilots with two Asian pilots and four Muslim pilots deliberately crashing or trying to crash planes: including the first known deliberate crash of a passenger plane by an airline pilot that took place in 1994 when Captain Younes Khayati deliberately disabled the autopilot on Royal Air Maroc Flight 630 and crashed the plane into a mountain.

The list of Muslim suicide pilots also includes EgyptAir Flight 990 in 1999 where the first officer kept shouting “Allahu Akbar” while downing the plane as well as Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, the subject of endless fantastic conspiracy theories ranging from UFOs to black holes, but that was actually likely the work of Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah.

After the FlyDubai incident in which an Omani Muslim pilot stabbed an Indian pilot in a reported attempt to hijack Flight FZ1073 bound for Israel and possibly crash the plane, the list of Muslim pilots who tried to bring down airplanes is up to 4.

And that means that 44% of pilots who deliberately crashed tried to crash planes were Muslim.

These statistics are all the more startling since Muslim pilots and airlines make up a very limited percentage of the airline travel sector. The Asian and North American market together account for 66% of flights, Europe adds another 23%, Africa comes in at only around 3% and the Middle East only accounts for 5%. Despite that, the Middle East and Africa account for a disproportionate number of deliberate pilot crashes when they represent a tiny minority of flights.

The troubling statistic that nearly half of pilots attempting to crash their own planes were Muslim does not take into account Muslim hijackings, including the Islamic terror attacks of September 11, or any other hijacking attempts, but is limited only to pilots crashing passenger airline planes.

If we were to count hijackings, 9/11 alone would ensure a much worse track record for Muslims flying planes since these were by far the deadliest cases of pilots, however illegal and illegitimate, weaponizing jet airplanes to cause as much damage and loss of life as possible.

The latest incident raises serious questions about the risk entailed by both Muslim pilots and Muslim airlines operating in the United States of America and other known terror targets.

The EgyptAir Flight 990 crash off Nantucket led to claims of Islamophobia when investigators flagged the shouts about Allah on the cockpit recording as concerning even though the crash predated 9/11. The Egyptians initially refused to cede control of the investigation and experts were dispatched to explain Muslim theology to Americans. We were firmly told that when First Officer Gameel Al-Batouti took the opportunity to seize control of the plane while the captain was in the bathroom and sent the plane diving while shouting about “Allah”, this was normal.

It turned out that Al-Batouti had deliberately crashed the plane. The Egyptians refused to admit it and it took extensive work and an attempt by another Egyptian pilot to defector before we got anywhere close to the truth. Even then there were suspicions that it had been a terrorist act that were never proven, confirmed or even discussed because of the political sensitivity of the crash.

A similar cover-up would likely have ensued had the FlyDubai takeover ended in a crash. But instead the Israeli passengers stormed the cockpit, disabled the attacking pilot and allowed the relief pilots to take control of the aircraft. But it is unlikely that the authorities on the ground, currently the Saudis, will allow the truth about what really happened in the air to come out. --->READ MORE HERE

Given the persistence of eligibility fraud through 2025, CMS should make its reasoning behind last year’s broker reinstatements and this year’s subsequent terminations clear.

The Trump administration’s latest action to root out waste, fraud, and abuse in the Obamacare Exchanges entailed disenrolling people from insurance plans — costing taxpayers billions — who couldn’t identify themselves with proper documentation.
It’s the kind of move that would prompt ordinary taxpayers in the heartland to ask: Why didn’t they do that sooner?

Ghost Enrollees

In a fact sheet, the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced it had “canceled approximately 315,000 enrollments covering over 760,000 individuals after confirmation that these enrollments were unauthorized.” The action, taken after investigations in coordination with insurance companies, will result in approximately $2.2 billion in Obamacare subsidies being refunded to the federal government.

At the same time, CMS announced it had sent “569 notices of intent to terminate Exchange Agreements to agents and brokers that submitted 2026 applications [for coverage] without identifying applicant information, such as a Social Security number.” It said 66 of those agents and brokers had already been terminated, and more will likely follow as CMS receives responses from the relevant parties.

Questionable Enrollment Persists

CMS also published an interim final rule (i.e., one taking effect immediately) imposing a six-month moratorium on the new registration of brokers and agents, allowing CMS to implement another round of program integrity measures to guard against fraud by agents and brokers. (The moratorium will not apply in states that run their own Exchanges, which set their own rules regarding insurance brokers.) The move caused some pushback from the broker community, which said this punishes the innocent with the guilty since no new broker will be able to register until next February, after the open enrollment period for 2027.

In response, CMS cited data indicating that new agents for the current (i.e., 2026) plan year had significantly higher rates of questionable enrollment — for instance, a 2.8-time higher rate of “unresolved income verification issues,” a 2.7-time higher rate of “missing Social Security numbers,” a 2.6-time higher rate of “unresolved citizenship or immigration status verification issues,” and a 1.4-time higher rate of dual enrollment in Exchange coverage and Medicaid. To CMS, these data points suggest that new brokers may be disproportionately seeking to enroll ineligible individuals primarily for the commissions, and justified the registration moratorium as a preventive measure.

Another win for the Task Force to Eliminate Fraud:

The Trump administration’s Task Force to Eliminate Fraud has claimed another victory. It recently announced that it’s removing more than 760,000 unverified “phantom” enrollees from the rolls of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), resulting in $2.2 billion in savings.
This Task Force was established in March to weed out fraud across various departments and agencies. Its Fraud Ledger tracks and tallies fraud across several measures, including fraud uncovered, fraud stopped, and fraud enforced (recovered). The Department of Health and Human Services is leading the way with $96.1 billion in uncovered fraud; $46.2 billion in stopped fraud; and $32.9 billion in fraud enforcement and recovery.

The latest action by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) centers on the ACA and a three-prong strategy to “prevent fraudulent and improper enrollments, remove existing unauthorized enrollments, and strengthen oversight and enforcement of agents and brokers participating in Exchanges.”
Such a crackdown is long overdue. Because the Biden administration expanded and increased the ACA subsidies during COVID, enrollment — especially in plans with no premium requirements — skyrocketed.

The Paragon Institute found that from 2020 to 2025, enrollment in the 100-150% federal poverty level income bracket (which makes them eligible for generous or complete subsidy) surged from 3 million to over 10 million. But their research also showed that since the expiration of the COVID subsidies, there remain irregularities in enrollment.

According to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the agency has found “a pattern of unauthorized enrollments and suspicious agent and broker activity in the Federal Marketplace,” and its efforts have focused on working with health insurers to identify suspicious enrollments and those brokers and agents that assist with enrollment. As a result, CMS cancelled “approximately 315,000 enrollments covering over 760,000 individuals after confirming that these enrollments were unauthorized,” and saving federal taxpayers $2.2 billion in ACA subsidy distributions. --->READ MORE HERE

The Failing School Where Nikole Hannah-Jones Sent Her Daughter Used The 1619 Project:

Hannah-Jones’ ideology did not just ruin her own daughter’s academic potential by choice; it also poisons by force the educations of countless other students who attend the schools where the ideology has free rein

The failing school that race-grifter Nikole Hannah-Jones sent her child to used Hannah-Jones’ ahistorical 1619 Project as part of its curriculum, public records show.
Hannah-Jones recently wrote an essay for The New York Times describing her daughter Najya’s educational experiences at a failing, predominantly black middle school in New York City, where she was sent for express racial purposes. While the essay focused predominantly on Najya’s inability to do math due to lack of preparedness from her middle school, the Urban Assembly Unison School, it notably left out the school’s use of the 1619 Project, which likely indicates it also failed to provide her with a sufficient historical education.

According to the 1619 Project’s website, Unison was part of the 2022 cohort of schools and teachers in the 1619 Project Education Network, which “allowed students to explore The 1619 Project themes in creative and innovative ways with performance tasks that included redesigned textbooks, student performance showcases, and designing memorials for their wider community.”

In 2022, Najya would have been in seventh grade and therefore a student at Unison for two years of the 1619 fabrications.

“Our project will encompass learning history through the power of narratives that shift from the deficit view to a more celebratory & centering of the many powerful contributions of Black people in America,” the Unison page on the 1619 website states. Hannah-Jones’ 1619 Project is prominently displayed on the school’s curriculum page.

The basic premise of the 1619 Project is that the true founding of America happened in 1619 when the first slave ships with Africans arrived. Everything that happened after that, including the American Revolution, was really for the express purpose of continuing the institution of slavery, as opposed to any grander purpose like freedom, liberty, and self-determination. It is an “antiracist” project that has suffered withering rebuttals from historians across the political spectrum for its numerous errors, but the race-essentialist lens that undergirds it goes far beyond the false telling of history.

The “antiracist” movement as a whole means curricula across subjects, school policies on discipline, and grading are all rearranged to coddle particular groups of students based on skin color, while ignoring everyone else. Unsurprisingly then, “antiracism” is the essential premise of Hannah-Jones’ essay, even though she tries not to admit it, and the “antiracist” elements described above were deeply embedded in the school she selected.

Unison, Hannah-Jones wrote, is “part of a cohort of themed public schools created to advance the economic and social mobility of low-income students and students of color through rigorous instruction and a focus on social-emotional learning.” The institution had a “food-justice club” and held multiple “Black History Month assemblies and spirit weeks.”

The racial programming appeared to work, as Najya herself, when looking for a more rigorous high school, said, “I’d never been in a school with white kids and don’t think I really wanted that,” but between it all, the true consequences of 1619-informed “antiracism” came out as well.

“Unison had eliminated homework because studies show that it does not have much impact on academic achievement, and that assigning it often sets up for failure students who are so academically behind that they cannot do the work on their own. Under the Unison system, students completed their assignments during class time where a teacher could guide and help if they got stuck. But for students like Najya, this practice proved absolutely harmful,” Hannah-Jones admitted. “She’d bemoan how the less experienced teachers struggled to manage their classrooms and would expend so much attention on the small number of kids acting out that they’d be unable to complete their lessons or help a student stuck on a problem. There were occasionally fights in the hallway.”

Instead of disciplining any children who acted out in class, teachers had to “refocus students and mitigate conflict” in real-time, meaning they had very little opportunity for actual class instruction. In the same sentence, Hannah-Jones claims that “this is good educational practice,” and then adds, “but kids like Najya, who were just trying to do their work, saw this treatment as deeply unfair.”

In reality such policies are unfair because not disciplining students deprives both misbehaving students and their more studious peers of educational consistency throughout the day. Like not assigning homework, or “equity grading,” there is no accountability or rigor during or outside the school day, and students in such schools often end up advancing years in school while remaining academically stunted. --->READ MORE HERE

A Marine veteran left paralyzed after being shot while working as a security guard was slated to testify against his alleged illegal immigrant attacker in court next week until a sudden, severe downturn in his health forced him back into the hospital, his family told Fox News Digital.

Jimmy Friesenhahn, a combat veteran with multiple overseas deployments, has been hospitalized for at least a week due to complications from a blood clot after an August surgery, according to his sister, Becky Borjon.

“We encountered some medical setbacks, and he’s been hospitalized for a week now,” Borjon said. “Prior to that, he was in inpatient rehab for three weeks following a surgery he had on Aug. 28, and things just kind of took a turn.”

Friesenhahn was expected to take the stand in a Bexar County courtroom during the upcoming trial of Wilmer Vladimir Ruiz Ortega, 29, the Honduran national accused of shooting him.

“Trial is scheduled to begin next week on the 20th,” Borjon said. “I believe they will start with jury selection and go from there. Jimmy was expected to appear and testify on his own behalf, and we are still hoping he will be able to do that.”

Man who shot, paralyzed San Antonio Marine Corps veteran could get up to 99 years:

Wilmer Vladimir Ruiz Ortega, 30, was convicted of shooting Marine veteran Jimmy Friesenhahn, who was working security at a West Side sports bar.

A man who shot a Marine Corps veteran at a West Side sport bar last year, leaving him paralyzed from the chest down, has been convicted of aggravated assault and other offenses.

Wilmer Vladimir Ruiz Ortega, 30, faces up to 99 years in prison when he is sentenced on a date yet to be determined.

A Bexar County jury convicted him Friday of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing paralysis, aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was found not guilty of aggravated assault of a security officer.

Prosecutors said Ruiz Ortega fired six shots at security guard Jimmy Friesenhahn after Friesenhahn discovered a weapon inside his pants while conducting a pat-down at the entrance to El Patio Sports Bar on May 4, 2025.

Friesenhahn sustained two gunshot wounds in the chest and one in the neck, leaving him paralyzed from the chest down. Ruiz Ortega tried to leave the scene in a vehicle, but other security guards detained him until officers arrived, police said.

The shooting was captured on security camera footage, which was shown to the jury. Friesenhahn, now 45, testified at the trial, speaking in a low, hoarse voice from his wheelchair.

Ruiz Ortega has remained in the Bexar County Jail since his arrest. Jail records show he is being held under a federal immigration detainer, indicating that federal authorities believe he is in the country illegally.

The shooting drew national political attention. U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz shared Friesenhahn's story on X, writing, "My thoughts and prayers are with Jimmy Friesenhahn tonight, a Marine veteran and a Texan, who is fighting for his life after being shot by an illegal alien. The Muslim Students Association was unaffected.

Two Christian student groups have filed a federal lawsuit against Virginia State University after the university sought to put all campus religious organizations under the control of a university-selected “Campus Minister”—but then exempted non-Christian student religious groups from the new protocol.

Two campus Christian organizations were directly affected by VSU’s sudden grab at control of its faith-based organizations— Women of Victory and Bethel Campus Fellowship. The campus chapters are each linked to national organizations of the same name.

Both national student organizations have unobjectionable aims and objectives. Women of Victory Ministries states on its website that it is dedicated to “encouraging and equipping college women to fulfill their God-given calling through the transforming power of Jesus Christ.”

The Bethel Campus Fellowship describes itself as “an interdenominational, politically neutral organization established to proclaim the Lordship of Jesus Christ on high school and college campuses.” The organization’s stated mission is “Leading Students to Christ and preparing them to become reliable men and women that God can entrust with His word for the next generation.”

Meanwhile, VSU’s chapter of the Hamas-funded Muslim Students Association brought a representative from the Nation of Islam’s Minister Louis Farrakhan to campus last February. Farrakhan is widely known as a vicious racist and antisemite. “The white man is the devil, but the Jew is the one who orchestrates the white man’s actions against the black man in America,” he has stated. Despite aligning itself with Farrakhan’s racist organization, the Muslim Students Association at VSU was not subject to the same dictatorial religious controls as its Christian counterparts.

The Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), a legal organization dedicated to defending religious freedom that is acting on behalf of the two Christian student groups, explained how the university’s discriminatory tactics played out.

“In August, VSU’s Campus Ministries office adopted a new policy, informing student leaders that ‘student-led ministries’ could no longer hold registered student organization status or affiliate with their national organizations,” ADF explains. “Instead, faith-based groups like Women of Victory and Bethel Campus Fellowship would be absorbed into VSU’s Campus Ministries, subject to the sole authority of the University’s Campus Minister, Thomas Wynn, and a board of advisors comprised of faculty members and university employees.”

The details of this takeover are even more disturbing. “Under the university’s new policy, Wynn is granted control of all student-led ministries, with complete discretion to approve or reject requests for religious meetings, events, guest speakers, and all other religious activities on campus,” the ADF explained in a press release. What’s more, “The Muslim Students Association and the VSU Community Faith Alliance—the only non-Christian religious organizations at VSU—are explicitly exempted from the policy.”

Student leaders from the two Christian groups attempted to dispute the policy and questioned official “Campus Minister” Wynn on why the university’s new policy was only directed at Christian student organizations. “Because you are all faith-based,” Wynn replied, “… because you purport Jesus Christ and faith.”

In an egregiously dictatorial move, Wynn announced the elimination of the shuttle service that students would take to attend a local church on Sunday mornings, explaining that this change was made because “the school wants to crack down on transportation to outside churches.” --->READ MORE HERE

A firefighter engulfed in flames as a youthful mob watches and laughs.

A teacher doused in gasoline by guffawing thugs as his beloved school burns to the ground.

A woman’s face set alight by a masked goon with a makeshift flamethrower.

Two dozen schools burned and ransacked; cars flipped upside down; buses and fire engines savagely smashed.

It sounds like a montage from a dystopian horror movie — but it’s happening right now in France.

What started late last month as a protest about underfunded public schools has morphed into an orgy of Islamo-leftist violence.

Paris and other cities are now awash with foreign flags as throngs of unassimilated youths scream their hatred for France itself.

“In the name of Allah, we can kill them all,” barked one masked thug, to the mob’s demented glee.

We are witnessing something extraordinary: an intifada in the heart of Europe.

Surely no one can now deny the lethal error of throwing open a nation’s borders to the world, while sacrificing the ideals of integration at the altar of multiculturalism.

The speed with which scattered school protests turned into an Islamist-infused uprising was truly frightening.

It all kicked off less than two weeks ago, when thousands of students played hooky to shout at the government.

They called themselves the “disenchanted generation” and called for education improvements.

But within days it became something monstrous.

The crowds began burning schools down — more than 20 across France have been set alight.

At one of them, Nelson Mandela School in Nantes in western France, the torch-wielding mob caused $3.4 million worth of damage.

Police fire tear gas as students, parents, teachers march in France’s largest day of protests:

Police fired tear gas at protesters blockading French high schools on Tuesday as students, teachers and parents took to the streets on the biggest day of action in a wave of demonstrations against understaffed and dilapidated classrooms.

In Marseille and Nantes, protesters held up signs marked with “The state has killed national education” and other messages, in largely peaceful rallies.

In Toulouse, parents linked arms at the front of a march through the city.

But in Strasbourg, Lyon and Rennes, the demonstrations at times turned violent, with police firing tear gas and protesters lighting fires in the streets and hurling projectiles.

“There is such a gap between the elites and us,” said Hugo Vetzel, a recent high-school graduate in Strasbourg.

The protests began in September in Paris’s deprived suburbs, then spread nationwide, posing a major challenge to President Emmanuel Macron’s cash-strapped government as it faces strong economic headwinds.

The High School Students Union said more than half of France’s high schools were blockaded or would close for the day.

Some local education authorities have tried to move classes online.

“We want more money for the national educational system so that high schools are renovated,” said Roberta, another recent high-school graduate at a protest outside Paris’ prestigious Henri IV school.

Schools were facing a list of problems from water leaks to rat infestations, she added.

The government has responded to the demonstrations with riot police.

Rights groups, students and parent groups have accused authorities of using disproportionate force against minors.

The government says outsiders have hijacked the protest movement and turned it into urban violence.

France’s interior ministry said 6,100 people have been arrested since the protests began, the overwhelming majority of them minors.

New Records Suggest ActBlue Opened The Door Wide To Foreign Donors

The Dems’ fundraising giant’s passport verification system was ‘essentially toothless,’ a congressional report asserts.

Benefit of the doubt.
That’s apparently the phrase that paid when it came to the left’s fundraising giant’s handling of potential foreign donations, according to the findings of a new congressional report into the ActBlue cash scandal.

In their third interim report, the House Administration, Judiciary and Oversight committees have released internal ActBlue documents that expose what seems to be the left-wing organization’s blasé attitude about laws prohibiting contributions from foreign actors to political campaigns.

Among the latest installment’s key findings:

— ActBlue’s policies that allegedly “prevent” illegal, fraudulent political contributions could be bypassed easily by foreign actors.

— ActBlue’s “passport verification process,” which allegedly prevents illegal foreign donations, is an ineffective security method that does not actually require a valid U.S. passport number.

— ActBlue repeatedly instructed its fraud prevention analysts to “give the donor the benefit of the doubt” and to ignore red flags about contributions with foreign indicators.

“I wish I could say that [the new records] surprise me, but in many ways this is almost what you expect,” Rep. Bryan Steil, R-Wis., chairman of the Administration Committee, said Thursday in an interview on The Federalist Radio Hour. “I have been engaged in this investigation now for three years and what we continue to realize is that ActBlue has not been taking fraud seriously.”

‘Knowing and Willful’

Since launching in 2004, the cash machine for leftist politicians, groups, and causes has raised nearly $20 billion, including nearly $1.8 billion last year.

The committees began looking into ActBlue’s fraud prevention practices following the 2024 presidential election. Steil and majority Republicans on the Administration Committee were raising concerns and asking for answers in 2023.

As The Federalist has reported, records obtained through congressional subpoenas confirmed suspicions that ActBlue had accepted unverified payments during record-smashing fundraising totals for the Democrat Party’s presidential replacement candidate, then-Vice President Kamala Harris, in the summer of 2024.

Harris raised a jaw-dropping $81 million in the 24 hours following President Joe Biden calling it quits in July 2024. “In August, the campaign said it raised $361 million, bringing the total to more than $615 million in fundraising since Harris had entered the race,” CBS News reported in October 2024. The congressional investigation has found donations poured through the platform from Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Colombia, and other countries, as The Federalist previously reported.

ActBlue has denied wrongdoing and insists that it has cooperated with the committees’ oversight requests. In an April 28 letter, the fundraising platform called claims that officials have impeded the congressional investigation “baseless.”

But following a New York Times report on ActBlue in April, the committees found the fundraising platform had failed to turn over all requested documents. The Times reported that Dana Remus, ActBlue’s outside counsel and former Biden White House counsel, drafted a memo advising that CEO Regina Wallace-Jones may have misled Congress about the contribution collector’s review processes for foreign donations and that ActBlue’s acceptance of illegal foreign contributions appeared to be “knowing and willful.”

‘Essentially Toothless’

In 2023, Wallace-Jones had told Steil’s Committee on House Administration that ActBlue’s multi-layered vetting process required passport information from donors providing an address outside of the U.S. and that “[o]nly donations with passport information are processed.”

But new internal documents reveal ActBlue’s “passport verification” system was “essentially toothless,” the committees report states.

“We use some very basic validation — number of characters — to ensure that the number entered is a valid passport number, but we do not verify the information in any other way,” an ActBlue memo notes. “We do not, for instance, check the information provided against a government database. We merely store the information and continue with the contribution flow.”

The committees’ report asserts the process could allow foreign actors to enter “any random combination of numbers and donate to political campaigns in the United States, in violation of federal law.”

Internal documents also show that ActBlue allowed employees to determine an “alternative method of verifying the [donor’s] citizenship” for donors who do not have U.S. passports. ActBlue’s legal team needed to be in on the solution, the communication suggests, but employees were encouraged to put a “a placeholder in the passport number field of [the donor’s] ActBlue account.” --->READ MORE HERE

Anger is boiling over at Virginia Democratic Gov. Abigail Spanberger and sanctuary-friendly politicians over “out of control” killings in the state after US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) asked the state not to allow the release of yet another illegal immigrant charged with carrying out a stabbing spree.

ICE sent a request to Spanberger and “her fellow sanctuary politicians” not to release Mexican illegal immigrant Freddi Chigo Mil following his arrest for allegedly stabbing two women on the streets of Staunton, Virginia, according to the Department of Homeland Security. Police responding to the incident found Mil at the scene along with two stabbed women, one of whom was pronounced dead while the other was transported to a local hospital.

Mil is charged with second-degree murder and aggravated malicious wounding causing permanent impairment, according to Middle River Regional Jail records. The same day, ICE arrested Salvadoran illegal immigrant Yinmi Molina-Zepeda in Woodbridge, Virginia, after it was discovered that he is wanted in his home country for aggravated homicide and other crimes.

Commenting on the growing list of illegal immigrants accused of violent crimes in Virginia, Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin remarked that “this is what the Commonwealth of Virginia has become under the sanctuary policies of Gov. Abigail Spanberger and her fellow sanctuary politicians.”

Regarding Mil, Mullin said, “this illegal alien from Mexico has been charged with murder after a stabbing spree that killed one woman and injured another.”

He explained that “ICE has lodged a detainer asking Gov. Spanberger to cooperate with us and commit to not releasing this criminal from jail, so that he can be removed from our country once he faces justice.”

“It’s time to put an end to these preventable tragedies,” he continued, adding, “Deporting illegal aliens saves lives.”

Jennifer Harrison, executive director of the victim advocacy organization Victims’ Rights Reform Council, told Fox News Digital that “everything is out of control in these upside-down jurisdictions run by politicians like Spanberger who call themselves ‘moderate Democrats’ while implementing policies that put criminals ahead of victims and public safety.”

Harrison posed the question: “How much blood has to be spilled in our streets before elected officials wake up and change course?”

“We have reached a point where the federal government has to ask state and local officials not to release dangerous illegal immigrants back into American communities. Think about how insane that is,” Harrison continued.

“These are people who should not be in this country to begin with, and yet after they are accused of committing serious crimes here, when they have dead bodies in front of them, we are still having a debate over whether they should be released back onto our streets.”

In a news release, DHS pointed to 22 cases of violent crime involving illegal immigrants in Virginia this year. Charges filed against illegal immigrants in Virginia this year include child pornography offenses, sex offenses against children, attempted disarming of a law enforcement officer, murder, aggravated sexual battery, rape, abduction and other serious crimes.

A spokesperson for Spanberger’s office responded by telling Fox News Digital that the governor “strongly believes violent criminals who are in the United States illegally should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and deported.” --->READ MORE HERE

Four of 11 suspected sex offenders arrested in Indiana sting are illegal immigrants: DHS

Four out of 11 alleged sex offenders arrested during a police sting operation in Indiana are illegal immigrants from four different countries, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

The men thought they were communicating with underage girls online before driving to meet them for what they believed were sexual encounters, authorities said. Instead, they were met by undercover detectives.

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lodged detainer requests for the four suspects.

They were identified as: El Hadji Babacar Ndiaye, a Senegalese citizen who was caught and released at the southern border in September 2023 in Lukeville, Arizona, by the Biden administration.

Lucky Philip Udoudo is a Nigerian citizen who entered the US as a got-away at an unknown time and location.

Filomeno Ricardo Flores Marin is a Mexican citizen who entered the US illegally in Arizona in 2002

David Josue Gomez-Posada is a Salvadoran citizen who came into the US illegally in 2017 as a juvenile.

“We are calling on Indiana to honor our detainers,” a DHS spokesperson told Fox News. “All of their claims will be heard by an immigration judge, and they will receive due process. This administration will not ignore the rule of law.”

Marin is charged with two counts of sex offenses, and one count each of molestation of a minor and enticement of a minor for indecent purposes.

His criminal history also includes a prior arrest for stolen property.

He was previously arrested by ICE on Jan. 18, 2019, while assisting the Drug Enforcement Administration on an operation in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was released on bond on March 7, 2019.

Udoudo is charged with child solicitation and sexual misconduct with a minor. Gomez-Posada is charged with child solicitation, and Ndiaye is charged with child solicitation.

“Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, if you break the law, you will face the consequences. Criminal illegal aliens are not welcome in the US,” the DHS spokesperson said. --->READ MORE HERE

UK Muslim Minister Admits Most Muslim Migrants are Rapists

You can almost guarantee that every woman that’s in the north of France has probably been raped along the journey. Some of the men too,” UK Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood admitted on a podcast. “They’ve certainly been abused and threatened.”
If a fellow Muslim woman or girl isn’t safe on a boat full of her own people, what happens to a British woman or girl alone at night in a park or a train station with one of these ‘migrants’?

What the Pakistani Muslim Labour politician put in charge of Britain’s immigration and national security policies didn’t admit was that the majority of those migrants illegally crossing on ‘small boats’ from France to England are from Muslim countries.

In 2025, 77% of ‘small boat’ migrants came from majority Muslim countries. Apart from Ethiopia (which has a 30%+ Muslim colonist population) and Vietnam, the top 10 small migrant invading countries were majority Muslim. And it’s not the Vietnamese in the news over terror and rape.

6 of the top 10 ‘small boat’ invader countries have some level of legal rape, rape is used by the Islamic authorities to punish dissent or used by prominent factions as a weapon of war such as sex slavery. That includes Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan and Yemen. This cultural background undoubtedly plays a role in the crimes committed by migrants on their route.

And the crimes committed by migrants once they enter the UK.

Over the summer, the British government put out flyers and posters aimed at migrants explaining that, “if you have sex with someone without their consent, this is called rape. Rape is a serious crime in the UK. You could go to prison, lose your support and accommodation, and it will affect your asylum claim.”

Local police statistics show high rates of rape by foreign nationals from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria, and Iraq. The populations with high rates of rape also have high rates of migration.

That’s not a coincidence.

Despite that, Labour Home Secretary Mahmood announced a plan to ‘fast track’ the arrival of Afghan and ‘Palestinians’ migrants to the UK. The Pakistani Muslim politician ordered Britons to be “ready and able to welcome those who come here” and “unlock the inherent generosity of this country.” That generosity means bringing more Afghans rapists to attack women in the UK.

Mahmood blames the ubiquity of rape by migrants on “criminal gangs” and “people traffickers”, but it means that at best the other men on the boats are at best complicit in what is happening.

A recent assault on a migrant on a boat by three other migrants had no indication that the perpetrators were gang members. In one of the most notorious cases, an Iraqi migrant raped and strangled to death a fellow Iraqi 16-year-old girl on a boat. This is not just ‘traffickers’: it’s a reflection of an Islamic culture where unprotected women and girls are seen as fair game.

And the wave of sexual assaults by migrants after they arrive in the UK shows it’s not just a few gang members. Some of the worst migrant rapes in the UK this year included numerous Afghan assaults, among the worst of them were two Afghans who only months after invading on a ‘small boat’ kidnapped and raped a 12-year-old girl, strangling her, laughing and taking a video of their victim. There were protests after authorities failed to admit the perpetrators were migrants.

An Iranian teenage invader who raped a 14-year-old girl three weeks after his arrival got no jail time but was told to take classes on “the understanding of consent, boundaries, and victim awareness.” A Kurdish migrant raped a woman only weeks after arriving on a ‘small boat’. Last year, a Syrian migrant assaulted three different women and was given a suspended sentence after he claimed he wasn’t aware his actions were illegal. Such claims are commonplace.

There’s been no evidence that any of these Muslim rapists were ‘human traffickers’.

It’s no coincidence that Afghanistan, a society whose strict Islamic doctrines treat women as subhuman, has produced so many of the rapists or that rape has increased with the mass arrivals of Afghan migrants. Mahmood and the Burnham government want to blame the routine rapes of women and girls on “criminal gangs” in order to present legal mass migration of refugees as an alternative to small boat mass migration, but the problem isn’t the gangs. --->READ MORE HERE

ignored the written description of filtering the other night,” Molly Gaston messaged her fellow federal prosecutor, J.P. Cooney, in the early days of the post-2020 election targeting of President Donald Trump, documents obtained exclusively by The Federalist reveal. “Me too,” Cooney replied, showing that two of the attorneys whom Jack Smith would later choose to lead the special counsel team disregarded rules when judged “not tenable.” And additional documents whistleblowers provided Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, confirm the special counsel office ignored the protocol established to protect privileged documents.

Monday afternoon, in advance of Jack Smith’s Tuesday testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, The Federalist is publishing a cache of documents it obtained exclusively from Grassley, in advance of their public release. These new documents provide further evidence that the Biden Administration and Special Counsel Jack Smith weaponized the Justice Department.

The first incriminating document consists of what a representative from Grassley’s office confirmed included text exchanges between two prosecutors in the D.C. U.S. attorney’s office from February of 2021. Those communications came soon after Biden’s inauguration and while Tim Thibault remained a key player pushing for an investigation into Trump.

Cooney opened the relevant exchange by asking Gaston “how confusing/bad was the filter guidance? I’m sitting in another call, but am getting pinged that it is a bit of a cluster.”

The referenced “filter guidance” concerned the DOJ’s directions to prosecutors and agents for the handling of documents being reviewed as part of their investigation, where the materials included — or potentially included — privileged materials, such as communications with an attorney. To properly protect privileged communications, when documents may include privileged material, the DOJ requires those documents to be sequestered from the investigative and prosecuting team, with a “filter” or “taint” team reviewing the documents to redact or withhold any protected communications from prosecutors.

The documents provided The Federalist indicate that during the initial stages of the Arctic Frost investigation, the FBI and prosecutors operating out of the D.C. office did not use a taint team, and instead had “filter guidance” telling them how to handle privileged communications. According to Gaston, the guidance “basically said, if you come across potentially privileged material (without defining), stop and freeze.”

In her text to Cooney, Gaston admits she “ignored the written description of filtering the other night,” explaining it is “not tenable.”

“Me too,” Cooney responded showing he also disregarded the directions for handling potentially privileged materials.

While Cooney told Gaston that someone named “Liz” was working on fixing the process — something he called a “cluster” — it is unclear when or how the pre-Smith Arctic Frost team filtered evidence in the early stages of the investigation. However, one slide from a presentation included in the documents suggests the ad hoc filtering continued for nearly a year-and-a-half, with the presentation materials stating “[o]ver 50 Department of Justice Personnel (DOJ and FBI) have participated in the Filter Team Since June 2022,” and noting the first document was coded on “June 17, 2022.”

That Cooney and Gaston initially ignored the filter guidance and then apparently took more than a year to establish a filter team contrasts sharply with the norm in the D.C. U.S. attorney and FBI field offices, as documents provided by whistleblowers and released today show. Those emails capture the seriousness and care the DOJ normally exercises to protect constitutional privileges, with some of the key players in investigating Trump involved in those email exchanges — showing they knew full well the importance of using a taint team and not viewing unfiltered documents. --->READ MORE HERE

Two federal prosecutors who later joined Jack Smith’s special counsel team openly admitted to each other that they ignored Department of Justice protocols designed to protect privileged communications during the early stages of the investigation into President Donald Trump.

“I ignored the written description of filtering the other night,” prosecutor Molly Gaston messaged her colleague J.P. Cooney in February 2021, according to documents obtained exclusively by The Federalist from Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA). “Me too,” Cooney replied.

The exchange, released Monday ahead of Smith’s Tuesday testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, reveals a casual disregard for constitutional protections that Americans depend on to shield their communications with attorneys from government eyes.

Gaston described the filter guidance as “not tenable,” apparently justifying her decision to bypass the rules entirely. Cooney called the situation a “cluster.”

The filter guidance at issue governs how prosecutors and FBI agents must handle documents that may contain privileged materials, such as attorney-client communications. Standard DOJ practice requires a “taint team,” a separate group of personnel who review documents first and redact or withhold protected communications before prosecutors ever see them.

But during the initial stages of the Arctic Frost investigation targeting Trump, no taint team existed. Instead, agents and prosecutors received written guidance telling them to “stop and freeze” if they encountered potentially privileged material. Both Gaston and Cooney admitted they ignored even that minimal protection.

The documents provided to Grassley suggest this ad hoc approach continued for well over a year. A presentation slide included in the materials states that “over 50 Department of Justice Personnel (DOJ and FBI) have participated in the Filter Team Since June 2022,” with the first document coded on June 17, 2022.
