Hi guys, firstly I want to apologize because its been a while since I last update my blog about Rip-tide Army. It's not that I'm lazy to update my blog but it's because I'm working outstation and far from my home. I also barely can get an internet access at a place where I work now. Finally I got a 2 day off from work and then I got chance to write and update my blog about Rip-tide Army.

Today I'm gonna tell you about a few things that happen at Rip-tide Army official website. The first thing is Rip-tide Army now has its very own conference room. So that's mean you can meet a person behind Rip-tide Army. I've been there and it's great to be there because you can ask whatever you want to know about Rip-tide Army and they will answer you instantly.

A Note On How Passion, Hard Work And Good Understanding Leads To Being A Rich Person

A note from a user of Reddit, discussing about how he got rich, and the path to take to be super-rich, as said below he's 31, and own 7 different companies. Let's learn and understand on how passion, hard work and good understanding will lead you to the right path. (Credits goes here [link]), here goes the story....

I am 31 and own 7 different companies (with various investors). All 7 were built in the last 4 years and I was the driving force. I don't keep tabs on how rich I am (building something is more important), but I don't think about how much I spend personally, ever. That does not mean I buy heaps of consumer crap and try to look rich, it just means I buy what makes me happy. I have a wife and a child and they spend whatever they want on what makes them happy. I know lots of extremely rich people who are worth between 10 million to over 3 billion and not one of them tries to look rich.

You are much more likely to get rich if you are passionate about anything other than being rich, so find your passion. This is how I worked mine out:

When I was 15 I realised that after a while most people don't like what they do as a job after 20 years of doing it. I realised that if I had a choice of either going to work or looking after a sick family member I would choose the family member. I also realised that if I was going to sell the best part of my life I would sell it for the most money I could get. If you were paid $50,000 pa for 40 years of work (between the ages of 20 and 60) you would have sold the best hours and years of your life for the paltry sum of $2,000,000 (excluding wage inflation). I did the hardest Maths and Economics I could find and became a business analyst for large firms looking to save 0.1% off their costs or increase their profits by the same amount per year. This works out to be a lot of money and taught me why some businesses are very successful and others which look the same are not so successful. You need to learn how money works.

My passion is building things, business is my Art, just like some artists paint. I express myself through business. My businesses are built to provide a quality benefit to both our clients, staff and stakeholders. We never rip people off by doing the wrong thing. This is my passion!!!

The basics: The most important part about being financially free is understanding how money works:

Treat money the way it treats you. When did money last tell you it loved you? Money is a sociopath so treat it the same. This is NOT the same as treating your employees, clients, stakeholders or the people around you like a sociopath. When making decisions about money make them without any emotion.
Realise what risk is - Risk is just ignorance about something. It would be risky for me to operate on someone because I am not a surgeon. If I educated myself to be a surgeon then the risk that I would kill someone would be lower. Educate yourself about things and there will be little to less risk that I lost my money.
Return on investment is a measure of how much risk is in an investment. The more you educate yourself about the investment, the lower the risk. You still get the same ROI, but the risk is lower so you are getting a return on your knowledge.
Debt is NOT a bad thing. Debt is often a good thing. If you can borrow money at 5% and make 10% on it then you have made essentially free money. Make sure you educate yourself about the risk (see point 2 and 3).
You need to realise that in business 8 of out 10 businesses fail at some point. If you want to have a successful business you must start at least 10 businesses. Do not start one business, fail and then say well business is crap. Realise your odds of success are very low, especially when starting out. My first business failed and I have had two more fail since then, this is the cost of doing business. I have started 10 businesses so far and 7 of them have been successful. I attribute the success of beating the odds (so far) to educating myself and finding my passion.
When investing in a business (say shares etc) you are investing in the management and skills of the people in the team not the product (its about 80% team and 20% product). For an example, look at the Hoola Hoop, it was just a piece of hose, but the management created a sensation. Saying this sometimes you can invest in the product and management 50/50, see how to get super rich below.
Remember that nothing worth having comes easy. Working hard on something you are not passionate about is hard. When you have found your passion it will make the 100 hour weeks seem like 50 hour weeks.
Write business plans, hundreds of them is a start. Your first ones will be hundreds of pages long, but as you write more of them you will get better at it. I can now write a business plan on a whiteboard in 10 minutes for an extremely complex business or investment.

Realise that being financially free requires re-education. You have been taught to work for someone else from when you were a child to most likely today. You were probably never taught by the school system on how to treat money. If you want to be finically free you must invest in education for yourself. I am not talking about going to school, how is someone who is a wage earner (the teacher) going to teach you how to invest to be financially free? You must learn from investors and business people. When I say invest in educating yourself I mean borrow or buy a couple of books to give you a starting point (read from 1 - 4):

Richest Man in Babylon
Rich Dad, Poor Dad (read the other 3 of Roberts books if you want to know more)
The E-myth
Seven Habits of highly effective people.

These books might cost you $100 to buy and will help solidify your knowledge. Some will seem elementary, but never knock back knowledge, even if you only get 5% from a book.

If you want to get really rich then you need to move from the basics I discussed above to a whole different ball game.

Getting super rich is not that hard, it just takes a whole lot more hard work, lots of practice, money and knowing where to invest.

If you look at the people who are super rich they got there by:

Inventing something people want - Bill Gates
Getting into the resources sector - Any Mining Magnate
Being in business where people give you your main input for free (paper, cardboard, waste management) - Visy Packaging
Real Estate - Any large land developer

The most important thing to realise about these investments is that they are out of reach of most people. When you get more competition in an industry the ROI drops. You will notice above that none of the above investments have much competition. This is why the people who own these are super rich. The businesses that are successful are businesses who supply things that people have to buy but the barriers to entry are so high that competition is low. As an example when was the last time (just before you turned on your light switch) you called the mine that supplies the coal to the power plant that you buy your power from to ask them if you could get a better deal on the coal you were about to burn???? No one ever does that and this is why these businesses are successful.

A good example of something which is never going to make you supper rich is small scale real estate development. Buying houses and renting them produces almost no return on investment in the long run. This is because there are so many people out there willing to get paid almost nothing for their investment in the house of apartment that its very hard to make money. I know some people will disagree and some people have already posted about how much they have made doing this, but I am not talking about ROI's near the risk free rate, I am talking about real investment returns of 15% and above per annum and these returns are not on paper (capital growth).

When you want to move to getting super rich, you often don't need all of the money to make it happen. You need a proven track record (in business and investment) and a very good investment opportunity that falls within the 4 above investment areas. People with money are always looking to make it work for them, so they will invest in YOU (see point 5 above) and the opportunity.

Many adults do not allow themselves to remember what it is like to be a child. As a child, we were amazed to see a planted seed grow into an abundant plant. We were fascinated and in awe that we could enjoy the ripe delicious fruit from the same plant.

We can apply the same concept to our daily lives. Many of us deny ourselves the gratification of thinking big.

Those seeds we’ve planted (or others have planted) in our heads keep telling us that we aren’t good enough to be big.

It’s time that we start letting ourselves think big.

We need to learn to plant the little thought seeds in our minds that will grow into realized dreams.

A Letter from Rip-tide Army's Soldier Jim Mackey

Many have asked me why Rip-tide Army wave 3 is moving slowly. As we know, people need sometime before they can make decision to join Rip-tide Army and invest their time and small amount of money.

However, to give you a big picture about this matter and why it happen I want you to read a great letter from Rip-tide Army's brave soldier Jim Mackey aka darkg0d. It's a bit long but it's worth to read it.

So, what's the problem with our army? Why are things slowing down? I think I know why. It seems to me that there is too much chaos amongst our ranks.

When I first joined up with the Rip-tide Army I had over fifteen years experience failing at network marketing, both on and offline. Over thirty thousand dollars in advertising as well as another ten thousand or so in monthly membership fees have come out of my pocket. So, trust me when I say that working alone is not the way to do things. Solo-ads, classifieds(both online and in newspapers), safelists, traffic exchanges, blogging, forum posting, flyers, posters, taglines, business cards and pestering friends and family were some of the ways that I've attempted to do business. I say attempted because in total, over the decade and a half of failure, I made two thousand dollars total, a net loss of about thirty eight thousand dollars. Now, maybe if i'd been a wealthy man and been able to spend all that money at once on high dollar advertising like the Ash Mufarehs or the Paul Birdsalls of the world then I'd have been alright. But like most of you, I am but a poor commoner, just looking for a better way.

And when I found the team concept for network marketing I thought that I had at long last found that way. So, I rejoined a network marketing program that I had been trying to get to work for me since 2001. I am sure many of you have heard of it. In November of 2009 I joined Global Domains International,GDI for short. This was my fourth time joining GDI. I felt for sure that this time with the PowerPath team behind me that I simply could not fail . And I still feel that way. If you follow the system you cannot fail. It may take time, but it will happen. There is simply no such thing when you are working alone. Never in my life have I ever had a downline bigger than five people until this year. The rotator/team idea does work. But, the rotator system is just too slow especially when building a downline six wide. For example, I've been with PowerPath for 7 months and have a downline of six people.

Let me put that a different way. I have paid my monthly membership for seven months and am not breaking even yet. Within my first thirty days of paying for my TOAN membership I had a downline of three, causing me to break even. I have been a part of the Riptide Army since May and have a downline of 15 people. Yes, in only three months.

Now here is where I think the problem is, especially for people that have tried and failed at many other opportunities. It seems that the perception is that you will sign up with the Rip-tide Army and then wait around for a long time and then finally one day get attack orders. I mean after all doesn't it take a long time to get a wave of people together ? The truth is people are signing up in droves. I don't think most people expected the massive level of success that we are having here. It is almost taking longer to get people to follow the attack orders than it is to find the amount of people for each wave. It's sort of like you are just out of boot camp, expecting to have a couple weeks of R&R before your marching orders come and suddenly you are being sent off to war. It can be chaotic and confusing and scary. But when the next attack wave comes and you are relieved of duty by the new recruits you'll be filled with pride at a job well done, knowing you served your army, elite and fellow recruit alike to the best of your ability.

I have seen in the forums that people want our General to guarantee them that they won't have to pay their TOAN fee for more than the first thirty days before they are in profit. Now that is just ridiculous. General John doesn't decide how long it takes for people to sign up. You people that are dragging your heels when you could be kicking asphalt are the ones making it take longer. YOU can make it take less than thirty days by the amount of work that you do and the amount of work you inspire others around you to do. You should not be asking our brave leader for anything at all. You should be thanking him for this awesome opportunity being presented to you on a silver platter. Because regardless of what you choose to do or choose not do, this army will be successful, with or without you.

At last count we had over 1100 new recruits and around 250 spots left in the third wave. Now that means that we have 850 people more than we need to fill the third wave. Rest assured, the fourth wave is not happening until the third wave is complete, no matter how many people we have just milling around twiddling their thumbs. It is the people that are worried about just how long this is going to take, that are causing it to take longer. What blows my mind is that never in all my years of network marketing have I ever seen people hesitate to step into a situation where they are guaranteed to make money. When those 250 people do finally step up to the plate there are 850 people already waiting to be in their downline. You can see the people that are going to be putting you in profit and yet you still hesitate. What is wrong with you? Do you love failure that much?

In my opinion, I think John should give all of you a week(long since past by the way) and then kick you out of the Rip-tide Army. After all we got this far without you, we don't need you and can find others to replace you that do want to succeed.

After all of my years of failure you would think that I would have given up by now. But no, I still have the same hope and positive energy as when I first started. And the Rip-tide Army just makes it even more so. Every day I check my email looking for more words of wisdom from our General. And everyday I check both the forum and Rip-tide Army homepage for new and current updates on our statistics and just how well we are doing overall.

When doing this, I see certain trends and patterns in behaviour. It occurs to me that many of those 250 may be waiting for the overall draftee numbers to reach higher and higher numbers hoping that 1100 may become 1900 or more before the last few spots of the third wave are filled, thinking they can squeeze in at the last minute. The logic behind this is kind of obvious but flawed. People thinking this way would think that the longer they wait to pay, the less time it will be until the next wave starts to be filled. While that may be true it actually makes it take longer until you are in profit, especially if people in the next wave think the same way , because as we've learned recently it can be weeks from the time that the attack wave starts until it finishes. The quickest way to be in profit is to be as early as possible in a wave. That way as soon as the next wave starts to fill you are taken care of right away. So, by delaying you are hurting the army marginally, but injuring yourself a lot. Do yourself a favor commit or go somewhere else.

As mentioned before, I've spent nearly forty thousand dollars failing. So I have no patience or sympathy at all for anyone who is afraid to spend a couple of hundred dollars succeeding. Let me word things a little differently for you. Right now the attack waves for the Rip-tide Army are reasonably small. I believe as time goes on that the time between waves is going to become longer from 1 month to 2 then from 2 to 3 and so on. For anyone currently in wave three or signing up for wave 4 I do not believe it will take anywhere near as long as I am going to use in my example, but bear with me and just think this through for yourself.

For arguments sake, let's say that you are forty years old and only expect to live until the age of sixty five. Many of us are a lot younger and expect to live a lot longer, so my final results will be grossly underestimated, but this is just an example to give you an idea of what is on the table. You have already decided that at age sixty you are going to reach into your savings pull out every single dime and go on an awe-inspiring crazy vacation spending spree and plan to blow every dime you've ever made. You plan to be on vacation for the last five years of your life and die as close to penniless as possible.

Now let's say that I come up to you and say that for the low low price of $4800 and 3650 hours of your time(most people work 40 hours a week 50 hours a year) spread out over the next twenty years, I could guarantee that you have sixteen million dollars by the age of sixty. You wouldn't have to do anything immoral or illegal and you'd be a multimillionaire. Would you be at all interested in that kind of a deal? Especially if I could offer you incontrovertible proof that it would occur if you did as I said. Hell yes you would!!! Your going out party would be talked about for ages.

Well this is exactly what our General is offering us. For a tiny amount of money and our time he is offering us the opportunity to be millionaires. For the record in the example above I assumed that it would take five years to reach the 88k per month mark. And didn't count a single cent of the money before that point in the final figure.

Currently I expect to be at that point in a little over a year or so . As I said early is better. Fortune favors the bold. You can sign up now while the waves are still blazing fast in network marketing terms or you can wait a few more waves until it's just as slow as the old rotator system. One way or the other you are guaranteed success. It's simply a matter of how long you want to wait to attain it.

Overwhelming Number

Hi guys I hope you're doing great with what ever venture you're involved in. Today I wanna share a letter from Rip-tide Army General John Maheu about overwhelming number that Rip-tide Army has to face and the future plan.

I have been thinking about this from the beginning. And many, many ideas have come to my head.

The question is how can we sustain this growth for all members. In the further waves, people are going to have to wait for a massive list before they start to get anything. Which can very well cause the drop out rate to increase. UNLESS, we are prepared for it!

The idea is very simple. Everybody gets 3 people between each wave and we have what we need. Right?

So right at this very moment (April 11) we have 297 people TOTAL in Rip-Tide. We need 66 people to launch the next attack. We have 397 people promoting and we are only looking for 66 more. 1 goal at a time.

It will be very easy to recruit 66 people with 297 promoting. Now if EVERYBODY went out right now and just got 3 people each, we would have a new attack.

If everybody did that every day, you would have every level filled in a month! Yes, you would have $88,000 coming in every month!! YES YOU!! (who ever is reading this) So it breaks down to getting 30 people total, and you get $88,000 a month.

OK....Now, enough about that. Our success will break down in a few subjects

1. Our Army - Even though we are a team, you might not think like a team player. Teams fail because the members fail the team. It all starts with the leader. If the leader of a team does not know what he is doing, or thought it would be an easy job, or sees his/hers members as dollars signs, or doesn't have the passion needed to run a team, The team will surely fall apart.

But even if the leader is excellent, the members can fail the team. THE MEMBERS ARE THE ENTIRE TEAM!

It is so important for each member to realize they are to only do their part and NOT TO WORRY ABOUT EVERYBODY ELSE! The second you start to have doubt about your fellow members, you plant a seed of failure. Why? Because you will start to slow down your efforts or just give up altogether.

You will think that your small efforts will have no difference in your success because you won't believe in yourself or your team. You will fail like 90% of the others.

You are not to worry about everybody else. that is MY JOB! I'm sure you noticed by now that we are very hard on people who don't want to work with us. I don't mean people who are brand new or people who can only do very little. I am talking about people who do NOTHING!

I kick them out of Rip-Tide! Since the beginning, I have removed over 30 people and around 20 have quit on their own. People that don't give ANY effort are removed before their place in the Matrix. I don't plan for the day, I plan for the future.

This is done so people know without a doubt, that the other members here are the best that we can possibly get. There is no slackers here! It is important for me and for you to have only the people that are WILLING to be SUCCESSFUL. I know that it is VITAL for Rip-Tide to be successful so I will make sure it stays that way!

And look at what everybody has accomplished in less than 3 months. It might hard to see but just look around. Look at the sales page at teamriptide.ws . Look at the testimonials that are members wrote and the blogs they made. Look at the updates I wrote from the beginning of our existence. Look around the forum and see what you have here. CAN YOU FEEL THE ENERGY!

I could not do that stuff by myself. I am just 1 guy. And not to mention some of the members we have. You can't see the whole picture like I can but I get many members coming to me offering their skills. We have it ALL! I just need to organize it all. Put them all together and we have something special. You will see!

And just remember, I ask for 1 hour a day. You have plenty of other time to work on other things as well. But a lot of people told me they quit other stuff because we are the best out there!!!

2. Plan of Action - The future will come and it will bring problems with it. We must be prepared. It is my goal to reach a new attack every month. Could it be done? Yes. Was it done? No.

The reason I think for that is because our main efforts are put into Traffic Exchanges and the conversion rate has steadied out.

The problem with traffic exchanges is your trying to recruit people who are trying to recruit you. I personally hate the traffic exchanges because there is a million people looking for us and they are far from the Traffic Exchanges.

The people that are on the traffic exchanges that are working alone will fail. They might get referrals for promoting other TE's or traffic exchanges, but thats it. UNLESS, they have something that these people want. You must target the people you want to recruit.

EXAMPLE: My target in the beginning of Rip-Tide (I was alone) was the people who were already working with a team, but was waiting in a rotator. All of my ads had the words "No Rotator".

And the sign up rate was high because I "Targeted" my audience.

So the BEST PLACE for a targeted audience is the search engines....but I will get to that in a minute.

In the future we will need to improve and evolve. And I have some plans for the future. TOAN will NOT be your only source of income. In fact, I am going to take Rip-Tide to a new level. We are going offline as well as online.

There are many ways to get attention to ourselves that we haven't even began to do.

But some of this is Top Secret stuff because I don't want to get copied before I can work it out. Trust me, we will reach over a million people! You truly have no idea on what I have planned for us and the leaders with us now that are going to make it a reality! But one step at a time.

3. Working as an Army, not a mob! - Back to targeted people, we need to focus our effort as an Army and not as a mob. And we have started already with the TE attack. It's going very well!

But in order to find that million people, we need to find the people that are looking for us! And there is well over a million of them. And next year, there will be a million more.

Te best way to find these people is on search engines like Google. The way to do this is with articles, blogs, websites, forum posts, pay per click..etc. But if everybody went off to do everything all at once, their efforts would be diluted. That is how a mob would work.

We need to all do the same thing at once. If 300 people submitted one article per day for one month, we would have 9000 articles bringing in "targeted traffic".

The words "work from home" is typed into Google 2,240,000 times a MONTH! If you get your article on the front page under those keywords, you will get some traffic.

NOW...you must know how to do it. There are very strict that Google has when your not paying them to put you there. So you must be trained. I can do that. I can give people the articles they need to submit. I can give them the software to help them create them.

Also, if you do get on the front page, you won't stay there long. 2 weeks maybe if it's real good. That's why we need to all do it together. 9000 well written articles will FLOOD US with traffic. And that means sign ups. But again, one step at a time!

We are getting bigger and better everyday and will continue to do so. Complete one successful step toward your goal everyday, and it's impossible to fail! And that's what we are doing. Everybody just has to do their small part

To sum it all up for everybody.

How will we make this work?

1. The strength of our Army - We only take the people that are willing to make it work. No Slackers allowed. It might take a little longer to reach our goals, but we will have only dedicated people doing this and that will force success! Together we are a very powerful force. With all the combined effort and skill, we are truly unstoppable.

Each person ONLY HAS TO DO THEIR SMALL PART!!

2. Future Actions - We will be forced to evolve or die. We are going to reach out to people in very powerful ways to recruit. And I have some secret ways to overcome the need to make a smaller matrix but still keep the same amount of people. It's not program rolling either so don't think you know me!

We will have to make ourselves the very best on the internet. So far, it's looks like we are but we are unknown by the majority. That will change in the future.

3. Be an Army!! - We will have to do some things as a single unit in order to get the best results. And we will. That is a big reason why I make our communications as strong as possible. IT IS VITAL!!

And we have just started to act as an Army. JUST STARTED! And the results were great! Try to imagine what it will be like when we have 500 people all doing the same thing. The results will be staggering! Trust me! I just haven't proved it yet. But I will!!!!!!!!

Listen, you must realize that you are what makes your own reality. The people that decide that they are going to give Rip-Tide their action and dedication, are the ones that are going to reap the rewards from it!

If you don't believe it's possible, then get out of our Army because we can't help you. Only once you know that deserve to be successful and that you will be successful by taking action toward your goals, will you every make a living online or be successful in anything.

Twitter ( www.twitter.com ) is a social networking tool that is attracting new members daily. Twitter is free, quick and necessary for your blogging success. Short messages (called "tweets") are sent to your followers when you choose to send them. I use Twitter to promote my blogs and to find other people who share my interests. I have used Twitter to revive dead blogs and to jumpstart new ones. You can't beat Twitter when it comes to getting instant traffic to your blog (when you use it right).

Here are 6 tips to get your blog busy:

1. Connect and network with others that share your interests. This can help with link exchanges or getting traffic for your blog. Use the "search" feature and find others that are tweeting about things that interest you or are relevant to your blog topic. Follow them and they will most likely follow you back. (I spend about 20 minutes a day searching for and following people.)

2. Be unique and give value to the Twitter community. Let your personality show in what you say, and also let it show in your blog. You also need to be careful of what you tweet - one tweet rattled off in anger can truly damage your reputation and make you lose followers.

3. Promote your Twitter link. Many people use Twitter, so simply put your link in email signatures and in forum signatures - your list of followers will grow quickly. I have found that putting a Twitter link in your forum signature and then giving informative posts in a forum will guarantee people will follow you.

4. Be consistent with your tweets, but not too chatty. I make sure I send out tweets at least a few times a week - less on weekends, more during the week - and I don't get too talkative. I want people to look forward to my tweets, not groan when they see I have said something new.

5. Ask good questions. Asking a thought-provoking or controversial question with a link to your blog is a great way to get people to participate. Make sure you suggest in your tweet that people answer the question by making a comment on your blog. If you have a poll, send a tweet announcing the results - along with another link to your blog.

6. Be generous when you tweet. Become an asset to the Twitter community. Along with promoting your blog, make sure you participate in the other activity going on by answering questions and commenting on other blogs. I always answer any replies I have to something I post. I also ask questions or congratulate people when their tweets warrant it. It helps me be a welcome addition to the Twitter community.

2. Keep it Simple - Remember that visitors should always be able to easily look around your site. Don't trick them into staying too long. If visitors are frustrated and can't find the right information, they are more likely to leave quickly and are less likely to come back.

3. Provide Contact Information - Make it simple for visitors to find ways they can reach out to you. Provide an email address, form for their questions or a place they can simply write in, such as guestbook. Of course you should always be cautious not to give out too personal information.

4. Submit to Directories - Adding your site to Google and other search engines helps index it faster. Submitting this information will allow your site to be considered for future searches.
