The main thing that has made me think of my role, is that there’s been a lot of infighting at Occupy Oakland, especially toward citizen journalists. The great thing about citizen journalists, is that they aren’t controlled by anyone. Mainstream Media is told what to report, and how to report. They’re controlled by the 1%. Citizen journalists show truth. When the police get violent, most of the time the mainstream media has disappeared. Citizen journalists are still there, on the front line streaming and/or documenting.

We’re here to show the truth. We’re here to document police brutality. We’re here to show the world that the Occupy Movement is not just a bunch of violent punk kids. We want to showmthe world that the movement is fighting for everyone’s rights. We’re not the enemy.

I have met a huge amount of amazing people through the movement. People who share my passion of human rights, and of our Constitutional rights.

I’m going to continue documenting the movement. The truth needs to be shown to the world.

We don’t need more taxes, just tax everybody the same.  Make the 1% pay the same taxes as the 99%.  Stop corporations from donating to politics.  Create donation limits in politics and enforce them.

As for our Constitutional rights, I’ve seen how our country is taking away our 1st Amendment and 4th Amendment rights.  Is the Main Stream Media covering this problem?  Not as well as they should.  As it is, they’re all owned by the 1%.  So it comes down the Citizen Journalists, who have been live streaming these problems on the internet, showing people that the police are violating our rights.

It’s passed time to fight for our rights.  We need to fight for our rights.  We need to show the government that we aren’t going to stand for it anymore.  We need to start making our votes count.  We need to put people into office who are there for the 100%, not just the 1%.  We need to start taking care of our own people.

Stop making this great country into a police state.  We invade 3rd world countries to “liberate” them, while what we really need to do is liberate ourselves.

I fully support the Occupy Wall Street Movement.  It’s already a worldwide movement.  I’ve gone to three General Assemblies at Occupy Oakland.  I really like what these people have to say, and have been participating as much as I can.

Sorry if I jumped around to much in there.  This is my first political post.

The ants keep attacking my kitchen because the rain floods them out of the front yard.  Anyway, so many projects, too much rain.

In Progress:

• Front yard – I need to install sprinklers in the front yard, grade, and plant grass seed.
• Back yard – This is very low priority, but I’ll probably install sprinklers when I get the trencher for the front yard.
• Plugs and light switches – I need to finish changing out the plugs and light switches in the house.  I have a 3 rooms and two bathrooms left to change out.

New Projects:

• Master bedroom – Install blinds that I bought two years ago.
• Master bathroom – Tear floor out, install tile, paint.
• Upstairs common bathroom – Paint.
• Front door – Fix/replace door jam, possibly replace door.  The door is still good, but I’m thinking of getting a nice looking door.
• Garage – Hang drywall, install garage door opener.

I know I have a ton more things to add to the lists.  This is just a beginning.
