I know this is an old blog post, but I looked at the pictures of your 26 gallon planted aquarium and noticed a snail! Now, there is a VERY good reason for a sponge prefilter. Those little guys commit suicide on intake tubes on a regular basis. That’s why I use them in my 55 gallon.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. I've never had to deal with customer service. I wonder if this was an isolated incident or if a lot of people have had problems with them.

This company says they will ensure that you are pleased enough with our company to do business with us over and over again…that's our promise and our commitment. Well they don't answer their phone, they didn't help with algae problems, they don't call you back. I wouldn't recommend them given their poor customer service.
