“I approached Niffa who is our nutrition promoter to register my name so that I should also benefit from the project”, Mayamiko said.

Dear Friends and Supporters,

I am writing to let you know that Nikki Khoram will become the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Ripple Africa from June 2026. Nikki has been with Ripple Africa since 2015 after initially volunteering with the charity in Malawi. She is passionate about the charity and its values and has developed experience and confidence in many areas of the organisation.

Liz and I started Ripple Africa in 2003 working freely for the charity but the time has come to reduce our day-to-day involvement so that we can pursue other interests. Liz’s role has been largely taken over by Hassan, our Finance Manager and Claire, Head of Accounts and Donor Relations, and I plan to take more time off now that Nikki will be the COO. However, I will still remain very involved as the Chief Executive Officer for many years to come.

Our aim is to continue with our charity ethos and values which are what have made Ripple Africa such an amazing organisation.

With sincere thanks for your continued support.

Geoff Furber MBE
CEO and Co-Founder

Rachel and Jack volunteered with Ripple Africa 10 years ago and have now returned with their two children, Reuben and Alice, to spend three weeks with us at Mwaya Beach!

Almost two weeks in, the family have fully immersed themselves into rural Malawi life, and have attended pre-school sessions, spent time getting their hands dirty with fruit tree clubs, and helped a householder make a fuel-efficient cookstove.

Jack has been repairing computers at Kapanda Community Day Secondary School, Rachel has been meeting project beneficiaries to see how the projects are impacting their lives, and the Reuben and Alice have been making friends with the local children at every project they visit.

Trips to Ripple Africa are not holidays, they are designed to provide even the youngest of visitors with memories that will last a lifetime and that will help shape how they view the world around them.
