I've known Zack now for almost five years now, since he was like sixteen. He was the weird kid who always had weed and was busting ritalin's every five minutes. He also made beats and turned me onto carnival-Hyphy shit like Team Knoc and Blapstar. Anyways he's lived in Hollyhood and LA for the last coupla years, schooling grindin' you know livin....all the while making beats. Over the years they have evolved from minimalist slap beats(my personal fave, come on Zack embrace yr. darkside again!) to his newewst corner of the musical world; chilled out highway synth shit....I haven't seen Drive but from what people have told me this steez is all over the movie, not a bad thing at all. Anyways I'll try and let the music do more talking than me...I'll just say that if your a fan of Super Nintendo, pharmaceutical Uppers, Bay area hip hop, or anything else really give this shit a try. Alright, so here it goes; the umpteenth attempt to resurrect a stubborn mule. Last six months have been pretty damn eventful most of us here got our first taste of a Norcal harvest, and I must say it was a beautiful experience, that was of course balanced with an equal amount of time in jail....but who cares? Oh by the way Ryan handles dead people for money so call him a monster when you see him. Musically I got to say 2011 was kind of a bust, or maybe it's just that a lot of the trends from the last couple of years have kind of ran it's course, or maybe that's all just a reflection on myself. hmmm. Expect more seemingly unrelated pulp trash to be spewed at irregular intervals...

CRIMESCENE MERCH has put up shirts to correlate with all of the Cult of The Seven Crowns releases that came out on A389 earlier this month, the Penetration Panthers seven inch is available on clear vinyl with pink swirls real radical, and all that Gehenna related ish is fucking choice as hell you should stop by A389 and scope around they just dropped a bunch of stuff that has never really been heard except for by small circles of people in darklit rooms and copious wafts bongsmoke. All the stuff is out on Itunes too if you are so inclined....I tell you what I never expected something I recorded to be on Itunes but thats the modern world for you I suppose.

Feeding People are homies from Orange County with Louis and Mike coming from the all-mighty and terribly underrated/unknown band BRONCO TATONKA, if you are familliar with that band you might have some idea what you are getting into but this is a lot more focused, not so blatantly cacophonic but if you know those dudes then their sound wouldn't shock you at all, they play SUPER heavy psychedelic in the vein of THIRTEENTH FLOOR ELEVATORS or newer groups like CELEBRATION. In fact like CELEBRATION their singer has a HUUUUUUUUGE POWERFUL voice youd be real surprised thats she's like barely 18 and teeny tiny but can belt like motherfucker, when the Panthers were recording in January we got to listen to the tape that they had recorded and man o man is it a doozy all self-recorded and absolutely far-out. They are playing Outsleazed Fest friday night and a couple of parties on Saturday make sure to catch them they are not to be missed. You can pick up a cassette tape of theirs from Burger Records, search this band out cuz they doin thangs for sure

Alright alright Juicy J has been doing it hard as of the last two or so years and Lex Luger has taken the world by storm with his steroid-times-a-million-crunk-on-elm street-super-future shit. No lie I love Lex Luger it's damn near perfect in my mind. Now, it's not like they have done anything they didn't do on the last one, and I can understand how some might get old of Juicy J's modus operandi. Which literally is Weed, Pills, Pussy and Guns ONLY over and over and over and over again. Surely not for everyone, but before you hate, throw this in the best car stereo system you have access to and bomb down the highway with a car full of friends and tell me it doesn't do the damn trick. For all those who have ignored Three Six Mafia since their television show, grammy, and LolliPop song I would advise you to check out the last couple of Juicy J mixtapes, not gonna speak so much for DJ Paul but Juicy J is on some next shit, as far as 'trap music' he's definitely perfected the method. If the blog has been neglected its cuz all of us have been having a pretty fruitful real-world. In January the Penetration Panthers recorded twelve songs in Costa Mesa California, three of those songs are gonna be released on a seven inch coming out on A389 sometime in the near future keep checking back, anyways plans for a full length by the end of the year and some dates around California and the Northwest this summer, here's a lil' taste of what we've cooked up, Lipstick and Leather is on the seven inch but the version on Youtube is a demo from a couple years back, Wasted Mind is from the sessions earlier this year.
