Alright, so here it goes; the umpteenth attempt to resurrect a stubborn mule. Last six months have been pretty damn eventful most of us here got our first taste of a Norcal harvest, and I must say it was a beautiful experience, that was of course balanced with an equal amount of time in jail....but who cares? Oh by the way Ryan handles dead people for money so call him a monster when you see him. Musically I got to say 2011 was kind of a bust, or maybe it's just that a lot of the trends from the last couple of years have kind of ran it's course, or maybe that's all just a reflection on myself. hmmm. Expect more seemingly unrelated pulp trash to be spewed at irregular intervals...

Korine, Franco, and Selena Gomez! SPRINGBREAKERS

noreply@blogger.com (Austin Pratt) — Tue, 06 Dec 2011 22:36:00 +0000

Tryna resuscitate this thing after a shit storm of a half a year. stolen computer etc.. lessdoodiss.

Just caught wind from harmony-korine.com that in addition to the three-part film installation "Rebel" from earlier this year that Harmony Korine and James Franco collaborated on, they'll be shooting a new film called "SPRINGBREAKERS" starring Disney Channel diva Selena Gomez, Franco, and Rachel Korine. hyped!

"[Spring Breakers] follows four college-aged girls who rob a fast food restaurant to afford spring break in Florida, only to get arrested upon their arrival… Alien, a rapping drug and arms dealer, bails them out and entices them to kill his arch-rival, a murderer who is appropriately named Arch."-slash film

"Roberts would play a Southerner who feeds off danger, while Gomez would play a religious girl. The rest of the group would include Hudgens. Franco will co-star as a drug and arms dealer who bails them out of jail." - variety

Penetration Panthers Update

noreply@blogger.com (fredwasright) — Thu, 14 Jul 2011 22:28:00 +0000

CRIMESCENE MERCH has put up shirts to correlate with all of the Cult of The Seven Crowns releases that came out on A389 earlier this month, the Penetration Panthers seven inch is available on clear vinyl with pink swirls real radical, and all that Gehenna related ish is fucking choice as hell you should stop by A389 and scope around they just dropped a bunch of stuff that has never really been heard except for by small circles of people in darklit rooms and copious wafts bongsmoke. All the stuff is out on Itunes too if you are so inclined....I tell you what I never expected something I recorded to be on Itunes but thats the modern world for you I suppose.

Feeding People Feeding People

noreply@blogger.com (fredwasright) — Tue, 21 Jun 2011 02:00:00 +0000

Feeding People are homies from Orange County with Louis and Mike coming from the all-mighty and terribly underrated/unknown band BRONCO TATONKA, if you are familliar with that band you might have some idea what you are getting into but this is a lot more focused, not so blatantly cacophonic but if you know those dudes then their sound wouldn't shock you at all, they play SUPER heavy psychedelic in the vein of THIRTEENTH FLOOR ELEVATORS or newer groups like CELEBRATION. In fact like CELEBRATION their singer has a HUUUUUUUUGE POWERFUL voice youd be real surprised thats she's like barely 18 and teeny tiny but can belt like motherfucker, when the Panthers were recording in January we got to listen to the tape that they had recorded and man o man is it a doozy all self-recorded and absolutely far-out. They are playing Outsleazed Fest friday night and a couple of parties on Saturday make sure to catch them they are not to be missed. You can pick up a cassette tape of theirs from Burger Records, search this band out cuz they doin thangs for sure

noreply@blogger.com (x-ray cat) — Sat, 11 Jun 2011 06:24:00 +0000

It's a friday night.... alone again, which is the way I love it, nobody to bother nobody to intrude just pure, progress, paint to surface, hand to dick, substance to body, music to ear etc. etc. you know the drill if you know whats good for you. Also if you know whats good for you, you will pick up this record : New Brigade, By: Ice Age. It is some quality post-punk esque stuff but we all know that explains nothing. Anyway, this record is on Dais Records and put out this year so grab it quick or ebay it or pirate it if its sold out, has some ultra rad riffs in there.

Fuck yeah !! summer is almost here and its time to pick up your 'Merican cape and a motorcycle and break a leg or an arm (literally do it, break that fucker). The world was supposed to end May 21st but i guess that didn't happen because were still here and you're reading this shit, so that's good... or is it?? Naaaah its good, the swap meet is still open and Psilocybin is still as killer as ever. tomorrow will be my first psychedelic experience in almost 2 years now, the last one was a little drug some call 5-MEO-DMT otherwise known in some circles as super acid bobby hill dmt freak show. To this day I am followed around by a giant jewel encrusted panther bigger than a 1-ton van and resembling lady death better than any image I have seen since. I know change is looming, whether that be death, war, incarceration, or a personal hell that I created for myself by twangin' and wailin' on the whammy bar too much, or going to the suburbs too much to kick it with a bunch of rich white girls, or spending every last dime at stadium market on Nick's juice. To the future we all march! It never ends, it never ceases we just march forth into the New America, the Real America, Freak America!! Wish me luck fellow Psychenauts!

THE 4TH IS FASTLY APPROACHING HOW ARE YOU GOING TO CELEBRATE?? BLOW SHIT UP? BURN SHIT DOWN? CAST SPELLS ON YOURSELF AND HUFF PAINT? GO TO THE SUBURBS AND EAT PILLS AND DUST? SMOKE DUST ? GO TO SPACE? ALL OF THE ABOVE I SAY...

oh and the top pictures are as follows.

noreply@blogger.com (fredwasright) — Mon, 30 May 2011 09:15:00 +0000

Alright alright Juicy J has been doing it hard as of the last two or so years and Lex Luger has taken the world by storm with his steroid-times-a-million-crunk-on-elm street-super-future shit. No lie I love Lex Luger it's damn near perfect in my mind. Now, it's not like they have done anything they didn't do on the last one, and I can understand how some might get old of Juicy J's modus operandi. Which literally is Weed, Pills, Pussy and Guns ONLY over and over and over and over again. Surely not for everyone, but before you hate, throw this in the best car stereo system you have access to and bomb down the highway with a car full of friends and tell me it doesn't do the damn trick. For all those who have ignored Three Six Mafia since their television show, grammy, and LolliPop song I would advise you to check out the last couple of Juicy J mixtapes, not gonna speak so much for DJ Paul but Juicy J is on some next shit, as far as 'trap music' he's definitely perfected the method. I picked it up off DatPiff but there are other mixtape sites with it up....WE TRIPPY MANE

Blackbird Blackbird - Halo LP

noreply@blogger.com (fredwasright) — Mon, 30 May 2011 08:37:00 +0000

This dude is relatively prolific and pretty damn reliable, I actually like this one more than I did the last LP...I prefer when he's not singing on the tracks, cuz then it's kinda like second-rate PandaBear but the girls on this are good, and the beats seem to be a little dancier good ish all-around.
