What woman doesn’t like to get jewelry? I mean I do and I am must say I am partial to rings and bracelets more than anything. I also really like finding not only statement pieces but pieces that mean something to me. The Vintage Pearl has hand stamped jewelry that meets both of those requirements. The Vintage Pearl began in 2007 by a mom and dad who wanted a creative outlet while staying home with their children.

The Vintage Pearl was so great to send me a birthstone ring to review. I chose the July birthstone because it is Edgar’s (my hubby) and I wanted a piece of jewelry that reminded me of him whenever I wear it. The ring is handmade from start to finish and they can stamp a name or date on the inside for you if you choose. I did not because I wanted this piece of jewelry to be something I could pass on later to my children.

I must say that this is simply a beautiful ring in its simplicity. The stone is small and simple but the impact of it stunning. I love hat I can wear it with my jeans or with something dressier. It simple goes with anything. I wear mine most days and whenever I look down I am reminded of my wonderful husband which was my intent.

The box the ring was packaged in was great as well. That tiny little pearl charm has made a wonderful pendant on a necklace for Victoria. She loves it!

Finding clothing that doesn’t show everything you got can at times be difficult. For me if I buy something that is longer, since I am short it will be way too long. On the flip side something that is normally short may fit okay but sometimes it just doesn’t. I love to wear skirts but I want one that doesn’t show everything I got when I  bend over. ModestPop helps me do just that by providing modest clothing that are still stylish and fun.

ModestPop was so wonderful to send me the Julia Skirt to review. I must say that I really love the red color. It is bright without being overpowering which is great for a day out running errands or even a date night with the hubby.  It is just the right length and washes well. Not to mention it is true to size. I wore it the other day to the hospital and in this 90 degree weather it is not to heavy and allowed me to not feel so hot.

I paired it with a black  top because I wanted to keep the look casual but I could just as easily pair it with a jacket or sweater for night time. A frilly top with some great heels would make it perfect for date night. The skirt is so simple that pairing it with other items is very easy. There is not a lot that you could not pair it with. Now this is not your standard insulated cup, it is in fact designed for those frozen beverages. It says on the side “Stays Frozen Longer” so I knew right away that it was the cup for me.  I can use it when I am out and about but I can use it when I am working here at my desk. When I put ice into the cup it doesn’t melt as quickly. I also like that it really doesn’t sweat that much.

Insulated Cups?

I know you are all thinking why in the world I am writing a post about insulated cups. I am beginning a new plan, I guess is what you would call it. I really want to share many more things about my life and my family. My insulated cup shows who I am.  I am trying to be as green as I can, although I feel as though I am not doing enough yet. I feel like these more personal posts will be a great way to show you insights into my life and all the quirkiness that is me. I would love to know what you think about my insulated cup! I am loving it, it was the best $5 I spent in a while.
