Flashing Factory Image of Nexus S GSM Jelly Bean

Note: This is only working on stock recovery no CWM installed or TWRP recovery and this tutorial is for STOCK ICE CREAM SANDWICH 4.0.4

All you need is the following

1. Nexus S GSM
2. USB Drivers: Google them :)
3. Fastboot files: Download Here
4. Jelly Bean Factory Image :Download Here

Instructions:
1) download all necessary files
2) extract fastboot into a directory
3) extract factory image and rename it and put .zip format (ex. factory.zip)extract it again and you will see the following files boot.img, recovery.img,system.img, userdata.img, bootloader, and radio.
4) after put it in fastboot directory
5) put your phone in you PC/Laptop
6) enable USB debugging
7) run command prompt and go to your fastboot directory
8) make sure your devices is recognized: type adb devices
9) then after do the following:
* adb reboot bootloader
* fastboot flash radio.img - this will flash the radio from factory images
* fastboot flash system.img - this will flash system image
* fastboot flash userdata.img - this will flash the userdata image
* fastboot flash recovery.img - this will flash the stock recovery
* fastboot flash boot.img - this will flash the boot image
* fastboot erase cache - this will erase all the cache in your phone
* fastboot reboot - wait for your phone to boot in homescreen

how to root your cherry magnum HD/ Ideos X6

First step: Replace original recovery with ClockWorkmod Recovery
1. Download ClockWorkMod Recovery
2. Put the device in download mode (Power+Vol Up) and connect to PC,
and the PC will recognize the device as Removable Disc/Storage open it and you will find FIH > Image folder and select recovery.img, copy it anywhere to your PC as backup just in case if anything go wrong
3. Replace recovery.img in 'image' folder with recovery.img inside the Clockworkmod Recovery v4.0.0.9 you download and extracted earlier
4. Disconnect device from PC, open up the battery and reboot.

Second step (DO FIRST STEP FIRST): Rooting the phone
1. Download Su 2.3.6.3 signed.zip and put it in sdcard (but don't put it in any folder)
2. Put the device in recovery mode (Power+Vol Up & Vol Down)
3. Select "install zip from sdcard" and select "Choose zip from sdcard" and search for 'Su 2.3.6.3 signed.zip' and click install.
4. Select "back" and click "reboot system now"

Dennis Hong: Making a car for blind drivers

When I saw this video, I was amazed by the technology and Mr. Dennis Hong gave hope for the blinds to experience on how to sit and drive a car. I was thinking about the technology also that a car can drive on its own so why those blinds make themselves drive a car when a self car driving exist? one person comment just like what I thought then Mr. Dennis Hong answered this way "Besides freedom and independence, the reason why the blind wanted a car where they can 'drive' was to show the world that, with a little bit of technology, they can do things most other people can do. For me, this gives me a chance to inspire other researchers to look into the problem of developing technology for the blind. That being said, I think one would like a car where he/she can both drive and be driven, whether blind or sighted. Even if I purchase an autonomous car in the future, I am sure I will like to 'drive' it time to time, as it is a fun activity for me."

If NO close this window and read another of my blog post. :) then if YES then let's proceed, well I'm experiencing it right now being pressured of my thesis project because I don't know where to start, in the application or in the documentation. A lot of questions goes through my mind, is my thesis project is usable? is my thesis project worth it? can I make it? can I defend it to the final defense? I just wanna share this video, when he was a 14 year old guy he built his family an electric producing windmill from spare parts and scraps, working from plan he found in the library book entitle "Using Energy" from this windmill it can light a 4 bulbs and can turned on a radio. Even though their lifestyle in their country is hard but still he made it. It is worth watching guys. :)

professors must understand his/her students

I just want to share this feeling with you guys. :| I just can't move on with this, first thing in school our professor's must understand us right? Last Friday March 18, 2011 is the deadline of our project in one of our major subject, I was in a hurray that day because I need to finalized the projects and review if there is some error that will occur, after I reviewed it of-course I saved it and go to school just to pass it but then I forgot to save the videos that I used in the project, our home is 28KM away to my school and I can't simply go back to our home because I came to school is almost 4pm and the deadline is 5pm. I go to faculty room and I tried to convince my professor that, if it is okay that I should pass our project on Saturday March 19, 2011 because I forgot to bring the CD where I already burn our project and unfortunately in the flask this I forgot to save the videos that I used in the project but it seems that our prof is not believing in me, our prof didn't understand how I felt that day, it seems that the reasons that I've told to my prof is a lie. so sad :(

This morning, my fellow students of Computer Studies department had a voluntary in helping our instructors to conduct a survey in our adopted barangay in Cagayan de Oro City, Barangay Puntod. This is the first time I stepped in this place, the people out their is so cooperative, fun and serious, when we asked the survey questions.

Our school conducted a survey like this so that they can monitored the people living their on how our school can helped them for this year. Maybe our school will holding some seminar, training, and programs after they evaluate those survey forms. I hope this survey will had a good outcome because I observed in the place many are out of school youth and some of the people their are college under-grad, high school/ elementary graduate only. even though the people in this place is unfortunate in terms of their career but still they seems so happy because they always wear a smile on their face.

I know our survey is really worth it. From now on I'm going to pray for them.

Today the whole world is celebrating this Saint Valentines Day specially those couples and married couples, but did you know the story behind this day?

In Rome, Saint Valentine was a priest who persecuted and interrogated by Roman Emperor Claudius II. Why? Its because, Emperor Claudius II ordered that all the young men must remain single because Emperor Claudius II wanted to raised an army by this young men, believing that married men will not make it to be a good soldier. The priest Valentine performed secret marriage ceremonies for the lovers. When Emperor Claudius II found out, priest Valentine actions, Emperor Claudius II ordered that priest Valentine should put into death.

In modern story they added that on the evening before Valentine to be executed, he had wrote the first valentine card himself addressed to a jailer's daughter - who visited him before his execution, he wrote her a letter noted "from your valentine" an expression that still visible to the letters today. The stories certainly emphasizing his appeal as a heroic and most of all a romantic figure. Saint Valentine is one of the most popular saints in England
