On Tuesday Atlanta based rapper T.I. who was inspired by the 2014 World Cup, debuted the official music video for the song called “No Mediocre” on MTV.

The song features few fiery lines from his blonde bombshell of a protégée Iggy Azalea who makes a very unforgettable cameo in the clip.

The visual for “No Mediocre” was filmed entirely in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and was directed by Director X.

The clip is very simple, the cameras followed the Grand Hustle CEO as he met with beautiful ladies, played little bit of soccer and partied in a luxurious mansion.

The Australian rapper made a brief appearance in the music video in a pair of shorts to spit her rhymes and show off some sensual dance moves.

The reality star was slammed by few people for the sexist tone of the track.

He replied by saying that he never meant to insult women, he was hoping to uplift them so they can push themselves physically and mentally.

TIP who rapped about being with several ladies at once and can not be with a woman who is not shaved said:

“For me I think it was something to uplift women.It’s a get-your-sh—together-type of-record.”

He further explained:

“It’s denouncing mediocrity, man; all things sub-standard or below average or even moderately average should be set aside, man, and I think it starts internally.You must first have confidence and security within yourself, it goes from the heart, to the mind and then it is conveyed through your actions and your presentation of yourself.”

“No Mediocre” is the second single lifted from T.I.’s new album Paperwork due out this fall.

DJ Cassidy and R. Kelly want music to “Make The World Go Round” in new video.

DJ Cassidy has premiered the music video for his new single “Make The World Go Round” featuring R&B king R. Kelly.

The disco-tainted track is taken from the famous DJ’s upcoming Paradise Royale album that will be out later this year.

“Make The World Go Round” is the follow-up to “Calling All Hearts” that features Jessie J and Robin Thicke which performed very well in the United Kingdom peaking at number 6.

In the video that was directed by X., R. Kelly and his collaborator hop on a train, that they turn into a hot party spot where everyone is trying to have some fun.

The vibe is obviously upbeat and the fun atmosphere could turn the song into a summer anthem. Paradise Royale will contain cameos from Usher, Mary J Blige, John Legend and Cee Lo Green.

According to early reviews it is a very solid album that pays homage to an era that is close to Cassidy’s heart. It took him over 4 years to see this project through.

If Paradise Royale needed any lift in terms of promotion, this enchanting new video can probably help. R. Kelly’s voice really shines through here and the production is very meticulous.

It’s palpable that the whole thing was not forced at all. The chemistry seems real, natural and not manufactured. There is a real viral aspect to the clip, we can only hope for the two talented artists that it takes off.

DJ Cassidy has been touring the world talking about and promoting Paradise Royale. As for the Piper of R&B he has songs with Jennifer Hudson and Keyshia Cole lined up for the rest of 2014.

The music legend is also believed to be working on the soundtrack to the James Brown biopic Get on Up that will premiere on August 1 in the US. A new tour could also be in the cards.

R. Kelly son Jay comes out as transgender and the media jumps on it. One of R. Kelly’s children has announced that he is a transgender. The teen who was born a female with the name Jaya is now known as Jay and plans to have surgery later on in life to be the person he was meant to be.

Jay who is 14 years old has been spending a lot of time on his page on Ask.fm where he announced that he is a transgender guy.

The child of R&B singer R. Kelly and his ex-wife, VH1 Hollywood Exes reality star Andrea Kelly explained that he knew that he was a boy since the age of 6 or 7.

The Ukulele playing teen has answered over one thousand questions on his transitioning from female to male.

He confessed that while he is attracted to girls he has not started dating as yet because he does not feel ready.

Asked if he has announced the news to his parents, Jay said that his mother is very supportive and told him that she loves him very much.

Mrs Kelly now uses him, his and handsome when talking about him.

He is not in contact with his father and has no idea if the singer/songwriter is aware that he’s newly out as transgender.

Jay finds his dad’s music cool and can not say if his pop is embarrassed by him.

Thus far the only changes he has made to really appear more masculine are cutting his hair and wearing more hoodies.

But that will change when he turns 18 – which is when he plans the “changes gender from through surgery and hormones.”

Few things that bug him – his monthly cycle and being mistaken for a girl.

The teenager also admitted that he is a Christian and hopes to work to pay for his operations.

After a slight delay, Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj has debuted the official music video for “Pills N Potions”.

The clip was supposed to premiere during Minaj’s appearance on Kelly & Michael on Monday morning but due the clip’s content it was instead uveiled on Vevo on Tuesday morning.

The Diane Martel-directed music video is very simple and contains visual effects from Geoffrey Lillemon such as a PEZ dispenser, dancing bunnies, a very vulnerable Minaj with rabbit ears crying metal tears over her love interest played by The Game.

When she is not weeping over her lost love, the “Chi-Raq” artist showed him what he is missing by appearing topples laying on the ground.

The Other Woman actress even got Kill Bill on us by holding The Game’s detached head under her arm, how creepy.

The simplistic imagery certainly fits the overall mood of the sad and emotional song, but expect few to disagree and to call it boring or to complain about the ad placement for her perfume and head phones.

Talking to Kelly Ripa and Taye Diggs about the popish sounding tune, the entertainer explained:

“I put the song out maybe a week or two ago and it’s been my most critically acclaimed single ever. Sometimes I’ll get a beat or a hook and I’ll write just what it tells me, what it feels like. And what that felt like to me was ‘forgiveness.’ And just understanding that everybody gets mad, but when you love somebody, I feel like you’ll always love them. I don’t feel like there’s ever been a person that I loved that I no longer love. I just may not be able to live with you or have you in my life. And that’s what really what the song is about.”

Lil’ Kim new baby girl Royal Reign made her debut today. Queen Bee now has a princess. Lil’ Kim has a new baby girl with boyfriend Mr. Papers and the pair has chosen the name Royal Reign for their bundle of joy.

On Monday Lil’ Kim gave birth to a baby girl named Royal Reign at the Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey.

Royal Reign arrived at 9:58 a.m. and weighing in at 6 pounds, 5 ounces.

While the rapper has yet to announce the birth, a source close to her spoke to several media outlets saying that both mother and daughter are doing fine.

Another thing that Miss Kimberly Denise Jones is not talking about is who is the father of the infant.

The New York based artist said that she was expecting her first child in January and revealed the gender of the baby during the Easter holiday but never gave any clues who the proud papa was.

But all indicates that a man who goes by the stage name Mr. Paper is the father.

In April the 39-year-old rapper attended an extravagant baby shower put together by David Tutera where she arrived holding Paper’s hand.

During the royal themed-soiree which was filmed for WEtv the rapper was seen rubbing Kim’s belly and offering her flowers.

Ahead of the baby shower the “Lady Marmalade” artist tweeted that her baby daddy had given her a new car.

The veteran rapper who left her print in the rap world with albums like “La Bella Mafia” and “The Naked Truth” later added:

‘I couldn’t have wished for a more special day.I’m just so excited to be having a little princess. She’s just going to be so girlie and fabulous – just like her mommy.’

While Royal is Lil Kim’s first child, Mr. Paper is already dad to a 5-year-old boy whose nickname is Lil’ Prince.

Paper and the Grammy-winning rapper have been dating since May of 2012, the pair broke up briefly late 2012/early 2013 and rekindled the fling that same year.

First in Nylon magazine and now via his Instagram account, Usher is publicly defending Justin Bieber after two videos surfaced of the Canadian star making racist jokes about black people while using the word ni**er.The Voice’s judge is now facing a backlash over his decision to support Bieber.

Last week two videos which were filmed five years ago were unearthed on TMZ showing a 15-year-old Justin Bieber making disturbing jokes about African-Americans.

In both clips he repeatedly used the n-word and laughed about joining the Klu Klux Klan.

The now-20-year star issued an apology and explained that he is a changed man.

Rapper 50 Cent, Chris Brown, Lil’ Wayne and Usher have taken to social media to show support for the controversial entertainer.

On Saturday, Usher who is considered as the “Baby” artist’s mentor posted a picture of the two and explained that his protégé is not racist.

Mr Raymond wrote:

“At my core, I am a person that supports growth and understands without judgement, that growth often comes as a result of pain and continues effort. As I have watched Justin Bieber navigate difficult waters as a young man, I can tell you that he hasn’t always chosen the path of his greatest potential, but he is unequivocally not a racist. What he was 5 years ago was a naive child who did not understand the negative power and degradation that comes from playing with racial slurs. The R&B superstar who is featured in Nylon Guys magazine’s June/July 2014 issue also spoke to the publication about the advice he gave the young crooner on how to be a better human being. The 35-year-old actor said:

“I gave every bit of advice and always told him it was up to him if he really wanted this. Now that he has it, as an adult, it’s his to manage. Do I turn my head in shame based off of what I see, what I know? Nah, I don’t because it’s all part of life’s process. Am I in it with him? Yeah. It’s unfortunate. I hate some of the things I hear. Is it all true? I don’t know. But I will tell you this: Success comes with a price. Every person that has grown up, grows through something. It ain’t just perfect from the beginning.”

Usher’s defense caused an uproar, with many of his fans pointing to the fact that Bieber is the same person that he was 5 years ago.

Others blasted the “Good Kisser” singer for backing a white person who is making him wealthy despite the fact that he is frequently caught making incentive remarks about blacks.

Iggy Azalea who turned 24 on Saturday is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Billboard magazine.

Azalea adopts a very humble tone in the accompanying interview, where she spoke about wanting a long career instead of being a one-hit wonder. The “Problem” hit woman told the mag the following on being the first artist since The Beatles to sit at number 1 and 2 on the Hot 100 chart simultaneously with her first hits.

She commented:

“It doesn’t mean anything. I’d rather be The Rolling Stones.”

In a surprising move, she also dissed pop music sensation Lorde for covering Nirvana during the group April’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. When asked about the inclusion of the “Royals” artist in the ceremony, she said:

“Nothing against her, but I think when you’re doing a tribute to someone that’s dead, generally it should be the person’s peer. Lorde is not Kurt Cobain’s peer. No matter if she killed the performance or not, I just don’t think it’s appropriate.”

The New Zealand teen star probably did not see this one coming since she was defending Iggy online when her album The New Classic was getting blasted by critics.

Sensing that she may have done the wrong move with her comment, Iggy took to Twitter few hours ago to clear things out. She tweeted:

The Nicki Minaj “Pills N Potions” video teaser contains some odd and interesting shots such as a bunny-shaped PEZ dispenser releasing pills and a small rabbit toy with drums.

The “Pills N Potions” video will apparently unveil a more subtle, vulnerable and feminine Minaj.

Controversial rapper The Game plays her love interest in the visual which is set to premiere in full this Monday on LIVE with Kelly and Michael.

The two hip hop stars met for the very first time while shooting the clip that some people say will be raunchier than the preview suggests. We think not, either way she looks flawless and her natural beauty is seriously starting to shine through.

On Thursday the members of R&B group TLC appeared on Channel 7’s Sunrise in Australia where they were asked to comment on Rihanna’s revealing dress at the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards.

Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins slammed the Barbadian star by saying that she does not need to be naked all the time:

“Every time I see you, you don’t have to be naked.It’s easy to sell sex.”

T-Boz went on to add:

“It’s hard for us to say anything because any time we do, they say, ‘Oh TLC must be jealous’, but I call a spade a spade.”

Chilli further explained that TLC became a major success without selling their bodies.

TMZ posted the new clip where the young artist changes the lyrics to his hit song “One Less Lonely Girl,” by replacing “girl” with the N-word.

Bieber and his team supposedly wanted this new leak to happen in order to move forward and leave the controversy behind. They also did not want to be blackmailed over the whole thing.

The “Baby” artist reportedly talked about the tape with mentors like Usher and Will Smith over four years ago.

The Biebs was around 14 when the controversial video was shot, he turned 20 in March.
