Holy Trinity Church Stratford – Wedding
Earlier in the year, on a rainy summers day, was a very interesting wedding. It started off at the brides home followed by a horse and carriage to the Holy Trinity Church Stratford Upon Avon. The day was then followed off at the Alveston Manor in Stratford Upon Avon.
The Holy Trinity Church – Stratford Upon Avon is better known for Shakespeare’s Grave. Thousands of visitors per year ascend on this Church so to get the opportunity to photograph a wedding was a great opportunity.
Although photography at weddings at this venue is relatively strict and rain limited the outdoor shots the couple were fantastic as you can see below all the key church shots were n’t missed.
Following the Holy Trinity Church Stratford the wedding breakfast was held at the Alveston Manor Stratford

Gold Award – Traditional Portrait Photography
Coventry Portrait Photographer – Robert Newman Photography recently recieved a gold award upgrade from the SWPP in the category Traditional Portratiture. This is only the second image in this category I have ever entered and both have now recieved a Gold award for Traditional Portraiture.
This image was taken very simplistically with basic equipment. It hand a front LED Light at a 45 degree angle on a tripod and a rear hand held LED light. Both lights cost £20 each and was taken on a D700 with a kit lens.

The compeititon is monthly with numerous different categories this one was entered back in January and at the time was awarded a Silver which has now been upgraded to a Gold award. The thing about the traditional portraiture category is the simplicity required for the imagery, both awards have been simple lighting and two great models.

Yesterday I had great fun in photographing Pete’s & Cathy’s 25th Wedding Anniversary. The majority of the guests were ones which had spent their wedding day with them and the rest were friends they had met on their journey together.
With my enjoyment being wedding photography, photographing a couple that have spent 25 years together and meeting their wedding photographer and seeing the original wedding photographs for me was great.
A small studio was set -up in a back room with a black background and 2 lights, shot on the Nikon D700.

Hampton Manor Wedding
A couple of weeks ago we photographed a lovely couple at Hampton Manor in Solihull.
The day started in the small village of Norton Lindsay at a small beautiful church before then moving onto Hampton Manor , where the guests were all greeted by the father of the Bride on his saxophone.

The Hampton Manor Wedding images were all taken on the Nikon D700 with a mixture of lenses, but primarily a 50mm and a 15mm Fisheye.
