Do you desire to try Project 365? Admire everyone's 365 photos? Are you like me who has been trying for over 4 years and never seem to complete it? Missed so many days it becomes frustrating, even stressful? Ok, so you did get your daily photo but never scrapped them? Well this is ALL me and guessing most of you.

I have been trying to do Project 365 since 2007. The first year was bad, didn't make it much at all. The next 2 years were better, but still missed 100 days or more. Each and every year I struggle with the decision to take on this project and each year I feel if I don't do it, I am really going to miss out. I do go back and look at my photos, unscrapped, and do see the rewards of the project. There are so many photo's I DID capture that I wouldn't otherwise have. So I decided to take the photos from 2011 and pick 1 for each week. That is only 52 photos. And I only have to scrap 12 layouts. Wow, if you really think about it in those numbers, it seems so much more manageable and I get them scrapped and into my books.

New today at CatScrap is the beginning of my Hwy 52 Collection. I created a set of 12 x 12 AND 8.5 x 11 templates to help you complete your Project 52. Each template set is on sale thru the weekend for only $4.00.

A super simple design and few elements to get your photos scrapped. These template are so versatile, the can be used for any layout including Project 365, just replace photos with paper. Each set has 3 layouts for 4 photos and 1 layout for 5 photos. And the journaling is easy to use, just type it in.

I also create a simple number set too! Add this coordinating set of numbers from 0 - 9 and includes a tag too (you don't have to use the tag) for only $1.60.

I have already created 4 layouts for 2011. I have my Project 52 already done from January thru April.

Santa will be coming soon to our house, presents are all wrapped and under the tree. Cookies are made and ready to eat with a full mug of milk. I will be taking a few days off from posting to spend time with the family.

Christmas . . . Day 24

Only one more day to go. This post will be another quick one. I had a great Birthday, came home from work and the kids had cleaned the house!!!! YES!!!! Went out for family portraits, first in 4 years, and then to dinner. Came home and had a cake made by the kids. Watched a movie " Christmas Vacation" with Chevy Chase, gotta love that movie, such a classic, and now I need to wrap presents.

It is the 23rd and Happy Birthday to ME!!! Yes, I am a Christmas Baby. Came home on Christmas Day. Here I am with my two older sisters. My first Christmas.

When I left the hospital, they put me in a Christmas Stocking. Here are my sisters trying to put me back in a year later.

Here is a Christmas layout I did a couple of years ago. This was my dogs first Christmas. I have a whole album of layouts of just him.

Today, was another day of making gifts at the bakery. It was super busy too. Everyone coming in for gifts and bread for their holiday dinners. The whole bakery smells soooooo good with all the freshly baked fruit and cinnamon breads, cookies everywhere, pumpkin chocolate chip bread, apple and pumpkin pies. Oh and YES, I am doing Weight Watchers and it is NOT easy with all the temptations. I am constantly nibbling and all the scones and muffins. The owner of the bakery is doing weight watchers too. The two of us have our stash of fruit and I talk to her about burying my heads in the humongous mixing bowl (large enough to fit my whole head and shoulders) of freshly whipped cream cheese frosting that looks so smooth and creamy and smells divine. I am always wanting to lick the mixer beaters too, but I know that wouldn't be so good and the beaters are the size of my torso. This is where I work. Ya, I did the website too.

I work at a bakery, Great Harvest Bakery, and for the last 3 days, I have been making gift sets and making bow, making gift sets and making bows, making more gift sets and making more bows. I am kinda tired of making bows. Sad because I haven't even wrapped my own gifts. I have 2 more days of this. I sure can put together some great gift sets though. Need any advice? Glad to help in that area, LOL.

Wow, the days are going quick. Tonight, my daughter and I did some Christmas shopping. Went to the mall a bit, Old Navy and Target. We spent most our time at Target. LOVE Target. Bought our holiday jammies too. Do you all buy new jammies for Christmas? We do every year.

Christmas is very near. I did get a bit more shopping done thanks to Amazon and their free shipping. Oh do I love Amazon. As I type this, I have a crew of teenagers over for a holiday party, cooking pizza, listening to music, making treats, and wearing their awful Christmas sweaters. I am hiding out in the basement with the big dog where it is a bit more quiet.

Today I was determined to get the tree decorated. Geez it is the 15th. So I did with the help of my daughter. When my son got back from wrestling practice, he put the star on top. It turned out beautiful.

Oh and did I tell you all? I returned to Weight Watchers. Last year I think I mentioned I was a Weight Watchers flop? Well I am no more. So to catch you all up, I started back in February, right after we returned from our annual Walt Disney World Trip. I felt gross, just plain FAT. I was at my highest ever, well except with I was pregnant. I started loosing weight and by May, I was down 17 pounds. By the time we left for our Disney cruise to Alaska, I was down 18 and feeling GREAT and down a dress size. I still knew I had 10 more to go. Since then, I have fallen off the wagon and gained 3 pounds. I marched back in to Weight Watchers last week, determined NOT to give up Again. I weighed in tonight, lost 1 pound. So if you are on the same wagon, don't fall off!!! Stay on with me. Or if you are thinking about it, I would love to hear. A new year and a new start? Well anyways, just thought I would share that with you all.

Half way through the month and 10 day till Christmas. Are you ready? NOT! I have been decorating the house tonight, being the only night without any sports practices. This is the only night we can all sit down and have a dinner together. So the house is ready, just need to decorate the tree.

A quick post, it has been a super busy day, up very early for a soccer game. I did get some Christmas shopping done. I am off to bed now, have another early day tomorrow. Up at the crack of dawn, driving an hour and spending my day at a wrestling tournament.
