Look under the book title or my name Robert Astley-Jordan in the search box and you will find two versions of the book to download. The second ‘revised’ edition, has sorted out some of the issues which should have been dealt with before printing.

The site gives free access to new books, and then allows readers to buy the whole ebook or a hard copy book.

I was thrilled to hear that my first book Times Up was going to be available on this new site. The next book in the five book series has been finished and will be on the site very soon. ‘Englands Wall’ follows on from where Times Up left off. It has been test read by a number of people who all think it is better than Times Up.

Book three is in production. ‘Laundry’  should be ready by the end of the year.

The annual conference of the Association of Residenttial Letting Agents bought 175 copies of Times Up yesterday. The proceeds to go to the Oxfam haiti appeal.

Many delegates had already purchased the book and stated how much they enjoyed it, and wanted to know when the next book would be available.

England’s Wall is written and will hopefully be available later this year

The conference and Exhibition are being held at the Novatel in Hamersmith in London. I shall be taking and signing 100 copies of Times Up and all the proceeds will be sent to Oxfam for the Haiti appeal.

I will publish the amount raised after the event.

The books page of this prestigeous magazine reports on a number of books that have a ‘Cheshire’ connection. Time’s Up gets pole position on the page.

The devastation in Haiti is unimaginable. The news clips cannot portray the full horror of what has occurred. Money is our only practical support for the agencies involved in long term help.

I have decided to place 200 copies of ‘Time’s Up’ in a number of local Oxfam shops. I will publish a list of the shops in the News section of this web site. The shops will sell the books, and all the money they raise will go to the Haiti appeal.

If you can’t get to an Oxfam shop that has supplies then please order on line and I personally guarantee to pay £5 from every sale to the appeal. I will publish the receipt on line . This offer will end on the 28^th February 20010. I will also be donating half the cost of the Web designers fee to the appeal as Webchefs who support this site have agreed to make the changes at half price.

LEADING letting expert is turning his hand from property to prose with the publication of his first novel.

Robert Jordan, chairman of residential lettings agency Jordan’s and the immediate past president of the Association of Residential Letting Agents, has written a crime novel? ‘Time’s Up’, set in Cheshire, which has a fast-paced plot featuring two murders, a fraud and attempted blackmail.?

Robert, chairman of Jordan’s eight offices, is a chartered surveyor with more than 40 years’ experience working in the property market in the North West and this is his first novel.?

“It’s taken a year of extremely hard work to get to this stage and it’s exciting to finally see my book in print,” he said.?“Writing has always been a passion of mine and once I started this book, I couldn’t stop.? I’ve finished the second instalment, ‘England’s Wall’ which will be published next year.?? I’ve been able to draw on my experience of the property market to write the book.”

‘Time’s Up’, the first of a series of novels, is set in Cheshire and references landmarks in Chester and surroundings.

It is available in paperback and e-book format and retails at £7.99.
