Many times I have driven past this dairy farm and wondered how much work is required to keep up a farm like this. I have to give the owners of this farm a lot of credit to keep it running. I find this area to be absolutely beautiful and hope that it will always stay that way.

Mother and Son Horses Painting

Sold

As of late the portrait commission is moving along well and I moved off to work on a new painting of horses in oil on canvas (one of my favorite subjects) to offer for sale. Portraits are fine and challenging to paint but what I really enjoy is the Connecticut countryside and all it has to offer. I can't help to paint what I see outside (especially farms and farm animals). I hope you enjoy this painting as much as I enjoyed painting it.

14" x 11" Oil on stretched canvas

Yale Portrait Commissions

I won't be doing much posting for the months of October through December because of a large portrait commission from Yale University. It's a big project for me and I will be devoting all of my time to finishing each painting (11 in total) to my satisfaction. Wish me luck and I hope to be talking to you soon.

Sunday Afternoon Graze

I like to take my Sunday afternoon drives with my camera looking
for scenes like this.
