Community Event Description

This year, I had the pleasure of not only donating to the Kent Chamber President’s Gala, but also photographing the event. The Theme this year was Prom and it was held at the ShoWare Center. This local community event consisted of an awards dinner, entertainment, Live & Silent Auction, and Dancing.

This event is one of the ways a business can support the Kent Community and we are proud to be a part of it We believe strongly in giving back to the community and always enjoy being a part of this. Everyone who is anyone in Kent was at this event, even if it was the night before Easter weekend.

Also at the event, Jim from the Golden Steer restaurant, presented the following awards:

Attention Covington Businesses! It is very important that you step up and support your local community’s festival or it might not happen next year. Can you imagine what it would be like with out our annual festival and parade? If you enjoy this event, then I encourage you to step up and support it. Covington Days Festival has been a long standing community event in Convington with all types of vendors, food court and art show. There will also be live entertainment all three days of the festival. Come out and enjoy in the fun!

I had the pleasure of photographing the Sawyer Family the other day. I really like this portrait because everyone was so relaxed and natural. Also, everyone was looking at the camera and you could see catchlights in everyone’s eyes – including the baby and the dogs. Isn’t this a nice sweet family?
