New in Project Velt 2.7:

Added 23 Slide Transitions, allowing seamless animations between slides.
Made Hue/Saturation/Lightness the default color selection tool.
Replaced "Other Slides" buttons with "All Slides" buttons, which include any new slides.
In exported slideshows, the navigational control cannot be disabled, but is only visible when the mouse is placed at the lower left corner.
Minor tweaks.
Exported slideshows now (mostly) work in Internet Explorer 8.
Fixed bug in 2.6 where logbooks wouldn't load.

Note: These release notes contain all changes from 2.6, which was quickly updated for the last two items.

Widget is smaller, with a new background and cleaner buttons.
Now converts the ellipsis, (C) -> ©, (R) -> ®
No longer converts double dashes within an HTML attribute.
Single and double quotes preceded by a slash are ignored.
Preview Mode automatically converts newlines to line breaks.
Option to preserve HTML entities.

New in Project Velt 2.5:

S5 files can now use rich text editing.
Added theme previews for S5 files.
Users can now create profiles to automatically fill the file info of S5 files.
Added support for the HSL color space, which can be accessed through global settings or by clicking any color preview.
Keyboard/mouse navigation and progress indicator now work in S5 slideshows.
Minor fixes.

HTML Mode now has full toolbar support.
HTML Mode now has a search bar and text replacement functionality.

New in Project Velt 2.3:

You can now create links to e-mail addresses, the next slide, and the previous slide.
Insert Image has been renamed Insert Media, and can be used to embed a web page.
Exported slideshows (but not Project Velt itself) now work in webkit browsers.

Project Velt 2.0

To view the extent of changes in version 2.0, please read this walkthrough which was itself created in Project Velt 2.0. The latest version of the 2.x series is 2.2 as of this writing.

In summary, the changes include:

A completely new interface.
Slides now have notes.
Greater slide customization.
Ability to merge files.
Skin editor/Widget Configuration.
Date/Time functionality.
Greatly improved horizontal rule, image and table insertion.
Tables can now have headers and alternating rows/columns.
Much more.

My widgets aren't always about encryption; some of them are about punctuation and dingbats. I don't know what else can be said about this latest widget: it's a character map, pure and simple.

Added "New File" button.
Added option to display file info in 24 Hour time.
Renamed "Save" to "Save As..." and added a real "Save" button.
Pressing "Enter/Return" on any text field will now perform the correct action.
