I Am My Family

This afternoon we are proud to announce that Rafael Goldchain has launched his new book “I Am My Family”. The Book (printed though Princeton Architectural Press) is a collection of his current body of work, some of which can be found inside Robot Follow. Along with the masterfully manipulated images you will find excerpts from a shooting journal kept throughout the series, and stills from video taken during some of the photo shots. Winner of Verge Magazine Contest

An international call for entries went out, and Derek Kinsman answered. Now published in the catalouge for the 2007 OFFF International Festival for the Post-Digital Creation Culture. The work entitled “start” can be found in Kinsman’s section of this site.

Connie Chan, Winner - PDN’s “World In Focus”

Winner in the Pro Division of the Photo District News “World In Focus Competition” is none other than own own Connie Chan. The winning images are a section of pieces from her series “The Good Women of Vietnam”. The full body of work can be found at robotfollow.com.
In addition to being included in PDN and pdnonline, selected images have appeared in a print gallery at PDN’s Photoplus Expo International October 18,19, and 20th 2007.

Site Launch

The deadline for artist submissions for 2007 has come and gone and we are proud to be putting up the last few artists this week. With that said, the first Robot Follow news letter will be going out at the end of August, so if you’re not already on the mailing list, hurry up and email us.

Deadline Extended

Due to the high volume of possible artists, Robot Follow is extending the deadline for artist entries to the site. The last date for submissions is now July 15th 2007. Artists submitting work after that date will still be considered for the site, but may not be included until the spring 2008 call for entry.
