Hines who is a computer scientist state the plan for the sex robot came when he was looking for a profitable application for his Artificial Intelligence Technology. Talking about the sex robot he believes that “there’s a tremendous need for this kind of product”.

Roxxxy is 5 ft 7 inch tall and her body is anatomically just like a real woman. Her skin is made from silicone and is touch sensitive in all the right places and she can even have an sense of sexual climax.

Consumers can also customize things like eye color, hair color and breast size. The Artificial Intelligence engine is programmed to learn the owner’s likes and dislikes.

There is also a choice of purchasing Roxxxy with five different personalities - sociable Wild Wendy, reserved and shy Frigid Farrah. Mature Martha is a young naive personality and S & M Susan is very daring.

What makes Roxxxy different from her inflatable ancestors is that she's the first sex doll equipped with artificial intelligence. "She hears you. She listens to you. She speaks. She feels your touch. She goes to sleep," Hines says.

Humanoid robot was created by the engineers. Their visions are to create a robot that can easily move around and inside that house that means that they have to perfect the walking technology. There are two things that hinders engineers to creating a robot with a human or super-human IQ: vision and sensory information processing.

A humanoid robot that can distinguish voices and other sounds and identify the source of it, and can recognize its environment and can act in a safe way to him and to humans and can interpret the movement and position of the human hand.

The era of Robotics is upon us, Robots can now do those tasks everyone hates like vacuuming the carpets and floors to making us even a bigger "Couch Potato" were we don't even need to look for that elusive handheld remote control to change channels or adjust the volume.

These Humanoid robots surely will be in the market, affordable and capable enough, to help with simple tasks.

The meanwhile third generation of this successful development series is characterized by a product like system design and for the first time provides the potential to apply manipulating mobile service robots in everyday environments.
By using industrial components approved in daily practice the dependability of the system can be ensured.

As an interactive butler Care-O-bot® 3 is firstly, it is able to move safely among humans and of course to the animals too like if you have pets in the house, secondly, could able to detect any necessary thing like metals and able to grasp typical household objects , and lastly, able to safely exchange them with humans.

And because of this, we could do anything what we wanted to do in life and enjoy the beauty of life with Care-O-bot®.

This project helps this scientist and engineers display their works on robots.

The ROBO-ONE Humanoid Helper project was launched in order to promote the development of robot that helps human beings. One of the ROBO-ONE project objectives is to fast forward the advancement of robotics technology. It even held competitions to see which of the robots can prove to be helpful to humans.

The Robots were tasked to pour liquid from a bottle to a cup, carry ping-pong balls to trays, and have a thirty minute endurance test.

By holding these competitions, spectators, scientists, and engineers are made aware of the present day robot’s strength and weakness.

Through the ROBO-ONE Humanoid Helper project, aspiring developers can show off their robots to the audience and at the same time advertise their work to big companies like Samsung and the likes for sponsorship n their projects.

The overall aim of this project is the interdisciplinary investigation of socially situated development from a global or integrated viewpoint.

It is said that robots are incorporated in human’s everyday environment for them to give services such as entertainment, caregiving and company. Thus, it is anticipated that robots will be made to adapt to human behavior. Or else, the varied human environments will require an endless reprogramming of the robots.

The Feelix Growing project tries to give a solution to this problem by making a robot that could sympathize and understand human feelings.

The project uses software that gives the robots the power to comprehend how or what a person is feeling based on feedback from sensors and cameras. Artificial neural networks are used in order to give the robot learning capabilities. The robot can identify the subject’s mood by looking at a human’s facial expression and voice analysis.

“It's mostly behavioral and contact feedback; tactile feedback and emotional feedback through positive reinforcement, such as kind words, nice behavior or helping the robot do something if it is stuck,” explained project coordinator, Dr Lola Canamero.

Among the video presentations, one that caught the eyes of the media researchers was a robot wall. At first, no one really had the idea that it will become something that is not typical of a wall.

This robot wall was named AWE which means Animated Work Environment, developed at the Clemson University School of Architecture and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

When the robot was presented by Keith Evan Green, the school director of the Intelligent Materials and Systems for Architecture program, for a demonstration of its capabilities, everybody in the room was literally put in "awe".

The robot wall segments itself into 6 different configurations such as collaborating, composing, conference, gaming or playing, lounging, presenting or viewing. The main purpose of these robot wall segmentation is for business people to convene in one place.

According to Steven Collins, a bio-mechanics researcher at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, "Artificial feet are even more wasteful of energy".
Normally, our feet uses about 200 muscles or so during walking and it looses energy in the long run. In order to replace that lost energy, our ankles push off. Unfortunately, for amputees, they have no way to do that.

So, with a research collaborator Arthur Kuo of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, developed a smart fake foot based on their experience of developing bipedal robots and researches of the how a human foot loses and consumes energy to create their own fake foot design.

Cube Stormer is an all-LEGO robot developed by Mike Dobson, also known as the Robotics Solutions. The robot is capable of solving a 3x3x3 rubiks cube in 12 seconds, but most of the time, he solves it in 2 - 5 seconds.

I included a video here for you to visualize what I am saying about this amazingly fast robot.

Cube Stormer is among the latest and swiftest of all full-functional LEGO robots, and there are more that you might want to check out too. A 12-second record is not at all world record for cube solving. According to a recent rubiks cube challenge, the fastest human solved a randomized cube in about 7 seconds. We also have that video here.

But a swarm of flyfires can actually do 3D displays instantaneously and magnificently.

These swarm of smart flyfires are actually micro-helicopters as tiny as a 5 inches, but can literally synchronize themselves to show different gigantic 3D images every specified time.

The collaborators MIT’s SENSEable City Laboratory and ARES Lab (Aerospace Robotics and Embedded Systems Laboratory) has hit upon this brilliant idea of making enormous morph-capable 3D displays from individual “smart pixels” known as flyfire consisting of micro- helicopters carrying LEDs.

This promising technology is a free-forming Flyfire canvas which can shift itself from one shape to another. The individual smart pixels are physically enjoined in transforming images from one state to another, allowing the Flyfire canvas to demonstrate animations in spatial environment.

<p .Flyfire is basically the first step to explore and imagine the chances of this free-form display, a swarm of pixels in a space.

The devastating earthquake that struck his native State, and the recent earthquake in Haiti prompted Hiren Patel and a group of student from J T Engineering College in Gujarat, India, to develop a robot that senses an earthquake.

It may be surprising to believe, the earthquake detecting robot is connected wirelessly to sensors embedded in the ground and can somehow detect impeding earthquakes about 3 hours before they actually hit, thus warning the authorities against the danger well in advance.

Dubbed as the Earthquake Detector Robot, it is made of a single receiver and two transmitters whose circuits are kept inside the earth to sense changes in temperature and water levels and transmit the information about the changes via microwave frequencies.

When it gets a signal of impending doom, it’ll send out warnings over the internet.

The robot employs microcontrollers to sense vibrations and give off an alarm on detection. Though, three hours may not seem time enough to make significant arrangements to avoid destruction, if the earthquake detecting robot really works as claimed, many lives could be saved for sure.
