I really wasn't kidding when I said I was an organizing maniac lately! Just look at my scrap bin! Each color has a file folder with a color swatch of the cardstock and a label on the tab! Each color family is separated in the crate by their position on the tab. I have all four collections, the In Colors, and the specialty papers grouped together. It sure makes it easier to find the right color! It may not be the best system, but it sure works for me. I'm making it a point to use the scraps first before I cut into any full sheets of cardstock for classes, and also to put away the scraps after a cutting session before it gets out of control!

Time to Organize!

I've been on a mission since the sneak peeks and new catalog were released to us demonstrators a few weeks ago, an organizing mission!! I've removed all the retiring products (they will go on sale June 4 as a BOGO!! Stay tuned!), sorted my overflowing scrap bin, alphabetized my stamp sets and more. But todays job just makes me smile! I love things to match in my room, but look closely at the colors....Pacific Point, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, and Delightful Daffodil! Another of the cups is a new color. Can you guess which one, and it's name?

I had ventured into the local office supply store to purchase a cube for storing markers and such since I don't have the case for the Many Marvelous Markers we carry. I was purchasing them one at a time way back when, and we don't carry the case separately :( Needless to say, I didn't come out of the store with the cube when I saw this super cute pencil cup set! Now, you know you shouldn't store your markers on end, right? It makes the ink flow to one end instead of it being evenly dispersed. So what's a girl to do? Hang it on the wall!! Six cups, one for each color collection, one for the In Colors, and the last one for my blender pens and Aqua Painters!!

I'm a happy girl tonight!

After this crazy, sad news week it was a welcome sight to see My Paper Pumpkin arrive in my mailbox today! I just love the anticipation of it all, and when I saw the name of the kit earlier in the week it really built up my imagination as to what would be in this months kit!

And seriously, I wasn't disappointed! The first thing I noticed was the box....seriously....a sneak peek perhaps with the shape?!

And I love how cutely it's packaged on the inside! Seriously!

If you don't what to know what's on the inside....close your eyes! It's seriously cute!!

If you haven't guessed it by now....it's called "Seriously" this month! Look at that super cute kit, a cherry cobbler stampin' spot and 3 sassy stamps....one says "seriously" (of course), one says "you kick booty" and the third is "love your guts" AND it has the silver buttons from the Occasions Catalog in there as the embellishment! The thought bubble and the banner are stickers to stamp on and adhere. It comes with enough supplies for 4 cards and includes the envelopes too. Here's a peek at the sample card for the kit, but I KNOW you can step this up and change things around and make it your own...I can't wait to play, but for now it will have to wait till tomorrow! It's Grand Achievers night with a fabulous group of ladies and man!

Do you know what this is?

Ever heard of a receipt spike? I got this little guy from Staples for $1.99, so I could do this.....

It makes the perfect ribbon holder! It keeps the ribbon from rolling around on the floor while I'm prepping for classes and it makes it easier to roll back up too! I've been searching high and low for an antique one here in town, but for 1.99 I'll use this in the meantime!

My Paper Pumpkin Arrived!!

The little red box try it kit arrived on my doorstep right on schedule today and I couldn't wait to dive in...but there was something stopping me!

It was so beautifully wrapped on the INSIDE!! It was delicately wrapped in tissue paper and held together with an official paper pumpkin sticker...so cute!

Now, I didn't do anything different to the cards inside except add some whisper white bakers twine to the center of the buttons, cuz we can't have naked buttons ya know!

The best part, besides having 4 sassy cards to send out (including the envelopes) and a few minutes to create by myself? No mess to really clean up! I only needed a bit of snail and a couple of mini glue dots to finish!

It comes with all you see in the top picture and this is what's left...PERFECT for those with small spaces like college kids and seniors!
