It may be my fourth time photographing the event where fifth graders raise money for the American Heart Association. It’s a gymnasium full of kids jumping rope and playing and having fun and a bit overwhelming at first as you look around for a good photo. I usually spend the first few minutes at these kinds of events just looking around, trying to figure out who to focus on and what to shoot. On this special day children and adults often dress up in their favorite costumes.  The room was full of adorable kids making crafts related to Purim, so there were many photos to be made.
