1. You will need a scarf, hairpins, hairbands and a rat-tail comb.

1. 用意するものはスカーフ、ヘアピン、ヘアゴム、サキが尖ったくし。

2. Divide your hair in 2 parts using a zigzag motion.

2. 髪をジグザグに２つに分ける。

3. Place the middle of the scarf on the middle of your neck.

3.スカーフの真ん中を首の真ん中に置く。

4. Use a hair pin to secure the scarf and hair together.

4. スカーフの真ん中にピンを差して、スカーフと髪を一緒に留める。

5. The scarf is attached to the hair.

5. スカーフがピンで髪に留まっている状態。

6. Start to braid the hair. Divide the hair into two parts and use the scarf for the third string of the braid.

6..髪を二つに分けスカーフを三つ編みの三つ目の毛束に見立てて三つ編みを編む。

7. Secure the braid end using a hairband.

8. A braid that uses the hair and a scarf.

1カップ オーガニックシアバター

大匙3 ライスブランオイル(こめ油)

1, Wattage

Wattage is important. The higher the wattage of your hair dryer, the more powerful the heat and air flow will be. You can dry your hair quickly and create a shine with a higher wattage dryer. Make sure at least 1750 watts. If you have thick and frizzy hair. I recommend a dryer with around 2000 watts for quick and smooth results.

ドライヤーの熱さと風力を変えられるスウィッチが付いている物を選ぶのも重要です。一番熱い ＆ 風力セッティングで、髪を乾かし、クールセッティングで、髪のキューティクルをしめる事により、艶が長持ちする髪に。

3, Attachment

If you want to smooth your hair, your hair dryer should have a nozzle attachment. This helps concentrate the air flow to make your hair smooth.

Summer is here, yay! Do you like to go to the beach? Do you protect your hair before you go to the beach? I'm a hair stylist and I have seen a lot of super dry and damaged hair during and after the summer season. Many of my clients tell me that they go to the beach a lot. Do you go to the beach with nothing on your hair and jump in to salt water? The strong sun and salt water dries out your hair. The combination makes your hair tangled. Do you go home with dry and tangled hair and try to comb it out? Please do not do this. Your hair will break easily, especially if you have long and fine hair or bleach blond hair. Today, I would like to share with you a really SIMPLE, EASY AND QUICK way to protect your hair from the dry and tangled beach hair nightmare.

1. Before you leave from home use a water bottle and saturate your hair with water.

1. ビーチに行く前に霧吹きを使用して髪をしめらせる。

2. Comb Your hair.

2. 髪をブラシでとかして、湿りを均一にさせる。

3. Slather Coconut oil into your hair.

3. ココナッツオイルを髪に塗布する。

4. Comb your hair to saturate the Coconuts oil in to your hair.

4. ココナッツオイルを均一に髪にのばす為にもう一度髪をブラシまたはくしでとかす。

5. Braid, ponytail, make bun or just comb out.

5. 髪を三つ編みや、お団子にまとめる。

That's it! Super easy right? It will take only 5-10 minutes. But this 10 minutes will change your hair a lot in the future. Do you want to know why? Coconut oil will provide UV protection, protect your hair from salt water and you are getting something like a hot oil treatment on your hair as well. You will notice the difference when you take a shower after you come back from the beach. 2. 髪をサイドに寄せてポニーテイルにする。

2. Grab your hair at the hair band part and pull your hair to make it look softer, and to create some height on the top of your head.

2.  ヘアゴムの部分を手で押さえながら、頭のてっぺん近くの髪をつまみ出す様に引き出して高さを出し、かつ、柔らかさを出す様にする。

3. Divide the hair into 2 parts. Pin up one part and start to braid the other part.

3. ポニーテイルの髪を二つに分けて一つは上にピンを使って留めておき、もうひとつを三つ編みをする。

4. This is how the braid should look.

4. 三つ編みの出来上がり。

5. Pull your braid out to make the braid bigger and softer.

5. 三つ編みを少しずつひっぱり、大きな三つ編みを作るようにする。

 6.This is how a big and softer braid should look.

6. こんな感じに三つ編みひとつひとつを大きくする。.

7. Braid another part of the hair. And Pull your braid out to make the braid bigger and softer.

7. 上に留めておいた髪をおろして、三つ編みを作る。

8. Cross both braids with each other to make one piece of hair.

8. 三つ編み同士を交差させて、一つにする。

9. Bring the braid up and around the hair band and set braid on the ponytail.

9. 三つ編みした髪をポニーテイルのゴムの上に巻き付けるようにする。

 10.Open the pin and slide the pin into the ponytail part and above the ponytail part so the bun will stay on your head.

10. ピンを指で少し開き、上から何カ所かピンで留める。

Do you know what Balayage highlighting is? It is a highlighting method to make a sun-kissed natural look for your hair. Balayage is a French word meaning to sweep or to paint. The hairstylist uses a paint brush, a finger or a comb to apply color on the surface of  the hair. The section should not be saturated.  Balayage will create a very soft and non- streak hair color. The great thing about Balayage highlighing is you don’t get an obvious regrowth line. So, you don't need to retouch often. It will grow beautifully and naturally. Balayage will work for both naturally light or naturally dark hair. I love Balayage because of its low maintenance, natural, soft and trendy look.

皆さん、Balayage（バレイヤージュ）って聞いた事ありますか？これはニューヨークで人気なハイライト技法で、ペイントブラシ、手、またはコームを使ってハイライトするんです。現在、日本では主流のホイルを使ってやるハイライトは、根元の色が明るくなり、ハイライトが縦線状によく目立ちますが、この手法でハイライトすると、従来のホイルを使ってハイライトするよりも明るくなリ過ぎず、髪の根元のハイライトがあまり目立たずに、とてもナチュラルな仕上がりです。Balayageはフランス語で、掃く、ペイントするという意味なんです。

バレイヤージュ の良いところは、狙ったところのみを明るくすることができるので、お客様の要望に合わせていくらでもデザインできること。例えば、上の動画と写真のお客様は、ご来店時は、数ヶ月前に黒染めをし、そこから明るくしたいと思い、他のサロンに行かれてハイライトをしていらしたのですが、黒染めが強力すぎて、前回のハイライトでは毛先の色が上がらず、髪の根元は明るいのに、毛先の色が暗い不自然な髪色でした。これは、若い女性だけでなく、特に白髪染めを自己流にされている方にもよく見られる髪色です。白髪染めで根元の髪が染まりきらずに、毛先に行くに行くにつれてカラーがたまり毛先には白髪がなく暗い髪色になっている方々を良く見かけます。髪色って、根元が暗めで毛先に行くにつれて明るくなるのが自然です。

私は、白髪が多いお客さまの場合は、白髪隠す様に全て染めてしまうのではなく、白髪を上手くなじませる提案をしています。もちろん白髪染めはするのですが、べったり白髪が全く見えない様に染めるのではなく、少し色をつけるくらいにし、毛先は、バレイヤージュ を施し明るくして、白髪が出てきてもうまくなじむ様に狙ったところにハイライトを施します。そうすると、白髪が出てきてもあまり目立つことはなく、リタッチを頻繁にしなくても良くなるし、仕上がりがとても自然です。

日本ではまだまだ馴染みの薄いバレイヤージュ ですが、私は、大人の女性にこそぴったりなハイライト技法だと思います。大人の女性には、髪の量が減ってくる方々も多い。その方々に根元から毛先まで同じ色のカラーを施すと、平面的になりボリュームがなくぺったりとした髪の印象になってしまいます。ですが、ハイライト、特にバレイヤージュ ハイライトを施すことにより、髪に暗いところ明るいところができる為、髪にかなり立体感が出てふんわりと見えますよ。

Especially someone with long, thick and frizzy hair who wants to smooth their hair. Many people have cheap hair dryers that are loud and does not do a good job of drying hair. You don't have to buy an expensive hair dryer, but invest a little more than your cheap hair dryer, as it makes a big difference. It will save time, and help you make your hair nice so you will have a happier life:) Today, I'd like to give you some tips on how to choose a hair dryer.

美容師生活約２０年。https://chihairnyc.com 長年の美容師経験から言える事は、ヘアドライヤーは綺麗な髪を作るのに本当に重要です！特に、ロング、多毛、くせ毛で、艶々ロングにしたい人には。モーターの音だけは大きくうるさいのに、たいした仕事をしない安いドライヤーを所有している方々が多すぎる！めちゃくちゃ高価なドライヤーを買わなくても、今のそのモーター音だけが大きいドライヤーより、ちょっと良いものを使うだけで、時短にもなるし、そして、綺麗な艶髪が作れます。そして、綺麗な髪になると、毎日気分がいいから、あなたのライフがもっとハッピーになりますよ：）今日は、ドライヤーを買う時に見るポイントをみなさんにシェアしたいと思います。

1, Wattage

Wattage is important. The higher the wattage of your hair dryer, the more powerful the heat and air flow will be. You can dry your hair quickly and create a shine with a higher wattage dryer. Make sure at least 1750 watts. If you have thick and frizzy hair. I recommend a dryer with around 2000 watts for quick and smooth results.

ワット数はとても重要。ワット数が高いと温度が上がり、風力が強い。つまり、ワット数が高いと髪を素早く綺麗に乾かせます。最低でも、１７５０ワット（アメリカのドライヤーの場合）があるドライヤーが望ましい。毛量が多くくせ毛の方は、約２０００ワット（アメリカのドライヤーの場合）のドライヤーが早く、綺麗に乾かせるのでおススメです。

2, Speeds

A blow dryer with variable speeds and heat controls are important. Use the higher heat and air setting to remove excess moisture from hair. Use cool air to seal the hair cuticle for long lasting hold and shine.

2, スピード

ドライヤーの熱さと風力を変えられるスウィッチが付いている物を選ぶのも重要です。一番熱い ＆ 風力セッティングで、髪を乾かし、クールセッティングで、髪のキューティクルをしめる事により、艶が長持ちする髪に。

3, Attachment

If you want to smooth your hair, your hair dryer should have a nozzle attachment. This helps concentrate the air flow to make your hair smooth.

髪を艶があって、滑らかな髪に仕上げたいなら、ドライヤーにノズルが付いている事が重要です。ノズルが付いている事によって、熱と風力を集中して艶を出したいエリアに当てる事が出来ます。

Many people want volume hairstyle.  I would like to share my favorite hair products to create thicker and fuller hair. 

髪をふんわりスタイリングすると女度がアップしセクシー：）でもスタイリング難しそう。って思ってます？正しいスタイリング剤とブラシを使えば難しくないですよ。

1. R+CO Dry shampoo

"This dry shampoo will do more than clean up your hair; it'll lend it a kind of untamed texture—not unlike the landscape from which it takes its name. Just a few sprays will absorb excess oil, increase volume, and add definition" 

2. Kerastase Resistance Volumifique

If you are a beginner doing blow outs, I recommend this spray. It will create natural volume for your hair and is easy to use for a blow out.  Use this spray on towel-dried hair from the roots to the ends. Dry your hair with a dryer and ceramic-vented round brush.

3. Kerastase Volumifique Weightless Volumizing Mousse

When you get used to blowing out with Kerastase SPRAY VOLUMIFIQUE, add Kerastase MOUSSE VOLUMIFIQUE. If you are a beginner doing blowouts, try to use only one product to start. I often see at the salon that I work, clients purchasing more than one hair product and end up not using any of the products and stop blowing out their hair because they feel like the process is too much for them. I don't want you to stop taking care of your hair. Your hair looks much better if you use one hair product and dryer than no product at all.

ドライシャンプーって日本ではまだあまり聞かないヘアスタイリング剤だと思いますが、これは、髪に適度なリューム感を出してくれ、手軽に使えてとても便利。以前ブログにてドライシャンプーの使い方を写真付きで紹介したので、良かったら見てみてね。→ドライシャンプーの使い方。

2.  Kerastase Resistance Volumifique

髪の毛にボリュームが欲しいけど、ドライヤーとブラシを使ってスタイリングする事に慣れていない方におすすめなのがこのスプレー。ナチュラルにボリューム感がある髪を作れます。タオルドライした髪の根元から毛先にかけてつけて、セラミックラウンドブラシとドライヤーを使ってスタイリングするとナチュラルにふんわりとします。細い髪、そして、とても痛んだ髪の人にお勧めです。

ケラスターゼ ボリュームフィック スプレーを使用してスタイリングするのに慣れたら、こちらのムースも使用してみましょう。このムースを使用すると、しっかりボリューム感が出て、スタイリングも長持ちします。私がスタイリング初心者の方々に最初は一つのスタイリング剤を使ってスタイリングをおススメする理由は、サロンワークを通じてお客様を観察していると、スタイリング初心者でたくさんのスタイリング剤を購入なさる方々は、自宅に帰って自分でスタイリングする際にいろいろ髪に付けるのを慣れていらっしゃらない為に面倒に感じて嫌になり、使用させるのを全く辞めてしまう方々を多く見かけるからです。私は、お客様にはいつも綺麗でいていただきたい。何もしないよりは、何か一つでもスタイリング剤を使用してスタイリングした方が綺麗に仕上がる。だから、初心者のお客様には、少しずつ商品をおすすめするようにしています。
