The film score and soundtrack will be composed by A. R. Rahman. The first theatrical trailer was released on August 31, 2011 along with Bodyguard starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

Agneepath is the remake of the 1990 Hindi film of the same name. It is directed by Karan Johar's former assistant Karan Malhotra. Hrithik Roshan will play the role originally played by Amitabh Bachchan. Priyanka Chopra will be the female lead. The character played by Mithun Chakraborty has been totally done away with in the remake. The main villain will be played by Sanjay Dutt and Rishi Kapoor will play another negative character. It has been reported that Zarina Wahab will play Hrithik's mother.

Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. was released on 23 February 2007. It is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani through Excel Entertainment (Hindi cinema) and directed by debutant director Reema Kagti. The music is composed by Vishal-Shekhar and the movie had a chartbuster song " Sajnaji Vaari Vaari " by Sunidhi Chauhan.

The story is about six couples, who are on their honeymoon with the Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. bus and their trials and tribulations during the four-day-journey to Goa. The couples are:

Oscar Fernandez (Boman Irani) and his wife Nahid (Shabana Azmi) who have just recently married. They are middle-aged and the target of constant mocking from everyone else. However, they intend on having a great journey and not be bothered by their difficult pasts. This is their second marriage. Oscar's first wife committed suicide and Nahid's husband and 2 children died in a car accident. Oscar is Nahid's first husband's business partner. After a chance meeting with Oscar's estranged daughter in Goa, father and daughter mend their relationship.
Partho Sen (Kay Kay Menon) and Milly Sen (Raima Sen), a couple from a small town in Bengal. He is a serious man and she behaves as a traditional sari-wearing wife.
Pinky (Amisha Patel) and Vicky (Karan Khanna), hailing from Delhi. They couldn't be more different, as Pinky is very extroverted and Vicky is the opposite. When Vicky sees Bunty for the first time, he develops closeted romantic feelings for him but isn't able to express them.
Madhu (Sandhya Mridul) and Bunty (Vikram Chatwal) have most recently married. Their differences draw from the fact that he is an NRI, a non-resident Indian, while she has lived in Mumbai, India, for her entire life. Bunty is a closet homosexual and his parents want him to marry the daughter of a family friend but out of anxiety he contacted Madhu over the net and came to India and married quickly. Madhu had a recently failed relationship with a man, whom she left after discovering that he had a wife and child already. She found Bunty and married quickly to forget that pain.
Hitesh (Ranvir Shorey) and Shilpa (Dia Mirza) are both from Gujarat and both of them wonder if love or marriage is more important. During the first half hour, Shilpa runs away with her love, Arjun Rampal. Shilpa and her love board the Honeymoon Travels bus returning to Mumbai, while escaping from contract killers sent by Hitesh's father.
Aspi (Abhay Deol) and Zara (Minissha Lamba) are seemingly the most perfect couple of them all. They've never fought with each other. Unknown to each other, each of them hide a secret (they are superheroes respectively in reality).

As the bus continues its journey, it is followed by a mysterious biker, dressed in black clothes, wearing a helmet - someone who still has business with one of the passengers.

Don - The Chase Begins Again, directed by Farhan Akhtar, is a remake of the blockbuster 1978 film, Don. The film was released in India on October 20, 2006. The film stars Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Rampal, Ishaa Koppikar and Kareena Kapoor in a guest appearance. The script of the previous film was written by Akhtar's father, Javed Akhtar and Salim Khan (father of Salman Khan). The film has seven songs composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Two of the original songs, "Khaike Paan Banaraswala" and "Yeh Mera Dil" were remade for the movie.

Synopsis: A huge Indian contingent embarks on a dangerous cat-and-mouse trail of capturing DON (Shah Rukh Khan) - the ruthless drug mafia in Malaysia. When DON gets seriously injured in a police encounter, the word that he is dead begins to do the rounds. The reality, of course, is that DON is held captive in a secret location, while his bumpkin of a look-alike, Vijay, is polished and sent to take down DON's gang. In a bizarre twist of fate, when the man shielding the humble and streetwise Vijay, is killed, the latter comes to terms with the horrifying realization that both the police and the gang are out to nab him for different reasons. In a desperate attempt to prove his innocence, he is aided by the glamorously staggering Roma (Priyanka Chopra), and handsomely striking, Jasjit (Arjun Rampal), who owes Vijay a favor for care-taking his son during his imprisonment. But will Vijay be successful in his mission? Lakshya starring Amitabh Bachchan , Hrithik Roshan , Preity Zinta , Om Puri and Boman Irani was directed by Farhan Akhtar. Shankar Ehsaan Loy scored the music of the movie and Javed Akhtar wrote the story and the lyrics. The hit songs from this movie are ' Main Aisa Kyun Hoon ' , ' Agar Main Kahoon ' and the title song ' Lakshya '. The movie tells the story of Karan Shergill (Hrithik Roshan) who plays the role of Lieutenant (later Acting Captain),who leads his team (initially 12, falling to 6 members) to victory over the Pakistani invaders. It is a fictional story based on the historical events of the 1999 Kargil Conflict.

Plot: Karan Shergill (Hrithik Roshan) is a young man who has no actual goal in mind or plans for his future. He represents those urban youth in modern India, who have money but little ambition or purpose in their lives. His father is a businessman; his brother is a successful individual living in America, but Karan is drifting along. His girlfriend, Romi (Preity Zinta), a student activist and reporter who espouses fashionable causes out of well-meaning sincerity, tells him he needs to find a goal in life. When a friend announces he is going to join the Indian Military Academy, Karan applies as well despite dissent from his parents.

Karan's first days at the IMA are a disaster. Because he is indisciplined and unused to a spartan existence, he keeps getting into trouble at the academy. Upset, he leaves the academy without permission, sneaking over the wall at Last Post. Back home, his parents are unsurprised and even though they urge him to join the family business, they are disappointed with the way their son has turned out, especially in comparison to his elder brother. Romi, meanwhile, is tired of his aimless and indecisive ways and calls off their relationship. Karan finally comes to terms with his situation and makes his decision. He returns to the IMA, takes his punishment, and becomes a focused, disciplined cadet leader, graduating as a cadet officer.

Lt. Karan (the starting rank for all new commissioned officers in the Indian Army) is posted to the 3rd Battalion of the Punjab Regiment, commanded by Col. Sunil Damle (Amitabh Bachchan), and handles his responsibilities well. From an immature teenager to a mature officer, he finally decides the essence of his life or his goal. His goal is now his unit's target - a mountain peak - known to have been recently invaded by the Pakistani Army.

Dil Chahta Hai starring Aamir Khan , Akshay Khanna , Saif Ali Khan , Preity Zinta , Sonali Kulkarni and Dimple Kapadia was written and directed by Farhan Akhtar. The film is based on screenwriter, Farhan Akhtar's, diaries on his trips to Goa and his 1996 month-and-a-half long stay at New York, and a storyline narrated by a friend, which he used for Akash (Aamir Khan's character).

The movie tells the story of three friends graduating from college and transitioning into life as adults. Each individual has a different perspective of life and love in particular. Akash (Aamir Khan) does not believe in love and is of the opinion that one should never have a girlfriend for more than a period of two weeks. Sameer (Saif Ali Khan) is a genial, well-meaning, desperately romantic and confused guy. He is prone to romantic infatuations and believes that he has found true love whenever he gets attracted to a girl. Siddharth (Akshaye Khanna), or Sid, is an artist by profession and is the most serious of them all; dedicated to his work, he is not interested in trivial romances.

The film was critically acclaimed, winning that year's National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi. It was also a commercial success, though it performed better in the urban areas of the country compared to the rural areas, which was attributed by critics to the city-oriented lifestyle depicted in the movie in which all the characters are, without exception, from rich or at least upper-middle-class families.

The film's style extended to the music and its picturisation in the movie. One song sequence recapitulates, and to some extent, parodies Bollywood dance history. Other songs drop the usual dance accompaniment; one song depicts an argument between two protagonists through the song's lyrics, another establishes the character's state of mind through a moody photo collage, while yet another imagines the beautiful and idealised world of an artist in love through a song inside a painting. There is also an extended opera sequence, which was exclusively commissioned for the film.

Excel Entertainment's Rock On !! was released all over on August 29th, 2008. The film will mark the debut of director Farhan Akhtar as an actor.The cast also includes Arjun Rampal , Purab Kohli, Luke Kenny and television actress Prachi Desai.

The music has been scored by Shankar Ehsaan Loy,while the lyrics are being written by none other Javed Akhtar and the film is directed by Abhishek Kapoor ( His directorial debut was Sohail Khan starrer 'Aryan'). Rock On revolves around an unsuccessful rock band (Magik). Ten years later, the four members of the band bump into each other again, and set on a journey together.

The film has been critically acclaimed across India and around the world, with several leading reviewing rating the storyline and the actors' performances highly. Its music has also received positive reviews and was recognized as Bollywood's brilliant first experiment with real rock music. It was especially noted for the unusual lyrics (Javed Akhtar) in the rock songs and the balancing effect of the slow songs among the rock. It was recorded in five days from start to finish and features the actor Farhan Akhtar as vocalist on six out of the nine tracks. It is one of the few bollywood soundtracks in which the lyrics were written before the music was composed.
