Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Scrapbook Page

I am still processing all that I experienced walking into Galaxy's Edge for the first time.

All I keep saying is AMAZING!!!

No other words come.

I really felt like I was on another planet! The sounds are incredible. You feel like planes are flying above your head. If Chewie is talking to someone across the land from you, you hear it in your part.

Totally immersive experience. When you leave, it's like your brain goes, "Wait, what did I just experience." Your eyes go, "Did I really just see that." Because when you leave the land, you can't even hardly see it.

Can not wait to go again!

For this scrapbook page, I found an outline of Batuu, and used all my swag like a SMASHBook page.

Disneyland Scrapbook Pages

Been enjoying my first year as an Annual Passholder to Disneyland.

There are so many things to take pictures of and LOVE the photo pass.

Gets overwhelming to scrapbook. I've been setting a rule of about 4 to 5 pictures per ride, parade, event ect. that way I have an idea of what I am going to be scrapbooking in advance.

Minnie's Valentine's Day Surprise

Had so much fun participating in the Minnie's Valentine's Day Surprise.

All you do is buy the card, $6.99 and you can apply your Annual Pass Discount. I bought both cards $13.98 and my discount was $2.80.

We went ahead and received are prizes, which was Valentines cards with all the images we were on the hunt for.

I took pictures of all them around the park and my friend put the stickers on the card. Some were really easy to find and spot. A couple of them I never thought we would find!

I had to come home and scrapbook all of the pictures. It was fun walking around the park and noticing new things.

Disney Planner

I decided to make my own planner this year. I had all the rings, the weekly spread, monthly spreads, Washington, stickers, and printables. I bought a Mickey Mouse folder at Target during back to school time. Love the pockets to hold my extra printables.

I love Disney and decided to decorate all Disney. I used printables from My Life Planners, Victoria Thatcher, some I found myself, some I made myself, old scraps of scrapbook paper, and cut up old calendars I had saved for years and did nothing with.

My goal was to have the whole year decorated but only made it to June. Stay tuned for my June layouts. Will be all Star Wars just in time for the new Star Wars Land to open at Disneyland.

I'm not sure why these are not posting in order either, so sorry about that.

So excited to finish this book. I was having trouble completing it and finally used some filler pages to finish.

Love using filler pages, just glue and go, and not really care about the outcome. Some of them become some of my fave pages.

My first intention was to do anything out door related but then kept adding random things, which that is what SMASH Style Scrapping is all about.

I have so much fun with this book. I might not travel Internationally but it is still perfect for Road Trips, Day Trips, and Plane rides.

I love having all the travels in one place. Fun to look back on several trips and many memories at once.

I have been making floating ornaments for a few years now and this year wanted to try some new ideas.

I want my whole Christmas Tree to be home made ornaments, so have been busy getting them made.

I've used my Cricut Explore Air, cartridges, and uploaded images. I used slice to change the colors.

I do not own these images. I just googled my favorite Christmas Movies.

Travel Scrapbook Album Flip Thru

I can't get away from the Smashbook style, even in my normal scrapbooks.

I love saving menus, business cards, brochures, and postcards.

My sister found this album at a thrift store and gave it to me. I wanted vacation all in one place instead of all over random style of Smashbooks.

We got back in the middle of July and finished this last weekend!

Used lots of flips and used my Cricut Print and Cut feature. Saves so much time!

CHA 2016

I am part of a Creative Crew at A Creative Journey with Melissa. She is a fabulous designer, that has her own stamp line! Please check out the amazing Inspiration Gallery. Such a talented group of ladies. I'm honored to be part of this group.

It was such an honor to represent Melissa at CHA 2016!!! Oh so exciting to see all the new products, trends, and new tools! Its so hard to see it all but I tried! I found some new lines I love, met some new designers, and have so much inspiration!

I'll start at the beginning of our trip. Always love when we first get to the Anaheim Convention Center! So much excitement and I kinda turn into a kid at Disneyland - which of course it's right by Disney so its the same feeling!

Last year we started at the back, this year we started at the other side. Right off the back I saw something I muse have!!!

The Downton Abbey Collection! I even did a video of the papers so you can see how beautiful they are.

Their catalog was digital, so really cool to flip thru on their ipad station. I also saw The Crafters Companion Machine at work. Cut and emboss at the same time.

At the Doodlebug booth, I loved all the happy colors! I also loved the 12x12 Clipboards. Can't wait to buy one for my wall. Can hang and change out creations easily!

Hands down, the cutest booth! I followed The Paper Trail and took a few pictures. Super busy booth with a make n take going on. Wish I could have seen more. But did get some neat paper samples for paint and spray inks. It doesn't bleed thru to the other side. How genius is that?

Sooooo Coloring Books!!!!! We all have been going crazy over this trend. I am in LOVE with these Alice in Wonderland by Marion Smith. Ohhh my, I wanted to take them all home with me!

Her scrapbook paper and designs are really pretty. I was able to spend a few minutes on a make n take. They all match her wonderful planners too. As a newbie to the planner world, I was excited on how I can use my stamps mixed with my other scrapbooking items. I started two last year but now have more ideas how to make this years even better!

All the rage this year is Periscope Oh so much fun to watch all the live action at CHA when I was there and when I couldn't be. I've learned so much from watching the video's. Felt like I was in a class, when a video was being taken from inside a class. At Marion Smith's booth, she was Periscoping, and we kinda photo bombed her broadcast. It was funny. I took a screen shot.

I love the Snap books and lies by Simple Stories and they have some new designs and fun sizes. I need that pink stripe one BAD!!! lol

I really like this Life in Color and You Are Here. I would use it all.

I am in love with this collection of States by Echo Park. The back side is the whole state. I want to buy the South Dakota to put in a shadow box for my wall. 99% of my extended family are from SD.

This collection spoke to me too!

Fell in love with the Websters Pages booth and planners!

Look at this beauty! Love the colors and I have so many ideas for mine now!

We stopped at the Art Anthology booth and did a make n take. Can't believe it, those ladies talked my CEO - Carry Everything Out guy to participate. He had so much fun and finally had inky fingers!!! I must admit I have been intimidated to try mix media. Not anymore, I'm hooked!!! My money in the next few months will be on inks for sure!

Every year, I look forward to the amazing Graphic 45 booth! The paper is so beautiful and the projects they create are stunning!

We saw Vanna White at the Lion Brand Yarn runway show. I look forward to the displays they have every year.

I have known Crystal online for several years. Never could get together in person. Way cool, to meet at CHA! I'm so excited for her new company Sabor Papel Look at the beautiful colors!

I was so excited to get my hands on these stamps! I had so many ideas for both Speech Bubble Sets. I couldn't wait to use them in my SMASHbooking, Pocket Pages, and Cards.

The first project I made was a page about my sister and I getting lost trying to find a mall. This is in the Mod Style Smashbook.

I stamped the arrows on colored scraps. Love using up all scraps on a page! I wanted to convey direction, since we were lost. Just so happened to find some help from some Presidents! lol

I stamped some of the different bubbles on other scraps and used them for journalling. I used some of the word stamps from the set as well!

The second page I created was page about an amusement park. I had these pictures of my man with a statue and knew these stamps were perfect! This is in the Int'l Style Smash Book.

I used the Speech Bubbles again for journalling. Misc. journal boxes, leftover letter stickers, and left over hearts from another project.

I also couldn't wait to create a card set. I had this really busy scrapbook paper that I knew would be perfect cut for a card! I love the versatility of the words that come with the Speech Bubble Set. Made some just Hello Cards, Hi There Cards, and Happy Birthday!

With the Larch Speech Bubble set I knew the bubbles would make perfect background paper for a picture I had of my Dad and my Great Nephew reading together.

I used a pocket style page protector. Love how when you just have one picture, they are perfect to showcase the story. I stamped in different colors the Speech Bubbles on one side. Then I used scraps again from a left over 6x6 paper pack for the other pocket.

I have been saving this picture for some time. Only my Great Niece looked at the camera but loved how everyone was looking at her. I used a journal card but cut it up to fit in the Speech Bubbles.

For my last page with the Large Speech Bubble I did of my dog Scooter. I have hundreds of him sitting at the table like this. He always jumps up and "Prays" with us! This set was perfect to show off the picture. He always looks like he is saying, "where is my plate?" Used left over letter stickers and scraps from some pet pages to complete the page.

The first project I created, was in my Oh Snap book. I have had these pictures of my brother and his two boys sitting in a pile forever. As soon as I saw the Weather Related Stamp Set I knew exactly that the set was perfect for these pics.

One of my favorite things to do is buy the random box of cards at the discount stores. I use them for everything. For bases of Cards, in Scrapbooking, in Smashbooking, and other crafts. I just can't pass up 50 cards for around $2.00.

I loved this set by My Minds Eye called Denim Shop. I used a couple card faces to create a frame and stamped the sun image on white paper, punched with my one inch square punch, inked the edged and layered with another pattern of the card faces. Did the same with the saying. I hand wrote my journalling and layered. I used a pocket style page insert and trimmed to fit. The main page just has some card faces again and added the picture. I'm in love with this layout! So happy and fun!

For the next project, I created a card. I love to give cards to my friends and family. Especially if they are going through some hard times or having a bad day. I keep them on hand and hide them in their car or at their house, and have stuck them in their purse to surprise them.

I used the basic card base. I just cut out of the yellow card base a wide banner. Layered a one inch strip of red polka dot paper, and then a half inch of the big polka dot paper for the top. I stamped the sun image, the colored in with pencils. I made the inside a lighter shade of yellow by using a tiny bit of water and coloring. I also stamped four hearts in each corner. Punched out with my go to one inch square punch, used pop dots, and layered on another patteren. Did the same for the fun saying!

My favorite image in this set are the clouds! I stamped twice, colored one in, and left the other blank. I can't wait to give this to a friend.

The last project I created was a Card in a Box. I searched a few different tutorials for these and kinda made my own. I just went to Pinterest and searched Card in a Box. I wanted the patteren paper to show so came up with just using my tape runner to fold down the patteren side to the outside and love the result.I used the sun, cloud, heart, and umbrella stamps. I used three clouds and the heart upside down to resemble rain but the sun coming out. I just staggered the images on strips of white paper to make it look 3D. I love the saying on this stamp set! I attached it to the front and inked the edges!

Hello Kitty Cards in a Box

I needed to make a card for a friend to match a folder I made her. I wanted something different and decided to try to make a Card in a Box.

I also wanted it to fit in a standard envelope. After some googling and pinteresting, I found this tutorial by CARDZTV.

Don't let it intimidate you. It will take some time for the first one. OK it took me a hour lol but then I couldn't stop when I finished the first one! I ended up making 8 in total.

I used my Hello Kitty paper pack and scraps! Hope you try it too!

CHA - 2015

I am honored to be part of the design team for A Creative Journey with Melissa. Her stamps are amazing and so versatile for all paper crafting needs. Cards, pages, smashing, ect.

We were able to attend CHA this year to see the latest trends and products from all the major craft companies.

The journal cards, aka Project Life cards, were everywhere! Colors on tap this year are glitter and gold. Many lines had foil papers and polka dots. Loved the Photo Sleeve Fuse by We R Memory Keepers! Can make your own pockets out of any page protector.

My favorite new line was from Simple Stories the I Am line is fabulous and the 4x6 new albums are fabulous!

I stopped at the Books by Hand booth and loved the kits to make your own books. Everything is pre cut for you, lines, string, everything you need to make your own book. I'm excited to try that for sure.

I didn't see any new SMASH lines by EK Success but each company had their own version of the smaller albums.

Floating Christmas Ornaments

I did not have the right ingredients to make these. I also didn't want to spend 50 for printable transparencys. I did have write on ones! I cut the transparency out of my Cricut a 2.5 inch ornament from the Artiste Cartridge. I did have to cut twice. Then I used vinyl lettering and made sure the letters fit. Totally worked!

Dress Form Christmas Tree

I love Dress Forms! Someone posted on my timeline, this beautiful dress form tree. I just knew I had to try one too.

I had bought a three pack of dress forms to hang jewelry on for my bathroom a few years ago. They were black and I spray painted pink. Yup, still not on the wall lol.

I had bought a $2.00 tree at Target last year for the bedroom and stuck the dress form on top.

I had some scrap lace and wrapped around the tree.

For ornaments, I used my Cricut Artiste Cartridge. I cut out Eiffel Towers, Dressforms, Shoes, Chandeliers, and Fleur de Lis. I used my eyelet punch for the holes and used some ribbon to make ties. I had some left over part of a scarf I had made and turned that into the tree skirt!

I loooove how it came out! Makes the bedroom look so pretty!

I am thrilled to be able to share creations made with these stamp sets.

The new stamp releases are the Greetings on the Go and Birthday Wishes stamp sets. We are also highlighting our amazingly cute and versatile Everyday Alphabet stamp sets throughout this hop as well.

I am highlighting the Birthday Wishes stamp set for this blog hop. I had so much fun making a few cards and using it on a scrapbook page. Love how you can use these stamps in all paper crafting!

I stamped the balloon with Versamark and embossed to make it stand out. I cut the tails and balloons but put the green on the blue and blue on the green. I used the Alpha set to stamp his name over and over. The way these stamps are cut, makes them really line up straight. I used the image as background paper. I used a tag that came with the paper pack, but added the Happy Birthday stamp image. I don't get to scrapbook my nephews very much so I love how this turned out.

I also wanted to make some Birthday Cards. Several birthdays are coming up, so nice to have them ready for the next party!

I used my embossing folders, some ribbon, some washi tape, and love how crisp the Happy Birthday image is. On the second card, I colored in the balloon image with colored pencils. Used a different embossing folder and more ribbon.
