I just received my second LooksBook and I still love the whole concept of it! The book is so cute and nicely decorated. The theme for September was "Revival" and included three products to allow me to revive myself because life is wild and unpredictable.

The book opens up and explains how to use each product with color photos. All of the products go very well together. I love how everything fits perfectly in the book and it can be carried in my purse easily.

It included an Agave Eye Shadow Duo. This applied easily and the colors went well together. I applied it as instructed but it is much lighter than the photos show.

There is also a Flora Spectrum Mascara. It is actually bluish colored but does not make lashes look really blue. I am a huge fan of Starlooks mascara, but this mascara seemed to be thinner than the others. It did not create much volume either.

Lastly, there was a tube of Rawr! Matte Lipstick included. It looks really bright in the tube but after applying it, it is not so dramatic. It is not a bad color but really washes me out. It's a bit too pink for me this time of year since I don't have much tan left.

Here I am only wearing the three products from this Looksbook. Even though I don't think this months Looksbook is the best choice for me, I still love the surprise of it. Who knows what next month will bring. I'm sure it will be wonderful!

I highly recommend Starlooks to any beauty addict. It makes a great gift idea as well.

I just received my first LooksBook and I totally love the whole concept of it! The book is so cute and nicely decorated. The theme for August was "Resort Edition" and included three products to remind me that summer isn't over yet.

The gift cards got me about $60.00 worth of freebies so it is definitely worth the $12.00 a month.

My Review:

I recently had the chance to review a Luv2Kiss lip liner pencil by Lashem. I admit, I was a bit skeptical about applying a clear lip liner. I thought there was no point. I was wrong! After using it for the first time, I knew it made a huge difference. It kept my lipstick where it was supposed to be and even made it last longer. It enhanced the color slightly as well. There is no more lipstick bleeding or smudging with this stuff. I can definitely say I would highly recommend it to anyone who wears lipstick and wants to keep it in place.

My Review:

As you may already know, I am a Starlooks addict and have reviewed several of their products. I love and adore every single one. I received a couple new items to promote the new Starbox. I got a Lip Pencil in Roseate and Cream Blush in Fallen Angel. The lip pencil is an awesome color and matches my normal lipstick perfectly. The blush is lighter than I normally would wear but I am tan right now. If it wasn't summer time, it would be a great color for me because my skin would be lighter. I was not able to customize this box but will be able to in the future. I have already ordered my June box and can't believe how much stuff you can get for $12. It was so easy and fun to do! I can't wait to see the new products and order more stuff with the gift cards. You'll have to wait until next month to see my review or order your own. My Review:

My Review:

I recently had the chance to review two products by Pura d'or. I received Premium Organic Argan Oil Based Hair Loss Prevention Therapy Shampoo & Premium Organic Argan Oil Based Conditioner, Lavender Vanilla. They both come in large 16 oz. bottles and have pumps to make dispensing easy.

The shampoo is a bit runny but lathers up nicely and has a fresh scent. You should leave it on for two minutes then rinse. I think it leaves a tacky feeling on my hair until I condition it but it is not a big issue. I can tell by the way my brush looks, that my hair is falling out less since I have been using this. I used to pull a handful of hair out of my brush daily but now there are only a few in there.

The conditioner smells amazing and much better than the shampoo. I can smell more vanilla than lavender, which I like more. It leaves my hair feeling silky, soft, and manageable. My Review:

I recently received a Hango Lunch Box Set to review. I received the black set which is my favorite color (yay!) They arrived in a nice tote bag. After filling one up with food and an ice pack, it stayed cool for several hours. I'm impressed with how well they work. I really like having the smaller one available for having snacks on the go. These would have been perfect when the kids were babies to carry their bottles and baby food. I would definitely recommend Hango to anyone who wants a stylish lunch box set that keeps things cool. My Review:

I recently had the chance to review a one month subscription of socks from Sharing Small. I just had to let them know if my daughters sock size was small, medium, or large. We received a lovely package with two pairs of socks, a poster, and a sticker. This months theme was parachuting and the back of the poster had a story about the Sharing Small Explorers parachuting adventure.

Both pairs of socks were the same. It would be nice if they were different because my daughter likes to mismatch her socks but they are really cute. They have little guys parachuting and the Sharing Small logo on them. It appears the socks are all unisex so boys or girls can wear any of them.

The socks fit great and have washed up well. They are made well and are made to last. I would definitely recommend Sharing Small to anyone who has a child who loves to get surprises in the mail. It is a fun subscription that they will use. You can subscribe HERE.

I recently had the chance to review a Petunia derma roller. I have used other derma rollers in the past and had success with them but I had never used one this fine. If you have never used one before, it does take some getting used to. The needles actually penetrate your skin but I don't think it is painful. It feels like a lot like that tingling sensation you get when your foot falls asleep. The needles don't penetrate enough to draw blood because you just run it over your skin enough to leave dotted lines. Don't press hard! It comes with an e-book with very detailed instructions on how to use it for all of the skin conditions above. It's amazing how this little tool can replace numerous surgical procedures if you follow the guidelines and keep with it. I have seen results myself and will continue to use it. My Review:

I recently had the chance to review a bottle of Areta parameters. I was told awhile back that I had a trace of blood in my urine after a routine check at my Neurologist's office. I recently had the chance to review a Magnetic Screen Door by Quality Source Products. I wanted this screen for my basement door which is one of those sliding doors. We are going in and out of it all summer because our pool is right by the walkout that this door leads to. The door is difficult to open and close so when one of the kids runs in to go to the bathroom, they leave it open. It drives me crazy! I recently had the chance to review an expandable hose by Quality Source. I was really shocked at how light it was when it arrived. I took advantage of the first warm day here in Indiana to try it out by washing my new truck. It hooked up easily and built up pressure quickly. It has a shut-off valve on the end so you can adjust how much water comes out. It is a pretty small hose in diameter so it didn't create a lot of pressure but it did work good to wash my truck. I loved how light it was to pull around and think it will work great to water my roses this spring. After I was done, I just unhooked it from the house and it sprang back to the normal size as the water ran out. My Review:

I recently had the chance to review a patch of Doggie Lawn. I have seven dogs and a cat that typically stay in the house at night. They are all housebroke and are on a perfect schedule. They want let out on weekends at the same time they get let out through the week when my husband goes to work. I had noticed awhile back that someone was peeing in front of the door every once in awhile at night and figured it might be one of the older dogs. I just thought they were having a hard time holding their bladder so long. After this Doggie Lawn arrived, I noticed the cat was very attracted to it. She was all over it before I even got it out of the box. As soon as I got the patch in the tray, she was sniffing around in it. I placed it in front of the door and introduced my dogs to it. They had no interest in it. I stayed back and kept an eye on it for awhile. Finally, I saw the cat go over and pee in it! She went back to it numerous times but I wanted her to use her litter box so I moved the patch next to it. I couldn't believe she was the culprit the whole time! She continued to pee on the patch sometimes and also used her litter box. I figured she had an issue with the brand of litter I was using and changing that. When the patch got worn out, I threw it out and have not seen any more pee in front of the door. I don't know why she has always wanted to go outside even though she is an indoor cat. She definitely liked the real grass. I plan on using Doggie Lawn for my next litter of puppies because there is an obvious animal attractant to it. My Review:

I recently had the chance to review a customizable photo blanket from Collage. I was able to choose any photo(s) and create my blanket easily online. I chose these three photos that I took of my kids last fall. I cherish the biggest picture because it was one of those rare moments that they allowed me to take their picture together without making silly faces. It's one of my favorite pictures of them together so I wanted to get something special made with it.

My Review:

I recently had the chance to review three products by Leather Nova. They sent me their Leather Cleaner, Leather Conditioner, & Conditioner & Cleaner. Even though I have several leather items at home, I mainly wanted to try these products on the seats of my new Tahoe. I just got it a few weeks ago and it is the first vehicle I have ever had with leather seats. This truck is my baby and I want to do everything I possibly can to protect it inside and out. Even though my seats weren't really dirty, I still tried it out. First, I used the Leather Cleaner first and sprayed it on the included microfiber towel. I wiped the seats down. My seats looked great already! I did notice the towel left little pieces behind but hopefully this will go away after it is washed. Next, I applied the Leather Conditioner and left it on for an hour. Then I buffed it away. I did this on the two front seats and you could tell a difference from the back seats. For the back seats, I used the Conditioner & Cleaner. I just applied it with the included pad and allowed it to dry for thirty minutes. After that, I buffed it out. All of my seats looked amazing, clean, and restored. I know it is very hard to show shiny black leather in photos but here are my before and after pictures of my seat...
