Out of Hand {contest}

I'm a little late for yesterdays feature.... BUT its a great one and well worth the wait! It's for a shop on Etsy called Out of Hand. The designer has been making adorable shoes & boots for little ones about 3.5 years now!! Shaunna is a mommy of two little boys. She loves spending quiet moments with her little ones. In fact, her favorite mommy memories with both of her boys is the time she spent nursing them in the quiet hours of the night. She heard about etsy from a friend and decided that it would be a fun experience for her to sell some of her adorable creations. Her favorite items to make are the baby shoes, she says the fabric and design possibilities are endless and the shoes are a fun way to dress up your child while keeping them totally comfortable. She has so many designs to choose from and her boots are just as cute as the shoes.

For the review process I received a pair of shoes and boots. The shoes I hand made were a pair of STEELERS fabric shoes and the boots had a tattoo style fabric with the typical "LOVE" hearts on them similar to these. Both pairs were VERY well made. We loved putting our little Mikaela in her STEELERS shoes for game days while the STEELERS were still playing :P They are very light weight and she isn't bothered by them being on her feet at all. They even stay on and are a little too big for her. I love that they can be easily thrown in the wash with her clothes and do not become deformed at all! I think all of you will really like the variety and quality of Shaunnas items!! Make sure to look through them all, she has a LARGE selection!

Brooklyn Ella Couture {feature}

Good afternoon everyone!! Today's feature is for a Bridal & hair accessories shop on etsy called Brooklyn Ella Couture. Samantha is an artist, teacher, homemaker, wife and (best of all) mommy. As a stay at home mom, she enjoys spending those "naptime" moments twirling and tying ribbons, adorning sequins, sewing feathers and vintage materials onto these unique mini works of art that you will see in her shop! The name "Brooklyn Ella" came from her daughter. After Samantha gave birth to her daughter, she transferred her love of vintage obsession into creating unique hair accessories for her. Three fabulous hair accessory lines later, she has grown her business to share her passion for quality hair adornments for adults and brides!

For the review process, I received a headband and a few of Samantha's hair clips. The headband was gorgeous! The headband was a satin rose with accent feathers and beads like this one. It was VERY well made and it was a LOT more adorable in person! I absolutely love it! The clips were these and these, again.. both sets were very well made and adorable. Samantha is great and easy to work with and I received the items in the mail pretty fast! Everything was exactly as pictured and I was very happy with everything! I highly recommend Samantha's shop for all of her pieces after seeing these. :)

Crawler Covers & More {contest}

Happy Friday Everyone!! I hope your week has been fabulous! Tonight's feature is for an Etsy shop called Crawler Covers & More. The shop carries super cute leg & arm warmers, doll diapers and cute hair accessories. The designer originally started making the warmers for her daughter, and a few friends were interested in them and suggested that she start selling them.... so she started with a shop on eBay but found that she loved the community feel of Etsy so she decided to stick with Etsy instead. The name "Crawler Covers & More" was something the designers husband came up with on a whim one night and it stuck. She enjoys making doll diapers best because her daughter really loves them!!

I received a couple of pairs of leg warmers for the review process. They were absolutely adorable and I use them on my daughter all the time! I personally LOVE the convenience of the leg warmers! Diaper changes are so much quicker and its so easy to change her clothes as well! I get tons of compliments on how cute the leg warmers are as well! The quality was amazing and flawless... the shipping was really quick as well! I definitely recommend this shop for leg warmers! The quality and prices are great whether looking for your own little ones or for a gift!

Hi everyone!! Tonight's feature is for a shop called Scrunch Nose Sews on etsy. She makes REALLY adorable baby shoes! Ashleigh was born and raised in Nevada, and loves living so close to Tahoe and the mountains. She is a follower of Jesus Christ and views this career as a way to stay home with her children, while providing for them and sharing the Word of God. She models her roles as wife, mother, and business owner after the Proverbs 31 woman, and even has it tattooed on her wrist as a constant reminder. She is inspired to create by simple things like laughter. Her designs are a reflection of the innocence and preciousness of childhood. She has a wonderful husband who has been by her side from day one of the crazy adventure called Scrunch Nose Sews. Her mom and dad are two of her biggest supporters in life, and she can't imagine a world without them.

I received a couple of pairs of shoes from Ashleigh's shop and LOVE them! One pair was actually Mikaela's Christmas shoes! They were black and had candy canes & hello kitty on them! They are so adorable! All of the shoes I chose were VERY well made and so cute! I love that I can just throw them in the wash with the rest of her clothes and they wont warp or become misshapen! These shoes are perfect for little boys and girls! The quality is great and her prices are AMAZING!!

Ali's Place {contest}

Hi everyone!! Today's feature is for a shop on Etsy called Ali's Place. Ali designs stuffed animal head blankets, headbands, hats and dresses! She is a stay at home mom with my little girl who is about to turn one! She loves all things girly, soft & cuddly and anything else that is super cute. Ali's mom is her best friend and has taught her everything she knows about sewing. They love checking out cute boutiques, and can spend hours in fabric stores. Ali also loves trying new ideas and making things with cute fabrics. Her ultimate dream is to someday have her own fabric line.

The items I received for the reviewing process were an elephant head blanket like the one pictured below (mine was brown), a hat and a bonus headband that Ali snuck in my package! I have actually used every item!! The elephant is VERY adorable and well made! It is perfect for laying Mikaela down on the couch next to me! I think she will love this blanket for a few years! The hat was also adorable and well made, Mikaela wore it home from the hospital when she was born. :) AND the headband is amazing!! I wore it during labor to keep my hair out of my face!! I still wear it for normal every day wear as well! I LOVED every item I received! I think you will all love Ali's shop too!!

Baby Hair Delights {mini-contest}

Hi everyone!! I hope your week was fabulous! Tonights feature is for a shop on etsy called Baby Hair Delights. Christina makes really cute hair accessories as well as pacifier clips. She has been married three years in December and they had their first child this last march. She said her adorable daughter was born with a head full of hair. So right away she wanted to make sure she had tons of cute little hair accessories to put in it. The little one is now 7 months and growing quickly. So she was the inspiration and reason for starting Baby Hair Delights. Christinas husband created the name for the shop. Her favorite items to make are the felt hair accessories because she really loves how cute they turn out as well as how they look when people wear them in their hair!

The items i received were a couple of headbands and also an owl pacifier clip. The headbands were really adorable just like their images. The quality was amazing and they shipped very quickly. Mikaela, our little princess actually wore one of them for her first time seeing Santa! It looked really adorable! The pacifier clip I received was also adorable. It was a little felt owl with a teeny bow on its head! That also was very well made and very sturdy, so it could take some beating around if it were traveling in a diaper bag or something. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for elegant yet cute & stylish bows and pacifier clips for their little ones or as a gift! LadyBeez Designs {mini-contest}

Good Morning Everyone!! Todays feature is for a shop on etsy called LadyBeez Designs. Brittany carries really cute knot dresses as well as baby leg warmers (BeezLegs)! She originally started her shop to give her readers a chance to purchase some of the creations that she made on her personal blog. When Brittany started making BeezLegz, the idea kind of took off and took over and it's just been much easier to streamline my listings to a few items. For more about Brittany, check out her personal blog and also her LadyBeez Blog.

For the review process, I was sent a couple fabulous pairs of Beezlegz. One pair was the green zebra below, which are just as bright and amazing in person as they are below! The other pair I received were a purple, green and orange argyle with black. Both pairs were very well made and soft! I use them on our little Mikaela all the time with her onesies! They make things so much quicker for changing diapers, clothing, etc. They are easy to throw in a diaper bag as well if you are in need of an additional outfit on the go. Lebelle Boutique {contest}

Happy New Years weekend everyone! I hope you have something fun and SAFE planned for the holiday! I'm so excited to bring in the new year with our new little lady Mikaela! She is growing SO FAST i feel like! Today's feature is for a hairbow shop on etsy called Lebelle Boutique. Cayce makes the cutest boutique style bows and there are SO MANY variations to choose from in her shop! Cayce started her etsy shop in 2010 when she decided that she was tired of spending lots and lots of money on baby shower gifts when she could make them myself. She started making tutus and hair bows, then eventually moved on to dresses, headbands, etc. Now that Cayce has a daughter, she says she has the perfect inspiration for new items. Cayce loves making new hair bows! She says its a lot of fun, plus she gets to model them on her daughter. She is a cute little 12 month old princess!

The items i received for the review were a hairbow similar to the ones in her shop as well as a tutu! THEY WERE GORGEOUS! I am obsessed with the tutu and i am NOT the "tutu" type at all! haha. I just love it so much and cant wait until Mikaelas first birthday, so that she can wear it! Right now, her stuffed hippo is wearing it, haha. The items were both VERY well made and I received them super fast! Cayce was really nice to work with and is a great business person as well. Happy Tuesday everyone!! I hope your Christmas was amazing! We had a great 1st Christmas with our little lady Mikaela! It was so much fun! Today's feature a a clothing shop on etsy called apericots. They make clothing for all ages, from infants to adults. Apericots was founded by a group of parents, creative minds and friends that united to form an environmentally conscious and unique alternative to all the "lame" baby clothes out there. They love their babies, our planet and their products.... and know you will as well!

I received a couple of their bodysuits for the review process. They were really adorable and hip! The bodysuits were very well made and washed well!! The inks used for the bodysuits did not bleed or fade at all and they do not feel stiff like some shirts with photos on the front. The bodysuits are very soft and high quality to the touch. I really love the bodysuits I reviewed and I think everyone else will be very satisfied as well with these products!

London Blue Designs {feature}

Tonight's feature is for a fabulous accessory shop on Etsy called London Blue Designs. The designer is mostly inspired by her daughter London. She is her Hero, she says... which is ADORABLE. They adopted her at birth and she has a muscle disorder that keeps her from being able to walk. She is 2 yrs.old now and is so so smart, despite being unable to walk she is always so happy and never complains. She absolutely LOVES shoes, the more colorful the better.. the designer says. The designer has even made headbands to match some of her crazy shoes! Such an adorable story!! I absolutely love it! The London Blue Designs shop carries the most fabulous little hair accessories! They are very elegant and just adorable for all the little ladies out there!

I received a zebra hat with a large flower as well as a couple of hair clips from the London Blue Designs shop for the review process. The items arrived in perfect condition and were adorable! The zebra hat is similar to the one posted in the image below, mine just has a green flower with pink center... you can see mine in the shop as well! The hair clips were also FABULOUS!! Everything was perfectly made and looks like it would be sold in a high end boutique or something! I think the items in this shop would be perfect for any little princess! My Little Feather {Huge Contest}

Happy Friday everyone!! We have a big contest in time for the Holiday Season! I hope everyone is excited, there are items for multiple winners! The shop I am featuring is called My Little Feather on Etsy. Heather makes some really unique and cute items which are mostly owls! She has always liked birds and since owls were so popular when she started crafting again, she thought she would try making some. Luckily that paid off because they sell very well she said. Good Morning everyone! I hope you are all getting ready for Christmas stress free!! We went out Christmas shopping this past weekend and it was so busy, we had fun though! We cannot wait for our little lady's first Christmas! We plan to take her to meet mall Santa this coming weekend!

Today's feature is for a hair accessories shop on Etsy called Sweet and Lovely Hair Creations. The designer is a 26 year old lady named Wendy who married her high school sweet heart! She is really nice and easy to work with! She currently has a very wide variety of hair pieces in her shop. There are even a few holiday ones if you are still in need! I received a couple of her headbands for the review process. The ones I chose were bright and like the one on the top right in the image cluster below. Happy Friday!!! Tonights feature is a shop called So Abigail on Etsy. They are perfect if you are looking for adorable outfits for the Holidays!! They sell a large variety of applique clothing and leg warmer sets.. I featured just a few of their holiday sets below! So Abigail was started for fun, and it just took off. The designer named it after her daughter because she is mostly inspired by her!! She has always been into creating things as gifts, so she figured why not give etsy a shot! She said she never would have started making children’s clothing if it wasn’t for her daughter!!

The set i received for the review process was so adorable!! The set included a white onesie with a black/white giraffe, a large bow to match and black/white striped leggings. Everything is really adorable and well made! I loved that the design was simple, but also unique. When i washed the items, they all stayed just as they were when I received them!! This is always something i look for with applique items! I was very pleased when the items came out of the dryer! I cannot wait until our little lady is big enough to wear her set! Make sure to check out all of their items!! They carry a lot more than just the Holiday ones below! The sets would be PERFECT as a holiday gift!

I was very curious to see what "wooden toys" were really like... and I am so glad this company was my first experience with them! The thought of a baby chewing on wood just made me nervous, but seeing and feeling how smooth this wood was made my worries go away COMPLETELY. I will gladly let our little girl play with this adorable teether/rattle when she is old enough! The item was very well made and really adorable in person! It was exactly like the image and the wood used is flawless just like the craftsmanship! You will NOT be disappointed with these items! Tara's Cozy Creations {mini contest}

Good afternoon everyone! i hope your day is going great! Today's feature is for an etsy shop called Tara's Cozy Creations. The designer is a grade 6 teacher and started sewing again about six years ago. She made all sorts of quilts and blankets for friends’ kids and her relatives. Eventually she ran out of people to give her amazing blankets to, so she started selling them. Once she first put her fingers on minky, she said she knew it was definitely love!! Tara loves creating new things and she appreciates when people challenge her and ask her to make things that are new to her! Tara says she always gets excited to create new items and also experiments until she has each and every one just perfect!

The items i received for the review process were a set of cheetah print seat belt covers and also a changing pad cover. I currently use both for our little one. The seat belt covers work and look amazing in our car seat. They were VERY well made and definitely a super stylish item to have for any baby or child! The changing pad cover is also well made and very soft! I actually use ours on the changing station on our pop and play and it fits perfectly! I love the lime minky fabric it was made with and it has been washed a few times and still looks brand new! I love both of the items i received and think that they are perfect for any little one!

Josie's Jewels {mini contest}

Happy Black Friday everyone!! I hope you are having a great time shopping! I also hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving to all who celebrate! Today's contest is for a shop on etsy called Josie's Jewels. The designer is married and a stay-at-home-mom to two beautiful children (3 years & 10 months old) and a "spirited" Boxer pup. She has always wanted to own her own business, but she never could find "that perfect thing" that she was passionate about until she had her daughter, Josie. After first having a son, she said it was a fun adventure to have a little girl to dress up in all of the bows and fun accessories that come along with little girls. She started making them for her little girl, and she had so much fun doing it that she started her own company and named it after her little "jewel". Hence the name, Josie's Jewels. In her free time, the designer attends church, sings, plays the piano and is always up for a game of tennis.

The items I reviewed were a couple of her fabulous headbands! One being the one that is the contest prize!! They were all simply fabulous! They reminded me of adult headbands for little girls! All of them were VERY elegant but super cute at the same time! The designer makes the headbands VERY well and they were all very sturdy, so no need to worry about our little ones playing too rough! I received the package very quickly and the designer is also very easy to work with! I think everyone will be very pleased with the quality and quickness of the items from Josie's Jewels! They would be perfect for anyones little princess!

Enchanting Flower {feature}

Hi everyone! I hope you are enjoying your day! It's raining like crazy here, so me and Mikaela {baby Peragine} are all snuggled up inside with the pets!! Today's feature is for a hair accessories shop on Etsy called Enchanting Flower. The shop designer is a mommy of 5 children and has been happily married for over 13 years! She enjoys going to the movies with her husband and she loves anything with chocolate!!! She also loves to create new headbands, it makes her feel relaxed and happy. The designer started to make headbands and hair bows for her 1st daughter around 2006. She said she has always dreamed of selling what she made, but it wasn’t until 2009 that she officially decided to go for it... thanks to a friend that always told her to sell her items. Also, in 2009 she got pregnant with her 2nd daughter and she remembers that she was very inspired and making all kinds of headbands for her . She started to plan, and then did some research. Enchanting Flower was opened on August of 2010. The name Enchanting Flower came from the movie Enchanted in 2007. The shop owner wanted to be Enchanting Flower, not Enchanted Flower. She said her flowers were going to be "Enchanting" not "enchanted" and she used to tell her husband “Someday I’m going to have a shop and I’m going to name it Enchanting Flower” and she did.

The items I reviewed were a couple of GORGEOUS headbands from the shop. They were so pretty in person and I loved how the flowers had sort of a realistic look to them, not your typical fake flower look. These were very delicate but well made. My pieces were exactly as pictured in the shop and it very pleasing! I believe these would be gorgeous pieces for adults as well as babies. They have a very elegant look to them and could be worn for every day wear or even if your little one is in a wedding. They would be perfect for any little girl/baby! Make sure to see the large variety carried in the shop! You will love them!

Boutique Shabby Chic {contest}

Happy Friday everyone!! Today's feature is for a cute little hairpiece & tutu shop on etsy called Boutique Shabby Chic! The shop owners worked at the same company for years and are great friends. Their first headbands were made because they just couldn’t find anything they loved in stores. They envisioned designs and color schemes and together, brought them to life. Their friends and family encouraged us them to finally open up their own shop on Etsy. After designing and crafting over the Thanksgiving holiday, they opened Boutique Shabby Chic on December 8, 2010. Since their opening, they have added photo blocks to our store as well as tutus. The blocks are an item that they both love and have given to both their friends and family. Each block is handmade , painted and sanded. They believe that their Etsy shop lets them express their creativity and provides them with an outlet to brighten someone’s day.

I received a couple of headbands for the review process! Mine were very similar to the ones currently pictured below.. The red one with the leopard band is almost exactly the same as one of mine. I really loved how well made these were! They were all very delicate as well as stylish! The materials used were very nice quality and well crafted. I LOVE the red leopard band used on my red one that is similar to the one below! I thought it was very gorgeous and unique! I loved each and every headband equally and cannot wait until our new baby girl gets big enough to wear them!!

Darling Designz {feature}

Good Morning everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! Today's feature is for an Etsy shop that makes the cutest little shoes and boots! The shops name is Darling Designz and is run by Kristen Darling. The name is a play on Kristens last name and the fact that the items she sells are specially designed for your little darlings! She runs her business out of her home, where she also does her most important job of being a mother to 2 little boys!! Kristen began her business as a hobby while on maternity leave with her first son. She started making things for him and as gifts for friends and family. Then later began selling them on etsy and locally and eventually on her own website as well. Kristen never returned to her day job again and her business is growing every day (as much as she can keep up to with 2 little ones)! Her main focus has become shoes but she does also carry other items.

The item I received for my feather was a pair of her glitter shoes like the ones shown int he images below. Mine were custom made with red glitter and black flowers. They are simply gorgeous!! Also, they are something made with glitter that you can touch without it getting everywhere!! I'm sure everyone knows what I mean when I say that!! The shoes are extremely WELL made and honestly, they look like something you would buy at a fancy baby boutique! They are flawless and perfect. My shoes were exactly how I thought they would look and Kristen was extremely easy to work with! Kristen has lots of exciting plans for the future and can't wait to see where this journey takes her, so make sure to check her shop frequently!

Caroline's Creations {mini-contest}

Hi everyone!! So sorry for the delay! I went to the hospital earlier this week and we had our baby on Wednesday! So I just got out of the hospital late yesterday and this is the first chance I've had to get online! This weeks contest is for a shop on etsy called Caroline's Creations. Caroline is a stay at home mom who loves to make things. Her etsy is kind of a continuation of something her & her aunt started shortly before her aunt had passed away. They were going to have a small business hand making children's clothing and accessories. Caroline was making the accessories, and her aunt was making the clothing. Right after they had came up with their "new" plan, she was diagnosed with cancer. The last advice she gave Caroline, before passing, was to enjoy life and do what she loves. This being said, Caroline loves to make things and that's how she ended up where she is. She loves getting to spend the days with her son (2) and daughter (6 mos.), while still creating things for others. In her eyes, it's the best place to be!

The contest prize is actually for the same items that I received! They are leak-proof breast pads to use while pregnant (if you leak) or as a mommy. They are perfect for me personally because I am a brand new mommy and plan to continue breast feeding! They make sure to keep your shirt wet if you leak. Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you are having a fabulous week! Today's feature is for an Etsy shop called Tales of Toot and Bubby. They have been open since Spring of 2009 and have been designing for 4+ years! The name of the shop comes from two children's nicknames which is super adorable! The designer has 4 children total and is an amazing stay at home mommy who creates everything from her own vision and with her own two hands! She loves to make little girl accessories most and actually began creating because she wanted to make adorable items for her own daughter due to not being able to find "high quality" without "high prices" which I think is awesome.. I have done the same thing for Baby Peragine recently... and it's so much more fun too! I love designing baby items... and cannot wait to design more once we find out the gender!

The items i received for the review process are the three down the right hand side int he image cluster below. They were/are all amazing! I couldn't tell you which one i love the most! They were all VERY well made and with high quality materials. I can't wait to put them on our baby if it is a girl! I love the colors and the materials used so much! The bodysuit as well as the applique on the front were very well made and it looks exactly how the image shows. I love that it looks like the old school "mom tattoos" that are so popular and well known!! Its such a fashionable little bodysuit!

Cute and Funny

I usually don't do Wednesday night features... but had to squeeze this one in last minute due to some schedule changes.. Tonight's feature is for an Etsy shop called Cute and Funny. They offer fun tees & onesies for babies, toddlers and youth. Their tees are all hand printed with funny sayings and cool graphics. The shop was created specially for kids and they have been printing tee shirts for a few years now. They have tons of fun printing and really enjoy every piece that is created.

I received two onesies for the review process. One that says "My Daddy Rocks" and another that says "I only cry when ugly people hold me"!! They are both awesome! These onesies are very nice quality onesies and the printing on them is very well done. Both of my onesies look extremely professional and I LOVE that you can care for them like any other piece of clothing.. I hate when there is a "special care" needed for something basic like a onesie! Elana is an amazing artist that has been designing for approximately 2 years, she runs the shop on Etsy called elanarosadesign. She creates both original and custom modern designs for baby, kids and your home. Everything is handmade by Elana including the fabric itself. She can work with any color scheme or idea, so if you are looking for something specific... make sure to contact her! A little history... Before Elana had her daughter, Noa, she was an Art Director at an Ad Agency. When designing the nursery for her daughter, Elana realized that being a designer... it is definitely hard to purchase things that other people had designed if there is any chance she could design something herself. Elana designed everything for her daughter's room and then it grew and grew into the collections that she has now. I can definitely relate on it being harder to shop when you are a designer yourself!

The item I received for the reviewing process is the pink/blue owl pillow in the image below. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE owls and have since I was little... so I was really excited when Elana wanted to be featured on RockinMommi.com! She made and shipped the pillow immediately. She was VERY easy to communicate with and the item was received really quickly.. which was really great for me personally because my features book super fast!! The pillows colors are GORGEOUS and the craftsmanship is perfect! There is not one flaw in this pillow and it is nice and PLUMP like a pillow should be! Looking for really elegant, yet adorable hairpieces for your little ones? Check out the gorgeous pieces from La Ange on Etsy! The name "Le Ange" is French for "The Angel" the name is dedicate to the designers little daughter Ashley, she is the inspiration for the start of the shop on Etsy. Joyce loves to design the Silk Rosette flowers best, they are from her "Ashley Collection". She carefully hand tears long strips of silk fabric and tightly rolls them, then she twists and wraps them into a one of a kind rose bud. Everything she does, slightly changes the design and she absolutely loves seeing how her one of a kind Silk Rosette turns out. She says it’s definitely one of the more difficult and time consuming items to make, but she puts her heart and soul into making each and every one. She hopes that people will see the quality and enjoy wearing them, as much as she enjoys creating them.

I received a few adorable pieces from this designer for the reviewing process. I chose a couple different flower pieces as well as this adorable bunny headband! Each of my pieces were VERY well made and you could never even tell they were made by hand. They were each special in their own way and extremely professional.
