I also believe there is not just one person who can fit the bill. It depends on a million variables, a million choices and currents that create the life we end up leading. I think it’s good news that there might be more than one soul mate for this lifetime. I also believe it’s entirely possible to spend a lifetime without ever crossing paths with any of them.

So, I have to be doubly grateful that I crossed paths with my true love twice in this lifetime.

The first time we were only 13 years old and even then we had enough of a connection to really feel it. The fact that we didn’t see each other for the next 25 years is confusing to both of us. Meant to be? We’ll never know.

I’m not a big believer in “meant to be.” I often resent the sentiment entirely. Probably partly because it’s so often said when something is lost. “Meant to be” makes me feel powerless and I don’t believe we are powerless. I believe we are able to create and manifest and that there is unlimited abundance for each of us in the universe. If we don’t have what we want, I believe we need to look at where we are blocking the flow of abundance to us and not look at a list of things that are (or are not) “meant to be.”.

I digress….

I’m talking about soul mates and about the man who brought down my walls and wrapped me up in his love; the man who promised to love me more with every year that passes and to continue to work on loving himself as much so that we can grow together and make up for lost time since we took so long to reunite.

I’m talking about my husband and I want to take this moment in time to say “out loud” how much I appreciate his love and his kindness and his sharing his soul with me.

There is marriage and then there is the marriage of souls. I think we have both and we cherish it and work on it constantly.

I wish as much for everyone else who desires it.

After I made my doll, I felt certain there were more waiting to be “born” and I had such a wonderful time facilitating their creation. But, I still didn’t know exactly what they were for.

I like to wear one around my neck sometimes. I like it to hang mid-chest so that I can hold it gently when I want to or when I feel I need some support. For me, it can be great to reduce my anxiety in the moment.  They are kind of heavy to consider average jewelry however.

People seem drawn to them but I still wasn’t sure how to best present them to share.

I was surprised recently when I was inspired to bring quite a few of them along with me for a weekend at the beach. I thought maybe they needed some fresh air. Or at the very least, they could play with me and my 4 year old.

Then I talked to a good friend who’d just had surgery and was in a lot of pain. I wished I was still in town and could go to her side, but I couldn’t. So, I said I’d like to try and do a long distance healing on her. I don’t do this professionally at this point and don’t feel totally confident about it. But, with someone I trust, I knew I could allow myself the freedom to open to my healing energies. And at the very least, I knew I could send her deeply loving energy and that’s always worthwhile.

It was that moment that I knew why I’d brought all my Spirit Friends! I would use one to help me tune in and focus on her. I ended up using my very first doll. This is one with legs and in this case it was best. I was surprised to find myself drawn to working on her legs for a long time. Surprised because her operation was in her abdomen and I assumed that was where I’d be most of the time.

For me, it was a wonderful experience and I look forward to discovering more about this method. It’s possible the doll did nothing more than help me stay focused. But I can also envision selecting a doll with different stones and different crystal energies to help out with a different healing .

Clear It, Transmute It, And Be Free. . .

How You Can Clear Your Energy Blocks

That persistent energy block. . . it could be something you feel in your body. It could be stuck feelings or thoughts. Now you can learn to clear it, transmute it, and be free. You can use your imagination to do each of the simple steps. Just pretend. You don’t have to visualize perfectly, or at all. Just imagine that you’re participating with each easy step. Soul healing now, within your reach. . .

Imagine that the palms of your hands can sense energy. You notice flowing energy, stuck energy, warm energy, cool energy. It’s ok if you think you’re just imagining it.

Use your sensing palms like radar. Find the blocks in your body. You may notice a shift in various places in your body. Don’t analyze it– just notice the blocked or stuck areas.

Clear it. Just pretend– lift the block out of your body. It’s ok to pretend. You’re sane. You’re safe. Lift the block out of your body, and place it far away from your body. Just look at it, or sense it. No judgment– just be aware of it.

Transmute it. Say, “I can do this,” and reach towards the block. Rotate the block, and notice how this lightens the energy block. Keep rotating it, and notice how it dissolves and crumbles away. Turn it this way and that, as it melts into nothingness.

Say, “I return this energy to the universe,” as you spread the melted energy all over the universe. Imagine it. You’re feeling better and better. This step is easy when you relax, focus, and work gradually and deliberately. The energy is now so light, you easily spread the last remaining particles all around the universe.

Be free. “Energy massage” the area where you cleared the block, and say, “You are safe, you are well, you feel great.” Your “energy hands” are moving just as if they were massaging, and in fact, that is just what you are doing. You imagine this, and yet it is really happening within your body’s energy. Your hands are massaging directly into the area that you are focusing upon, even though your hands are at a small distance from that area. It’s all really happening, because you linked your massaging hands with the area of the body needing integration.

Now use your massaging hands to smooth your entire body. You are not touching your body. Your hands are moving in massaging motions. You are using your palms to smooth your entire body, at a slight distance from your body. Say, “I am safe, balanced, and focused.”

Notice how you feel in body and mind, and repeat the process if needed. Be patient– sometimes you feel much lighter immediately, and sometimes it takes several repetitions to make a difference.

The technique, simplified:

Clear it- find the blocks and lift them out.

Transmute it- disperse the blocks and return the energy to the universe.

Be free- massage the area where the blocks were to stabilize and integrate.

Be patient- Repeat as needed. Notice the subtle improvements with each repetition. The changes are gradual, yet real.

When you are able to transform a situation, even if you only make small, yet gradual improvements, your confidence grows. Congratulations. . . You have taken these simple yet important steps in self-empowerment and soul wellness. Now you know that you will never be in a stuck place, with no way to shift the energy. You are learning that you have deeper abilities than you had realized.

So, instead I put some faith into the purity of the crystals and my focused intention and just dove in. I’d say my first try was promising.

And I would encourage anyone to try it. I used the book Gem Water: How to Prepare and Use Over 130 Crystal Waters for Therapeutic Treatments. I love this book and really trust the authors. I pondered which method to use for the longest time too. I spent time looking on the internet for glass test tubes. I quickly ruled out any methods where the stones come in contact with the water. For me, there’s just too much to worry about and from what I read and understand it isn’t necessary to get a good, powerful result.

I started by finding a good quartz wand to transmit the Amethyst energy into the water. I looked for one that was mostly clear. Personally, I like the ones with lots of fractures and even inclusions, but for this purpose it seems the best choice is less extra information. Since I was only using a big glass and not a pitcher, I chose a wand that’s about 7″ long. Then for the actual stone to make the elixir… I chose this little amethyst point because it had a lot of vitality and deep color.

The next step was cleansing the crystals. I ran them under cold water while visualizing any old or stagnant energy flowing down the drain. I connected with them as I did it and conveyed my intention to create a healing water. I also like to convey gratitude to the crystals. I love them so much and am so happy to have them with me.

I feel very confident with this method of cleansing crystals. I have never had a need to do anything drastic to feel like they were clear and fine. They sure do wake up when you do it too. And after, I just took them outside in the sunshine and left them there to dry.

I retrieved them after about 20 minutes. I don’t think it’s necessary to leave them in the sun, but it felt right to me in that moment. The book says to leave them sitting on an amethyst geode/cluster which is certainly a great idea. I didn’t do that.

Then I set them up (as in photo above) and that was it. Yahoo. How easy is that? I aimed the amethyst point toward the glass too. The book didn’t specify, but it seemed best to me.

I tried the water after about 15 minutes. According to the book, using this method, the water will be activated after 15 minutes and very intense after 2 hours.

I took a little sip and gave one to my husband. He’s my grounding tester. He isn’t quite as sensitive to crystals as I am and also isn’t so easily carried away by flights of fancy. He is able to tune in and has a very deep connection with crystals though, so I really like to hear what he feels.

I wasn’t sure if I was feeling something simply because I was taking a sip of water and focusing on how my body and energy responded. Which is not something I normally do, of course. But, after a couple of days the water did nothing, felt like nothing and carried no energy I could discern. Therefore, I feel my original sensations are validated.

Next time I will “fix” the vibration with Vodka or Brandy and make a prober Mother Tincture to use. Details on that to come.

Here are my initial observations of Amethyst water:
first sip after 15 minutes.
I felt pleasantly light headed with a slight energy buzz all over, mostly in my chest.
Then, about 30 m. later, I feel warm to surface of my skin and slight headache.

After two hours:
I spritzed my neck, top of head and slightly in face.
I felt instant energy. Intense and felt like pressure.
I really felt it in my teeth oddly enough.
Also got a headache.
Sinus?
Don’t know.

My conclusions from this first test are that I did indeed make an Amethyst activated water. The energy was very intense and for me personally drinking it or spraying freely was too intense after a couple of hours of charging. I’ll do another test and try some more subtle methods of use.

Does anyone else want to try? Let me know what happens if you do. It’s really pretty simple and straightforward.

Of course, these necklaces could simply be jewelry with stunning colors and uplifting, protective energies. But they can also be your working pendulum and if that’s your choice, I’d recommend using it every day or as often as you can.

The best advice I ever got and that I can share about pendulum work is to practice it! This is really the art of tuning to yourself and to the energies of the universe through your pendulum. Absolutely anyone can develop this skill and in the process of opening to allow light and energy and information in through pendulum work, you will also be enhancing your life by expanding your consciousness and your ability to trust your intuition and instincts.

Black Tourmaline is a powerful protection against negative energy. Black Tourmaline in Quartz Crystal is all that increased by the incredible power of light that is quartz. One of the most important stones in my healing and personal collection is Tourmalinated Quartz. The stones in this particular pendulum necklace also have really beautifully pronounced rainbows. So much power and light in one place.

Says Love is in the Earth, “It can also be used to activate grounding between the first chakra and the center of the Earth, providing for further enhancement of ones well-being on the physical plane, and protecting against those in the  spirit world and/or those on the physical plane who are not in the “light” and do not understand the love of the universe.”

And then there’s the Rose Quartz pendulum necklace. I’ve long been guilty of writing Rose Quartz off as just a lovely, gently energy. As if that isn’t enough to make it glorious! It’s taken me years and some life and growth to begin to understand the power of gentle love.

She shares so much information and direction about how to use crystals that you’ll certainly be satisfied.

My personal philosophy has always been that you don’t need to know anything about a crystal other than how it makes you feel. Regardless of what the books say, your intuition, your “gut” knows more. And each crystal will inform you just what it’s for, “who” it is, and how you can use it.

I’m still on the never-ending quest for more perfect stones. The holes need to be big enough to allow me to use a nice heavy guage wire so that they’ll be solid.

I also love the way this photo came out of my husband holding one. He holds his quite a lot of the time when he’s reading or working on the computer.

I find they fit nicely in my hand this way too.

I want to make a little video to show the movement of the stones. They have a loose-ness and spin a bit. I worried about it at first, but it seems to make them feel more fluid and “alive”.

This one has a fire agate lower body, quartz sphere chest and golden rutilated quartz head. The golden rutile in the head is very intense and pronounced. I love it. The arms are labradorite, golden rutilated, amethyst and red tiger eye. Of course the wire is sterling silver.

Another fire agate body with red rutilated quartz chest and quartz head. Amethyst, rose quartz and pink tourmaline arms. This one has a very gentle energy and softness to my senses.

What I believe about manifesting abundance and receiving from the universe is that it’s all already there. It’s all right there waiting for me to allow it in. I’ve always felt such a certainty about that. I’ve believed deeply and simply that I would have everything I ever wanted. And as life has gone on and I haven’t gotten it, I started to look at what could be holding it up.

I never once thought it was not there for me. I know that I’ve been blocking it somehow, some way. Is it my fear? my lack of grounding? am I not committed enough to this lifetime?

Having my daughter gave me a huge piece of being grounded and committed to life. Before that, saying YES to love was a huge piece. But still, I could feel myself clenched deep inside. So I continue to try and relax and trust and allow.
