I am pleased to say that I have paintings for sale locally at Monadnock Green Shop, located in Hillsboro, NH. Florence Steven, owner, has done a wonderful job of transforming an unused space into an eclectic shop filled with paintings, photographs, cards, art projects, natural soaps and detergents, deodorants, cloth towels to use instead of paper towels, and the list goes on. Walking into her shop is a treat for the senses. A wonderful reprieve from the daily activities of life. Florence is a gifted photographer and creative soul, as well. Her enthusiasm for offering products to help save our environment is catching on. My art expresses the beauty of nature and the country life here in NH. Red Cottage Summer Garden

This painting was painted outdoors (en plein air) in the garden on a bright summer day. Lillies, rudabeckia, pink phlox, and bee balm fill the garden with color. Size is 4" X 6". It's been raining here for at least a week. Everything is soft and misty. We are enjoying the beautiful colors outdoors and the smell of the wet earth. Watercolor size is 9 1/4" X 6 1/2".

Red Maple Leaf

This is a 4" X 6" acrylic on canvas archival panel. I was out walking and noticed the sun shining on this single red leaf. This one had fallen long before the others. Fall was in the air, as the days had a cool edge to the warm afternoons. Framed in a dark wood frame with "gold" painted raised leaves along front of frame. A lovely pairing. Apple Orchard in Spring Time

This orchard is 2 miles down the road from me. I paint watercolors in spring time there with the bug net on. Quite a challenge under any conditions! This painting is of the bee boxes in the orchard - a modern day necessity to insure fruit. When the wind blows and the petals fall, it is like being in a rain of white and pink petals. Heavenly! Radio Interview

I was interviewed today on WKXL radio regarding my art teaching through Concord Community Education. Doris Ballard interviewed me during her morning Coffee Chat program. It was a lot of fun to sit behind the microphone and tell all of her listeners about my background, past and present, and the teaching that I do. It was an experience that I would do again! Being on the radio in the sound proof room is fun! Hello to all out there!
