My blog has been a true reflection of me of late – all over the place. But with some major life changes a foot (which I am hoping to share with you all shortly) I am praying everything will be back to normal here on Roco! So here is a toast to 2012, hopefully it’s a good one!!!! And thanks to everyone for all you encouraging words. I am heading to Paris next week, hopefully returning truly inspired with loads of images to share.

Heart Home UK’s answer to RUE

Have you heard about this new online magazine Heart Home……..I was thrilled the other day when I came across this fabulous magazine which was just launched in September. An avid reader and lover of Rue, High Gloss and Lonny I am pretty much addicted to their slick and interesting content so my heart skipped a beat when I realised that here in the UK we finally have something similar and man does it look the part!!! A vibrant and interesting magazine that best of all champions the wonderful design found in the UK.

Need, Want, Adore

A new spot for RoCo will be a section called “Need, Want, Adore”, basically a short post on an object which has captured my attention for its beauty. So voila, I give you the bedside cabinet below; dark wood, drawers and a marble top - lovely…!!!!

Bedroom Perfection

My room of the week is this beautifully balanced bedroom, I love the way the dramatic dark wall is complemented with the light palette of the bed and covers. The flower throw pulls the room together, whilst adding interest and a feminine touch.

Anyone for more toast?

My new obsession is toast racks used to hold letters; I am in love with this chic idea and how beautifully organized and styled ones bill’s can look. I tend to gather piles of letters together in such an unsightly manner and when I have visitors they get thrown in the drawer and forgotten about. This idea is a great solution ~

Back Again!!

After been missing in action for more time than I am comfortable with, I am now back!!

I have been hit with terrible migraines AGAIN which meant that computer work just wasn’t going to happen. This stressed me out, which in turn meant further prolonged migraines. Erghh!!!

But I am back now and rearing to go. Missing my daily interaction with you guys it got me to thinking a lot about my blog and where do you draw the line when it comes to letting everyone into your world.

I have to admit I have been somewhat guarded with my own personal information and family when it comes to my blog. My blog is a way of exploring and inspiring people in design showcasing talent and beauty around us. Having said that some of my favorite blogs delve further into peoples lives and you start to feel that you know them quite personally when in fact you have never even met. So where do you draw the line?

So with this in mind I am hoping that I will be able to open up more and let you share in triumphs and disasters when it comes to me and my design.

I would love to hear your thoughts on what way you write your blogs or as a reader how much information on the author lives you like to hear?
