2nd fave place

Whats your fave place in London and/or New York?

MM: In London? Besides Rococo chocolates (which saved me my first homesick month when I lived there) Id have to say the courtyard at St. Jamess church in Piccadilly. Many days Id buy some incredible cheddar at Paxton & Whitfield, and pick up a caf au lait, walk over and just sit and pinch myself that I was living in London.
westside-Yummy Mummy Blog

My favourite chocolate shop in the entire world, Rococco's treats are simply delicious. My kids love the chocolate animals and the bags of jelly babies. I love everything and usually stand salivating at the counter begging for samples while I try to make my mind up the choice is vast and includes unusual flavours, such as chilli pepper, which play delightful games with the tastebuds. The gorgeous gift boxes also make great presents if you can bear to give them away.

This is one of the best, most characterful chocolate shops. A couple of particularly noteworthy items (though everything is amazing) & beautifully packaged chocolate bars with weird, fantastic flavors eg milk chocolate with salt, dark chocolate with cardamon, dark chocolate with chilli. They make a great unusual gift
- extraordinary floral fondants. Not just rose and violet creams, but lavender and geranium ones too.
Shop review

What can I say about Chantal Coady's Rococo. Firstly I love the fact that this still feels like a small business with an attitude that keeps innovating. The window display goes from serious art to summer fun - right now they have created an enormous chocolate beach scene! The staff are adorable and very keen to help. They will let you try any of the huge array of flavoured chocolate bars - they keep samples in a chest behind the counter. There is always something tempting out on display to try.
Choqua book review

Chantal Coady is a real crusader of chocolate: in the late 80s she launched the Campaign for Real Chocolate. She is also the owner of Rococo Chocolates, a specialty chocolate shop in London, and on top of that co-founded The Chocolate Society. Her mouthwatering book contains exquisite cacao recipes, she introduces also a little the background of chocolate, but eventually referred to The True History book.
Choqua
