As children of God the only thing that shows our change of heart is the way we live our lives. James 1:23 only those who believe and act upon His word will receive its benefits. Jesus said in John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Verse 8 of this chapter says that God is pleased when we bare much fruit. God wants us to prosper in every area of our lives, however our prosperity (spiritually, emotionally and physically) is a result of us hearing the word and living it Hebrews 4:12. Jesus calls the one who hears his sayings and does them a wise man who builds his house on a rock. Mathew 7:25 says that when the rain descends, the floods come and the winds begins to blow upon the house of such a man, his house will remain standing because it is founded upon the rock. Mathew 7:26 Jesus calls the Christian who hears the word of God and does not do what it says foolish. Such a Christian is likened to one who builds his house upon sand and the rain, the storm, the winds of life come and blows upon the house, and the house falls. The word of God will have a transforming effect in the life those who hear the word and accept we will bear much fruit because the word of God will prosper in the purpose that it was sent forth to accomplish Isaiah 55:10-11, Mark 4:20.

God has blessed me this past month in many ways. I heard a testimony from one of the interns in the youth department about their giving and how God had blessed them with over and above what they had thought or expected. I asked God what I should sow, but my mind was telling me not to sow because I needed to use the money I had to get just enough gas to finish the week. God told me to trust Him and sow what I had. I sowed the money and felt peace about the situation. The next day I was blessed with my entire gas tank being filled up! God knew my need and just wanted me to put my faith in Him and believe that He would meet all of my needs! The next day I got a call from someone to help them move some furniture and got paid to do it. In the matter of 5 days of sowing my seed, I got blessed with 800% increase! The next week while I was about to go soul winning; the car that we were taking needed some gas. I was able to put gas into the tank from the increase from my seed. It felt awesome to be able to bless someone else that needed gas after God had just blessed me with gas. I know that if I keep meeting other people’s needs and sowing into good ground that God will meet all of my needs.

Well for me I was not here for the first week I was still in Texas not knowing if I was coming here with my sister. With my situation at home I decided it was best I come. My brother blessed me and my sister with his car because my truck would have probably not made it. It took us a while to find a place to live but God blessed us with a great place that is not far and is only ten minutes away.

The week I was able to be here I was able to here you preach on giving and it really helped me in that area of my life. I realize that giving needs to be a daily thing whether it be items I’m attached or just love to other people. I never seen anything like that on Thursday where people started giving anything and everything that they had to break walls in their life and it really helped me see that money is only a temporary thing in life and it comes and goes and so many people depend on it but if they put their trust in the Lord and give like he tells us he will provide for all our needs according to his riches and glory in Christ Jesus.

My sister has told me great things about this school and from being here a week I already love it and can’t wait to see what God is going to do in my life. The atmosphere here is great every time I walk in the door, from the people that greet you to the people that say hello to you that I’ve never met. I am very happy that I have mentors with a Christian world view and a Christian perspective on life……Joey R.

I am a second year student this year and over the summer I had a big expectancy for returning to school and what God was going to do this year. I desired to get everything out of this year that I possibly could because I truly know that God is doing a huge work right now; not only with the Great Awakening but in my life as well. In the three and a half weeks that we have been back to school, God has done exceedingly over what I could have ever expected.  One day Pastor Allen was preaching on purity and on letting go of your past and the fire of God fell on me so strong. God burned the bridges of the things in my past that were holding me back.

It was amazing because I felt the anointing on me stronger than ever before and I felt a literal lifting of the bondages off of me. I had such a peace inside my spirit after that and I knew that the attachments that I had to the things of my past were completely gone. Aldo, when the spirit of giving broke out on Thursday during class, God required some things of me that were very dear to my heart and I really felt a break through because I was able to be obedient and give those things with a cheerful heart. I really had a breakthrough also in the area of not being attached to material things. I know that God is doing a huge work in my life right now, preparing me for what He has called me to do and for now, I am happy with receiving every impartation given from the teachers and the Holy Spirit this year and the years to come in school and in this ministry…..Nicole M.

We are additionally believing for jobs and a home with air conditioning.  However, it seems so insignificant considering how much so many Christians, and even fellow students, who seek to save souls in His name, sacrifice.   We have learned that fellow students have even been living out of their vehicles and with friends for the past three weeks until God opened up doors for them otherwise.  My family and I know that we have had breakthroughs spiritually, which are bringing us even closer as a family.  Being at RBI has been so revealing as to the amount of growth that needs to take place in our lives.

We have followed your ministry since 2004 when encountering a traveling evangelist while on vacation in Georgia.  He told us about this preacher in Tampa who had the “FIRE OF GOD.” Had I not listened to the Lord late that night in a hotel parking lot when He spoke to me to listen to what this evangelist had to say, I’m not so sure I would be here today.  I was not going to talk to this man because of the late hour, it being 11:30 at night.  I am thankful that I was obedient to the prompting of the Holy Spirit.

You are a precious man of God, Pastor Rodney.  Thank you for your love and obedience to our Lord and Savior.  I know there is going to be a whole lotta nation shak’n going on!

It has been quite a beautiful, yet wild, journey to be in the place that I stand now. Throughout the past 2 ½ years God has continued to show himself real in many areas of my life.  In the summer of 2009 I was in such a bound situation in the world.  I had completely forsaken the call on my life, and found in a place which I had handed over control of my everyday life to my surroundings. One morning I couldn’t sleep and I found myself face down on my closet floor crying out to Jesus. I prayed the sinners prayer that morning and asked that God would relieve me of my hurts, I said “Jesus take everything from me that is not of you”.

Shortly after that prayer my mom called to let me know that she needed to take a trip with one of my sisters that was having a rough time, and that they were headed to Florida. I wished them well and hung up the phone.  But something inside kept telling me that I needed to go. And somehow by that evening I went from crying on the floor in my closet in Austin Texas, to sitting on the front row of Pastor Rodney’s church service, which was at that time the last place I wanted to be.  As I was sitting through the meeting I was able to keep a straight face but on the inside there was an intense battle going on. I wanted so badly to get up and walk out, It was finally  started to hit me that I had found myself in the last place I thought I would ever be.

Then I managed to go to bed but even still I was laughing, my son immediately woke up and came to me and asks mum do you have joy? I said yes. He asked do you know you have been praying for this joy for so long ? I said yes. He got up took anointing oil pour it on my head and said Lord I pray this joy they you have given my mum will never leave her again in Jesus name. I finally went to sleep laughing and the next day I felt like hocking everybody and telling them how much I love them and how good the Lord is. It is only when I got to bible school that I understood what happen. The anointing is transferable. Remember i never touched my landlady she just looked at me and caught the joy. My whole life has never been the same since that day and it is what gave me the strength to go through my first year of RBI.

The RBI Revival for this year was also touching to me because the lord dealt with me internally. He took out so many things in my life and expanded me in my inside which I cannot explain all. I am so Thankful to Pastor Rodney and Adonica Haword Browne to have seen beyond the natural eyes of man and granted me a scholarship that has not only added a meaning to my life but has change my whole destiny for eternity…..Valentina A.

I am so grateful to be a witness for Jesus.  I was so stirred in my heart that I knew I had to help empower others to be a witness for Jesus too.  I realized that God has such a big plan and that I am only one piece of the picture.  These meetings have kept me from being ashamed of Jesus.  I have learned that a tool as simple as a phone call can make an eternal difference to the person that answers the other line.  Some people look down on phone ministry when it truly is a privilege. 

As I would pray with others on the phone I could feel the Lord ministering to me at the same time.   The bible is clear on the great commission as well as clear on being there for those that are in need.  When little children begin answering phones to pray with people you know that there has been a move of God.  We must allow God to use every member no matter how small, no matter how it appears in the physical.  There are those that might say God can’t use me because I use a wheel chair, or I have some physical restriction. 

If God used a jackass he can use me.  The leper that came back to thank Jesus for being healed was made whole.  If we are thankful for our salvation then winning people to Jesus in gratitude should be a given.  I am so excited to be a part of such a grand commission.  May God bless every single soul winner that confesses Jesus before men. -Bianca P

This week is Winter Camp Meeting 2011 here at the River at Tampa bay Church…and I have never been in better services in my entire life. Some people may say things like “wow, that was such a great meeting, the best I have ever been in” and they may have some true feelings behind such a statement; but, believe me when I tell you that out of the thousands of meetings and services I have been to these meeting shave been the most anointed, incredible, and powerful meetings I have EVER been in my entire life.

The testimonies of what God is doing in people’s hearts through soul winning and sitting under the anointing of God during the services bring me to tears almost every night. Last night especially sticks out to me. It was Thursday night. At the end of worship Pastor Rodney Howard-Browne began singing “Holy, Holy, Holy” and the presence of the Lord fell so strongly on the congregation as everyone lifted their voices to sing this song at least 7 times through!

What made this so powerful is that at one point the sound was the loudest and most uniform I have ever heard it in this building, it simply was the best worship ever…it sounded as if angels were leading us in worshiping the King of Kings, our Lord Jesus Christ! All I can say is that I wish all of my friends and family members could make it into these meetings, God is literally unlocking destinies, giving purpose, and showing direction to so many lives!  -Timothy T.

This last week has been so amazing. I got the chances to work in kid’s church and that just about blew me away. The fire of God was hitting the adults and the children it was amazing. I got the chances to do phones as well this week and it was amazing how God was touching the people on the phones. So many people were on the phones asking for the fire of God and to be baptized in the fire of God. It was amazing how people were calling in telling me how the fire of God was hitting them in there room in there house.

I had a guy that called in named Paul who was so hungry for God all he wanted to do was win souls and have the fire of God touch him. He started to pray in the Holy Ghost and the fire of God hit him. Then he started to talk about how he just wanted to win souls and go to a church that was on fire for God. Then I got to the chance to sit in services I was so ministered to. I felt the fire of God and it helped me with some things that I was asking God from. God is so amazing and he is touching so many people by this broadcast and I don’t think that we will be able to ever know how this is helping people until we get to heaven. –Charlie H.
