The reason I never reply to your emails is because my ISP (Gotalk.com) has cut our internet off for some reason. It's been down for 7 weeks now and there is no sign of it coming back on. We phone every day but it's impossible to get through to anyone who has the power to do anything - if you've seen the movie Brazil it's bureaucracy gone mad... I wrote them an email to vent my frustrations - please spread the word - DO NOT USE Gotalk.com as your Australian ISP!

Last night was another fantastically normal night in Manly. It started off with Honnahs (* note, names have been encrypted to avoid detection – these are NOT the real names of the people involved – so you can try Googling if you want) mate Lara coming round for a night out. We were celebrating 2 things – 1) Anniko stood up on her first wave (this girls tenacity is awesome – so firm!) 2) Lara finished her exams!

When you've lived in one of the most popular capitals in the world you become a hotel for travellers from "back home" passing through. At one stage we had peeps staying over every couple of weeks. Hence I decided to write a book called "Mein Anderken", which tightly translated means "My Memories" in German, the relevance which I cannot explain.
