A Night at the Moulin Rouge

During our stay in the French capital, Jizz, Cherryka and I were willing to try everything French.

We stayed in Paris for five days and tried to make it to every major landmark or activity favoured and sought after by international tourists.

After roaming through the narrow and crowded streets of Paris, making our way to the top of the Eiffel Tower, eating macaroons at La Durée, strolling on Les Champs Élysées, visiting the exclusive Fashion boutiques and the Canadian Embassy on Avenue de Montaigne, trying to find Edith Piaff's grave at the Père LaChaise cemetery and walking under the Arc de Triomphe, we wanted to try something a little naughtier.

Even though we had made our way to the über gay district called Le Marais the night before and had had the lustiness to delight our eyes with shirtless cuties in a strip club, it wasn't enough for us. In fact, the Parisian gayborhood got nothing on Montreal's, New York's or San Francisco's; it's pretty tiny, mundane and inaccessible.We needed something sassy yet salty. That's when Cherryka got the très bonne idée to book tickets the Moulin Rouge.

Being almost broke and on the verge of being harrassed by Mastercard, we decided to opt for the cheapest option which did not include anything else than the show itself.

That is how we managed to get in Montmartre on time for the show to be held. As we were the youngest and cheapest guests, they sat us on the second floor in a corner near a speaker where we had to toss and turn in order to see the whole show and follow the dancers through their routine!

All three of us were stunned by the French tatas being shown a few meters from our faces and brightened by kilowatts of artificial light. All the songs sung by the songstresses and dancers were downright cheesy and tacky but very catchy which resulted in us singing them for days after the show. Another amazing asset of the show: their cut, lean and toned male dancers who all look gay and ready to bust a nut with one another! A great show not to miss if you plan on spending a few days in the French capital and want to be entertained!

I have met a lot of cute guys in my life up until now, but this one's a catch.

As a contemporary and out gay man, I wish to have a lot of fun (huh-uh) during my 20s, to slow down during my 30s and be settled in my 40s. Everytime I encounter a new prospect who has boyfriend potential material, it reminds me that a relationship might be of interest of mine someday.

After meeting this overly handsome, educated, sexy, charming, exotic and hypnotizing Finnish dude, I must say I almost fell in love for a second! After sejourning in the lovely province of Alpes-Provence-Côte d'Azur in the South of France with a bunch of friends while visiting Merry who did a student exchange at IDHEC, I had the overwhelming pleasure to meet one of the hottest blondshells ever: a 25 y.o. Finnish dude. Blessed with a rugged masculinity, a tight booty, a baby face, an affection for all things British and refined, a muscular and toned body, Suomi Baby had all the necessary assets to make a gay man go bananas.

If I were just a tad more of a freak, I'd post a pic of him right here so all of you future readers can judge for yourselves how flawless this beast was but goddamnit you gotta believe me: he was a Nordic God. I have to recount to you every step that led to us meeting and me getting an erection and a heartache (lol).

My friend Merry had told me that all the friends she made in Nice were Scandinavians as she barely met any other Quebeccer. I didn't know anything about these friends and didn't know which country in Scandinavia they were from, which gender they were, how old they were or any other basic fact I should have known. Merry had talked about Suomi Baby a few times but claiming he was going out with her chubby friend (a girl) from Toronto.

I assumed he was straight and had a penchant for embedded girls. I later learned that despite them being rumored as "dating", their lips had never locked and they had never engaged into anything sexual. I saw him for the first time for a few seconds at Fatty Fat Fat's appartment late one night while Merry, Cherryka, Jizz and I were chatting, drinking and chilling. I immeditaly fell shy of becoming awkward and clumsy due to his magnetic presence and charm. I acted as if I couldn't care less but was actually extremely curious about him and thought he looked a bit gay (more than a bit actually).

The day after I tried my best to hide my interest and made an attempt at acquiring more info regarding that Scandinavian hunk through Merry. She informed me that he identified as bisexual, owned a company, was wealthy, a tad superficial but overall very very nice. All of these infos made me go nuts as I dreamed of having raunchy rooftop sex overlooking the Mediterranean Sea with him (LOL)! We met again for a second time but barely talked. The third time we met, I had the ultimate pleasure to sit next to him and asked him a billion questions about him.

If I am not mistaken, I felt as if he might have been slightly charmed by me as well as he would ask me stuff about my life, Quebec and other facts surrounding my "Chinese World Tour" as I like to call it. We discussed everything from Music to working out, Finland to Quebec, snus to alcohol, Nice to Merry and so on and so forth. I never dared to ask him anything regarding his sexuality or even coming close to the topic but overheard him talk about a past relationship of his which was with a man.

I was incredibly delighted by his presence and hoped something sexual (or a cheesy makeout session) would be the outcome of that night. All of us then went to a crowded nightclub in old Nice and that's when things got awkward. As a cold and frigid Finnish, he could not bust a move nor seem to enjoy himself in a nightclub. He then wanted to impress us by purchasing a Champagne bottle and share with us. I tried my best to act as if I weren't shy and didn't care that much about him but was actually trying to figure out any ways I could get into his pants. The night ended up boringly and abruptly when we all left the club and he simply told me: "have a good night and I hope we'll meet again".

As part of my new "macho-wannabe" philosophy, I responded by a nonchalant "we sure will, good night to you too". What was really disappointing is that we never saw each other again and I left for Barcelona two days later. Since then, I've been under his spell and thought about him! I added him on Facebook but we never wrote to each other. Nothing will never happen between us but I'll keep this encounter as a hell of a good traveling souvenir for years to cum! If I could, I would undeniably finish what I had started with that Finnish if you know wut I mean...

BTW: My friend Merry told me just recently that she thinks he might have been interested by me and that it could have worked out between us. Just too bad!

New Favourite Movie of Mine

For those of you who have been reading my blog since the very beginning, you know I'm a Quentin Tarantino fan.

That being said, I practically watched every movie of his since I first heard of Kill Bill back in 2004 when I was 14! I have been delighted by Pulp Fiction (1995), From Dusk Till Dawn (1996), Planet Terror (2007), Death Proof (2007), Inglorious Basterds (2009) but was utterly disappointed by Reservoir Dogs I must say. I wanted to watch Jackie Brown since a while and finally had the opportunity after joining NetFlixx just recently.

I was agreeably surprised by the acting skills displayed by Pam Grier, Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Keaton. Funnily enough, the whole plot concocted by Jackie Brown to steal muhla from Ordell (Jackson) seems way too complicated for nothing but makes for an entertaining and smart executed plan. Wise is the one who organizes such a tremendous, hidden gunfight to recuperate money she brought in from Mexico along with her dignity and freedom. Long live Jackie Brown! Enjoy y'all! Plus I need to point out the fact that the music from the motion picture is incredibly good and am in love with every Jazz joint.

Ohlala traveling has never been that exciting! Asia is tha shiz! I am so thrilled and ecstatic these days that the only songs I can listen to are tunes that'll have the clubs blastin' and the merrymakes even merrier.

This week I am offering you a back-in-'01 song from my friend Shaggy. That's it: Angel is our winner. This song reminds me of when I was 12 years and super innocent, jolly and didn't beg for anything else than the summer sun roasting my cheeks. That's also pre-acne, adolescence, libidough, WHOREmones, University stress, international travels, before I even spoke English and before I grew up to be over 6' haha! Although I have to say I am more a fan of their ad campaigns than their products themselves, I have to admit Calvin Klein carries good quality of underwear.

That's correct; Calvins have become incredibly famous back in the '90s thanks to their provocative ads featuring supermodels such as Tyson Beckford, Marcus Schenkenberg and Kate Moss for women.

This season, Calvin is back with a very intriguing product: low-rise, skin-tight, moulding briefs made out of a special microfiber and seaming technology that ensures placing, comfort, aesthetics as well as as thermo-regulator and an ego-booster per se!

Despite their gnarly high price, Calvins are back on track and they might be strong enough this time to convince me into purchasing them babies and staring at myself wearing them in the mirror... Who knows?!

This American model -unlike many others- has brains to support his beauty.

Indeed, Todd Sanfield (my new male model crush) is enrolled into a Ph.D in Pharmacy while trying to find time slots to book modelling jobs and run his business, Todd Sanfield Underwear.

What is impressive about him is that unlike his hot jocks counterparts, he invested into long-lasting ventures such as studies and business instead of solely relying on his good looks and smoking bod to pay off.

General Idea Fall 2012 Fashion Show

New York-based refined Men Clothing brand General Idea recently unleashed their latest Fashion Show at New York Fashion Week. Their Fall 2012 collection is very inspiring and soothing as during autumn Rodzilla wears nothing fancy nor recherché and is looking forward to comfort and coziness at home! You will notice by looking at this walking exhibit that the fabrics they used seem of quality but are yet unpolished and do not feature any flamboyantness. I like the dim colors and cutting-edge styling. It looks young and funky.

I'm a fan of Bob Marley and believe his music along with his philosophy of life, talent, religious beliefs, bed partners and culture ROCK. Reggae is my darling music and it's in my new outlook on life to just lay back, relax and listen to Reggae as soon as I get the blues instead of becoming depressed, sad and frustrated.

At the end of this live performance of Stir It Up, Bob talks about God and his spiritual beliefs. Despite him being seemingly high in the vid from the '70s, Bob is so inspiring and glowing from within. The Japanese subtitles might also be helpful for some of you... Myself excluded haha! ENJOY!

Lin Jun Legacy

One of the most disturbing news broadcasted from Montreal in the past month is definitely the tragic death of Lin Jun.

I have yet tried to read about it simply to understand what truly happened. I was incredibly shocked to learn that not only did Luka Magnotta kill a young student from my University (Concordia), that very victim was also an international student from China; Lin Jun was from Wuhan.

The first time I heard about that sordid story was a few days after I had landed in Beijing, China. The first info we got were that several limbs had been sent to Ottawa and to Canadian Prime Minister Steven Harper precisely. A foot had been sent to the Conservative Party of Canada and a hand to the Liberal Party. I thought it was a joke of bad taste and almost laughed when I learned the news. I was naïf enough to believe it was some kind of nurse or crazy doctor who had sent remains from a deceased patient (!).

But when Inspectors and Police services began investigating on the latter and identified the limbs to belong to Jin Lun and that his murder had been shot on camera and posted online, an international manhunt was demanded by Canadian authorities. It took very few weeks to keep trace of Magnotta who had flown to Europe in the mean time and was hiding in Berlin, Germany.

He was spotted in an internet café in Berlin while reading articles about himself online when he was arrested.

Since then, a lot of public personalities in Canada have voiced their condolences to Jun's family who flew all the way from China to Quebec to attend his funeral.

Magnotta -a former gay porn star and justice violator- has been arrested and pleaded non-guilty which will extend his lapse between time of murder and imprisonment. His murder is ironic and disgustingly evil as the main premise of it was simply to become notoriously famous. Not only was he a psychopath, he was also an attention whore it seems.

Lin Jun's torso has been found in a suitcase left in an alley next to an appartment building in the Snowdon area of Montreal but his head was found in Angrignon Park just a few hundred meters from my friend K's house!!!

This event is probably one of the saddest and most shameful ones to have ever occured in Montreal. It also gave the city and Canadian authorities a very bad reputation by making Chinese people question the level of safety provided in Canada.

I feel so saddened to know an innocent young man like Lin Jun escaped from his home-country to seek a new life of his own which involved earning a University diploma, getting professional work experience and perhaps finding love and ended up murdered by a lunatic and insane fuckhead. It is undeniably frustrating and hurtful to know that he was abused, mistreated, suffered and that his final reprieve was filmed and has been viewed online by sickening people hungry of blood and pain.

May Lin Jun rest in peace and his family be granted of all the negative media attention and lack of respect they have been victim of.

Perry Ellis Spring 2012 at New York Fashion Week

Having always been affectionate towards the Perry Ellis brand, I had to go see their latest runway hosted during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in the Big Apple. Since Mister Ellis himself was a gay veteran during his era, has made it big into the Fashion industry in the '70s and '80s but has unfortunately died of AIDS complications, Ellis is now considered an icon. I have immense respect for this brand which I consider a lot more refined and classier than its Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren counterparts.

The American exclusive line has presented its new temperate collection which features a lot of beige, coral red, cyan yellow, navy blue and brown. I like the outcome which is chic yet could easily be worn both in an office or on the street on a casual busy weekday. I also like the fact that the pieces appeal to both young men but also men in their '40s and '50s who still like to look good and take care of themselves. These clothes should be part of the whole grooming process :-P. Also notice the presence of one of the cutest munchkins ever: Sean O'Pry.

Malan Breton Runway at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week (NYC)

After taking the resolution to make this blog a tad more Fashion-oriented, I will cling to my vow and blog more often about current trends, designers that I favour, runways that inspired me, models that make me erect, photographers I admire and despicable Fashion characters who are undeniably present all across the Fashion sphere!

That being said, I am slowly building my Fashion education by reviewing editorials, Fashion spreads and runways online. Unlike other critics, I won't tell you what to wear, what not to wear and be bitchy and over-the-top about everything and nothing, but bring forward my opinion, likes and dislikes alike.

I had the chance to see Malan Breton's runway at a glance which I liked. Breton is a designer I did not know of before. He so happens to be a Taiwan native and to be operating all over Europe (France specifically) and the US. What's so cool about Breton is that being a native Mandarin speaker, I'm guessing he must be good at negotiating retail and manufacturing prices with wholesalers across Asia! Let's face it: China is the future! He presented his Fall 2012 collection just recently at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York City.

I have to say that I'm a fan of glittering fabrics, clean cuts, special yet sober cuts. I am not a big fan of long suits though but perhaps if I got the chance to try them on, the result might be surprising, who knows!

Damn y'all I found what could probably deemed the hottest editorial of all times and it features no one else but Mister Brian Shimansky, the incredibly sultry NJ native. Y'all know he's one of my faves lol! Plus Out Magazine is a celebrated American Gay Magazine known world-wide for the quality of its articles, editorials and authors.

Since I am nothing but a simple clerk as of now, I know what it is to feel under-valued and thus will also give additional credit to hair stylist Steven Hoepner, Fashion Editor Christopher Campbell and the photographer, David Roemer. Notice two of'em have Dutch names, which is probably why the shoot is so steamy!

Claudia Schiffer Celebrates Guess?'s 30th Anniversary

Guess what? The brand entitled Guess? by designer Paul Marciano is now 30 y.o.!

Back in 1989, Guess? released what has been their most iconic and memorable advertising campaign of all time featuring then-23 y.o. Deutsche Fotomodell Claudia Schiffer.

Well it seems like 23 years later, not only did Guess? survive as an emerging business in the Fashion industry but also that "La Schiffer" has preserved her famous looks which made her so darn popular in the '90s. I cannot believe that Claudia still looks pretty much the same 23 years later! She almost looks skinner now than back then! I ~~Guess?~~ guess some people were born with good ~~jeans~~ genes!

I just saw this new editorial for Out Magazine and love it!

It's entitled "The Passenger" and reveals a humble and delicate-looking Mathias Bergh who happens to be a pretty boy from Sweden! God knows I love'em!

It reminds me of my traveling in Scandinavia last summer and the summer before and makes me realize how privileged I am to be traveling the whole world while some people are stuck in their home-countries and might actually never get the chance to travel abroad, escape or wish for a better/different life.

I like the fact that Photographer Giampaolo Sgura was able to capture the essence of the classiness and composed presence Bergh provides us in these pictures! Enjoy!

While the only comments I have eavesdropped all referred to his sexy pictures and very-visible wrinkles, I'm truly curious about the quality of both the fabric and the design of the clothes themselves. I'm wondering how it feels to be wearing something Mr. Beckham to go to bed in.

As long as I think white underwear looks clean and neat, I also think are unrealistic when it comes to wearing it: don't people every think about the long-term effects of heavy sweat and rubbing on white fabric? Haven't you all experienced the very unpleasant smell and colours being added to the underwear after you've worn it or even outworn it a few times?

For all of the subtlely-inserted allusions I made in the above paragraph, I think white underwear is bad for your self-consciousness as through wearing it we might all begin to think we're sweaty bastards or even dirty boys if you know what I mean...! That's why I might consider buying Beckham's jockstraps and night gowns but only if I can find nice black, grey or navy blue ones!

I actually stopped by an H&M shop a few days ago and saw the section where they placed his new line and saw the prices which are reasonably-retailable and the packages. I'm still thinking about should I buy because I actually need it and it has the potential to be the best underwear ever or is it some kind of celebrity con where the perceived value is rigged and I'll end up feeling abused and restless?!

I don't think he's just a "soul whose intentions are good..."!!!

I attended the White Party a second time this year, three weeks ago.

As I had been overly delighted last year by the White Party, I must admit that I had high expectations for this year but I'm saddened to claim that they haven't been met.

I don't know to what that disappointment should be directly attributed but I think the fact that I needed to be at my tutoring at 9am after pAArtying all night greatly contributed to me feeling all over the place and not-into-the-mood that time.

I don't know what was in the air but it felt as if there has never been as many people present as last year and I also felt like more people were on heavy drugs as a lot of folks seemed far-fetched and outer-spaced! I myself tried speed in order to stay awake and active a tad longer but as I only took half a pill, it only seemed to have made me go berserk and paranoid at everybody approaching me or passing close to me.

I don't know if it's the color -white- that makes the White Party utterly cheesy and of seemingly bad taste but I felt like I was surrounded by no-class folks that were way too happy to pop unknown substances, walk around almost naked and barely know what kind of music, beat or DJ they're dancing to all night long.

This year the most famous DJs to be heard were: Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Steve Angello, Fedde Le Grand and Jochen Miller. The best DJs are usually Dutch and this year we've only had the chance to hear two of'em which added to my disappointment!

Okay I'll stop complaining and give you the hightlight of the night instead of the dark ones: security seemed a lot more efficient this year, restrooms were less packed and cleaner, the dancefloor wasn't as sticky and nasty as last year, there was more hot jocks than last year, people were less dressed than last year and I got to dance the night away with Jizz one more time!

That being said, I'm really not convinced about me purchasing a ticket to attend the White Party next year as the price seems to double every year while my income barely stays constant! Bad economic situation or bad cash management? I dunno!

This week's winner is Inna Modja's latest hit I Am Smiling! The young Malian singer seems to be releasing hit after hit since her last summer's French Cancan which became a huge sensation in France!

I love this new song of hers because it's kind of jazzy, accoustic and yet catchy! I love the fact that Miss Modja masters both French and English just like Rodzilla. She also sounds very optimistic and festive in this new song. I actually like singing about me smiling as I just can wait until I'm done with exams and away in Europe, Asia and the West Coast! The weather here has been really weird this last month and it's currently very grey, cold and rainy!

I think Inna Modja might relevantly revolutionize love with her last album Love Revolution which is all about kind words, sweet melodies, honey and sugar. I love Inna's breathy, sultry and low-pitched voice. Enjoy!

I really need to leave this out in the open so that everybody else who's been through something that weird and incomprehensible can relate.

Okay so two weeks ago, I was surfing the web and gathering info about the latest trends in gay social medias and life in general. I was also looking for events to be held in the cities I will visit in the up and coming next two months. That's how I got to know about the Gay Circuit of Barcelona and got to see that it was sponsored by a new gay dating site called Gaydar.net.

Despite what some of you may think, I'm not writing this down to criticize gaydar, nor say that it's the best dating engine I've ever used but mainly to retell you about my latest date gone weird.

So after taking a brief look at the gaydar.net website, I felt like it was pretty darn awesome and user-friendly and I felt like joinning right away -which I did. I built up my profile hoping it was attractive enough to bring me as many potential dates and handsome studs as possible.

I thought it looked pretty great and that my chances were fairly higher than before at aiming my goal of finding the perfect combination of cuteness, sexiness and compatibility ever possible between two men.

After only one day, a few guys had already written to me and thus made my day since I desperately needed something new in my life and by that I mean some pizzazz. A few good-looking men wrote to me and I was taken aback by how easy it seemed to be dating on this website. Perhaps that website increased our gaydars or actually acted as a radar to spot the most edible men in our nearby area.

While I checked out the list of online members, my attention was brought to a young Lebanese man's profile (I know, again!)! I instantly fell for his picture and profile and thought to myself how hot he looked. I secretly wished to get a date with a guy like that but didn't go on to write to him.

Later that day I received an inbox by no one else but that same hot Lebanese guy. Glad was I to notice his interest in me which was darn reciprocal!

Anyways, to make a long story short, we shitchatted a few days in a row, talking about who we were, what we did for a living, what kind of lifestyle we had, as well as hobbies, ambitions and things we liked in a guy. For one of the first times ever, I thought we might really get along well and couldn't wait for us to meet. I proposed him to meet me on a date during the upcoming weekend and he strangely replied: "a hookup is easy to get, no?!" I couldn't help but find that really weird and asked what he meant and he said he wanted something serious and not to simply hook up with me.

I don't know what went wrong but that friday night he insisted on meeting me at midnight! I couldn't believe it! That hot guy who wanted to take things slow and vouched for something serious was inviting me over at midnight! That sounded like a hell of a booty call to me! Of course, being horny and titillate by him, I didn't even hesitate for a second and googled his adress and hopped there in a New York minute!

Not only was this stud supposedly looking for something serious and not wanting to hookup but had still invited me over at midnight, the first thing I noticed when he opened the door was that he was in fact greeting me clad with solely his undies on! He was staring at me like he couldn't wait until our lips locked and he could devour that trout pout of mine.

It wasn't long till I got down to my undies as well and was making out intensely and intensively with that hunky-dory Lebanese baklava! He seemed to be unbelievably crazy about me; the way his eyes gazed into mine and how he kissed me and talked about my body and everything. For a minute there, I truly thought we might become an item in the future despite him knowing I'd be outta town for thow months straight. We remained interleaved onto one another for four hours in a row until I realized it was 4 o'clock in the morning and my bed was making a long-distance call for me to hurry the hell back home and get some rest.

I waved him goodbye and left. I was sure it was a sureshot and I'd finally get a successful shot at love just like Tila Tequila. The following day, I was both merry and nervous about how things would turn out between us. I kept wondering if he shared the same level of joy than me about our night of sweet talk. I logged on my Facebook in order to chat with him later that evening. I said hi and immediately told him I had had a blast with him and hoped it was reciprocal.

Now guess what the bastard replied?!!! He said: "yes I had a good time too.... But I need to tell you we're incompatible Rodzilla... we're sexually incompatible, as much as I wanted to be and tried to be with you, we're not"!!!!

Damn can you believe such a hot-blooded lover could turn into a cold-blooded respondent? I couldn't believe my eyes when I read his message and thought he must've felt some kind of shame or discontentment after our inflamed night together.

I wouldn't take such bullshit and I wouldn't remain speechless even if I faced such a ridiculous situation and I told him that I thought he was full of shit and couldn't pull his shit together in order to be a man about the situation. How could someone who was so crazy about you tell you that you are incompatible the day after?! I don't get it. I guess he actually wanted a hookup and was so full of shit he'd rather lie about it and pretend he wanted a relationship instead! Or maybe he wants to think of himself as being that nice guy who has principles and thorough values!

Wutevah, Rodzilla is fed up and leaving hella soon! Fuck'em baklavas, I'm done with'em! Trust me, they all have small penises and will treat you like shit, beware of them! Keep away from them!
