This popular event provides plenty of fun for the whole family including candle dipping, jump rope making, puppet plays, a special magical market for the children only and, new this year, learn to knit in 15 minutes!. For the grown-ups there is a fabulous array of organic, natural and handcrafted gift items - many of which you will not find anywhere else - as well as free musical performances throughout the day. Add fabulous food, live holiday greenery and the raffle ticket included in the $5 adult admission price (students and children are free!) to round out a day of festivities guaranteed to get you into the spirit of the season. This is sure to be a favorite holiday event for you and your family

CTA Red Line Vision Planning Meeting - TONIGHT

Join 49th Ward Aldernan Joe Moore for one of a series of "Vision Planning Open Houses" that the CTA will be hosting on the north side regarding improvements to the Red Line. The open house for those who use the Howard, Jarvis, Morse and Loyola stations will take place Monday, November 30th, 6:00-8:30 p.m. at the Loyola Park Fieldhouse, 1230 W. Greenleaf (at the Lake), 2nd floor.

At this open house, you will be able to let CTA officials know about any concerns you may have with the Red Line and provide feedback and ideas for the renovation of the stations and tracks along the Red Line. This is a terrific opportunity for our community to stress the importance of renovation to the Red Line, especially the Morse, Jarvis and Loyola stations.

If you cannot attend Monday night's open house, but would like to share your thoughts with the CTA, please send an e-mail to NorthRedPurple@transitchicago.com. Ald.
