We played black jack over the new year holiday. Something really interesting occurred, maybe my brother's luck was really bad, he was the banker and out of 6 players, 4 of us got Black Jack!

Have been wanting to get the happy call pan for 3 months and finally I decided to buy one and got mine last week. The seller gives us a free egg mould - it was in the shape of an Xmas tree.

Swimming lesson

We signed up Aeon for a swimming lesson (finally)! It is at aquabambinos at the burgley lifestyle centre near our house.
This is an indoor swimming pool . It is a heated pool and it is 1.2 metres deep. Aeon had his trial lesson today.
We are kinda lucky today because Aeon enjoyed a 1 to 1 trial today (2 other kids couldn't make it).
It will be a group lesson (4 kids per class).
We hope to let the twins learn swimming if the teaching is good.

Where everything went wrong

Within a week, the electrical wire in the bathroom burnt out.
After we fixed this, the water pipe in the garden burst and spent 2 months of the twins' milk powder for it.
What is next?
House going on strike.
Everything is related to water.
We are cursed!

Just went to the DBS to open a joint account with my helper . The new baby carrier is so good , we carried one each - so much better than using the sarong sling. No more shoulder aches :)

Rat affair

The rats are back again!
There is an increase in rat sightings ever the constructions started (opposite our house).
We decided to take action after we saw different rats (different sizes) at home every night.
I was scared by the baby rat weeks ago in my toilet one night (it was just right beside me in the toilet), I was so shocked I screamed and the moment I opened the door, it escaped!
The next day, we sighted another one - this one was much bigger than the 'baby' one I saw.
On Monday, one of them bite off a packet of our food !
On Tuesday, Roland saw an even bigger one, much bigger than the first and second!
So yesterday, we decided to put a mouse trap (Glue type).
We put honey stars, ikan bilis but did not manage to lure the rats out.
Thus I put bits of chocolate chip cookies and within 10 minutes, we caught one!
It shrieked loudly and was struggling really hard.

This is the medium one, much bigger than my palm!
We (Roland actually) threw it into a plastic bag and threw away.

Sorry rats, we cannot afford to keep you in our house - you may contaminate our food (I can still forgive you) but I cannot allow you to harm my little boys.
* 南无阿弥托佛 x3 *chanting for you, please rest in peace, please tell your friends and families to move away to prevent more reunion.

We feel really bad to do this to you :(

Iphone accessories - now then I know

Received 2 Christmas presents last year and did not know what they are until today when I saw this photo from Deals!
Lol! I have stayed at home for too long !

So the sparkling diamond is actually a iPhone dust cap!

And the 2 rubber pieces is actually iPhone Horn.

Aeon asked me how to play with this when he saw the present, I told him I don't know and was trying to figure out. (Of coz feel too embarrassed to ask the senders)

Thank you for the presents - you know who you are! I will put it to good use now.

ChuanLe Ashe's back view - he is small but fatty too! He is fairer and has less birthmarks on his butt.

This is ChuanXi Axel's back view - he is redder in person, lots of birthmarks on him. Old wives' myth - they said that baby has lots of marks because the goddess of labour is pushing him out.
However as you see, our Axel is a c-section baby, he also has so many marks.

The croc plaster ? His BCG isn't healing well enough, so we decide to cover it. Ashe's already healed nicely.

Ashe is 5.7 kg

Home alone with 2 bunnies

We do not know why.
Axel was sleeping with me yesterday, he is a good boy, sleeping really well.

Ashe - he was awake from 2.30 a.m. till 7 a.m. today.
I took him from our helper, by then Ashe was probably too tired and he fell asleep.
He was sleeping the whole afternoon.
He is now resting on Axel.

The patient look on Axel, he doesn't mind KorKor resting on his shoulder, look so macho :)
They will be really good 'friends' next time.
Both of them cried together around 5 pm when helper went to fetch Aeon.
I carried Ashe and once he settled down, I put him down and carried the crying Axel.
Then Ashe cried again, put Axel down and carried Ashe again.
I have been doing these over and over again and decided to put both of them on my bed and went to the kitchen to make 2 bottles of milk.
Feed them for a while and decided to use a pillow to place on both of them so that I can rest the bottles on it (My arm is aching from all the carrying).
Then I went to the living room to rest, hehehe. (What a lazy mum?)
When I went in, Ashe was asleep, Axel was falling asleep too!
Not easy to juggle with 2 cute babies alone.

Being a SAHM (Stay at home mother) now, I spent most of my times surfing the Internet whenever I am free (Since I have limited mobility now, cannot go out unless I bring the twins along with helper).

His hourly rate as a Superstar for his performance is $300/10 minutes. This Christmas, his hater engaged him to perform in Sentosa and 'attacked' him with a party popper rocket (in a near range of 2 metres). The impact left him badly injured (nearly blind I guess).

I chanced upon her site while shopping in GMarket, saw Rene leaving a review saying that she will do a tutorial on the product. Love her blog header - so Anna Sui style.

Rene is a pretty Indonesia Chinese staying in Singapore. I think she should be quite or really famous since she is frequently being sponsored to endorse products (me from a mountain tortoise point of view - Bloggers are really famous (blog-marketing)). Poor Aeon, guess he had lost some weight.
The spots did not increase however these 4 ulcers in his mouth is enough to spoil his appetite .
The ulcers broke - can you imagine the pain?
Even the softest solid food is enough to cause him pain.
He woke up in the middle of the night crying in pain.
He doesn't dare to speak, just mumbled with his mouth close.

Thus he is only drinking his milk when he is hungry.
Hate this irritating HFMD!
We never heard or had HFMD when we were young right...

Post natal review

Went for my postnatal review on Monday.
My womb has already shrink back to its original size. I still have a protruding belly though, that layer of skin that has stretched to home the twins, I do not think I can lose this soon).
The staff commented I slimmed down very fast. (Happy to hear that, I have lost 17 kg so far, still have 2 kg plus of weight from per-pregnancy, however I still have 15 kgs to lose from first pregnancy)
Took pap smear, Hep B booster (because my defense is getting lower), Cervical Cancer injection (Cervarix).

On the same day, I received a letter from Cordlife (I stored their cord blood) saying that they have found Hep B virus in me but I have already recovered. On the next page asking me if I wanted to discard the twins' cord blood! I was so worried and called them asap, then they explained it is just a normal procedure, there was actually a second page asking for my approval to store the cord blood. I over-reacted too fast and did not flip to read more. I supposed those virus is actually the Hep B immunization that I took 10 years ago.

Dong zhi

So happy to get to eat homemade dumplings from my mum! My mum always tell me she ate alot of dumplings when she was carrying me, this is why I was born with a flat nose and I love dumplings.

Dong Zhi signifies togetherness and everyone should stay home and dine together (团圆）. (hope I got the word correct)

Papa on newspapers!

Yeah, Roland and his team's efforts paid off, they were featured in Today's newspapers page 10 today!
They came up with Dark Dot game (free on Ipad) and this game has been well received in Singapore and a number of countries. The game has been downloaded by over 448k gamers worldwide, do Singaporeans proud since this is the first time in Singapore :)
We are so proud of Roland and his team!

Ashe and Axel are two months old today!

Fast..... they are two months old today!
They are growing well.
I am still waiting to see their first smile (the smile that they respond when I play with them, not the dreaming mode smile).
My maternity leave ending in mid February 2012.

Axel = 6 kg
Ashe= 5.5kg

Hand foot mouth disease

Aeon caught the HFMD yesterday, Oh no.......it is for the second time!
There's 4 blisters in the back of his mouth. He doesn't have any fever.
Doctor said this may be a mild case.
The twins still at home with us because after considering many factors, we decided to stay at home.
Doctor said Hand Foot Mouth is not airborne, just need to be careful not to touch body fluids etc., saliva
So we forbid Aeon from kissing everyone since yesterday.
However, Aeon kissed all of us goodbye when he left for school yesterday.
