Well, another year, another blog post. Time flies, doesn’t it?

Nate and I will both be attending Kublacon 2009 this year, as we have done for the past few years. We always have a great time and we’ve been looking forward to it, and some gamer friends of ours are even flying in from out of town this year. As usual, I’ll be taking pictures and uploading them on the fly to the Roll 2d6 Flickr account, so subscribe to the RSS feed and it’ll be just like being there! Except that you can eat corn dogs in the comfort of your own home without having to pay $6 for them in the hotel lobby.

As a bonus, I also found my pictures from Kublacon 2005 and arranged those into another set on Flickr, so if you want to see what gaming was like back in those days, check it out.

Nate and I fully intend to have another post-Kublacon podcast episode, so look forward to that — and here’s hoping we can get it going again.

Thanks to all who are still reading this and staying subscribed.

In this episode, we get all excited about the upcoming KublaCon game convention (May 26-29). We remember games we ran at previous conventions, talk about why it is we enjoy playing games at conventions, and discuss what games we’re going to play at this year’s convention.

Adam will be live-posting pictures to the Roll 2d6 Flickr RSS feed as he plays each game and has fun at the con, so subscribe to it and you’ll see what he sees as he sees it!

Pics from Adam’s Car Wars event at KublaCon 2004
Adam’s pics from KublaCon 2005. Look for the giant Pirate’s Cove board.
Games we ran at KC2004: Car Wars 5th Edition, Star Trek: Starship Tactical Combat Simulator, Strange Synergy, Chez Greek
One of our favorite con games: Thunderin’ Guns

Sometime after the convention, look for our post-con show where we’ll talk about all the games we managed to play.
