I know I said I had nothing interesting to tell you few days ago but I was wrong.
Today I had one of the most delicious days ever. I went, finally, to visit the house&studio of my favourite painter. Gustave Moreau. A french symbolist painter who lived during the 19th century.
If you are in Paris, you should absolutely go and visit this amazing place. It felt like a dream to me, and I got so emotional and almost cried surrounded by such beauties.

I highly highly suggest you discover his work. He is probably one of the best painters ever.

And we also had some delicous food with my friends. Yeah always chinese&korean. But it was so good you have no idea. And Paris is still the most beautiful city in my heart. Walking in this city is always a pleasure.

I've been studying a lot lately. Every day about 40kanjis to study, grammar rules to remember and exercises+vocabulary. I'm trying my best, because I really don't want to fail this time.

Therefore, I don't have interesting things to post here, sorry guys !

I thought I would show you some little pictures of my everyday life. I don't think it's really enjoyable but oh well.

I used to hate eating breakfasts, but now ... I love it. It's almost my favourite meal. And as you can see... it's quite big.

Then this is what my days look like. Japanese japanese&japanese. Plus tea&this chocolate panda. looks cute, but tastes horrible.

And you may know that I'm on a diet, in which I completely cut carbs&fat. Therfore most of my meals look like this. Veggies :D

Wow. Reading this blog may give the illusion that I actually do have a life and go out times to times.
But yeah. This is only an illusion.
This saturday I woke up quite late, almost noon. I have been feeling a bit sick lately, I guess I caught a cold or something. Trying to fight the cold with short skirts this is what you get I guess.
My roommate and I went to visit the Opera, thing that I had been wanting to do FOR AGES. And I wasn't disappointed in the least. This was gorgeous. Pictures don't even pay it justice, so if you are in Paris this is a place you should absolutely go and see. Absolutely gorgeous and very dreamlike.
I actually love operas, but really don't know a lot about it. I need to correct this.

While my friend was in Paris with me, we went to the museum of modern arts, thing that I probably would have never done, since this is really not the kind of art I like.
However, it turned out to be pretty interesting and eventhough it didn't change my views on art, I found some really interesting pieces there. I am a pretty oldschool person, very oldschool, as for litterature, painting, poetry or even music but it's nice to see things you're not used to seeing right?

I fell in love with this painting. I don't know what is so attractive to me but I really loved it.

I look like a fat potatoe but it was so cold this day.

& obviously I had to include her in this post. This is what you could see from the museum.

What a chance it is, to find 1hour away from home, the castle of Versailles.

Living in Paris is such a pleasure, everyday is an opportunity to find beauty and discover something magical.

Versailles is a magnificient place. I had already visited the gardens, but never the castle itself, so I was quite excited to visit it today.

Staring at these amazing paintings, decorations, sculptures kind of made me feel nostalgic of that time when art was so breath taking. I was so amazed by the attention to the small details, that made every piece of art so realistic and impressive. I miss this hardwork, this adoration for beauty and how artists were able to produce such amazing works. Too many things today are too easy, too simple, too empty. I wish there were more artists willing to pay a tribute to life, love, beauty just like they did at that time.

Just like the title states it, today was the first day with snow in Paris. I woke up this morning around 10, incredibly determined to spend my day in bed, doing nothing but studying my japanese when my roommate entered my room with a bright smile on his face. - Emy its all white outside, let's go out for a walk!

I am always in a good mood when I wake up, therefore I jumped out off my bed, had a quick shower and we were out, in a beautiful big park next to our flat.

It was all white outside yes, but not for long though. We made our way accross a frozen lake, which is silly&dangerous I know.

This was a lovely sunday morning, the ones that make you like winter a bit more. Unfortunately the snow is already gone, and tomorrow I'll be back to college, with this awful cold. Tomorrow, I'll like winter a bit less.

So it was my birthday.

I wish I had something to talk about. Well I do, I have plenty of things I'd like to talk about but I feel like a video would be more appropriate when it comes to these subjects.
Then maybe I'll just let my fingers run on the keyboard and see what it turns out like.
So it was my birthday on the 28th of January. I didn't properly celebrate it, I haven't celebrating my birthdays since I turned 16. To be completely honest with you, the previous two weeks I felt extremely tense, anxious and depressed, to see the dates on the calendar not taking account of my desire to remain 19 forever.
I didn't think I'd actually be that depressed about my birthday, but I am. Completely. And now, to think that next year I'll turn 21 is... almost causing me physical pain. I cannot even really explain why I feel this way though. Is it because of death? probably. Also because of all the youth I feel that is running away, and to know that I have to accomplish some things before I turn 30. 30. Oh my god, this sounds awful.
However, I feel kind of relieved now, because it is behind me. I guess I'll panic again in.. september.
Here in Paris it's getting really cold, and we'll maybe have snow soon which is so exciting. I don't usually like snow, but for some reasons I really want to see it this year. Be ready for the pictures of a snowy Paris if this happens.
So far, 2012 has been nice. Well, friends haven't been the best and I feel like January was a wasted month but hopefully I'll get back on the tracks in February. The positive point is that I lost weight, am motivated and find it incredibly easy to eat healthy, to work out and be patient. I'm also more organised, I study my japanese more, but I don't read enough. Sadly. I also have to stop missing classes. I've already missed 3days of school in two weeks. Badbadbad. I think I'm not doing too bad with Youtube either right?
Hopefully, in a two weeks, the 20th I'll be in Roma. Ah Roma. And hopefully I'll be able to go either to Praha or Sevilla the 25. I miss travelling so much, I miss concerts so much too.
I'm looking for great movies to watch, any recommendations ? :)

This week end was absolutely sunny here in Paris, and I had free time for the first time in... well quite a few months. I also try to loose weight, and today since I had pasta, I decided to go for a walk. I walked about 6kms, which is quite satisfying.
I love Paris so much, it's not even worth trying to explain how much and why. But these times I spend on my own, walking in the streets, are priceless. You can feel past,present and futur all at once in the air, and everywhere you lay your eyes on, you find beauty.
Paris is the most beautiful city in the world to me, and will always be my precious one. The place where I started to decide what I wanted for my life, where I started to embrace joy, happiness, and who I really am.
I don't know if I ever mentionned it on here, but I strongly believe that God has a mission planned for each of us, and I can feel more than ever, that my duty is to be only smiles & kindness.
I took some pictures, thinking that you'd like to see what it looks like to take a walk in Paris.

Random post of the week end.
My first week of tests in uni is over. Still one left to go, but all in all, it wasn't that bad. I almost am sure of my decision to stop korean, so that I can focus on my japanese studies. It's a little bit upsetting, because I really like tne korean language, but nothing prevents me from learning it on my own, now that I have the basics.
I really need more time to study&work my japanese. Really.
My friends got me my christmas/unbirthday present which is so cool&lovely. A polaroïd :D

I have nothing really interesting to tell you, since I have been spending most of my time sleeping&studying.
But I recently purchased some jewelry on ebay, and I thought I could show you what I got.:)

It's only a few, and each piece cost me around 3 or 5$.
And yesterday I also ordered some clothes on Gmarket. It had been almost one year since I last made a real order, and I must say it felt quite weird to spend that much money for clothes. But oh well. Unfortunately we cannot run around naked right?

Christmas is just around the corner, one night away. Surprizingly enough, it seems that this year Christmas won't be as depressing as it was past years. Maybe because it really doesn't feel like Christmas.
My mother hasn't made anything, we have no tree, no decoration& no Christmas dinner. Instead we are going to eat at a chinese restaurant. I'll have no gift, only money to help me funding all my 2012 travels.
My dad has decorated his house though, however the sun is shinning bright and too cool for Christmas time.

To think of it, my life has been like this for more or less 2years now. If something is not giving you joy, just throw it away. Life's too short to burden oneself with anything. Therefore, as long as I won't be able to celebrate Christmas like I want to, I'd rather not celebrate it at all.

I don't know if this is because of my biological clock or not, but I don't feel like I can truly celebrate Christmas without my own 'family'. Christmas just reminds me how lonely I am, and if it wasn't for my friends, it'd be absolutely depressing.
The last year has given my a lot of joy and happinness. I don't know how to put this quite decently, but Love may be the key of everything after all. Loving someone makes you aware of so many things, it's actually scary. How time flies by, how precious are very small things, how worried you can be at the smallest problem..
I'm not expecting anything for my Christmas really, because all of my wishes are for someone else to have a wonderful time.
If I had to sum up 2011, I'd say it was about Love, Joy, Fate& Gratefulness.
How incredible is it to think someone taught me all of these? Somehow I feel complete now, and it's such a relief. What's funny is that most people, if they knew about my situation would feel sorry for me I guess, or at least wish for it to never happen to them. Even my friends are kind of worried for me.
But I feel happy. True love is not about being loved back, or even acknowledged. It's a plus, yes. It's then magical. However, when you love someone with all your heart this love is already a chance, and it's wonderful.
So thank you for being alive, for being who you are and giving my a chance to feel all that I've been feeling for more than a year now. Thank you for being such an inspiration, a great man and helping me through everyday.

For the first time in a very long time, maybe for the first time ever, I don't have any regrets or however little.
It must be because I allowed the real me to do whatever I wanted to.
And this is all I wish for everyone. Just let everything shine, without fear or shame.

You guys have been an incredible light in my life, wonderful friends and I don't think I can thank you enough. YouTube is and will always be such a beautiful thing to me. How complete strangers can take time to watch videos, be kind enough to post comments and always be here to help or comfort another stranger is amazing. You certainly are one of the reasons for me feeling complete, and for that, thank you a billion times. I am sorry that I didn't post many videos in 2011, and I promise I'll do my best in 2012. Maybe next year, we'll be 10 000 !

I wish I could hug every single one of you. Thank you for sticking by me and I'll see you in 2012.

No winter this december.

Some of you asked me where I was last week end, when I had no internet connection.
I was in the country side, far away(not that much) from Paris, visiting my aunt&uncle's place.
I love going there, and I love it more&more the more I grow up. I'm definitely thinking of being burried there.
Since I was born, every summer at least, we would go there, and this is probably the place with most memories for me. I love the countryside, I've always loved nature and I realize now, how lucky I was as a kid to have this. The long walks in the forest, helping my aunt in the garden, riding the tractor with my uncle, feeding the cows,sheep and playing with rabbits, hens and guinea pigs. I love farms and being around animals, I like the fact that I'm not a citygirl, who is afraid of a spade or to milk a cow. No fox, deer, wild boar or hare due to the winter and early night but I really enjoyed this short time far away from everything.

But I'm always happy to go back to Paris, my little home. We went, with my roommate to see a bit the city and the lights&decorations for Christmas. Paris is definitely beautiful anytime of the Year.

It will never fade.

I love autumn so much. Lately I've been waiting for summer every year with lots of impatience&exitement, but it feels just good now to be back in autumn, with beautiful leaves, the cold yet sweet blue sky and the early night that makes you feel so comfy& at peace in your bed. I just love walking in parks, or wandering in Paris, even if this time of the year reminisces many memories. But memories are things to cherish even if they can be painful times to times. It's already been 4months, since I travelled through Europe following YFC&Gackt. There isn't a single day I don't have a wave of memories coming back to me. I'm so grateful for them doing music and sharing it, I'm grateful for the memories I have and this experience I lived.
You know sometimes you feel pain, and you just think it's so unfair that you feel this way. I'm not guru, but I sincerely believe that there's a simple way of turning everything around so that it's joy and not pain anymore. Just like unrequited love. Don't be sad for this person not loving you, but feel grateful for her/he giving you the chance to feel love. And let this love grow up, it will bloom and glow through you, with the most beautiful light.

Lady's Fingers.

Hi everyone ~

I had a malaysian friend whose mother always cooked delicious dishes, and she once introduced me to this vegetable : okras, gombos, lady's fingers, you name it.
I cannot unfortunately remember exactly how she cooked them, but I found some of these at a japanase supermarket (スーパー) and couldn't resist to try to cook them.
This recipe is kind of indian inspired, whereas the one I had the first time was more african if I remember well.

However, this was so easy to do( I was a bit afraid because okras can have a bit of a weird consistency but fortunately not this time) and absolutely delicious. So good I ate it all at once( luckily it's only vegetables so it's not too bad for the "diet").

For this you'll need :

- 1/4 of red& yellow peper.

- garlic& an half onion

- okras

- salt/black peper/ chili/ curry.

I often get messages about religion, many asking me what is mine or if I believe in God.
I don't mean to ram my views on that into anyone's throat, and have never intended to. I have always thought this was one of the most silly things to do. But I thought since lots of people seem to be interested in this subjet, and I guess my views on that are not the typical ones, it may be interesting to share it with you.
I was raised by atheist parents, and I remember being given pretty young a ' little book of religions', I guess in order to educate myself with the main religions. I wasn't baptised, and even if my parents were atheists as I said, I was sent to a private and catholic middle school. As surprising as it may seem to lots of you, I have only good memories of this school. On every tuesday we would have a sort of small mass in the school's chapel during which we would sing, pray and think about love, charity, poverty, acceptance and so on. We also had once a week a class, to study the bible and discuss whatever we'd want to.
So even if I'm not a christian, I guess we could say I have a christian background, somehow.
I know that many people are completely anti religious, always&only critisizing religions, blaming them for ... well almost all the woes and ills of the world.
I absolutely disagree with that. Religions are good, humans are too stupid to understand them. I don't think the Pope is anyone special to be listened to, nor do I think that you have to be baptised, or to wear a veil or a kippa. I don't believe in dogma or rituals. I believe in what I think is the real aim and message of God, that is to say Love&Respect Life. Life with a big L, not only humans, but animals, plants, the environment. Love every form of life and try to be as good as you can everyday.

Now for what I believe in. Something like 4years ago, I fell upon a book entitled The Spirits' Book.
This book was written by Allan Kardec, a french teacher, during the 19th Century.
This books belongs to the five books of the Spiritist Codification, which reported the conversation between mediums and spirits. I'm not here trying to debate either this is possible, true or whatever, but I just want to say that many people such as Conan Doyle, Victor Hugo, Alexandre Dumas or Theophile Gautier and many scientists.
The basics of this movment are a belief into existence of spirits and into the possibility of communication between them and mediums. Here I quote wikipédia : "Spiritism teaches reincarnation or rebirth into human life after death.According to the Spiritist doctrine, reincarnation explains the moral and intellectual differences among men. It also provides the path to man's moral and intellectual perfection by amending for his mistakes and increasing his knowledge in successive lives."
& "Spiritism is not a religious sect but a philosophy or a way of life by which its followers live by. Its followers have no priests or ministers and do not follow any religious rituals in their meetings. They also do not call their places of meetings as churches, and instead call them by various names such as centers, society or association. Their activities consist mainly of studying the Spiritist doctrine, applying spiritual healing to the sick and organizing charitable missions."

There are 5 important points in spiritism :

- There's one God, defined as "The Supreme Intelligence and Cause of everything."

- There are spirits, created ignorant and simple but who are given the chance to evolve&perfect themselves.

- They do so, through and thanks to reincarnation. Every life we go through is a chance for us, to become better and to learn from different situations.

- Spirits are a part of Nature, and therefore can communicate with us.

- The Earth isn't the only inhabited planet in the universe.

What is the most important whatsoever, is that true life is the spiritual life. Spirit is eternal, and the material world is only a place for this spirit to develop its potential. The life we have now, on earth is a short segment of the eternal spiritual life. Once we are higher spirits, we stop reincarnating and we just stay as spirits gazing at God's light. It is also accepted in spiritism, that we can reincarnate into different planets, different kinds of societies and worlds.

Spiritism can be seen as a christian doctrine, for it is based on Jesus' teachings, who is seen as the greatest moral exemple for humankind. It belongs to everyone to see it as such or not.

To conclude, spiritism is about love and improving oneself. It is a very interesting doctrine and discovering it really changed my life. I would suggest everyone to read at least the Spirits' Book, it can only do some good.

I learned to live half alive.

Lately I've been so busy that I don't even find the time to make a video. Every morning is a rush, I barely wear make up anymore, don't do my hair at all and all I wear is sweater+shorts. Oh, I forgot the scarf, beanie and coat that I have to wear also everyday, because it's winter and it's cold. If you don't know, I HATE the cold more than anything else, and to be completely honest with you, looking through my window and realizing it's nighttime at 5pm, isn't that much my thing either.
Since my return to Paris, after my GacktTrip, I've been feeling quite low, insecure and pretty emotional.
Because I miss him, because I miss YFC and concerts, because I miss traveling.
But also because I came back to uni, after a year of ... just doing nothing, except sleeping, seeing my friends, modeling, doing videos and reading, writing. Last year wasn't an happy time, because I wasn't supposed not to go to school and I was feeling guilty for dropping out and not working or studying, but this year is hard as well.
I didn't think it'd be that hard to go back to school after just one year, but it really is. As weird as it may seem I fear school now. I just don't feel safe and comfortable around other students, I cannot seem to make friends with people, except for one or two. I feel so scared and anxious about talking in front of the class or being asked something by the teacher. After every oral class, I feel tired because my whole body was tense.
Added to that, I have homeworks to do. A lot. I chose to learn korean while learning japanese, and I don't know if this was a good idea. I cannot see improvements, I cannot have a conversation or think in korean at all. Or almost. Other pupils seem to be in the same state, but don't seem to worry that much about it though.
And studying korean that hard, prevents me from studying japanese so I'm not improving and my level is very average.
It may seem completely pretentious and childish, but I was never used to being an average student. I've always been the first, at least in french, english and philosophy, which were the most important subjets in my class. That, since primary school. I've always been a very good student, without even studying. And now I have to be okay with average marks and not so good tests. I was used to being the best at languages, even if my german wasn't that good. And now I'm not. At all. It's not a question of ego, but it's just hard when things that you've always known suddenly change. I miss litterature, english, philosophy classes. I miss those subjects I was good at without having to do any efforts.
I love japanese, but I just don't like not being very good at something. But halas, I don't like to study hard either. In fact, I don't even know how to do it.
So I've been thinking of stopping korean classes, and I don't know if I should do it or not. I just don't know if it's just me being lazy, and giving up; or if it's me taking an intelligent and logical decision so that I have all my time for japanese. Because I really have so few time, also due to the babysitting that I do monday,tuesday&thursday. I guess I need to really think about it, and make up my mind. I've been missing not a lot of classes, but more than other students, that I'm sure of. I've called my mum many times, about to cry between two classes because I felt bad and worried. I'm tired of school being such a burden and a difficult thing for me,when it used to be something funny&more than easy.
I just cannot get over this summer trip. and over what happened last year. I feel ugly, fat, useless and I hate that. I really do. My mum suggested I should see a doctor, or a psychologist, I think she may be in the right, however I just don't want to. The thing is I'm now so tired, and it's so insidious that I don't know how I'll cope with that if that whole thing doesn't stop.
I guess I'll let myself time, until the exams of January, and then we'll see.
I'm sorry this entry was such a depressing one, but I really felt the need to talk about it.
And I recently logged again in servimg.com and found so many old and nostalgic pictures of my friends and so on, I thought I'd share a little bit with you.

I just love the retro 70's feeling of these pictures. I had a make up greatly inspired by Twiggy ( if not a recreation), and the hair was inspired by Brigitte Bardot, who is to me one of the most beautiful women ever.

Le Panthéon : Aux grands hommes la patrie reconnaissante.( "To the great men, the grateful homeland")

Le panthéon.
I feel like nobody really knows or talks about this place, while talking about Paris, which I don't understand because this is a wonderful and so impressive sight, as well inside or outside.
It was originally a church but now is a mausoleum for all great men in french history.
The Pantheon was built between 1758 and 1790.
The building itself, is 110 meters long, by 84 meters wide, and 83meters high. The crypt is just the same.
Useless to say it's really huge and impressive.

The inside is full of very beautiful and giant paintings, which tell The Apotheosis of Saint Genevieve( for whom the Pantheon was originally built.

In the crypt are buried people such as Rousseau, Voltaire, Victor Hugo, Alexandre Dumas or Louis Braille.
As a big admirer of Rousseau I find it quite weird that he was buried in front of Voltaire.
However, I'll let you appreciate some pictures I took when my father visited me.

I've been studying a lot lately, but I had the time to watch two movies, which I really enjoyed and I thought I'd share with you. One is japanese, one is korean, both are very different, but both really moved me to tears.

Let's begin with Late Autumn, the 2010's version, directed by Kim Tae-young.
I saw this movie during the festival of the korean cinema in Paris, this month, and I had almost no idea of what it would be like. I hadn't seen the trailer, only read a short synopsis.
However, this movie has made its way to my heart, and is now one of my favorite movies.
Late Autumn is the story of a young woman, Anna, who murdered her husband to save her life, and therefore was sent to jail. Because of her mother's death, she is allowed to spend two days outside, and that's when she meets Hoon, an original&charming gigolo.

I'm not going further into the story because I really would recommend you to watch it, and I don't want to spoil anything. The actors are great, especially Hyun Bin who plays the role of Hoon, and whom you may know from Secret Garden. Wei Tang(Anna) is also noteworthy in this movie, all in silence and looks. The whole atmospheer of the movie is pretty unique, in lots of grey,brown and dark colors, yet with a lovely&sweet dimension to it.
This movie is funny, serious, deep&moving. From the begining to the very end, you are carried along and I would definitely watch it again.

Second movie, absolutely different but that I still enjoyed, Only you can hear me.
This is definitely a different style, a different way to film, to portray love but I really appreciated the story.
Ryou is a very lonely girl, who has no friend and feel absolutely invisible and worthless. She doesn't own a cellphone, for the previous reasons, but she suddenly starts hearing the voice of Shinya, who lives in a different prefecture. They will become closer and closer through this telepathic relationship.

I really liked the hint of fantasy in this film, the beautiful landscapes, and melodies. It's a very pretty movie, full of poetry.

Let me know if you have watched these movies, or if there's any movie you think I should see. Preferably in japanese or korean, so that I can practise at the same time;) and because these are the ones I like best.

On Sunday afternoon, with two of my friends I went to the Albert Kahn gardens.

The gardens are very pretty, though a bit small in fact. There's a japanese village :

And there are also a french garden, which isn't that pretty I must say, compared to other gardens in Paris, an english one, not nice either compared to those I saw in England, and a blue forest.
All in all, it's a nice place to go if you can, to spend a great time with friends, it's a very peaceful place and it's amazing to see the atmospheer changing just at the corner of a bush.

And after that, I'm sure you knew it was coming, we went to a korean restaurant, to which I will ALWAYS go back. It's so cheap, so good, so big, and people there are so nice. I just hope next time I'll be brave enough to say hello, thank you&bye in korean.

Alternative Blanquette ~ Curry&Tofu Spaghettis

You may know this famous french meal, la blanquette, usually made of veal and without any spices.
Well, I kind of made it my own way, which means, the vegetarian way !

A lot of people say they don't like tofu, that it tastes so bad and so on ... Please try this before saying this again, if this is your case ! I can assure you this plate is delicious and really not the kind of meal that let you hungry, though it's perfect for a diet.
The cream is light, the pastas if eaten only like twice a week give you the carbs you need, the tofu is full of proteins and with a ridiculously low number of calories! Carrots and mushrooms are obviously only good for you!

You'll just need about 2 or 3 mushrooms, according to your taste, spaghettis, 1 carrot, 1 block of firm tofu and some crème fraîche.

1. Put the pastas in the boiling water.

2. Meanwhile, cut the carrot&the mushrooms.

3. Cook the carrot with some olive oil. Few minutes afterwarnthough it's firm, you want to be gentle not to break it.
5. When it's almost cooked, it's time for the crème fraîcheds, cook the mushrooms.

4. Cut the tofu in little squares,add curry and add it to the vegetables. Eve ! :)

6. Let it cook a little bit more, not too much, add spices of your choice, and serve on the spaghettis :)

Easy&Healthy Fajitas.

Today I was so damn hungry when I got back from college, and I was craving for a kind of spicy/mexican food, which I very rarely have.

These fajitas are incredibly easy&quick to do, delicious and yet they make you full they are very healthy. Apart from the cheese, it contains few calories&carbs which is very nice.

1. Cut any vegetables of your choice in squares, I chose red&green pepers, with tomatoes.

2. Add some spicy tomatoe sauce to the vegetables after 5/6 minutes of cooking, and let it cook until it gets the desired consistency.

3. Break and egg or two on top of it and mix :)

4. Heat the fajitas, add lettuce, and serve the mixture, with some cheese on top. :)

And tadaaaa :)
