Thought: Doesn't it seem as if the people with the most problems are often those who are most thankful for what they have? Facing a crisis tends to make us appreciate the things we take for granted. Our challenge is to appreciate what we have, even without a crisis to prompt us.

Personal thoughts:

The other day I saw this picture, it said, what if you woke up today with only the things you thanked God for yesterday. It really made me think that I need to be more appreciative of what I have, and need to thank God for everything I have.Ever since I read that I've tried really hard to thank God for everything I couldn't live without the next morning, and then some more things. It's very relaxing, I challenge you to try it!

N ♥ Tip - How to Make Your Nail Polish Dry Quicker

So the other day, I needed to paint my nails before church.

I looked at the clock and it was time to go and my nails were still drying.

Randomly I needed to wash something off my hand, I just turned on the cold water and stuck my hands in, not even thinking about my nail polish.

I pulled my hands out of the freezing water, and touched my nails, they were DRY! NO JOKE!

So if you are in a hurry and need your nail polish to try super fast, just stick them under cold water for about thirty seconds and the cold water will set the polish.

I bet you don't believe me right now, but I PROMISE it works!

Please tell me if you try this, and if doesn't work, I'm sorry, but I promise it worked for me like 3 times this past week! So PLEASE give it a try and tell me!

I have a new favorite word:

NAMASTE

Beautiful isn't it? Now I bet you're wondering what does that even mean?

To me it means: I honor the divine spirit that is in you and that is in me.

The whole action of namaste unfolds itself at three levels:

Mental
Physical
Verbal

The mental submission is in the spirit of total surrender of the self. This is parallel to the devotion one expresses before a chosen deity, also known as bhakti. The devotee who thus venerates with complete self-surrender is believed to partake the merits or qualities of the person or deity before whom he performs this submission. A transaction can only be between equals, between individuals who share some details in common. Hence by performing namaste before an individual we recognise the divine spark in him. Further by facilitating our partaking of these divine qualities, namaste makes us aware of these very characteristics residing within our own selves.

Simply put, namaste intimates the following:

'The God in me greets the God in you

The Spirit in me meets the same Spirit in you.

Today I challenge you to find the divine spirit in everyone you come in contact with. I know with some people this is super hard, some people are just mean, but deep down inside they all have a divine spirit.

I also challenge each of us to find the divine spirit in ourselves.

Over at Lifehacker , they've compiled a highly useful list of the best time to buy anything, from linens and office furniture to Broadway tickets and bicycles, and a few fashion-centric ones are definitely worth learning about. So if you're planning to shop this year, be aware that the best time to buy is...

- Jeans in October They say prices drop post-back to school season, so make your favorite pair last all summer then invest again when fall rolls around.

- Luggage in March Most people take their vacations around Christmas and during the summer, which means early spring is a very slow time for luggage retailers, and they slash prices accordingly.

- Sneakers in April Warmer temps bring fair-weather exercisers, which brings great discounts on running shoes!

- Gift cards in January After the holidays, people get rid of unwanted gift cards at sites like Plastic Jungle , so you can scoop 'em up for a lot less than their face value.

While I was at Wal Mart I also picked up the Monistat Chafing Relief Powder Gel, I know a lot of you are thinking ... ummm gross why are you telling us this? Well let me tell you! I noticed that in the ingredients it has the same ingredient that is found in most make up primers. Not just the same ingredient, but a lot more of the ingredient than any make up primer, and it's about a fifth of the cost! So I picked it up and I'm going to do an experiment. I will tell you how it goes!

Thought:

We don't understand entirely why positive thoughts impact our bodies in positive ways; we just know do. Research has shown people who are sick improve more quickly when they have a positive attitude rather than a negative attitude. And we all know the power of the placebo effect.

A positive attitude by itself may not cure an illness, but at the very least it helps us cope better. If a positive attitude can help us when we are sick, how might it help us when we are not sick?

Makes my hair soft and shiny, without being oily

My hair has TONS of thin little hairs, not super thick, just a lot of hairs, and it works perfectly!

I use this product every night when I get out of the shower, I spray one pump into my hand and put it on the ends of my hair, not getting close to the roots, then I brush out my hair! In the morning my hair is untangled and much more manageable than ever before!

Would I recommend this product to a friend: Yes, but I would warn them first about the price, I think it's worth the price, but I can't put a value on someone else's money!

Where can I find It's a 10 - Leave in product, I got mine at a beauty salon, but I've seen it at Target and even Wal Mart ... I think?

I've been using the same brush to do my blush, and contour my face, so decided I should get a new brush to contour my face.

I found this brush from Sonia Kashuk at Target for about $9.00

To be honest, I have never bought a Sonia Kashuk item that I don't LOVE, her products are super good quality, I would consider them to be better than some of my high end products!

I've always wanted to try the cat eyeliner, but my hands are just not steady enough to do it with a regular eyeliner pencil, so I have heard from a few people that Maybelline's Line Stiletto - Ultimate Precision Liquid Eyeliner is the best product for the job. I tried it last night, but I still think I'm just not good at it yet, because the product literally glided on my eyelid so perfectly, I just didn't know what I was doing. Practice makes perfect ... right? Here's what the product looks like:
