DIY Farmhouse Cottage decor crafts "Pioneer Woman" inspired

Hello lovelies!

I am so excited to share with you some of my DIY Dollar Tree Farmhouse Cottage decor crafts!

For Christmas last season my Pops gifted me with a set of Pioneer Woman dishes and I was hooked!

I decided to add to my collection by crafting up some pretty plates and Pizza pans I found at Dollar Tree!

Eventually I will probably buy the real thing but until then I thought it would be cute to craft up some of my own!

Cozy Cottage Home Tour 2020

Hello sweet friends!

Welcome into my cozy Cottage Home!

I am sharing a video tour with you here on my YouTube channel!

I finally found a NEW to me sofa I traded with a friend for this pretty over sized set and we are loving it! Plenty of room for everyone to chill out and be super comfy cozy!

I also have fresh roses blooming all over in my yard! They are putting on quite a show this year!

I love picking them and creating a sweet little bouquet in some of my vintage dishes!

I have also been creating pretty home decor for my kitchen and collecting the cutest Pioneer Woman goodies from Walmart! Ree Drummond has the sweetest vintage style plates, towels etc! Perfect for the vintage lover at heart and pretty reasonable as well!

I have also been doing some crazy organizing by color code!

Ever tried that?

It's pretty fun!

Mr. Romantic spoiled me with some Mackenzie Child's goodies for Mother's Day as he knows I would never buy them for myself but they are so pretty! I have even done some dupes on my YouTube channel!

~NEW~ DIY Farmhouse Chic tablescape decor🍋

Happy Saturday sweet friends!

It is time for a NEW season of home decor and I am crushing on pops of yellow for Summer!

Here is how I created a Farmhouse Chic tablescape on a budget!

Fall Decor 2019

Hello everyone!

Fall is one of my favorite seasons to create beautiful DIY home decor!

I have been leaning toward a Chic Farmhouse style for my home.

Buffalo check plaid is all the rage for fall and I found some fabric in this style at Walmart to recover my family heirloom chairs.

On my YouTube channel I am doing huge "I love Fall" series, we are on episode 23, if you need to catch up on this series, here is the link to my Olivia's Romantic

I also love to find interesting ways to use thrift store finds in my home decor.

Inexpensive curtain valances can double as table runners as seen on my entryway buffet.

I also love to re-purpose shelves by painting them white and using them in a small room to eliminate bulky cabinets but still have a fun way to display seasonal decor!

My favorite place to shop for fun inexpensive seasonal decor is at the Dollar Tree!

They have really stepped up their game this year with florals, dinnerware and seasonal home decor signs.

These are a couple of examples of tablescapes you can create using Dollar Tree supplies!

French Farmhouse Trash to Treasure Makeovers

Happy Spring lovely friends!~

I have been working some Trash to Treasure French Farmhouse makeover projects!

It is so amazing to me how a simple coat of paint can transform a piece of furniture.

Here is the before photo of my thrift store treasures before I gave them a touch of TLC and paint.

Here are my treasures after painting them with a lovely light gray home made chalk paint.

Such a huge difference!!

I also took a jacket from the thrift store and cut of the ruffled part to create this lovely basket.

Hello my darlings! I am soooo excited to share with you my Christmas Home Tour video for 2018!

My Pink Christmas in July home tour

With visions of Sugarplums Dancing in our heads, I am celebrating Pink Christmas in July with a Pink Christmas home tour!

My beautiful sister Gabby with NY GIRL STORY blessed me with a magazine quality photo shoot.

I was over the moon excited, especially since I was contacted by the editor of Vintage Holiday magazine to submit photos of my Pink Christmas home!!!

Say what???

Soooooo, I went over the top and whipped out all of my Pink Christmas decor (in May)!

Call me crazy, I know!

I just had to share this Pink Christmas home tour with you all.

I am so in love with my dear friend Mel's pink Christmas vintage elves!

I mixed in a tiny bit of red with my Pink Christmas tree...what do you all think?

I thought it would tie in with my Vintage red Santa Claus!

I also created hand painted vintage sparkling pink mini Santa's to hang on my pink Christmas tree with the vintage Shiny Brite ornaments!

Home Cleaning faves

I have absolutely fallen in love with the Mrs. Meyers cleaning products from Grove Collaborative!

I love tidying up my home not only because it makes things look nice but it helps me relieve stress.

I have always used junky cleaners from Wal-Mart with really harsh chemicals until I found the Grove Collaborative website where they have loads of all natural household cleaners to choose from.

GLAM $1 DIY NAILS

Hello beautiful friends!

Recently I have been hooked on getting glamorous nails at home!

I used to spend tons of money on fancy manicures only to have my nails looking Shabby after a day of crafting!

So, I started doing my nails at home using Dollar Tree nails!!!

It is actually super easy!!

I pick up two packs of the French tip fake nails from the Dollar Tree.

Step 1~ Gently buff the tops of real nails

Step 2~ Trim nails very short and push back the cuticles

Step 3~ Dab a tiny bit of super glue on top of nail and then press on fake nails and hold for about 10 seconds

Step 4~ Add a clear top coat for a more realistic finish!

Here is the video I made of how I apply my Dollar Tree Nails!~

I love how I can get a glam nail manicure for only about $2.

If they get messed up from crafting I take them off for the days I work and then on Friday put a new set on!!

My Shabby Chic Kitchen Makeover Tour

I am soooo excited to share with you my Shabby Chic Kitchen Hoosier cabinet makeover and tour!!

I have been dying to wave my magic paint brush and kick this Hoosier cabinet up a notch to match my Shabby Chick kitchen cabinets.

So here is the BEFORE...

These fun happy fresh colors really brighten up my tiny kitchen!

I could not be happier with the results!!

Did you know you can spray paint plates?

I took a couple of old plates and bowls that I did not use and spray painted them pink to match the knobs on my cabinet!

I painted my cabinets white several years ago...now if only someone would make pink or green appliances!

I used a Rachel Ashwell vintage Simply Shabby Chic baloon valance with a ruffled white

valance overlay above my sink.

I also added a pale pink chandelier to glam up the space!

How To Make a Deco Mesh Patriotic Dollar Tree Wreath!

This wreath is oh so cute and the perfect way to doll up your front door for the 4th of July holiday!

This project is so so easy and it only cost me about $12!

The supplies you will need for this gorgeous wreath are all from the Dollar Tree!!

DECO MESH WREATH SUPPLIES:

14" Wire Wreath form

Large Decorative Burlap Bow

25 pipe cleaners

5 Rolls of 6" Deco Mesh in red, white and blue colors

Decorative patriotic sign

2-3 Rolls of wired or burlap accent ribbon

Hot glue and gun

After I created this wreath I was ready for a 4th of July fireworks party, lol!!!

Hello lovely dolls!!!

I am so excited to share with you my Shabby Chic Kitchen Pantry Makeover!

This pantry went from drab to fab!

I challenged myself to try to use only Dollar Tree organizers!

So here is the disorganized mess before photo!

I had to take everything out to even begin this project.

Then I cleaned the walls and shelves.

After I gave everything a good tidy up, I painted the walls and shelves white.!

I found these large Dollar Tree plastic bins and then added some pretty Shabby Chic Rachel Ashwell fabric to the outside.

I also found these cute little glass jars and pink labels at Dollar Tree.

They were perfect to store my sugar, flour and marshmallows.

The pink letters and tiny pink containers I found at Michael's craft store.

I could not resist the bling!

I am so excited with how this project turned out!

I used Glidden pre tinted white semi-gloss paint from Wal-Mart and it worked perfect!
