Kim Kardashian Wants New Relationship to Stay 'More Private'

2010-08-18T03:48:00.000-07:00

Kim Kardashian recently confirmed that she's dating NFL player Miles Austin, but don't expect to hear her spilling about the relationship. Kim wants to keep their romance as low-key as possible, so he won’t appear very much in her reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Kim, who previously dated athlete Reggie Bush, said: “I want to keep things a little more private this time around.

“I know that there was a teaser with Miles on the show. You probably won’t see him as much because he’s busy with his career, but there might be a party that he was at and he’ll be in the background or something like that.

“I’ve been single for -- I think it’s been, what six or seven months or something? Six months -- so it’s a process. You’ll see a little bit of it, and when we’re not filming, you know, obviously, there might be some people that I went on dates with that I didn’t capture. I’m happy and I’m living my life, focusing on me right now.”

While Miles will appear in parts of the series, Kim says she would happily date someone who would refuse to be in it.

Kim Kardashian: I'm Dating Miles Austin

2010-08-12T05:57:00.000-07:00

Finally, we've got the news straight from the horse's mouth! Kim Kardashian has been rumored to be romancing Dallas Cowboys player Miles Austin for the past several weeks, but she finally confessed to the relationship recently.

Kim told EOnline.com that the two are "definitely dating," and apparently Austin will be appearing in the fifth season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

The two are keeping it low-key for now, she said. "He's in the middle of his football season and he's focused and I'm just trying to have fun and take everything really slow."

Kim may not be stressing about settling down anytime soon, but her mom Kris Jenner can't wait to see it happen. Kim revealed, "At my age, she already had four kids...I don't feel any pressure. Now is the one time in my life I can be 100% selfish. I'm not married; I don't have kids; I can focus on my career."

But when she does settle down, she has a plan. Kardashian said, "I want four kids, for sure

Father of Madonna's Adopted Daughter Hopes to Meet Her One Day

2010-08-10T05:19:00.000-07:00

The father of Madonna’s adopted daughter is hoping to come back into her life and has requested the singer send him a picture of the little girl. The "Celebration" singer adopted 5-year-old Mercy from Malawi last year.

Mercy James (Pacific Coast News) James, who has never met Mercy, whose mother died in childbirth aged 14, said: “I would appreciate if Madonna could send me pictures of how she looks like now as I don't get any pleasure of being with her.

“It's emotionally painful for me as a father. I'm very happy that Madonna is taking care of her. But as a parent, from the moment I heard that she was still alive, I wanted to meet her and I'm hopeful that I'll meet her one day.”

James, who has moved to South Africa in a bid to earn enough money to fly over to see Mercy in either her home in the UK or the US, was initially against the adoption, but now wants to meet Madonna as he can see what a good job she is doing of raising her.

He told South Africa’s Sunday Time newspaper: “As a father, I think about her every day. Having a baby is a blessing. So I go through the emotional pain of not living with her every day. I would like to make peace with Madonna so that I can meet my baby. I need someone to advise me on how to go about doing that. From the time I learnt that my daughter was still alive, I've been longing for a chance to meet with her but how I do that? I don't know.”

As well as Mercy, Madonna, also has adopted son David, four, and her kids, Lourdes, 13, and nine-year-old Rocco from previous relationships.

Lindsay Lohan Will Only Be Able to See Her Family While in Rehab

2010-08-10T05:08:00.000-07:00

As Lindsay Lohan continues her treatment for substance abuse issues, it's been revealed that only close family members will be allowed to visit the troubled starlet while she's in rehab.

The Mean Girls actress -- who was released from prison last week after serving just 13 days of a 90-day sentence for breaking the terms of her probation for a 2007 driving under influence (DUI) conviction -- is currently on a 90-day treatment course at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.

However, staff are said to have banned the troubled star from seeing anyone apart from her blood relations for the first 30 days of her stay, according to gossip website TMZ.

Mother Dina and sister Ali have already visited Lindsay on a number of occasions but if anyone else in the Lohan family wishes to see the 24-year-old actress she has to personally approve them before they’re allowed on site.

Meanwhile, Lindsay’s assistant Elinore is reportedly “super stressed” by having to cope with the demands of Dina and Ali while Lindsay is in rehab.

An insider has revealed Dina has suggested selling off some of her daughter’s clothes and possessions as a lucrative business venture.

Additionally, 16-year-old Ali has had Elinore running around after her all day, which is making her “miserable and incredibly worn out”.

Hugh Hefner Is Quite the Self-Described Romantic

2010-08-10T04:59:00.000-07:00

You don't have hundreds of ex-girlfriends without having a love of romance, we suppose. Just ask Hugh Hefner, who says he's a very romantic man.

The Playboy founder -- who has famously had multiple women live with him in the Playboy mansion at once, including exes Kendra Wilkinson, Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt -- insists love is the most important thing in his life.

He said: "I'm a romantic, and I always have been."

But Hugh admits his version of romantic love is not always limited to just one person.

The 84-year-old media mogul -- who is the subject of new documentary Hugh Hefner: Playboy, Activist and Rebel -- told CNN: "Well, romantic love is sometimes promiscuous, sometimes not."

Hugh believes his fixation with love and relationships comes from his "repressed" childhood.

He explained: "I was raised in a home in which there was not a lot of hugging and kissing. My folks were very repressed. They were raised farm people from Nebraska. They didn't get a lot of hugs and kissing, and my brother and I were raised in that kind of home. I think that in a very real way I have filled that hole from childhood with love."

At present, Hugh is only dating one woman, 24-year-old blond beauty Crystal Harris.

Katy Perry Is Writing a Wedding Song for Russell Brand

2010-08-06T04:38:00.000-07:00

Katy Perry isn't just writing her own vows for her big day -- she's also apparently writing a song for her man Russell Brand. A source says she'll serenade her new hubby during the ceremony, whenever that is.

Is Katy Perry going to sing at her wedding? (Getty) A source explained: “Katy has written a love song for Russell. She’s planning to sing it to him right after they exchange vows.
She can’t wait to see the look on his face. It’s going to be the most emotional moment of her life. Katy’s fallen head-over-heels for Russell and isn’t afraid to show everyone her inner feelings. She thinks that the best way she can express herself is with romantic lyrics.”

Katy, 25, recently revealed she and 35-year-old Russell keep making up stories about their impending nuptials so people will be surprised when the big day finally arrives. She said:
Russell makes up these really crazy stories about me and our wedding. I make up stories, too - I said he was a 'groomzilla'. He said I farted a lot, but I've never farted in front of him - honestly! I hear these crazy stories - we are going to get married in latex, underwear, in Spandex, in Japan, in India, in Thailand. But I think all this craziness about my marriage is really funny."

Michael Jackson Death House for Sale—at a Discount!

2010-08-05T04:03:00.000-07:00

Now's your chance to own 1.26 acres of morbid Hollywood history.
The Holmby Hills mansion where Michael Jackson was staying when he suffered cardiac arrest and subsequently died on June 25, 2009, is back on the market for $28,995,000.
The asking price may be high, but it's actually $10 million less than businessman Hubert Guez, CEO of the Ed Hardy brand, wanted for the stately home when he originally tried to sell in 2008.
So what does this discounted pile of bricks have to offer?
The gated French Chateau-style estate, completed in 2002, boasts seven bedrooms and 13 bathrooms in 17,171 square feet for your basic living needs, while its fancy features include 12 fireplaces, a screening room, a wine cellar and tasting room, a gym and spa facilities, a seven-car garage, maid's quarters, a pool, expansive gardens and a detached guest house.
Jackson was in one of those seven bedrooms when Dr. Conrad Murray, who has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter, administered the dose of the sedative propofol that ultimately proved too much for the King of Pop's system.
Guez had leased the house to Jackson for $100,000 per month and, according to TMZ, tried to rent it out again for $300,000 per month, but ultimately decided to sell.

2010-08-05T03:50:00.000-07:00

Julia Roberts says she'll never -- ever -- step under the surgeon's knife.

The 42-year-old says
"I want my kids to know when I'm pissed, when I'm happy and when I'm confounded," said Roberts, who graces the cover the of this September's issue of Elle magazine. "Your face tells a story and it shouldn't be a story about your drive to the doctor's office."

Continued Roberts: "It's unfortunate that we live in such a panicked, dysmorphic society where women don't even give themselves a chance to see what they'll look like as older persons. I want to have some idea of what I'll look like before I start cleaning the slates."

Justin Bieber Pretended to Be Akon's Love Child

2010-08-03T04:48:00.000-07:00

Sounds like Justin Bieber has quite the sense of humor -- the budding young pop star once prank-called Akon, pretending to be Akon’s illegitimate son.

The 16-year-old singer prank-called the music star after stealing his number from the phone of his manager Scooter.

Scooter recalled: “He was like, ‘Daddy, why don’t you love me?’ It really scared the s--t out of Akon!”

Justin was later asked about his telephone tricks by a fan on Twitter and admitted making joke calls to people is one of his favorite pastimes. He Tweeted: “R u Kidding of course I do!! I prank everyone!! No 1 is safe :)”

Although Justin is constantly surrounded by his management, bodyguards and publicist, the "Baby" singer has also admitted he sometimes feels overwhelmed by the devotion he is shown by his friends.

Despite his comments, the singer is keen to stay close to his admirers, particularly his female fans. He Tweeted: “hello girls... i think we should all hang out very soon... all of us... together... often. ;)”

Chelsea Clinton Ties the Knot in Vera Wang

2010-08-02T04:27:00.000-07:00

It was hands down the year's most buzzed about wedding: Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky married yesterday at a Hudson River estate built by the legendary John Jacob Astor. As befits an all-American princess, Chelsea married in a spectacular gown by Vera Wang, the American designer known to have revolutionized wedding fashion.

Chelsea's wedding dress featured a diagonal swath of silk tulle wrapped around the bodice and a majectic ball skirt of laser-cut silk organza that fluttered as she moved. Chelsea wore only a simple diamond bracelet and earrings, allowing the dramatic silver beading of her belt to shine on its own.

The bride also keeps well-dressed company: Mom Hillary Clinton donned an Oscar de la Renta gown in a rich berry hue. The groom was dashing in a Burberry tux.

Congratulations, Marc and Chelsea! Many happy returns

Lil Wyne Busy Reading,Chatting and Working out in Jail...

2010-07-16T09:03:00.000-07:00

Lil Wayne is serving a year in jail for gun possession, but the rapper's still keeping fans posted on how he's been spending his days.

He wrote on his blog, "I know that people are inquisitive of what I do all day, so here goes. I wake up around 11AM. Have some coffee. Call my kids, and my wonderful mother.

"I then shower up. Read fan mail. Have lunch. Back on the phone. Read a book or write some thoughts down.

"Have dinner. Phone. Pushups. Then I listen to ESPN on the radio. Read the bible, then sleep. That’s my day."

Sounds pretty relaxing, no? Wayne is also keeping his spirits up while behind bars. He added that he's "counting the days and still smiling."

He's also writing plenty of music, which he's excited for fans to hear -- he even threw out words like "amazing" and "perfect" when struggling to describe them.

Oh, and he gave the Lakers a shout-out, too.
