If this is real he has to be dead. But I believe this just very well staged. The cameraman doesn't flinch. I don't know Finnish; but with the kids as backdrop; its probally a commercial for school safety.

Watch this. If its fake – then they have done a great job!

Products Made Famous By Billy

Television pitchman Billy Mays — who built his fame by appearing on commercials and infomercials promoting household products and gadgets — died Sunday.

Mays, 50, was found unresponsive by his wife inside his Tampa, Fla., home at 7:45 a.m. on Sunday, according to the Tampa Police Department.

What the hell is going on this past week; with celebs dropping dead everywhere?! It must seem like I'm turning my site into a memorial to dying celebrities.

I liked ol' Mays – though I can't say that I was ever inclined to order products. He had a likable persona – after you got use to his yelling. 50 yrs old is really young. I'm already 43 myself; and not getting any younger. And suddenly, everyone iconic over the years of my life and generation is dying.

And so has analog television. Think there's any connection??

I personally dread the day when ol' Hugh Hefner finally kicks the bucket. I haven't picked up a Playboy in years (really!); but this is the 1960's-1980's super hero for young boys.

I mean damn!

Has anyone checked to make sure their all preserved in wax or something?!! Velvet paintings?

Well, God Bless You Billy – I'm sure you were a cool guy to know.

Damn. Celebrity death is on a roll this week. First Walter Cronkite; then Farrah Fawcett and Micheal Jackson. These are three prominent personalities from my childhood. Farrah in her prime during the seventies became the preeminent icon of every pubescent boys fantasies. The poster she made was considered the most racy thing anyone had done to that point. It was because she was all nipple-ly – her trade mark actually. Her other trade marks were her phenomenal smile; stunning legs; and sweet feminine voice. Its tragic how things turned out for her later in life – god bless her; really.

Here is the rare footage I remember from my childhood when I was only 5 yrs. old. A brief appearance on the Partridge family show. She has all her trade marks in full bloom even on 1970 television; smile; legs; voice; and of course, nipples

I may be 43 yrs. old now – but tonight i will wait till the time my parents would go to sleep – I will block my bedroom door – I will whip out Farrah's poster and revisit my early pubescent fantasies in honorable memory to Farrah.

………..I just can't hit the ceiling now

Damn. I didn't have any particular like for the man; but I grew up with him a part of my life. Thanks to Ed and Johnny Carson; I was allowed to stay up late and watch the show with my folks.

We're yet another step closer to the proverbial "Old School" becoming the "Dead and Gone School" Why can't everyone live forever?! I haven't seen Ed on TV for several years; but it was nice knowing he was still in the world.
