While reading the latest issue of “The Torch” magazine, printed by Christian United for Israel (CUFI), I realized this information is not being broadcast in the evening news. This information is not being broadcast on the major news networks either. Somehow this information must get put out there into the general public’s hands, but how? This is where I come into play… little old me with my little old blog trying to save the world, even if it’s only one person at a time. Yes, the information is important to me, so much so that I think you need to know about it too! Why? Because it my save our lives, our nation, and perhaps even the world.

America needs Israel Now More Than Ever

No, the title is not backwards, Israel does not need America more than ever. America needs Israel more than ever. Why? Because we need a strong ally in the Middle East, and they are the only one that shares American values. In his article, “The Ultimate Ally”, Ambassador Michael B. Oren, wrote a fascinating piece on our reliance on Israel, and why we cannot fail in our loyalty to them. To do so would be the detriment to everyone, and yes I do mean everyone. First off, he explains what an ally is, “An ally stands with the United States through multiple conflicts and promotes its global vision… Its army is loyal to its democratic government; it helps secure America’s borders, and assists in saving American lives on the battlefield.” He goes on to say, “An ally stimulates the U.S. economy through trade, technological innovation, and job creation.” Now is that a great definition or what!

America has not turned its back on Israel, Obama may have tried but there are 4 million Jews in America and 159 million Christians who support Israel and want to remain allies with them. A Gallup poll from this February even showed that two out of three Americans sympathize with Israel. Support for Israel in the United States has not declined, despite Obama’s efforts. It is a popular thought that an Israeli-American alliance is more important now than ever before.

Obama like many other Muslims try to blame Israel for failed peace negotiations. In his recent speech to restore the 1967 borders, Obama failed to mention the corresponding Palestinian concessions, which was to reject the return of the Jewish people to their homeland. Yes, he wanted them kicked out of Israel again! David Brog, the director of CUFI said, “Singling out Israel is a moral failure of the highest order.” Also it is to note that Obama embraced this one-sided peace negotiation after the Hamas had signed their unity agreement in Cairo. And in case you don’t know, the Hamas terrorist organization is now part of the Palestinian government. The Hamas Covenant calls for violent destruction of Israel and embraces the murder of all Jews no matter where they live, and that means in America too. Obama knew this, he knows this, yet he does not care, and even agrees with this. Now does this sound like a true Christian President, no it doesn’t, but nothing Obama says or does represents a true Christian character.

Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East. It is certain to remain stable and pro-American when all others fail. In Israel alone, the United States will not have to choose between upholding its democratic principles and pursing its vital interests. Ties between the U.S. and Israel are not new, their roots go further than Israel’s creation 63 years ago…it took hold with the Pilgrims arrival in 1620. The Pilgrims (Separatists from the Church of England) considered themselves to be on an “Exodus” as they crossed the “Big Sea” and founded a new “Promised Land”. Plymouth Rock was dubbed as the “New Israel.” These were God fearing people. Just like their neighbors in the South, at Jamestown, the first thing they built was a church, before a house or a fort.

Israel has always sided with the United States on major global issues. Oren declares, “At the UN and other international institutions, the two countries’ voting patterns are virtually identical, as are their policies on human rights and international law.” He also states that “in times of danger, especially, Israel has responded to America’s needs.” For example, in 1991, in spite of missile attacks from Iraq, Israel honored Bush’s request not to retaliate. Israel is a true friend to America. And friends don’t stab friends in the back, especially over power, money, greed, or peer pressure from terrorist nations!

Israel is important because it is at the junction of paramount American interests. It is not situated in some backwoods, but as a prominent place on the Mediterranean Sea, and our gateway to the Muslim nations. This allows the U.S. to minimize its military deployment in the area. Israel is in a critical region for American national security. U.S. troops train with the IDF in aerial combat and special operations. Our navy ships are routinely docked in Haifa, and our Air Force planes refuel at Israeli bases. Andrew Shapiro stated, “Israel is a vital ally and cornerstone of our regional security commitments.” George Keegan exclaimed that America “owes more to the Israeli intelligence input than it does to any single source of intelligence.” The U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security and Israel share technical info in defending ports and terminals from terrorist attacks. Israel not only enhances American defenses—it also saves American lives.

In return for our $3 billion in aid to Israel, the U.S. receives an armed ally and enhanced military edge. Also, Israel assists America by stimulating trade, spurring technological innovation, and creating jobs. Oren informs us that “Despite a population of just 7.7 million people, Israel is America’s 20th largest customer in the world, surpassing Russia and Spain.” He goes on to say, “And at a time when America corporations are outsourcing to Asia, Israel is outsourcing to the United States.” In fact, the $3 billion in American aid to Israel, $2.25 billion gets returned to the U. S. This shows us that the U.S.-Israeli relationship is not one-dimensional. The two countries cooperate in a broad range of nonmilitary fields such as, humanitarian, commercial, and scientific. So for the price of only half of one Zumwalt-class destroyer, the U.S. helps maintain the military might of one of the few nations who would and does actively contribute to our defense. In the grand scheme of things, it’s a very small price to pay for friendship, peace and global security.

In regards to nuclear-armed Iran, America and Israel have promoted together international sanctions to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons. America knows that Israel remains the regions only credible foil to Iran. America and Israel have together strived for true peace in the Middle East. It is the only country capable of deterring Hamas and Hezbollah and impeding the spread of Iranian control. American has a true ally, and that ally is Israel, and in my book, makes our relationship with Israel priceless, regardless of what our current President has to say about it.

This is not only a political article, but a spiritual article. I want you to know that the Bible warns of these things. I’m not saying that Obama is the antichrist, but has an antichrist personality, just as Hitler had many years ago. But we “the people” have a part in this too. Our prayers make a difference. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Our world can be an evil place, our rulers can be evil people, but God can give us peace and protection. The Word also tells about God in Psalm 61:3: “For You have been a shelter for me, a strong tower from the enemy.” With that said, my prayers go out to you to have peace in these trying times, and to focus not upon the worldly problems, but keep your mind on heavenly things, keeping Jesus first in your hearts… now and forevermore.

While browsing the social network Twitter, I was astonished at the many posts by Americans that are totally anti-American. It led me to think where they are getting their info from… MTV, public schools, or is it just the average gutter talk in American societies today? Kids and adults alike are enraged with satanic thoughts of murder, rape, drugs, abortion, homosexuality, and cursing. But the worst thing is an absolute disrespect for God or anyone who believes in Him. Young people seem to want to belong to something; however they don’t know where to turn. They can’t go to their parents—most parents don’t raise their own kids anymore. They start shoving them into daycare centers at 5 weeks old, and soon by age 12 they allow them to watch themselves. While parents stay late after work, or go out with friends, soon many of these children join gangs or find a boyfriend/girlfriend to share their time with. Either way the results are disastrous, gangs lead to crimes, and time alone with boyfriends and girlfriends lead to unwanted pregnancies and STD’s. The schools aren’t any help either. Today’s public schools are like zoos full of wild animals. Nothing of value is being taught, with the liberal-left controlling the Educational System. Not only is the truth about American History not being told, but now they have replaced it with special classes on homosexuality, how to apply condoms, and take birth control pills. Planned Parenthood has affiliations with the public school systems to take girls age 12 and up to the abortion clinic without the parents even knowing. Men like Barney Frank and Kevin Jennings make it a point to manipulate young boys into believing gay is the way, while they are nothing more than sickos and pedophiles. It is horrible and the truth must be told. No I am not narrow-minded or a homophobe as “they” like to proclaim to anyone who disagrees with them. But I am specific in what true liberty is. True freedom is not manipulation to get people to agree with you and when they don’t, you call them a hater. Sorry it does not work that way! True freedom is expressed in what I am doing now, freedom of press, freedom of speech, freedom of religion. Freedom does not lie and manipulate. Freedom is presenting truthful choices and allowing honest decisions. With this said, here is my thought for the day for America: Never Forget.

America was founded on Christian beliefs. About 400 years ago when the Anglicans landed in the southern colonies (1607) and the puritans and separatists landed in the Northern colonies (1620), their beliefs were the same. They all were considered Christians, even the Catholics that came to Middle colonies (1632), they were Christians too. This means they all believed in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. They all believed in the Trinity. All had European religious roots from the Church of England, or from the Pope in Rome, most were Calvinist Reformers, which meant Protestant in their faith. This is just a small touch on the background of American Christian History, but for more info I would suggest some in depth reading. Two great college/graduate level books on American Christianity are “The Story of Christianity” Vol. 2 by Justo L. Gonzalez and “The Religious History of America” by Edwin Gaustad.

This is what our country was founded on, and it was not to long ago. Think about it 400 years ago, is only 5/6 generations back, if you take the average lifespan to be seventy. These people were our great grandparents, they came here to this new land, the promised land, to start a Christian country. However it failed early on with the Puritans who wanted a city of all believers. It wanted only Puritan leaders and voters, and anyone claiming otherwise was removed from the land or even killed. It ended tragically with the Salem Witch Trials. But at least they tried, it was a good idea. But the only “promise land” of all Christians will be in heaven someday. Many others tried to make heaven on earth too, such as some Communist and Marxist countries. Even Islam, which proclaims to be the religion of peace, will only achieve that when the entire world becomes Muslim and all infidels are killed. But back to the subject at hand… what would our grandparents think of us now? Would they recognize their offspring and land? If our grandparents could see us now, would they be ashamed, would they cry, would they be in disbelief? Yes. We must remember our roots, honor them, and most importantly we must honor and remember God. We must stop all this liberal-left nonsense, it didn’t work for Sodom and Gomorrah and it will not work for America either. “God Bless America” is just not a carefree motto, but a covenant promise made between the early colonists and God. It’s not one sided either, meaning God can’t continue to bless what is no longer His. We have a responsibility to remember and honor the One who has brought us this far, and that means to “Never Forget”. It’s up to us to honor our ancestors and to remember American History as it really was. Did you know the first thing built in Jamestown was a church, not a home, or a military fort? Yes, it was a church, because they put God first, before themselves. How many of us can say that today? America was founded by godly men and women and on the Word of God, let us never forget that, bet even more importantly let us never stop practicing that.

If we Christians don’t protect our rights to worship, preach, and read out of the Bible, then it will soon be taken away from us. We must remember that religious freedom means that we can believe anything and not get punished for it. Preachers in Canada and other places can’t preach on homosexuality, it is called a hate crime. They cannot say the verses like Lev. 18:22 and I Cor. 6:9, without facing fines and jail time. Do you want that to happen in America? Well it’s on its way! However, we can be soldiers for Christ, we can put on the whole armor of God to fight against the wiles of the devil (Eph. 6:10-20). Let us fight the good fight of faith (1Tim. 6:12) and stand up for American Christian History, and most of all let us never forget.

Author and Speaker Joyce Meyer said, “In America we now find that the history books have been revised and most of the references about God have been taken out of them. We no longer have our true history easily available, and that is a tragedy.” She goes on to say “The devil is using ungodly people to keep Americans and the world from remembering what God had done in our past.” (“Eat the Cookie… Buy the Shoes”, 2010) History, good or bad is always better when it’s true. I will leave you with this last note: The past is good to learn from. The past gives us clues of what is going to happen in the future. When we forget our past, our history, we lose our foundations and stability. Like the famous Bible verse says in Mathew 7:24-26, It is better to have a firm foundation on a rock, then a loose foundation on the sand… otherwise we may get washed away in the waves (paraphrased).

A Revelation of the Rapture

This vision occurred on August 28, 2009 around 5am. I had a prophetic dream, a miraculous dream, and a scary dream from God. It was about my life and the Rapture. I feel this is something totally real and it is going to happen soon. Even though this dream happened almost a year ago, it is as fresh and emotional today, as if it just happened to me last night. Anyway, as it says in the Bible, write down your dreams and visions to let others know.

Revelation 1:19 Write therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later.

The setting: My dream actually takes place right in my own living room, on the second floor of my apartment complex, the middle of a sunny, an autumn day. (I say this because in my dream, my children was not at home, and I had a feeling they were at school.) In other words, in my dream, I was home alone in the middle of a “school” day.

Here is the dream/vision:

The evil doers of this earth-The Islamic Radicals had planned to destroy all of the earth. They constructed landmines full of oil or diesel, so that when one person would step on just one of the landmines, it would trigger them all to blow up…the entire world. (In my dream/vision I could see Isalmics having great underground vats of this explosive oil or diesel fluid; they were constantly working on it, perfecting their evil plan to destroy the earth. They were very busy, like bees in a hive, working their selves into a frenzy, to where tunnels went all around the earth filled with this oil. They were all excited and couldn’t wait, and they talked and laughed thinking they had the best secret plan in the world.)

Now in my dream I was observing this. I had long been suspicious of their plans, and when I overheard them say it, I knew it was for real. I knew it was about to happen soon, if not now. I got scared and started to tremble and shake. I thought I was going into shock over what I just heard and I looked down trembling at my hands and feet and the floor. Just then I looked back up to see a little girl in the distance walking along, when she was about to step on a huge rectangular piece of cement, perhaps 20x10 feet big (this was one of the landmines) and I knew as soon as she would step on it the whole earth would start to explode. My vision showed me what was going to happen… from one side of the earth to the other, it would be like a giant wave of fire, like a tsunami of flames. The force would be so intense that it would cremate everything in its path, nothing would be left, not even ash, it would be totally disintegrated.

Just then the whole sky turned pitch black and it was only 1-3pm in the day. It turned fast as lightening and dark as midnight, and I knew it was the end of the world, so I grabbed a phone to hurry up and call my mom, I dialed the number when I looked outside again. When I looked outside this time I saw Christians outside my balcony door/window (at eye level with me and I was on the second floor, 2 stories up) staring into heaven with one of their arms lifted straight up. Then my arm automatically went straight up. (It was my right arm, as I remember so clearly as I still had the phone in my left hand.) It was though I just glided out onto the balcony and I looked left and right and saw people smiling towards heaven as they were being lifted up into a beautiful transparent yet golden/whitish light. This light was all I could see above with a little baby blue sky and clouds around the edges, but this beautiful soft light in the middle had to be the true sun, the Son. (Meanwhile darkness was still hovering the earth) My body was lifting off of the balcony as I and the others were being raptured up. As each person around me was being raptured up I could hear them say so humble and gracious, “Praise the Lord” but their mouths did not move, it was telepathic, as if I could hear their thoughts. Their thoughts were happy, peaceful, and pure. All their eyes were on heaven, they had already forgotten about this world. But as I went to say “Praise the Lord”, my intentions were not right, I said it almost hatefully and proudly as I did the stupidest thing ever…

I did like Lot’s wife (in the Old Testament) and turned back around to see (except for me I looked down), because the terrorists were all outside their apartment below me celebrating the end of the world, in their darkness. I wanted to scream at them, that they didn’t win, that God was real, I wanted to tell them that I knew what they were doing but they were just killing themselves, cause all of us Christians were being raptured. I wanted them to look up and be jealous. But that was a very bad and boisterous thing for me to do. Even more so because I took my eyes off of heaven. (You know the old saying curiosity killed the cat, well that is what happened to me.)

Just then I got immediately sucked back down to earth, to my balcony, back into my living room. (I say “sucked” because I felt drawn in quickly, like when someone sucks cold air quickly into their mouth so fast it “freezes” their bottom teeth, but worst.) And a chill came all over me it was like I was sucked backwards through a vortex, a vacuum, or black hole back to where I was first standing. I suddenly got flooded with all these terrible emotions, as fear, shame, horrible sins, and humiliation, and every other bad feeling as God dropped me back to earth. I felt so cold and ashamed, like I was naked on an iceberg. The chill bumps on my body were so big and hard like a plucked turkey. I was so shivering-cold; I have never felt the bitter coldness like that before.

Just then I woke up, my skin was cold as ice, the large chill bumps were still on me, was it real? I become even more afraid, because the room was pitch black and I could not see anything. Was it real, had God sent me back here to be destroyed and burn in hell forever? I was still shaking, and sick to my stomach, thinking how could I have done that, who was I to think I was better than anyone, I made myself literally sick. I felt as if I was going to start hyperventilating. I was dizzy with panic and humiliation, nauseated feeling as though I was going to throw up and pass out from this overwhelming dread of what I had done.

But then I thought, my son always sleeps with me, and he is a good sweet little Christian boy, and if the Rapture came, then he would be gone. So I felt across the bed slowly, he wasn’t there beside me, he wasn’t in the middle, finally there he was on the other side of the bed, so I knew it hadn’t really happened yet. Then the heavy weight of hopelessness and despair started to lift. Yet my knees continued to knock and my hands shook the entire time it wrote this story down in the front cover of my Bible. Also, as soon as morning came and all my family was awake I told them, I called my mother and told her too. Actually, now I will tell anyone who is willing to listen, to warn them to get their selves right with God, because the Rapture is going to happen soon.

So now I am praising God for a second chance, the next time, the real time I will do it right. I will not worry about the evil ones, I will not be prideful, I will not look back. I am sorry for my actions, I repent continuously of all my sins, I want to only do what is right and good for the Lord. Vengeance is the Lord’s not ours, he will take care of the enemy, I don’t have to say or do anything. I don't even have to be concerned about the enemies, because God knows what's going on, He knows what they are doing, and He will deal with them appropriately. I don’t need to prove to them God is real, He is real and they will find it out here shortly. But I will be humbled, thankful, grateful, and focused on my God, who loves me so much that he will save me from destruction. I know the rapture is coming soon. I know that my dream was a true sign. It was perhaps a personal sign, but a sign none the less, and one with a great and important moral value. It told me what not to do, unless I want to end up like Lot’s wife. It has allowed me to preach this message to others, to tell them the same. As it says in Acts 28:31, (we need to be) "Preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding Him.

Please humble yourselves, and stay focused on God and an everlasting life with him. And most of all when the Rapture comes, please do not look down, keeps your eyes and heart focused on heaven and God above. This will be the one and only, last time ever, to focus only on yourselves getting to heaven, not your friends, families, pets, possessions, or even your enemies. Just be grateful that you have been chosen and allowed to go to the wonderful place and say “Praise the Lord!” And please never, NEVER LOOK BACK.

The Man of Lawlessness

1Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, 2not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. 3Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for (that day will not come) until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

5Don't you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? 6And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. 7For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. 8And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming. 9The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, 10and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

Stand Firm

13But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. 14He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15So then, brothers, stand firm and hold to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.

16May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, 17encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

Request for Prayer

Christ on a White Horse

11 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. The Beast and His Armies Defeated

Satanic Rebellion Crushed

The Glory of the New Jerusalem

22 But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The River of Life

The Time Is Near

6 Then he said to me, “These words are faithful and true.” And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.

Jesus Testifies to the Churches

12 “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” 14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.” 17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

A Warning

18 For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. I Am Coming Quickly 20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Yoga, is it bad for Christians?

Here was my original post as well: Good article. I took a World Religions class in college and in the section that taught on Buddhism, yoga is spiritual meditation towards Buddha. Many Americans don't know this, they think it is away of just stretching and exercising, but if they would research it they would find out the truth. Also many Americans go on vacations or home stores and buy a cute Buddha statue and decorate their homes with it, not realizing they have just a foreign/false God/Idol. We all must be careful in these last day, and protect ourselves from evil. Some of the earthly things we think are right, aren't in God's eyes, and one day we will all have to answer to him.

Now this is what I wish to add to that: Hey Pastor mike, some of these comments really disturbed me, since they were coming from Christians, and yet sounded so naive. Here is a link to a Hindu temple that teaches on yoga as a way to "become one with Krishna, their idol god.

Now I say to all Christians, God tells us explicitly in the Holy Bible, that that he is the One and only God, creator of Heaven and earth, the Alpha and Omega, and that no one can get to heaven without the Son, Jesus Christ. Also he tells us in the 10 commandments that thou shall have no other Gods (Exodus 20). If you think there is nothing wrong with practicing yoga which makes you one with a Hindu statue, than I guess you thought nothing was wrong when the Israelites having drunk sex parties around the golden calf either (Exodus 32). It's not the same you say, well why isn't it?

One thing I would like to say about this is that all Christians who believe in Jesus as Lord and the Holy Bible as infallible and the final authority, knows whats going to happen shortly. My post aren't to insight anger but to awaken my Christian friends into repentence and readiness for the Rapture. And it's not too late for any of you who have not been saved yet. Jesus tells us how to become saved and live an eternal life with him in heaven; all we must do is believe that He is God and have faith in Him. No amount of works/deeds can save you, no other gods or religions can save you. Only Jesus can and he wants to because he loves you dearly as a parent loves their little babies.

Please meditate on the two verses:
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

Who is against Israel and why?
In the beginning of the Bible, in the Old Testament God made a land covenant (a holy promise) with Abraham that his descendants would have the land known as Israel today. Though Abraham himself never got to see that land, his descendents did through Isaac, Jacob, on forward. As God continued to talk with, provide for, and bless the Israelites, he desired a home, a dwelling place on earth. The place he chose was Jerusalem. He gave King David all the plans to acquire the land and have it built. But David like Abraham never got to see God’s promise in his lifetime. However his son, King Solomon built the Temple back in 970 BC. God lived here until it was destroyed the second time by the Romans in 70 AD. Jesus himself got to go inside the Temple and worship and teach.

Now in 570 AD, 1,530 years after Solomon built the temple, an Arabic false prophet was born named Muhammad, who changed the course of this world. His lies and corrupt ways has brought a worldwide following, that is against the chosen people of God, the Jews, and have desecrated their sacred Temple and other holy sites. They have invaded the Holy Land and built their own place of worship over the Temple Mount, called a Mosque. This was in blatant disrespect to the natural inhabitants of the land, the Jews and Christians. Now they don’t only want dominance just over Israel but any free society, to force them to worship the words of their false prophet Muhammad.

One group in particular call themselves Christian-Palestines, however they are not Christians at all. They do not carry the love of God and Jesus in their hearts or obey the commandments, or respect the Bible, nor fear their everlasting life spent in hell. In an astonishing display of anti-Israel theology, they have declared a “Kairos Palestine Document, a message of “faith, hope, and love,” where they blamed Israel for all their suffering and deprivation. But the true blame should be on the Islamic radicals controlling their politics, media, and yes even their “Christian” churches. If these people had true “faith, hope, and love,” They would not be wishing death to Jews and destruction to their land. The nature of their message actually deplores Israel’s very right to exist. Why? How? Because in their statement are cries to God to remove Israeli occupation, and their hope is in remembrance of the Nakba (The Islamic “rebirth” of Israel). In conclusion the document claims, Israel should be economically strangled into surrendering to its enemies. (McQuaid, April 2010)

The positions in this Palestinian document appear to be almost entirely the same as those of militant Islamists, implying that Israelis must become like pacifists in the name of “Faith, hope, and love” and relinquish their security, homes, and land to Islamic radicals or else be destroyed. These people cannot blame Israel, because the fact is that radical Isalmics are the major persecutors of Christians worldwide, not Jews! To suggest that Israel has no interest in peace is a great distortion of reality. Israelis have made many attempts at reconciliations over the land and have expressed a great willingness to live in peace side by side the Palestinians. But the Palestinians have been brainwashed by the Islamic radicals, to believe their suffering comes from the Jews and Israel, when it is their own leaders who have brought this upon the people. In short, it is the Islamic radicals who have hijacked control of the Palestinian people and it is they who contribute daily to their deprivation and misery. (McQuaid, April 2010)

So where do we American Christians, fall into this line? The Palestinian-Christians believe that we Christians who believe in biblical history, moral justification, and Israel as a Jewish state are guilty of politicalizing the gospel, to say the least, and infidels that deserve death to say the worst. These people accuse those who disagree with them of being unloving and bent on death of Palestinians, who contemptuously play the role of victims of Israeli torture. But for us who live in the real world and of that of theological and historical reality, we know the Palestinians are victims alright, but by the radical elements who have usurped authority in their rampage for regional conquest.

We American Christians can still be supporters of Israel and also love the Palestinians as we do all our neighbors around the world. As Jesus commanded us to in Matthew 22:36-40 (NKJV), “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said to him, “‘you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” We American and other Christians around the world need to let them know we do not want them dead, or wish them to suffer. We do not want this conflict or bickering, and definitely not war, but we want all people to live in security, peace and happiness. Jesus tells us in Luke 6:37 (NKJV) “Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

The Bible transmits a message of true love and liberation for all those who believe. Perhaps the Palestines should put away their hateful, condemning, and warmongering ways and have a little more faith, that God will provide their needs. And to stop blaming others for their problems, and focus on what they can do to bring real glory to God. If they have read their Bibles correctly, they will know Israel is the land covenanted to the Jews by God and his promises will not be broken. There is nothing man can do about it. I feel once the Palestinians come to this truth they will see a brighter future. God has blessing for each person, though his blessing are different for each person. The coming events and assurances on the future need to come from God, not the evil Islamic terrorists whom have perplexed their daily lives.

Hi, I have found some interesting information on the internet I think some of you should know about. These are two distrubing websites talking about Radical Islam in America. This first is a lecture on the truth about Shariah Law. It is from the Family Research Council, a very reputable site. It says that Muslims have the right to lie to non-Muslims to increase their power, it says that women don't have any rights and a lot more. Now if you disagree with what Radical Islam and Shariah Law and what Jihad's stands for, then please take the time to sign this petition. They are wanting to build a 13-story mosque at ground zero, the site of the Twin Tower Terrorism site. It will house training centers just as they do in Yemen, who trained the Christmas plane bomber. There has already been two recent attempted car bombings in NYC, it will get worst if this mosque is built. As Christians we have to fight against this, to protect our country, our neighbors, and our families. If Christianity is removed from America, if America stops being a Christian Nation, then it WILL become and Islamic one. Then we will all be in danger! First and foremost we must pray and put our faith in the Lord Jesus. Next we must continue spreading the truth, the Gospel of Jesus Christ as stated in Matthew 28. We must make sure the donations we give to Charities are really Christian ones. I truely believe we are in the End Times, and if you are a believer in the Rapture as I am, then we hope you are ready and getting prepared my friends, because I having a churning in my spirit that we are getting closer every minute. I feel it is important to keep the laws of our God, our govenrnment, and even our household. Christians should be a good and obedient servant. Rather it is to obey God, our Counrty, our Parents, our husband, our bosses, or our teachers; we do what is required without grumbling, and with a happy heart. This does not to submit to evil, if someone asks to to sin, commit a crime or violence you should not do it. The Bible tells us to flee from evil. Our submitting is only in accordence to the Lord, as he has directed us, to help, love, and honor others as we do Him.

“Give me Liberty or Give me Death”

St. John's Church, home of Patrick Henry's famous speech, "Give me liberty, or Give me death"

St. John’s Church, a National Historic Landmark, became famous as a living memorial to American liberty when over 100 Virginia colonial leaders, including Patrick Henry, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Richard Henry Lee, and Peyton Randolph met here in March of 1775 to avoid the wrath of Royal Governor Lord Dunmore in Williamsburg. St. John’s Church was the only building in Richmond suitable to hold the delegates. Patrick Henry’s famous “Give me Liberty or Give me Death” speech was delivered on 23 March 1775 inside the church. Henry’s timely resolutions passed by a narrow margin and the American Revolution began the following month when shots were fired at Lexington and Concord.

Because of its historical importance, principally as the site of Patrick Henry’s famous speech, the church building inspired the designation of a historic district, the St. John’s Old and Historic District, created by an act of Richmond City Council. The neighborhood began to stabilize and new residents were attracted to the area and to St. John’s. Many of the beautiful old homes of Church Hill have been restored.

Today, one of the challenges of St. John’s Church is to reach out more effectively to this dynamic neighborhood community, both as a historic site and especially as a place of worship. St. John’s seeks to regain the sense of Christian mission to a revitalizing neighborhood and to understand its historic commitment to proclaiming the gospel to all.

This is the Premeble to the Constitution of the United States. I had to memorize this in school, did you? I am glad I did. Now that I am homeschooling my son, and I have made him memorize it too. We have also studied the declaration and bill of rights and other important documents for our country. I have to say Social Studies and History are my favorite subjects. I love learning about our founding fathers and early presidents. That is one reason whyIi am glad I live in Virgina; living here is like being in the center of history. Did you the first capital of the US was in Richmond? Much of the Civil War was fought here too. We have visited many battlefields and museums around here. Also I think Jamestown is neat. I have actually traced my family tree back to the Jamestown Settlement. I am proud to be an American, and I will raise my child to be proud of America too.
