		<title><![CDATA[PHOTOGRAPHERS  - WOULD YOU LIKE TO CAPTURE THE BANDS IN ACTION AT RONNIE SCOTT'S?]]></title>
		<description><![CDATA[<p>PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION <br /><br />As part of our&nbsp;celebration of British Jazz, we are opening our doors to amateur and semi-pro photographers&nbsp;in a rare opportunity to be the house photographer for the evening and to capture the essence of the <strong>BRIT JAZZ</strong> festival. <br /><br />From 1st - 15th August, one photographer per night will be chosen.&nbsp;The images will be judged by renowned photographers David Redfern &amp; David Sinclair and the winning image will be hung in the Club beside the myriad of legends already gracing its walls - and also displayed in the Getty Gallery during their exhibition in October, which is being curated by a high profile celebrity.<br /><br />From established names to up &amp; coming stars, over 100 musicians will play on the infamous Ronnie Scott&rsquo;s stage over the course of the festival. Fifty years on, we&nbsp;celebrate our Golden Anniversary by paying tribute to those early days and presenting two weeks of all-British Jazz. <br /><br />The Ronnie Scott&rsquo;s Brit Jazz Fest, from August 1st-15th, celebrates British Jazz with a diverse range of home-grown talent, from established names to up &amp; coming stars, covering all aspects of jazz music from traditional to funk. <br /><br />We have&nbsp;chosen the crop of the British scene.
