You gave me nothing I could hold, yet I have held it anyway—

the crumbs, the glances, the half-smiles tossed like pennies in my tray.

I built a god from your neglect, I prayed to silences you kept,

I knelt before the altar of the hours that you overslept.

You never struck me down, my love, you simply let me kneel and stay,

and that was crueler than a blow—you let me worship and decay.

I know the weight of every door that closed behind you, soft and slow,

I know the hollow in the room where your absence started to grow.

I filled it with my desperate hope, I stuffed it full of fevered dreams,

I painted over cracks with wishes, mended everything with seams

of "maybe someday," "if," "perhaps"—a tapestry of things that never

would be, could be, should be mine, but I wore it like a tether.

You were the match and I the wood, you were the spark and I the flame,

but you walked away before the fire could even learn to speak your name.

You left me burning in the dark, a pyre with no one to see,

a beacon lit for nobody, a signal you would never be

the one to answer. Still I burn, still I consume myself for you,

a sacrifice you never asked for, but I offered it as proof.

And if you asked me now, today, if I would choose to feel less,

I'd tell you that this ache I carry is the only thing I possess

that proves I lived, that proves I loved, that proves I was not made of stone.

For what is grief if not the evidence that something real was known?

Even if that something was a ghost, a shadow, a mirage you cast,

I loved you in the space between what was and what could never last.

When Hearts Learn to Bend

of love unrequited, of trust betrayed.
The ache stretches long,
resonating in the hollow chambers of your soul,
a reminder that life is fragile,
and even the strongest can falter.

And yet, today arrives,
soft as a whispered prayer,
bearing serenity that hovers just above your wounds.
The sun leans through the clouds,
casting gold along the edges of grief.
And you remember:

even dimmed dreams can teach resilience,
even the harshest transformations can unveil

I guess it's time to come back home,

it's needless to sit here alone while nature

...nature has paved a way for me.

i guess it's time,

dreams harbored as a teenager

pursue, they seemed out of reach

waiting, wailing, ailing, yearning

...not forthcoming

One, two, three...twelve years to be precise

a dream long abandoned

Now I know why survive they could not

it had to be you.

Sweetheart, look yonder

my eyes still twinkle at the sight of you

No longer a teenager

tested and scared by life,

yet, my heart speeds and slows

... at the sight of you.

See, baby... it never stopped

you were my teenage dream

...that I wished on a star.

I guess, it always comes to pass

...when you wish hard enough.

Coming home, where laughter is our music,

you, my entertainer,

me, your audience...its how it's supposed to be

listening, encouraging, supporting...

you thought I was nice then...

now, babe, am more refined and polished

... life being the grinder

will you take my hand?

You asked what makes me tickle 'bout you

damn love... I have no idea!

i guess its true what they say

... love is blind... I think you are perfect

what's there not to tickle anyway?

shooting stars are identified by their streak of light

snowballs are just snowballs baby,

and you, are just you... my perfect long lost prince.

It's been a while, time, space, distance,
They have all left me in a trance,
I somehow lost my wit,
My heart left me in a splint
Am empty, poetry I don't wanna taint
So I'll just be brief

You see, It's all coming back to me,
I was, yes, I used to be flawless in writing
I had my inspiration, the best of me
My sixth sense, but, with a name
At whose sight my heart flattered
...and hummed to a stop
if I forgot to breath.

Everything was magnified then;
the wit in me, the artist in me...
My fingers always itched to pen
As though I had swallowed Thesaurus
then he left... and all came to a standstill
till today... I think am finding myself again,
...or losing myself.

THE BRUTAL HEART

The pain, the anger, the frustration

The bitterness that comes with betrayal

Love that turns sour

Robbing one of their dreams

The anguish of losing one’s ground

Falling and never rising again

Some will call it madness

I call it a power difficult to harness

Love is pure wickedness

A vice that accompanies weakness

Turning joy to bitterness

…and warped that which was flawless

With a sharp sword engraved in my soul

Avenge I must before I face Seoul

You call me heartless

I say, I just use my heart less

Brutality mercilessly took my naivety

Brutality assures me of my liberty

An eye for an eye makes all of us blind

However, a heart for a heart… alienates pain!

It’s a drizzly overcast day, gloomy befits it,

Yet, my heart glows,

Reasons’ distraught at this unfathomable delight

For in its divine knowledge…

Caution is rendered inapt,

For heart finds reason in love

Reason with which reason cannot reason

Heart assumes the conductors baton

All uncertainties dissolve to passion,

It defies reason,

The earth painting green, where flora exists not

It becomes our dance floor, you take my hand

And the dance commences, sashay with me love

You my symphony, I assume your tempo

Deeply staring into your eyes

Seeking for any sign of mendacity, love

… Know what I see?

Leaping arcs of desire… like a log in the sea

We sail with the current, we cruise over the edge

To the far periphery of paradise

In dance, you’re a marvel of efficiency…

Inexcusably gauche it shall be, if I fail to mention…

The exquisiteness of your brown eyes…

Them that display the color of a sea storm,

They carry the weight of words left unspoken

I would gaze at them forever, choose to leave never

With you, a sea of red and white blossoms…

My world coloring spectacular

Though on the dance floor, before a multitude,

I recount with guilty pleasure…

The sight of our naked bodies intertwined in passion

A soft whimpering sound escapes my lips…

Just then, the music stops…

You do not let go, I know you know…

For you are my music!

What is all this struggle about,
It is all a round about,
Am finally convinced, I don belong here
I have shed so many tears,
Tears that I wanted you to wipe,
Tears of the fear that you also don understand,
When did I lose my right to love,
When did love become vanity?

Am losing my mind cant you see,
Cant you realize that it is weighing me down,
I never bargained for this,
All I ever wanted was to love you,
And maybe, you to love me in return,
It was not my intention to be a prisoner,
To walk with invisible chains all my life,
And to experience such immense pain,
It wasn't in my expectations!

Too much pain is weighing me down,
My love is turning to a sour feel,
Am ashamed of what I have become,
My heart, a prisoner in it's own shell,
Free me, or, love me,
That is all am asking for...
I will lose my mind, my heart return to me,
When you value it, return it to you I will!

Sometimes I wonder if I say what you want to hear,

Sometimes my efforts tend to wear,

Afraid that I have lost you and you are not near,

Sometimes I wonder if I instill fear,

Sometimes I wonder which answer is appropriate,

Considering that I should be considerate,

Sometimes the pain in your eyes shutters my efforts,

Considering that I fail your trust in me,

Sometimes I wonder which actions are right,

Considering our difference by nature,

I watch you disappointed unable to understand,

I know you expect me to be right,

Your expectations increase by day,

I do understand you want me to grow everyday,

I fear to mention that our capacities differ,

The energy in me tends to weaver,

However, one thing remains certain,

I love your sincerity,

I love you trust in me,

I love your being there,

Everyday, Every hour and,

Every moment,

I will be here for you!

I watch the stars scintillate,
another day gone by,
my thoughts I articulate,
from them to create a lullaby,
to lull him that I treasure,
to the land of fairies.

I watch the moon glow,
and the breeze of the night blow,
today, my heart you gave an adventure,
I am happy in the joy of loving,
the joy of believing,
that forever, you will walk by me,
that you won't tire loving me.

I took the picture of your face,
forever I will keep it in my heart,
if destiny parts our paths,

i will carry the good memories,

I tightly held to what I called mine,
The thought of love was unwelcome,
the door to my heart was not passable,
I watched the tears roll,
yet my heart wasn't ready
the past had a lesson deeply engraved in me,
i was not ready to let go yet...

You captivated my barren heart,
you stole those keys from my safe
that gentle gaze convinced me
confident that I would not lose again
I let go!
the peace you instilled in me unfathomable
the stars unleashed brightness that I can't contemplate...

You stole my secrets,
those that were deeply engraved within,
i opened for you doors only I had access to,
all my cherished treasures I gave you access to,
bonded and blinded by love,
my live ceased to be mine,
in my little ways, I nurtured our you,
i watched you blossom like a rose bud...

I totally drowned in what you offered me,
i ignored all possibilities laid before me
i believed your every word
to me, you were incapable of lying
truth was your second name
you promised to get me the moon,
am no longer drowned in that hope,
am drowned in my own tears and yet...I can not swim!

Broken promise

Another year goes to record,
Why has it taken you too long,
If only you could feel my heart,
Realize the amount of pain,
that that you subject it too,
maybe you would realize and hurry,
fulfil that which you swore to me,
that you would love me forever...

Now I sit on this cold floor,
Counting yet another year,
It feels like a lifetime,
the pain in my heart excruciating,
i hold on to my heart,
that shell of a heart that I still keep,
it all feels like yesterday...

Where did I make a mistake,
when did this portion,
this terror that it is over,
that it has been over for a while,
when did it become entirely mine,
someone answer me,
Is it a crime to love now...

In darkness, I see silhoutte figures,
I find myself lost in time,
I wait to feel you gently blow on my neck,
its unfortunate,
It never will be, it is a dream,
a dream long buried in time,
I can only keep the memories,
the only thing that I can call mine...

Maybe you will be back someday,
that's my thought everyday,
But, if not today,
I may not be able to wait!

I wish I had the courage to say,
That which my heart contained,
A smile at another tore at my heart,
I wished you could read my emotions,
I was a mere ghost,
I was too shy to confess,
Yet, too proud to lose,
I can't comprehend,
Why it took you so long to realize,
That together we belonged...

I wish I had another way out,
For this feeling to fade away,
To be free from this emotion,
To learn to be free and fly again,
It's a pity, only your love can set me free,
Life is indeed a mystery,
I can't read your heart,
neither can you read mine!
Deep inside, we all have one longing...

Mine is hope against hope,
that which has become my hearts companion,
I can only wait patiently,
That someday,
'you will get the picture of my heart,
and that you will accept it as it is,
denying it will mean its doom,
'it can only beat to your tune....

Send me an image of your heart,
to perfection it might not be drawn,
however, I will mold it to perfection,
together, we shall bind them,
form a kite that will fly high forever,

What could i do?

the winds were strong
My words they'd sway
The storm'd rage
My tunes distort
I really wanted to

I wanted to watch you all night long
All day along
The clouds turned dark
You ran in fear of a storm
I’d be your umbrella, but you'd not believe
You sought relief
Away from a storm
It was never to be
Day’s turned nights
Night’s turned dark abyss
What was I to do?

The New Dawn

The sun will surely shine again,
All our struggles are not in vain,
Together we can yield some grain,
And from rejoicing we will not refrain,
For dancing, our feet we will train

Tell me, is suffering our portion,
Is this our permanent condition,
Someday there will be a solution,
For our creator hears our petition,
Only him can remedy our position,



Our sorrows we've overcome,
A new dawn has come,
We are proud of who we,ve become,
A people born of a new dawn,
Rejoice, for our redeemer has come

Weep no more my people,
We finally defeated our trouble,
By his power we are humble,
Able to walk with our heads high,
Turn back and kiss goodbye our troubles

                                     Redemption is the word,
                                   From fear and worry,
                                     To walk in hope and peace,
                                     That is our new destination...

Them that have become my livelihood,
