2011-03-14T17:12:00.000-04:00

Alright, back to work! I hope missing a week didn't upset my followers too much. I assure you I am back in it permanently, just can't mix business with pleasure. If you couldn't figure it out by the title, here's a group of interesting images, all hilarious knock offs.

Do people really not notice?

This rips of A Bug's Life as well

Whether it's a knockoff for for humor, I want one

This one sickens me, kids were denied the pleasure of this movie caus	e of some greedy bastard

Vacation

2011-03-08T18:24:00.000-05:00

I am taking a one week break from blogging. Will be back full force 3/14/11. In the meantime, feel free to check out old posts or send me some photos at RoseAndCrayons@gmail.com

Til then everyone <3 RAC

Pokepuns. See what I did there

2011-03-04T14:33:00.000-05:00

Now as you know I'm not one to just regurgitate memes (I have yet to do that) but I have never seen these before and figured I'd like to share them with my viewers. They are awesome!

Fitting pokemon for this topic

Fitting again MIRITE?

Alright not so fitting

The first intellectual pun, not about sex or drugs!

And promptly back to sex. Kinda. Whores love sex.

This one's impressive, and apparently Fil-m is no a hyphenated word.

Sorry for the tiny size. This one is also tough to figure out I though haha.

So did you get them all? Most of them were pretty easy. And if you didn't figure it out, just read the phrases and insert the pokemon name for the picture, pretty simple concept. I love it however, and want more. Enjoy your weekend everyone, see you Monday! Email me some random pics! ~RoseAndCrayons@gmail.com

And now for a segment entitled "Aminals"

2011-03-02T15:20:00.000-05:00

Kids growing up pronounced Animals this way. I often think that should be the correct way, it has smoother feel to it. IDFK. Anyways... email me some content at RoseAndCrayons@gmail.com

I want one, actually make it two

He wants two, maybe more (poor segue FTW)

Speaking of two...okay I'm done with the segue-ing

This is me after midterms

When asked how much he enjoys my blog turtle responded...

I don't wanna say I'm running low on content, but with a couple of midterms this week and no time to peruse the internet I am running low in my bank. So any pic you have on that hard drive, you know where to send them! ~RAC

Creepy time

2011-02-28T14:28:00.000-05:00

Here are some pictures I've found along my journey to be creepy. As always, feel free to email me some content at RoseAndCrayons@gmail.com

This is a sweet picture regardless of the creepiness!

Yup that's creepy =/

I wonder what this would look like in color...

This kinda looks like it is from a movie? Viewers?

I see what they're going for, but I find this a meek attempt.

P.S. I got a few comments about how people had seen the 5 dollar bill photo before. I apologize as I was unaware, that just means one of my viewers just emailed me a pic rather then sending one of his or her phone, or that user was indeed the creator of said content. Either way I will try harder next time to ensure only original content. Til Wednesday ~RAC

I get by with a little help from my viewers

2011-02-25T13:58:00.000-05:00

Alright, I wish I got more participation but I was only sent four photos. Hopefully seeing this post will spark some enthusiasm for the next time I try to do this. Enjoy!

Certainly a WTF pic haha

Alright, this was your mom's reaction when you told her that it was indeed her job to do your laundry even though you were past 18.

BOOM!

Easy, you were bored in Physics 101 and happened to have a 5 dollar bill on you.

What company is this?

You snuck into a luncheon at the White House?

I can't stop laughing

No matter how many times I look at this it is always just as funny. Such grammar and posterity. Jack Wilson, I nominate you for president of everything. You are my hero. Clearly a troll account, but a damn funny one. <3

I hope everyone enjoyed so 100% certified original content. Thanks goes out to the users who were kind enough to send me in their picture. Special thanks for the owner of http://wtfamidoinginidaho.blogspot.com/ who helped me a lot with this post. And finally, I really enjoyed seeing some never before seen photos, and posting comments about them. I hope to do it again once I gain more support from you the viewers. Please keep checking back for more photo posts. See everyone Monday!

Faces, faces everywhere!

2011-02-23T14:13:00.000-05:00

Here's a few pictures I found entertaining. Most importantly the first one for those of you familiar with the "Forever Alone" meme. Unfortunately the pics have not been pouring in for Friday's post :( I need your help guys, I really wanna see how this social experiment turns out. Email me a pic off your phone to roseandcrayons@gmail.com

This is true..

I shit you not folks, pull out a dollar bill or head over to wikipedia for a high res scan. It's there...Brilliant

Not really a face

I just had to include this one cause it goes well with number 6 haha

My reaction to number 5 is shared by this plane.

I don't know why you did this..but thankyou sir.

Now that's a classy outlet ;)

I wish I possessed this skill.

I would never eat an apple the same way again!

How in the world...

This is either impressive photoshop, or the coolest thing ever. You decide.

Entertained? Amazed? See you guys Friday! If I don't get enough support then there will be no special Friday post, so tell your friends and send me some pics! ~RAC

Preparation and some signage!

2011-02-21T15:07:00.000-05:00

Alright, in preparation for Friday's post (see "Coming Soon" wall to your left), I am again imploring visitors of this blog to open up their phones and forward a random picture on it to roseandcrayons@gmail.com Keep it PG-13 though, I am a lady ;). I will compile all the best ones into a list similar to my other posts and try to write a brief caption explaining each picture. The more random the better! Here's a few signs to keep you entertained as you flip through hundreds of pics on your cells. Enjoy!

This is a good idea. People hate dishes but love puppies!

I don't know if this is shopped or not, regardless, well done sir.

Passive aggressive-ness FTW!!!

I juggle and this made me laugh so I had to share it.

People at Berkeley are dicks...or laid back? Poor girl...

I hope you enjoyed the signage post. If you have a funny sign send it to me, you should know how by now. And also, SEND IN THOSE PICTURES. I want a decent post this Friday, let's see what you guys got! It'll take only a minute and can be done right from your phone, just put roseandcrayons@gmail.com in the address field on your phone. See you folks Wednesday! <3

What has been seen cannot be unseen!

2011-02-18T12:32:00.000-05:00

Friday time, before you loyal RACers get hammered and think everything's funny (or maybe you should wait) let me ruin some things for you. Love Rose and Crayons!

You sick bastard!

Seriously, diglett has been ruined. Alls I see when I stare upon his innocent face is a mouth gaping red-necked baby :(

You...enlightening bastard?

Alright, not as life ruining as the previous, but still, I hate how I now notice this every time I see the logo.

Seriously Microsoft? There's no way this was unintentional and the man responsible for this deserves a high five.

More like can't unthink!

I'm actually kinda sorry about this one :P

Well I hope no one is in a drunken rage over these, and you don't hate me. I wish I had more of these so if anyone does send an email to roseandcrayons@gmail.com with the subject cannot be unseen. I'll be happy to another life ruining segment in the future! Make sure you stick around this weekend, sometime Sunday I will be making an announcement about a user submitted entry. It should be very entertaining. Til then RACers <333 PS did you notice my red white and blue theme for this entry. I'm patriotic as fuck.

Girls of the Rainbow

2011-02-16T16:06:00.000-05:00

Girl's do many crazy things. One of my favorite is dying their hair a ridiculous color. Whether they do it to be rebellious or a hipster who cares. It tends to come out looking awesome. Agree or disagree?

I can't tell how old this girl is...

Her eyes are ginormous O_O literally

Not sure why she has a lime in her mouth, or how chins get that pointy...

My personal favorite, blue should be a natural hair color

This might be the best I've seen for purple hair. Not bad madame

Not the bubble gum pink I'm used to seeing. Me gusto

I take it back, this is my favorite. I've never seen such chaos look so good!

So male followers, what's your view on girls with unnatural hair? You hate it, you love it? It depends? I think it's a great way to make yourself look unique and go against those stereotypes that only whores and emo teens die their hair. Hope you enjoyed today's post see you Friday RACers! ~ Rose and Crayons

V-cards you definitely wanna give away ;)

2011-02-14T14:19:00.000-05:00

As a toast to Valentine's day, here are some cards that would be perfect to give to your nerdy girlfriend. Hey maybe she'll even give you her V-card in return. Know what I'm saying.

So i herd u liek mudkips...

Can anyone look at this and hold a straight face?

If you're boyfriend or girlfriend is a star wars fan he/she will surely smile at this

For any of my older followers out there :)

This is adorable for all ages.

No innuendo here, no sir

How romantic..awwhh

Give this to your boyfriend. Now! they will love you til next V-day!

So male followers, I'm sure you got a kick out of these more so than the woman. And really, print one of these out and give it to your significant other and post results. I can't see them not absolutely loving the personal-ness of it. Til Wednesday RACers! (Rose and Crayons - ers) And remember, vote in the poll situated in the top left if you haven't yet. Happy V-day all, and may you exchange V-cards with your significant other tonight!

That definition is higher than a kite!

2011-02-11T12:23:00.000-05:00

Alright gang, today I've got a little something different for you at Rose and Crayons. Still following the format of a photoblog, but these photos you might want to consider saving to your hard drive today. Here's a few pics of HD pics suitable for wallpapers for almost any resolution (up to 1920x1200 for those of you who care). Each pic is in that resolution format, and when I see them I drool. These make for a good Win 7 wallpaper folder loop to cycle through! Enjoy :D

For cartography enthusiasts!

Who doesn't like maps? I mean seriously. This background is a different spin on the globe (lol pun?) reflecting each countries shape and size with the name of that country. Pretty cool to look at I think.

For music enthusiasts!

Also for rock enthusiasts. This wallpaper is gorgeous, and if you love music as much as I do you're probably right clicking and "save image as"-ing as we speak!

For cartoon enthusiasts!

This is a vectorized tsunami. It looks BA on any desktop from what I can tell. I also have the strangest feeling this takes place in the pacific ocean. I don't know why but I just feel it. Anyone else?

For humor enthusiasts!

This wallpaper seems to get a laugh out of most of my friends when they see it. And the girls generally say it's cute (so gentlemen...). It's simple, which is what is most appealing besides the light-hearted comedy entailed within.

For...lighter enthusiasts?

No wait, for awesome enthusiasts. This wallpaper is sick. Put it on your desktop right now. Minimize this blog and do it. It's got rainbows and fire and shit. What more could you want?!

So I hope everyone enjoyed the above wallpapers. To get them in all their pixelated glory, click on the thumbnail and a massive canvas of a PNG will open before you. Happy weekend ERRYbody, show off those desktops! Check back over the weekend for a hint on Monday's upcoming post! ~Rose and Crayons

Shut off the lights and look at these right before you go to bed

2011-02-09T14:13:00.000-05:00

It's Wednesday, and today's content feature's some thought-provoking images. I don't know if they will have the same effect on you but whenever I look at these in complete silence and darkness my mind tends to spin off on many tangents. Mostly ending in me motivating myself to do well in life. Hopefully my readers experience the same boost!

I have a goal in life to make one of these someday.

The tricky part isn't having the balls to vandalize a wall.

It's finding a noticeable spot.

And creating that unique phrase that makes a person change when he sees it.

QUESTION EVERYTHING...

Thus concludes Wednesday's post! Be sure to vote in my poll and read the orange text situated off to your left. I've got big plans for this blog and only you the viewers can help turn this into an internet sensation! Be a part of something big guys <3

Food Less the Ordinary

2011-02-07T14:37:00.000-05:00

Alright it's Monday and time to get back into the swing of things. Today's post features some delicacies that are quite odd but nice to marvel at. I hope you enjoy!

#1

Talk about a vegetarian sandwich

I personally would not eat this but it is definitely a work of art. Everything is so symmetric and perfect looking. If there's a restarante that serves meals like these I would like to go there!

#2

Bacon makes everything better right?

I would personally devout these. They look pretty simple to make so this weekend I am going to try to fry these cholesterol filled morsels up and see how they taste. Awesome I bet!

#3

Certainly from Asia

Here's another I wouldn't eat, but I'd much prefer number 1 to this one. Slice eggs, really Japan? Prepackaged slice-able cookie was a good idea, eggs, not so much.

#4

Eggs in a basket. NOM

This is the first item on the list that I personally know. It became more well known since the release of V for Vendetta as Guy Fawkes cooked these in the movie. I have made them once, it's quite simple, and they are amazing if you like toast and eggs! I suggest all my viewers try them. They'd go great with Number 2 I bet!

#5

Cause we need a dessert in this list

I don't know who or what...but I want them. All of them! It appears as some genius decided to put an area inside a ball of cookie dough and bake it. I don't know if it's that easy but I sure am going to try. This image literally makes my mouth water!

And that's that! I hope my viewers weren't disappointed and these foods were unique to their eyes. As always I love your comments and love. Stay tuned for hints on Wednesday's topic. See you then <3

Architecture that just makes you wanna spend money

2011-02-04T12:38:00.000-05:00

Here's some interesting architecture that just makes me wanna study hard become rich and famous and incorporate all of these into my mansion. How badass some of these are! Really makes me wish I was much older and had the liberty to add these to a home I owned. One day... So tell me what you guys think about this post. Interesting to scroll through or no?

What a kickass room. Every toddler should grow up in this!

These stairs are really sleek. Very unique and anyone who entered your home would be jealous to see such an awesome staircase.

Who hasn't always wanted a secret passageway that no one knows about. Lift up the stairs and you could have you man cave or private bar or whatever back there. It would definitely impress trustworthy guests!

Jesus Christ! If I got to live in a room like this as a kid I woulda been the coolest kid in town. Even the bookshelf is boss. The rolling chair up high seems a tad dangerous though. Oh well kids are tough. Worth the risk!!

Again with the cool set of stairs. These just scream I'm original, and would make any house seem so modern. I want my house to have crazy stairs!

I hope everyone enjoyed looking at these cool pieces of original architecture. I hope my photos never disappoint. Please leave feedback on what you thought of this post and express any ideas you have for future posts. Thanks for tuning in and check back over the weekend for a hint to Monday's upcoming content!! ~Rose and Crayons

Nerdy things you want

2011-01-30T23:38:00.000-05:00

Alright gang, to tantalize your taste buds and get you loyal supporters ready for Wednesday I've come up with a new post type to foreshadow nerdy girls. Yes, the set date for that is now officially Wednesday. Get pumped :)

USB Like a Boss!

Why nerds want this:

Nerds love flash drives. I don't know why but I am obsessed with them personally. I have more than two dozen and I don't even use them that much. People who are into technology and computers tend to just collect more of these then they can use. This is a unique idea that gives the holder a sense of security with their deepest most darkest data. Not really cause if someone really wanted the data they could get it but this would just be awesome to show off to your other tech buddies.

Pizza Cutter Like a Boss

Why nerds want this:

It comes standard that people who love video games and other nerd things love pizza. When frozen pizza is made cutting it with a knife is a royal pain in the ass. Even with a pizza roller it isn't even. With this unique toy pizza cutting is not only easy but pretty sweet. I would invite my friends over and offer them pizza just to show them how easy t is to cut it with this device. They'd be so jealous and want their own. Maybe it's not nerdy but I bet you want it.

Sleep Like a Boss

Why nerds want this:

This one might be more focused to the lady viewers of the blog (despite the male :model") but if I saw a guy with this as we went to go to his room for alone time I would leave. Anyways this is a unique bed that might look a little childish but if you had a girl that invited you over to cuddle with her buns you would totally be pumped. My only concern to not go out and buy this is the height factor. Circular beds are so inefficient.

Tile Showers...Like a Boss

Why nerds want this:

This made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I don't have my on house yet, but this idea made me wanna go buy a house just so I could tile my bathroom, and possibly kitchen floor in honor of TETRIS. A game any true nerd has played a million times and loved every line they've wiped. Nerd or not, this beats the crap out of any plain tiling pattern.

I hope my loyal supporters have enjoyed this post and brought the nerd out of some of my followers. This is a precursor to Wednesday where I show my followers some pictures of nerdy girls that I am personally jealous of. Not too often do you see nerdy and hot girls encompassed into the same woman. Stay tuned bloggers! And if any of you guys know where to purchase any of these items post some links and I'll love you forever. I want that flash drive :P See you Wednesday...Like a Boss!!

3 new concepts that should be funded further

2011-01-24T14:59:00.000-05:00

3. Gibson Firebird X

What is it:

A $5500 guitar

Why should it be funded more:
Well this one technically has enough funding already as it's slated to be released but it still deserves a spot on this list. It's an instrument with an app store. That certainly has never been done before, and one might think, well how many apps could you really need for an instrument. But that's just it, it's unexplored territory, who knows what the population will think of when developing for such a piece of hardware. You didn't think throwing birds at wooden buildings would be fun but Angry Birds is currently the number one app being sold on the iPhone. How about a flashlight app, or a tethering app. No one saw these coming when app store were released but the user population exploded a simple app store into so many unique and fantastic ideas that it was never intended for. So imagine what the same population could do to affect music in the 21st century...plus the guitar can tune itself. That's enough right there to get ideas flowing.

2. Phone concept

What is it:

A unique phone concept

Why it should be funded more:
Phones have gotten boring over the years. There's no longer any excitement anymore when one gets a new phone after their contract is up. It used to be impossible to wait to get your hands on a new phone, they were so new and all unique and the technology was recent enough to always keep you on your toes. Flip phones, to slide phones to phones with fully keyboards to two screens to touch screens. Now that everything has been done once and twice before getting a new phone isn't about using a new cool piece of technology but just finding a new one you won't gt sick of and be stuck with until your contract switches. This phone however is completely new in it's nature. 3 screens, can be folded out into any shape, hundreds of new uses could be thought up of by the user, some shown in the video such as two people watching two different screens simultaneously. It's just a refreshing video to let the world know there's still new technology out there that can excite the user to that 2005 time when you couldn't wait to go phone shopping. Video posted in sources below, it's worth a watch, only two minutes, plus the girl is kinda hot...

1. Underwater skyscrapers

What is it:

A skyscraper located underwater

Why it should be funded more:
This earned the top spot because there are so many reasons this should be funded way more then it currently is (around $0.00) First and most importantly, it's a good notion that the world isn't almost out of space. Because currently that is exactly what's happening. The world is being over populated and we're simply running out of places to stick people. Building these types of architecture opens up virtually endless space for centuries to come. Rather then building our skyscrapers taller, stick some in the ocean and build down. It's a very strange concept at first but doesn't it make total sense? It would bring so much more use out of our world, and even help the economy, because if one could stay in an underwater hotel for cheap versus a ground hotel that's more expensive, which would they pick? I only envision it cheap because they're analogous to land scrapers. Occupy big space, many rooms, many customers, price gets driven down. This idea may be the key to solving overpopulation, which the world will have to face sooner then it thinks it does. Plus it would be one hell of a technological advancement for mankind. Plus, underwater malls, hotels, restaurants, amusement parks...sounds pretty amazing to have in our lifetimes.
