Rain City Rotary donates to West African training center, He’re’ Je’, in Bamaco, Mali in West Africa. The center takes girls who are begging on the street and teaches them an income-generating skill such as making beaded jewelry or making batik fabrics.

Antigua 2010

This is a joint project with Newport High School, Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club and Rotary Club of Antigua. Every year the Newport High School Cisco Networking Academy visits a location to build computer labs for schools in need. We have shipped 2505 computers, 3000+ dictionaries, schools supplies, and chess sets to the Island of Antigua. Volunteers installed computer labs as well as distribute dictionaries, school supplies and chess sets.
