CMRT 113 a Vibrant Table In Calcutta and Area 4 of ROUND TABLE INDIA . Chairman Tr Kunal and his team of tablers has completed a 6 Classroom Block at Chunakhali which is 110 mms from Calcutta and is having its Inauguration on the 10th of June 2012.

We from CMTRT 113 invite everyone for inauguration of our 2^nd FTE project on 10^th June, 2012, Sunday. The school is the 2^nd permanent structure in the village Chunakhali, first one being our maiden FTE School last year. The school is equipped with 6 classrooms, 1 mid-day meal room, 3 toilets and a tube well. The village which is about 110 kms from Kolkata, was very badly affected by “Aila” storm few years back following flood from nearby delta belt making the soil saline and unfit for agriculture. This school is a kind of boon to them in terms of mid-day meal, drinking water and hygiene toilets for their kids. We are also looking to do something for the farmers in coming days which we will keep sharing with you all.

We will request all to be the part of this inauguration and share feeling of joy, pride, satisfaction, containment with the villagers and us.

Tablers of SRT 135 and Circlers of SLC 72 did a fantastic job with their Community Service on 27th May 2012. The Non FTE Project done has not only helped the People in need and but also has generated great Publicity In Media and News Papers across the centre and Gujurat.

REPORT OF JAIPUR LIMB DONATION CAMP ALONGWITH WHEEL CHAIRS AND TRICYCLES & BLOOD DONATION CAMP AT NEW CIVIL HOSPITAL SURAT

‘The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others’
and tabling provides us with immense opportunities for the same. Great opportunities to help others, seldomly come, but small ones surround us daily. One such opportunity came our way, when we, in association with the New Civil Hospital, Surat, conducted Free Artificial Limb Donation Camp followed by distribution of Wheel Chairs & Tricycles to the needy. Blood Donation Camp was also harmonized by us.

The diligent circlers of SLC 72 & the vigilant tablers of SRT 135, joined together to give shape to this noble thought. Several meetings were held with the Authorities of “New Civil Hospital, Surat”, “Bhagwan Mahavir Viklang Sewa Sahay Samati (Jaipur Limb), Ahmedabad” & “Chhaydo, Surat” in reference of the same and finally the camp was decided to be organized & held on Sunday morning of 27 May 2012.

Pamphlets with necessary details were printed and around 12000 copies of the same were distributed in the slum areas of Surat city. Also, a Press Conference was held at Civil Hospital 10 days before the camp. These were done in order to reach & serve the needy either with Artificial Limb, Wheelchair or Tri-cycle.

On 27May 2012, we reached the venue along with the team of Bhagwan Mahavir Viklang Sewa Sahay Samati, Ahmedabad, where we were greeted with hope seeking patients waiting for us. Member of DDRC (dept. New Civil Hospital), helped us with registering the patients for Jaipur Limb.

Once the registration was done, individual patient was called and inspected by the team of BMVSS, Ahmedabad. This included the measurement of various areas of the amputee leg and making the dye in POP material for the same. The camp continued till 5 p.m. with overwhelming response & catering 60 patients from various age groups. The patients were informed to come again on 24 June 2012, for enriching them with the measured artificial limb.

Provision for distribution of crutches to the needy was also done at the camp.

50 units of blood were also collected during The Blood donation camp, which was held in the separate building of the hospital campus.

On the following day i.e. Monday, 28May 2012, distribution of wheel chairs and tri-cycles were done by of our honorary chief guest Mr. A J Shah (Collector of Surat). We also had Dr. Mahesh Vadel [Suprintendent, New civil Hospital] Bharatbhai [Secretary Chhaydo] & Tr. Naitam [Area 11 chairman R.T.India as our chief invitees. They all appreciated the idea behind the social cause and encouraged us to plan more of such activities in helping the society. They were all honored with a memento by the tablers and the circlers.

The Total cost of project is  approx  Rs 3,00,000

The entire event was published in newspaper-Loktej and was also aired on local channel- My India Tv, which furnished the success of the event.

We thank all the donors for their monetary support towards Jaipur Limb, Wheel-Chair and Tri-cycle. Their noble gesture towards our efforts has always been an inspiration for us.
