There is a busy traffic around St Barth beach because of Adriana Lima in bikini that poses as a diva of La Dolce Vita. On the set of the new campaign for Victoria's Secret bikinis there is Adriana Lima the Brazilian Supermodel. Here are below some shoots (thanks to Splashnews).

This carbon offset project in Honduras installs a biomass plant which will run on biomass residues of about 20 saw mills. CO2 emissions are being reduced by displacing the use of fossil based electricity by clean and sustainable electricity produced by this renewable energy source.

In Talanga, Honduras, in the Regional Association of Sawmills Francisco Morazán (ARIDEMA- Asociación Regional de Industriales de la Madera de Francisco Morazán) a ‘first of its kind’ two Megawatt gasification reactor will be installed. It will run on biomass residues of about 20 small saw mills that are associated in the ARIDEMA. The generated clean and sustainable electricity shall be exported to the Honduran national grid. CO2 emissions are being reduced compared to the situation without project by displacing electricity from other sources like the national on fossil fuel based grid or generators running with fuel oil.

The project will also lead to an improvement of the sustainability of the saw mill business and of the socio-economic situation of the owners of the saw mills, employees and families. Thus by providing cheaper electricity to the saw mill owners compared to the electricity they purchase from the grid; by allowing the participation of the saw mill owners in the project; by providing another source of income to the saw mill producers by purchasing the sawdust that is currently left to decay or which is burnt; and last but not least by improving the health conditions of the saw mill workers and inhabitants of Talanga by reducing the numbers of fires and therefore the amount of pollution.

The gasification project shall be a model for numerous other communities and biomass associations that have a renewable energy resource and productive business at hand. The transfer of innovative technology will lead to the forming of new human capital – like skills and knowledge – in Honduras and also create new jobs.

A very beautiful film on the Mysterious origins of the civilization and one of our greatest mysteries: Man's origins. The film sounds as a scientific investigation about some evidence that the academic community has quietly ignored on the origins of Man.
Enjoy

Since Einstein stated than c, the speed of light in vacuum, is a universal constant in nature, several experiments have been made confirming this assumption. Recently Scientists in Switzerland say an experiment appears to show that tiny particles traveled faster than the speed of light -- a result that would seem to defy the laws of nature.

The physicists say that neutrinos sent 730 kilometers (453.6 miles) underground between laboratories in Switzerland and Italy arrived a fraction of a second sooner than they should have, according to the speed of light.

The physicists say the measurements of the distance and the time involved were performed with great precision, to nanosecond accuracy.

And the results seemed to show the neutrinos travel "at a velocity 20 parts per million above the speed of light, nature's cosmic speed limit."

On 18th of November the Scientists rechecked parts of the experiment to take into account suggestions from their critics. They announced Friday that the new test confirms the initial findings.

While this result is a very significant improvement over the previous measurement, many of the concerns that have been raised about possible sources of uncertainty remain.

“We should probably remain skeptical until we have confirmation from other experiments,” said a Scientist.

Anyway few theories have emerged during the past that raises the possibility that the speed of light limit could be violated. Those theories embed the Einstein's Special Relativity as a low energy limit.

We talked about these new Relativistic Theories here and here. They have emerged to explain some paradoxes that are evident when one tries to match General Relativity with Quantum Physics.

Are we at a dawn of a new Scientific Era?

Jared Leto the Thirty Seconds to Mars singer has passed his limits with this very intriguing and rich of symbolism video.

Also it was the first Music Video to be filmed in the Popular Chinese Republic.

A pearl. I wanted to visit China!
I know that now all the Mac puritan funs are thinking: you bought a Ferrari to use it as a Fiat 500! I know but some times windows is necessary. If you are one of the windows user on a mac book pro maybe you realized that there is no way to use thre right button on the optical mouse. So if you don't have a mouse at you disposal you cannot do some fundamental operations on windows.
Boost in Renewables Hope

Italians have voted against rebooting nuclear power generation, thwarting prime minister Silvio Berlusconi’s nuclear ambitions and signalling a potential shift toward renewable energy.

This week’s two-day referendum saw nearly 95% of voters reject the reintroduction of nuclear power generation. Berlusconi had wanted to revive the country’s nuclear programme after it was dropped more than two decades ago following the Chernobyl disaster.

The referendum – in which the electorate also rejected the privatisation of municipal water supplies and legislation that protects the prime minister from prosecution – attracted a turnout of around 57%, more than the 50% required to make the results legally binding. As the outcome of the referendum became clear, Berlusconi told media on Monday that Italy “must probably say goodbye” to nuclear and commit itself to renewable energy.

Shares in Enel Green Power, the renewable wing of Italian utility Enel, rose more than 3% to €1.99 ($2.87) following news of the referendum.

Lee Clements, an investment manager at Impax Asset Management in London, said Italy’s nuclear rejection may be positive for renewable energy and energy efficiency initiatives in the long run. However, with nuclear now firmly off the table and solar power subject to continued regulatory uncertainty, natural gas is most likely to fill the gaps in additional energy capacity in the short- to medium-term.

The nuclear result may also push Italy to be more proactive in expanding its European grid connections, he added.

Italian voters echo German anti-nuclear sentiment
Italy’s poll comes hot on the heels of the recent nuclear backlash in Germany.

Last month, Germany announced that its oldest seven nuclear reactors, which were suspended in the wake of Japan’s Fukushima disaster, will be permanently closed, with a total of 17 nuclear plants to be shut down by 2022. Chancellor Angela Merkel also vowed to double Germany’s 2020 renewables target.

Italy’s referendum also points to the waning popularity of the Italian prime minister. Berlusconi – who features on the cover of this week’s edition of The Economist as “The man who screwed an entire country”– was defeated in local Milan elections last month and is widely said to have used his media influence to dissuade voter participation in the referendum.

As a plume of ash once again drifts towards Scotland from the north Atlantic, experts insist that this time will be different, and new rules will permit more aircraft to brave the cloud.

But as aviation authorities admitted they did not yet know how badly flights would be affected, airlines including BA, Aer Lingus, KLM, easyJet and Flybe grounded services due to take off today.

Barack Obama and his entourage took no chances, preferring to skip a planned one-night stay in Dublin and fly in to London last night for the US president's state visit.

What is known is that the densest parts of the ash cloud from the Grimsvötn volcano are expected to exceed a new safety threshold set for airlines, and services at a dozen airports, including Glasgow and Edinburgh, are already under threat.

A string of carriers have announced changes to their schedules, with BA stating that it will not operate any flights between London and Scotland before 2pm today.

KLM said 16 flights scheduled for today to and from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Newcastle would be cancelled, while Eastern Airways, based in Lincolnshire, axed all flights. Loganair, a regional carrier based in Glasgow, cancelled 36 flights.

The air safety watchdog for British airlines and airports, the Civil Aviation Authority, said particles from Grimsvötn could affect transatlantic journeys by reaching western England on Thursday or Friday, depending on wind direction.

High winds had already caused disruption to rail and road users in Scotland and northern England , with 100mph winds disrupting motorists, rail users and homeowners in Scotland, causing mass cancellations of rail services, and power cuts. Eastbound traffic on the M62 between Leeds and Manchester was brought to a standstill, while three racing yachts were rescued after high seas disrupted an event between Whitby and Scarborough. The winds are expected to affect ash cloud forecasts. The Met Office warned of difficulties in tracking the cloud's progress because of erratic shifts in wind direction. If airspace in western England, Ireland and the Atlantic is affected by the plume, US-bound flights from Heathrow could see delays later this week as planes are diverted around the densest parts of the cloud.

But the CAA said it was confident that a new Europe-wide safety regime introduced after the Eyjafjallajökull eruption last year would reduce disruption and avoid the continental shutdown that stranded millions. Under the new operating procedures, it is understood that the effect of last year's plume on commercial routes would have been reduced by 75%.

Andrew Haines, the CAA's chief executive, said: "Our number-one priority is to ensure the safety of people both on board aircraft and on the ground. We can't rule out disruption, but the new arrangements that have been put in place since last year's ash cloud mean the aviation sector is better prepared and will help to reduce any disruption in the event that volcanic ash affects UK airspace."

Under previous guidelines, aircraft were summarily grounded if there was any volcanic ash in the air. Now, airlines can fly through ash plumes if they can demonstrate that their fleets can handle medium- or high-level densities of ash.

The Met Office's volcanic ash advisory centre will track the cloud, aided by satellite images, weather balloons and a radar specially installed in Iceland last year. Once those zones are relayed to airlines, they will need to prove that they can fly through them by producing "safety cases" that will include information from aircraft and engine manufacturers on the airline's tolerance to volcanic ash.

The transport secretary, Philip Hammond, said that the ash had already caused "modest delays" to flights, including some Atlantic services.

"Clearly, this is a natural phenomenon which we cannot control, but the UK is now much better prepared to deal with an ash eruption than last year," he said.

"Our investment in new equipment to better monitor ash concentrations and our development of new operating procedures for airlines will all help to lessen the impact the eruption will have on UK aviation.

A CAA spokesman said: "Safety will still be paramount, but we will be able to drastically reduce disruption compared to last time, provided there is not a huge amount of high-density ash." The spokesman said a similar level of ash to the Eyjafjallajökull incident would not result in a mass-grounding. "It will be a different picture." However, jets would still have to divert around high-density clouds, causing delays on some routes, because no UK airline has submitted a safety case for flying through heavy ash plumes.

BAA, owner of Heathrow, Stansted, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen airports, has convened a crisis team to prepare for a cut in flights, as airlines and airports await a briefing from Eurocontrol and the UK air traffic controller, Nats..

Under the new ash guidelines, cloud densities are split into three levels: low, medium and high. Once the Met Office assigns a particular density of ash to a section of airspace, airlines must prove they have the safety case to fly through it. A low density cloud is 2g of ash per 10 cubic metres of air, with medium being 2g to 4g of ash per 10 cubic metres. Anything above 4g is deemed high density.

The Grimsvötn volcano began erupting at the weekend, causing flight cancellations at Keflavik airport after it sent a plume of ash, smoke and steam 12 miles into the air. Helen Chivers, a Met Office spokeswoman, said: "At the moment if the volcano continues to erupt to the same level it has been, and is now, the UK could be at risk of seeing volcanic ash later this week. Quite when and how much we can't really define at the moment."

She said the weather situation was likely to be different from last year, with the wind direction set to change continuously. She added: "If it moves in the way that we're currently looking, with the eruption continuing the way it is, then if the UK is at risk later this week, then France and Spain could be as well."

While the ash has grounded aircraft in Iceland, it is not anticipated that it will have a similar impact in the rest of Europe.Dr Dave McGarvie, volcanologist at the Open University, said the amount of ash reaching the UK was "likely to be less than in the 2010 Eyjafjallajökull eruption", and the last two times Grimsvötn erupted it had not affected UK air travel.

"In addition, the experience gained from the 2010 eruption, especially by the Met Office, the airline industry, and the engine manufacturers, should mean less disruption to travellers," he said.

The eruption of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano in south-east Iceland in April 2010 caused the worst disruption to international air travel since 9/11. Flights across Europe were cancelled for six days, stranding tens of thousands of people, and the eruption was estimated to have cost airlines £130m a day.

Eurocontrol said in a statement: "There is currently no impact on European or transatlantic flights and the situation is expected to remain so for the next 24 hours. Aircraft operators are constantly being kept informed of the evolving situation."
The CIA created Area 51 in 1955 to develop and test some secret military projects in the isolated desert of Nevada. More than 50 years later, the base officially does not exist yet, and will not appear on U.S. government maps.

In the fifties and sixties The Area 51 was the center of the Oxcart project, which aimed to set a spy plane that was supposed to take the place of the U-2, which became famous in the early years of the Cold War for photos in strategic locations of enemies that could be triggered by high fees.

During the approximately 2,850 flight ultra secret tests, many people managed to see the same strange (for the time) figures of futuristic aircraft.

Unrecognizable even to air traffic controllers and pilots of commercial aircraft, sightings of shiny titanium aircraft contributed to the growing rumors of a hypothetical presence of aliens (UFO, unidentified flying objects) in the Area 51.

As a result of the project was produced Archangel-12 or A-12, the first true invisible to radar airplane, according to several experts.

The A-12 is capable of flying at 3,220 km / h and cross the continental United States in 70 minutes and at the same time taking pictures sharp enough to detect an object of 30 cm from a height of 27 thousand meters.
It orbits around Gliese 581 Star, without "d", at a distance right inside the Goldilock zone. The Goldilock zone is a zone around a star that allow the presence of Liquid Water. Its surface temperature is not so hot nor so cold to make Water respectively to evaporate or freeze. As anybody knows the presence of liquid Water on a planet is essential to develop Life. Almost in the form we know Life.

Gliese 581d has also a high density of CO2 in its atmospheare. It is likely, therefore, the presence of life in form of plant other than animal. Gliese is then a good candidate to be hosted by life.

Anyway Gliese 581d could appear a strange World if visited by Humans. The denser atmosphere and gravity twice that of Earth could make the new Earth a World different from our Planet.

The denser atmosphere absorbs light more than on Earth. If observed by Gliese surface therefore the sky will appear with a permanent red-sunset-like color. While the higher gravity would make all heavier. About twice.

With present technology it is almost impossible to arrive on Gliese 581d. It would take 20 years traveling at the speed of light, or 300,000 year with ours spaceships!

The following videos shows what we known about the Gliese "Solar" System.
A Goal like those of Messi

Jorge Troiteiro, the Burgos Forward, signs a spectacular Goal similar to those of Messi. With a series of dribling, Troiterio, shows that has learnt something from Iniesta and Messi. In fact Troiteiro is the World Champion Iniesta best friends. There is a difference. Iniesta plays for Barcelona and Troiteiro plays for Burgos in C Spanish series.
According to the report, currently almost 13% of the world's energy needs are met through renewable resources. Moreover, decline in prices of solar installations, wind turbines and other such technologies will likely attract more investment in the sector. The report estimates global renewable investments to range between $1.4 trillion and $5.1 trillion from 2010 to 2020.

Global wind market is estimated to grow in 2011 with more than 40 GW of new wind power capacity, according to a report by the Global Wind Energy Council. Further, the report adds that by 2015 the global installed wind power capacity will more than double to 450 GW from 194.4 GW recorded at the end of 2010.

The American Wind Energy Association says the country's wind power industry installed 1,100 MW of new capacity in the first quarter of 2011. For the second quarter, it had another 5,600 MW under construction which is almost twice the megawatts reported in 2010 and 2009.

We have identified six stocks in the alternative energy industry spanning across sectors such as independent power producers, manufacturers of instruments used in energy control, power conversion and supply equipment companies which can leverage the anticipated growth in the sector.

These stocks have potential upsides of anywhere between 11% and 103% based on its latest quarterly earnings and estimates. The average mean upside value is 53%, based on analysts' consensus estimate polled by Bloomberg.

The stocks are stacked based on upside, great to greatest.

Messi, Ronaldo?

Who is the best Football player in the world? Readers of FC Inter ...issima Milan have chosen the Best. I personally voted for Cristiano Ronaldo. After all, even if in the final of Champions held in Rome had no influenced the match at all, I think He is an enjoyable one. The surprise is that Cristiano Ronaldo was not even placed second, ousted from Ibrahimovic. On the other hand FC Inter ...issima Milan is a blog dedicated to the Nerazzurri fans. Cristiano Ronaldo finished in fourth position after Julio Cesar, the Inter goalkeeper, ahead of Maicon, Kaka and Gerrard.

Enjoy the best goals of Messi, Ibrahimovic and Ronaldo.
With just one round of fixtures remaining in Serie A, Inter are assured of second place ahead of Napoli, although they will be sorely disappointed at losing their crown to city rivals AC Milan.
While the club has not had problems scoring goals this season, leading the Serie A with 66 goals, it is at the back where they have had problems, conceding 41 goals, which is the worst record of the top three sides.
Suprisingly, Inter have been linked with a move for any defenders so far, and instead, all the transfer talk that has been circulating involving attack-minded players.
Manchester City's Carlos Tevez, Lille's Eden Hazard and Udinese's Alexis Sanchez are three of the names that have been regularly suggested as likely transfer targets for Inter, and Zanetti believes all will be good additions at the club.
"Tevez, Hazard and Sanchez are all three excellent players," the Argentinean international revealed to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Zanetti believes Tevez has an outstanding goalscoring record wherever he plays, while Hazard is showing plenty of promise.
"Carlito [Tevez] has always done very well. He has scored lots of goals at every club where he has played.
"The Belgian attacker [Hazard] is not as well known as the other two, but he has great statistics."
However, Zanetti made no secret of his admiration for Uruguayan forward Sanchez, whom he believes has already shown his capability to succeed in Italian football.
"Sanchez, however, has already shown that he has what it takes to be successful in Serie A.
"I know him very well as I have played against him several times.
"I am confident that he is ready to make the next step and can make the difference at a bigger club."
While Udinese finished 15th in Serie A last season, they have shocked all with their revival this campaign and currently sit in fourth spot, two points ahead of Lazio and on track for UEFA Champions League football next season.
A key factor behind their stunning performances this season has been the form of Sanchez, who has formed a lethal partnership with Antonio Di Natale up front, notching up 12 goals and 12 assists in 27 appearances despite not being an out-an-out striker.

Berlusconi, who presented the local contest as a referendum on his government, is widely seen in Milan to have been punished by his core electorate following a bitter campaign that failed to dispel voter disillusionment after months of sex and corruption scandals and the government’s handling of a stagnant economy.
The short film written and directed by Lynch for Dior is called "Blue Lady". Interpreted by a beautiful Marion
Cotillard.

The viewer is immersed in the usual Noir atmosphere typical of Lynch film from the first scene.

Really nice.
