Christmas Cards with Washi and Cricut

It's time for some more Christmas card inspiration!

Today I want to share a couple more cards we made at my class last week.

Christmas Cheer- For this card, I used up some of my Washi Tape stash to make a tree. Chocolate Woodgrain, Gold Polka Dot & Sparkle n shine. I added some sparkles & a Gold sequin to finish the card off. I stamped Christmas Cheer from the Holly Jolly Christmas stamp set.

This reindeer card was inspired by Close To My Heart. They created cards like this for an Operation Smile Auction and an event I recently attended. The background of this card is a Paper Fundamentals pattern. The reindeer was cut from Cricut Artistry, and adorned with some colored sparkles & gems. I stamped Christmas Greetings from the Holly Jolly Christmas Stamp set.

Picture My Life Christmas Cards

Last week I shared with you a couple of Christmas Cards that I created with White Pines Papers, White Pines Picture My Life Cards and Paper Fundamentals.

Today I want to share with you another of the cards we created!

For this NOEL card, I took the Picture My Life Card and trimmed it down a little. I used the Ruby Paper Fundamentals paper, and cut a bow using Cricut Artiste. The white background paper is embossed with the Cascading Stars Folder.

Joy! This card was created similar to the "Peace" card I shared last week. I cut the Picture My Life Card to fit, and cut some of the borders from other cards as accents. I used the New England Ivy Paper Fundamentals for the background. I added Silver Shimmer Trim and sparkles to finish the card off.

Picture My Life cards are not just for scrapbooking, they make great cards too!

Fresno Fair - Scrapbooking Around Fresno

Today I would like to share with you my entry in the Fresno Fair Home Arts Exhibits- Scrapbooking Around Fresno. This layout is of my kids and I at the Pumpkin Patch last year. I earned a Second Place ribbon for this one.

For this layout, I used the (retired) Scaredy Cat papers & Compliments, adding some Purple Glitter Paper too.

Fresno Fair Results

For the last couple years, I have entered some of my favorite layouts, cards and other projects into the Fresno Fair Home Arts Exhibits. I have been blessed by 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons, Best of Show and Sweepstakes Ribbons.

This year is no different! I entered 22 projects and came away with 15 ribbons this year and a Sweepstakes award!

Over the next week, I will show you some of my projects :)

This is a Baby Boy Mini Album that was created using the Cricut Artbooking Cartridge. The entire album is full of cricut cuts. It's super cute and I was excited to see it won 1st place for Die Cutting Machine Mini Album.

This month, Close To My Heart is featuring the Nevermore paper pack.
At my All Day Crop last weekend, I created this Spooky layout for all the ladies. They created this layout as part of their make n take project!

This was a fun layout to design. I used several Cricut cuts from both Artiste and Artistry.

It's Watercolor Paints mania around here!!!

Today's card was created using the La Vie En Rose papers & Compliments, along with the beautiful stamp set Blossoming Expressions. I finished the card off with a Gold Bling Gem! I just love the color combo of red, back and white. Throw a little blue (watercolor paint) in there and it gives it a retro love feel!
