This was taken with the Sony A100 hooked up to the Orion 80ED refractor mounted on my new WO EZ Touch mount. The EZ touch is super stable compared to my old EQ1.

Well, we are back from our month long trip to India. It is taking us a bit to get back to our routine, but in short, the trip was great. The weather could not be beat since it was in the low 90s towards the end. We have now returned to freezing temps here in New England, along with the snow.

I have finished processing images from the Vailankanni Shrine trip and decided to include this one as a teaser.

Sophie is our 3 year old daughter. I have not posted many shot of her, as I have not been able to get decent ones. She has several disabilities and I could write a book or at least some future posts about what she has and what we have been going through to get some answers. Anyway, during mom’s birthday party, I was able to get this shot off. I was playing with the new flash (Sony HVL-f42AM) and bounced it off a low ceiling so as not to be too harsh. The result was decent and I still have some learning to do.
