N:F:P will be bringing their newest perspective for April 2012

Starting April 2nd New Form Perspective, aka N:F:P will begin it's build out at RS Pop for a month long pop-up. Showcased in the pop-up will be the new Spring/Summer 2012 collection, as well as the classic N:F:P staples. Gail Travis, the designer of the brand, is continuing to evolve and tell the story behind her modular engineered designs which continue to strengthen the signature details of her convertible sweater collection. Striving to bring creativity and functionality to clothing design, each N:F:P design can be morphed into new shapes or link to older style while additionally offering one-of-a-kind hand-felted silk chiffon and jersey layering items.

Bringing a whole new definition to fashion, N:F:P gives you sweaters, dresses and tops that can be worn in more ways than you can imagine giving each piece more wear for the buck. A sweater that can be worn as a casual vest, a cozy sweater, or a chic dress is an instant investment to any woman’s wardrobe. N:F:P shoppers will get to experience first hand tutorials on how to wear these unique convertible designs from the designer herself and her talented staff. Travis hopes to inspire women to express themselves and feel sense of freedom with her designs and promotes individuality. RS POP is excited to have Gail and New Form Perspective back for the fifth time at the shop.

The KTCollection fills our hearts for February & March 2012

Designer Katie Thompson mixes metals to create pieces that are classic and easy to wear with just a touch of an edge to make them stand out. Formal studies in silver smithing at Indiana University and 92nd Street Y. Her jewelry is influenced by her travels throughout India, the Middle East, Asia, Europe and South America. Most of all, she is influenced by the New York City streets.

About the jewelry The KTC Handmade line is made with sterling and 14-karat gold-filled chains. Pendants are sterling silver and vermeil (sterling silver dipped in gold) unless otherwise noted. Handmade pieces are designed and made in New York City. The KTC Costume collection is silver plated, gold plated, and brass. Our philosophy is that costume jewelry is fabulous if you want a statement piece that is just plain fun. We do not make or design these pieces. If you plan on getting something that you will wear everyday, invest in one of our handmade pieces made of precious metals for more durability and longevity.

This December RS Pop Shop will be transformed into a one-stop gift and accessories shopping destination with a collective of accessory brands teaming together to make this holiday season extra special.

Buy unique gifts like Payal Luthra’s luxury neckwear, independent eyewear company Lumete’s wonder inspiring sunglasses or pick up a vintage inspired handbag with design elements symbolic of a classic pair of men’s oxfords.

Doors open December 2nd, with shop hours of 11:00 am – 8:00 pm, seven days a week. Join us Tuesday, December 6th, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm for our opening reception. Enjoy complementary wine while you shop and mingle with the designers and receive an extra 15% off your entire purchase.

Also, take advantage of their gift-wrapping service throughout the month! For a small charge, the designers will beautifully gift wrap your purchases, complete with a polaroid gift card! Domestic shipping via UPS can be arranged in-store.
